Food is nice but portions should be bigger, had heard service bad before and can see from reviews that the same few regulars seem to post reviews to push down the bad ones (One has reviewed the place 15 times), not a fan of businesses gaming the system this way.

Asked for a coffee and sandwich for myself and toasted sandwich for children and water for children. Water came quickly, my coffee much longer. It was a good coffee, but had to ask for a spoon. Children’s sandwich arrived, had to ask serviette. A long time after I asked about my sandwich. The lady had forgotten to order it. To be fair they did not charge for it. Think perhaps staff training needed.

Everything is amazing. The staff, the food. I cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect brunch spot. Sami and team are a joy!

This is the only coffee shop in the UK that serves decent coffee. Living in Spain I can honestly say that it is very difficult to find good coffee in the UK, but here it's home from home. Excellent coffee, food and very nice people.

Stopped off at KOHO for a cup of tea and a read. Great service and atmosphere at this local independent coffee shop. I would recommend a vist.

We've been to Koho many times since it first opened in the village. 2 weeks ago, I went for Saturday lunch as a treat with my teenage son. Sat outside, a young girl took our drinks order which then took 10 minutes to arrive (tap water and juice). 10 mins later she came back and took our sandwich order. Then we waited. And waited. Whilst the rest of the place filled up with new customers ALL of whom were served in the meantime. I went in several times to find out when our sandwiches would be coming. Everyone who had arrived after us had ordered and been served their food. After 40 minutes I went in again, paid for the juice and we left without food. We're talking 2 sandwiches here, nothing complicated. No apology just a red face from the girl serving. Behind her I could see another teen in the kitchen chucking some burnt toast in the bin... one our sandwiches? Massively disappointing, it ruined what was supposed to be a treat and we were both really hungry. Went to Rex Bakery instead and were eating delicious, hot sourdough toasties within 5 mins of sitting down. I emailed KOHO and also pm'd them on Facebook about this before posting on here but had no response from them. Really poor for a small local business. We will not be going back to Koho and would not recommend going there, at least not until they sort out their staff training. All the staff were really young and clearly weren't trained to cope with a busy Saturday run. Train your staff!! Shame, as we have always liked the food and the venue and even bought some very nice crockery for our kitchen. Will be interesting to see if there's any response from them to this review......

Came here for a friend's birthday party in the evening. The ladies who looked after us very smiley and friendly, the food they served was delicious, and the whole atmosphere was lovely.

Thank you Sami for providing such a lovely venue for my 50th birthday gathering. Everyone commented on how the delicious food and drinks were. The atmosphere in the room was just what I wanted.

Never disappoints on all levels. Usually eat here with my husband as he cannot resist the cakes and pastries on offer. We’ve tried most of their breakfasts and brunch which are always fresh and delicious. My personal favourite’s are the granola and almond croissant. The staff are always friendly. Sam, the manager is always engaging and welcoming. We will soon be moving from the area and will most definitely miss this lovely place.

BBQ chicken is chicken cooked on a BBQ. NOT chicken with a splash of BBQ sauce. This is not open to interpretation as I was advised when I questioned it.

My partner and I have been coming to Koho for many months and so I feel I have a fairly good grasp of the place. Bottom line is, the manager is a grumpy, lazy and inexcusable rude to her staff (and sometimes customers!!!) and this is only made up for by the yummy food and (mostly) great service from the other staff. You don't really want for brunch to overhear a manager shouting at her utterly blameless staff when they've not really done anything wrong! The two main managers ( S & S) seem more concerned about shouting at their lovely staff, stressing out, or just sitting down and gossiping than actually helping customers! I've had to wait ridiculous lengths of time for smoothies / cakes because when it's one of the managers and one other servers, the managers might as well not be there! I can only hope people tip the servers well!!!

We stopped off on a walk along the River Chess and other lovely places for a bite to eat on a Sunday lunch. It was busy but there was room for the 4 of us. The staff were friendly and efficient and had no problem serving the Breakfast Burrito with mushrooms instead of the advertised chorizo. There's an excellent selection of veggie food - all tasty with generous portions. The coffee is good, the tea is delicious loose leaf and the cake is always fabulous.

