Dreadful tasteless greasy food had the beef chow mein all noodles stuck to each other meat was over cooked and greasy and bland , also had beef curry watery and greasy plus egg fried rice certainly wouldn’t bother again

Service is sooooo poor. Food is good but not much use when it's sooooo late. I appreciate that you are busy but please be honest with you timing estimate. Feeding my family much later than you had promised did not fit well. If we had known it would be so late ( if you had been honest) we could have chosen another takeaway. Food was good but service is appalling!

Honestly the best Chinese in Dover now. I see it has some previous bad reviews but it has recently changed hands. Don't knock it until you give it a go. Reasonably priced and big portions. Great choice for vegetarians/vegans/gluten free too.

My friend had a delivery from this restaurant earlier today, The food was excellent so this evening I ordered for myself I had hot and sour soup it was delicious, chicken curry with fried rice, and beef with rice noodles, The portions were large and the food was delightful, I highly recommend this place if you’re passing Dover don’t miss it.

I have had takeaway from here a few times and it has always been really good and never been a disappointment. The portion sizes are good compare to most. I had the Salt and Chilie Prawns with chow main, curry sauce. Chicken in Black bean sauce. I was surprised on how many prawns they gave

This was our first time using Kong Sing and I have to say it was a delight. The prawn thai and beef curry were delicious, and the pancake rolls weren't too heavy or oily. The service was very polite...there is nothing to fault here.

Great food. Good sized portions and friendly staff. A big improvement from previous owners. Hope it continues.

Hot, very tasty and good portion size. Friendly and food cooked quickly. Would definitely recommend giving them a try. And they are open on the coldest night with snow and ice when other places closed.

Have visited twice since new owners took over, but have experienced no problems as others seem to have. Staff do not seem as friendly as the previous staff, but then again we had seen the front of house staff grow up there. Food? Well my son does not rate the chicken curry which he previously loved. However all of the other dishes we have had since takeover have been good. Sesame Prawn Toast is second only to The Moonflower's in my opinion. Lemon Chicken was very good, Roast Pork Chinese Style is acceptable, fried rice dishes have been very good but the standout dish, not on the menu but a notice on the counter is Salt and Pepper Squid, delicious.

Easoly the worst chinese I have ever had. The place looked filthy, the staff loomed filthy and the food was just awful. Chicken balls were doughy with a tiny bit of minced chicken in the middle, if that and very greasy. The prawn crackers were stale and the pancake roll was soggy and cold. Never again.

First take away Chinese since the new owners, the meal was to say the least very, very disappointing. The food was extremely greasy, the beef tasted synthetic and the portions were small. Prior to this I would have recommended the Kong Sing as a quality takeaway as we have always had great food and service, hopefully the new management will rectify these issues,

After months of great food the owner has sold it on and today was my first try with the new owners. The driver who dropped off the food boasted that the food was great and there chief is from hong kong. Safe to say it was a fail on there part. The food was horrible and greasy the chips where white not even cooked through and the beef was pink inside the side order of curry sauce tasted like it came from a microwave ready meal. Safe to say not a nice experience. And a loss of a customer. Stay clear of this takeaway until they sort the chief out..

Small portions compared to most other chinese takeaways, greasy tasteless food ,& to top it off ,was cold when we got it home even tho we're only 5 mins away

We use the long ding at least once a month. I don't think I have ever had a bad takeaway. It's not full of grease either!

We were visiting Dover for a couple of days camping and couldn't be bothered to cook so we searched trip advisor and came upon this takaway so drove down to pick it up, reasonably priced and we really enjoyed it,

The quickest delivery we have ever got and when we opened the food it looked disgusting. They must have re'heated or given us left overs. No wonder the delivery got to us within 10 minutes!!

We were stuck looking for a takeway and couldn't find one within walking distance so looked to the internet. Piicked this one on the reviews and we weren't disappointed. Ordered chow mein and chicken fried rice. Cost £9 inc delivery ( which took 25 mins) and both were nice and prawn crackers werw free. Only one little thing stopping it being 5 stars. The fried rice could have been a little tastier and would have been better with more vegetables. Still Highy recommended.

The Chinese food here is excellent I have used this regularly for over 5 years we have been through the menu many times never once have we had any complaints about the food quality.The staff are very friendly and courteous and do free delivery on orders over £10 within a 3 mile radius im glad its local

Just dumped the worst pre-cooked warmed up rubbish. Very disappointed as this was supposed to be a birthday treat. Just down the road from us , will be going into town in future. REALLY NOT HAPPY.

As the earlier reviewer has commented, Kong Sing is an excellent choice for a good quality, tasty Chinese meal. We have used this take away for several years, since it opened in fact, and have never had cause to be dis-satisfied with both food and value. Food is always tastes clean and fresh, never oily as some other take away's in Dover serve. Staffed these days by a number of young (I assume) brothers whom I have seen grow up and take over the running of the business. You could not get a friendlier bunch. Would happily recommend it to anyone, if you're not a resident of the top end of Folkestone Road pay it a visit you won't regret it.

For a Chinese Takeaway in Dover, as many residents know, one is spoiled for choice. Some aren't so good, but many are good or better - however there is one that stands out above the rest. We have been using Kong Sing for years, and I don't think we've ever had a bad meal from there. Looking like a typical Chinese Takeaway this small, family run business is a moderate distance away from the centre of town, on the road towards Folkestone just before the farm. Yet it is definitely worth the trip.The food is cooked to perfection, piping hot even after taking it home from the store, and not too greasy. And on top of this - everything is just so full of flavour. Even the rice, which, at many takeaways, seems average at best, is just full of flavour and is sure to please anyone's taste buds. The rest of the food is also always done well; the vegetables, the meat and the noodles. The price of the food too, is not expensive and the value of the food for the money one pays is outstanding.As well as amazing Chinese Food and swift service (usually only takes 5-10 minutes), the man on the desk taking the orders is always friendly and smiling. Once, after a mix up with our order and someone else's, he even ran down the road after me to apologise and explain the situation. Seriously, if you haven't tried Kong Sing Chinese, you're missing out.