Busy little cafe, nicely done inside. Food was fine but nothing to shoot the lights out. Service was slow having been told 10mins it took 25mins and then had to be wolfed down. Sandwiches come as they are - no salad garnish or anything else which was a little disappointing for such a stylish outfit. Nothing to stop us coming back but equally nothing to make us rush back hence average score.

Our first visit for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised and impressed. A warm welcome, delicious pastries on show and great, not too big or too small, menu choice. The breakfasts were well presented and tasty at a very good price.Without exception the staff were all very friendly too.We will certainly return in the very near future.

We've been here a few times now, always good coffee, some interesting snacks and very nice cakes and pastries. Nice atmosphere, though it can feel a bit crowded. Service is good and the toilet is nice and clean Recommended.

I stop in here quite regularly now, and it is such a friendly warm place. Cosy without being overbearing. The coffee is lovely without being too expensive. The cakes are really tasty too.

My husband and I have been with visiting this cosy little independent Coffee house on and off for 4 years. In all that time we have never been disappointed with what’s on offer. I love a straight americano and my husband a cappuccino which are both rich in flavour. The food on offer is freshly prepared whether breakfast lunch or afternoon cake. Over the years I believe we eaten them all. Our adult children love the fresh smoothies. The staff are efficient and always friendly - definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Went in for the first time and was seriously impressed. I had smoked salmon and egg on sour dough bread and really good coffee. I went in around 8.30am and by 9am it was packed in there. Would recommend to everyone

Like this place. Very good hot drinks , lovely cakes and pastries and very friendly efficient service. Nice spot with parking nearby or outside if you're lucky. So much better than Costa down the road. Have been many times since moving to the area nearby.

Really impressed by the appearance of this place inside and out which was easily one of the nicest cafes in the area that we’ve visited and this alone makes it a lovely experience.

Took my husband, 6 year old and 2 year old for a slice of cake to celebrate his birthday at what looks like a lovely cafe. There was only one other customer in there. It took almost half an hour to cut two slices of cake and then eventually bring us forks. We were mostly ignored - the manager was too busy gossiping loudly with friends about people getting drunk the night before. What should have been a lovely experience was spoilt by the atmosphere and zero customer service. The manger murmured an unprompted half hearted apology for the delay literally as we were walking out which proved she was totally aware of what was going on though never did anything to improve the experience. Waste of £16 for two slices of cake and a drink.

On a hot bank holiday Monday after cycling 25 miles and in need of sustenance, Koho was a very welcome sight. Great service, delicious cakes and savoury options such as bacon sarnies on sourdough toast. My custard tart and iced coffee were delicious. The other six cyclists all enjoyed their choices. Not my first visit and this place never disappoints.

Nice atmosphere. Very pleasant and efficient service. Nice coffee and a lovely light carrot cake. My wife tells me that the loo was spotless and set up nicely for mums with babies too. Definitely recommended and the local car park is free for the first hour.

We met family and friends for just coffee and cake on a quiet afternoon in Koho. The staff were so disorganised, had to keep asking us what we had all ordered (and already paid for). Half of us had finished coffees and cakes before the rest arrived. I was embarrassed that I had suggested meeting there.

This is a really good cafe where you can get some excellent light snacks and cakes, they taste very much like home made ones.

We went there for late lunch , we had a Young child with us so at time of ordering we told them to serve his food as fast as possible . They were obviously short of staff as i had to clear the table and take drift dishes to the counter and nobody came to wipe the table . The service was extremely slow and after the long time they came to tell us that they run out of one of our order .we ordered a replacement but no offer free drink or deduction from the bill for keeping us waiting so long especially that we had to order a replacement food . They did not bring the young child food any sooner than the rest of food . So I had to take him out of the place and try to entertain him . After a very long time the food arrived . I ordered Tuna and mayo sandwiches and I specifically asked for the sandwiches being toasted but they only toasted the bread and put the cold tuna mayo inside . Also my daughter ordered stuffed avocado the avocado were extremely small , so when we got home she made herself some food .

It was my first visit to Koho - but certainly not my last! Two of us visited for lunch and although there was a 25 min wait for a sandwich and an avo mozzarella salad, it was freshly prepared to order. I'd rather wait a little longer and have something delicious and fresh. The café was very busy with a cheerful atmosphere and lovely décor. The cakes are works of art and we couldn't resist a carrot, orange and pecan (I think it was pecan!) cake. Hands down the best carrot cake I've ever had - I'll be back for more soon!

Enjoyed brunch with a friend after a Sunday walk. Great coffee, and we both had the smoked salmon bagel (very generous with the salmon) and a freshly made juice. It was (just) about warm enough to eat outside, which made it even more enjoyable. A great local coffee shop with a lots of tasty breakfast choices and tempting home baked cakes.... what’s not to love?

Admittedly it was busy however when we got there every available table had left over plates etc, table was grubby and eventually cleared our own table. Ordered food at counter then waited over 20 mins for our drinks then a further 15 mins for the food.

I am staying close by and come here for coffee as it is the best overall option in Little Chalfont. Service is usually okay and I have no bad experiences with the food. I just wish the breakfast menu had a few more options.The "drink your greens" juice is recommended!

Lovely sunny position, great coffee, good babycino for the little grandson. Music could have been a bit quieter though. Food looked good, albeit a bit pricey.

Quinoa salad as a main course was rather small in size and did not fill me up .For more than £9 it was not good value.The ingredients cost them pennies. I felt cheated.

This coffee shop never fails to satisfy. Always warmly welcoming, offering the very best in freshly and healthy flavours, in a glass, mug or plated, from the chef. Never afraid to keep their minds open and offer new recipes, so today I was excited to try their Tumeric Ginger Latte. I always love ginger shots with my latte so I happily put it to the test! I came to this establishment recently for lunch as I’d heard good things. All I can say is it lived up to expectation, the food was amazing lots of choice! The staff were very attentive and polite. I had the carrot soup and I definitely recommend it! Think I’ll start coming here more often.

Working for a long-standing, local business, I frequent this wonderful boutique coffee house on a daily basis and I just wanted to put on record what a fantastic place it is to start my day. Not only do I get to sample the unrivalled coffee and KoHo’s signature dish of poached eggs on smashed avocado, but I get to mingle with the many other loyal customers from the village who like me, wish to start the day being spoilt rotten before launching themselves into another busy day. The proprietor, Sam Tolley and her enthusiastic and attentive staff, coupled with the perfectly judged background music and of course, the delicious coffee and fare on offer, make it the go-to eatery in The Chalfonts; I thoroughly recommend KoHo to anyone who seek a similar experience or the occasional guilty pleasure....

Popped in here for a quick coffee before an appointment and found a really bustling, high quality modern coffee house. I only meant to have a drink but got led totally astray by the display of seriously yummy cakes, especially an irresistible pastel nata custard tart. The cappuccino was served piping hot in a nice mug and brought to where I was sitting, so it really was efficient service with a smile. There’s plenty of inside seating a few tables on the pavement at the front with a good awning cover. I’ll definitely be coming here again.

Called in for coffee - had to clear dishes to free a table despite 2 staff on duty. Unfortunate rudeness over overlooking part of our order. Won’t be returning and can’t recommend

First visit today. Popped in for Brunch as staying with relatives nearby. What a lovely friendly place! Staff were smiley and friendly and took our order quickly. Delicious coffee (I had a small latte and my relative a flat white) My meal arrived quickly and was lovely and hot! ( warm meals a bit of a bug bear of mine! ) I had crushed (or should I say “smashed”! ) avocado on crumpets with grilled chorizo, poached egg, they offer 2 but I only wanted 1, and grilled tomato. Delicious! My relative is gluten intolerant and had gluten free bread with mushrooms and poached egg. No fuss needed for the gluten free bread as this is always available. Lovely atmosphere noted. The cakes looked amazing but that would be pushing it after my lovely brunch........ definitely next time! Would recommend, no negatives.

Been a customer for many years now, Koho has always been my coffee shop of choice in Little Chalfont even when I was living overseas, I would always land back from a long haul flight and stop off for a coffee and a morning Danish pastry on the way back to the house.

You can sit and watch the traffic hurtle round the busy junction and if you're lucky get a parking space outside; there's b. all character to L. Chalfont and this cafe makes b. all difference to that. Industrial style seating doesn't encourage you to linger (it isn't supposed to after all!) Lavatory opens directly to the dining area yuk!

Provided a very convenient half meeting point for a business meeting. Very nicely done inside and plenty of seating outside made for a great initial experience. Coffee prepared well, scrambled eggs less so - overcooked and rubbery not what I expected at all. Would not order cooked food here again on that basis which is disappointing. Suggest you specify how you like your scrambled eggs cooked and see if that helps the case.

Lunchtime for 2. Always book as they get very busy and are only small. Delicious healthy food & drinks and some not so healthy treats too. Lovely staff too.

This is the best place to go for coffee, brunch, lunch or a cheeky early rosè. Sam the owner could not be more welcoming. Ginger shot and the poached eggs on crushed avo are a personal favourite. My parents love the carrot cake and my teenage boys love the sandwiches and falafel. It does get busy so if meeting a few friends booking a table is advisable. Koho lates are also good fun

Visted KoHo during the Easter break, Had a fantastic Capacino while I was there and took home two scotch eggs which were great.

Popped in for brunch and loved the food. Couldn’t resist having a cake afterwards - all locally handmade. Very friendly staff, reasonable prices and free parking outside.

Lovely little cafe located on the main road running though Little Chalfont. Service was very personal and the coffee delicious. I tried the chefs dessert creation which was at around 1000 calories was sumptuous.

Wow, must ask Sami if they have a new Chef, beetroot soup today was to die for. Had Tomatoe the other day and a red pepper one all amazing but beetroots the best. Go try it you won't be disappointed.😊😊

I love to hang out at this wonderful independent cafe. It’s a great space with really friendly staff and the food is always fresh with quality ingredients. My highlights include the granola with a berry compote (pictured) and it also has wonderful salads and daily soup and quiche specials as well as a too tempting cake selection from a local baker. Definitely #delectish

My cup of coffee at KoHo is that little ray of sunshine in a long working day. For coffee lovers it’s the best cup of coffee around. The staff are always friendly and it’s a lovely environment. If your in Little Chalfont or close by I highly recommend popping in.

Smallish upmarket cafe/coffee house. They serve hot food too, but whatever you have, it won’t be a cheap visit. However, the service is friendly and welcoming and it is worth stopping by to enjoy a little respite in their chilled environment.

Stopped of in KoHo after work. Excellent service from Harriet and Hannah. I had a cappuccino a chocolate brownie and fantastic Portuguese chicken made made by Carlos the Portuguese chef.

A delightful place for breakfast. I was visiting Little Chalfont and a friend suggested Koho to meet up. I was greeted by a smile and good morning by the most charming young man behind the counter. That meant so much. Lots of foody and smoothie choices. if there is a criticism it was when the music came on it was too loud plus some of the patrons were talking loudly in an effort to be heard over the music! However, don't let that distract you from enjoying a coffee and home-made cake or very porky sausage-roll but more than anything I will remember the young man, his smile and courtesy: worth its weight in gold.

Killing time never felt so good. My Americans hit the spot and the rocky road was indescribably heavenly. The stuff of legend!

The coffee and granola were both good as was the reception and service. It was a little difficult to hold a conversation as is was noisy due to somewhat loud children and fellow patrons.

Koho is a wonderful cafe/restaurant. Food is terrific, cakes too delicious to resist and the lady who owns is a delight. Wish Koho every success - certainly earned and deserved.

The coffee here is the best around. The food is delicious and the welcome warm. I know that they had a few issues over the bank holiday week-end. There are some new staff who are learning and so weren’t as efficient as normal. Don’t be put off if that was your experience, Sammi is lovely and working very hard to ensure that her newbies are up to scratch.

Took a friend visiting from London to Koho for lunch today and we both chose the Special, a chicken salad. It was most disappointing, a few lettuce leaves with tiny strips of flavourless chicken (Apparently Soy Chicken?) accompanied with Ginger shreds (far too thick) and orange segments (with pith and stones in them). Not quite sure how it could have been such a disaster. We both left very underwhelmed by the experience. The most disappointing for me was that when I returned my salad pointing out the orange segments, no one approached to ask if I was happy with the salad once it had been returned to me. Had they asked I would have given them the feedback I have just written on here. Sorry...
