We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Koh Thai. Valerie, our waitress, ensured we were comfortably seated and then provided excellent service throughout the evening. The atmosphere and surroundings were just right and the quality of the food was sublime, I went for the Red Curry with king prawns, it was one of the best I have ever had. The Mocktails we ordered were very tasty but were slightly over filled with ice.

Great food, great atmosphere and brilliant service from the lovely Valery - we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend.

No problem to get a table,but busier than usual. Lovely cool table, nice atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff. I had an incredible dining experience at Koh Thai. The food was bursting with authentic flavors—especially the spring rolls and my veggie katsu Curry, which were perfectly cooked and generously portioned. What made the evening truly special was our waitress, Valery. She was attentive, friendly, and made excellent menu recommendations. If you're looking for delicious Thai food and top-notch service, Koh Thai is a must-visit! PD: the cocktails were INCREDIBLE!

Heard amazing things about this restaurant, but was honestly fairly disappointed. First of all it was our special anniversary dinner which we mentioned when we booked. Genuinely got seated on the worst table right next to the bar and toilets, staff grouped up near our table the whole night having personal conversations very loudly. Every other person was seated in the main restaurant was confused why we were alone. Food was decent, Thai red curry’s portions were very small for the price and not much meat in them at all, although the food came out fast it felt so rushed and like they just wanted us out of there, extremely unwelcoming. Starters were okay, nothing special. Would not return.

I last visited Koh Thai with my fiancé on Valentine's night. We were very lucky and relieved to get a booking at short notice having spent the whole day pounding the streets of Oxford visiting potential wedding reception venues!. Our welcome was warm and the atmosphere was buzzing. This was in fact our first meal put as en engaged couple (although the staff did not know that) and we celebrated with a glass of Prosecco. We were looked after throughout the evening Emily, who was efficient, attentive and charming; we appreciated our brief conversations with her. Our food was, as ever, excellent. The belly pork bites and crispy beef starters were excellent and were consumed with great relish - it would have been tempting to order more, but we resisted knowing that our mains would be equally excellent. Indeed the Crying Tiger Steak and the Red Curry lived up to all of our expectations! After such a feast, the walk home through the heavy rain seemed inconsequential.

We visited on Valentine's day and WOW what an incredible evening! The venue looked amazing and there was such a lovely vibe in there, was nice to see all the servers had made such a wonderful effort for Valentine's. From start to finish our server Chantelle took fantastic care of us! We opted for the Thai tasting and Chantelle's knowledge of the menu was really impressive. The food arrived promptly and was superb! I especially loved the Thai red curry! Safe to say we will be back for another fabulous evening! Thank you Chantelle for making our visit so special 💗

We always have a visit here whenever we come to Bournemouth and the staff and food were as good as always. Downside this visit was the heater on full pointing into the dining area which was absolutely blinding unfortunately but otherwise, excellent.

My Fiancée and I had the most amazing Valentines dinner here, the service from our waitress Chantelle was fantastic and she really went the extra mile for us. The food we ordered was perfect, and we left feeling full and very satisfied.

We went to Koh lounge for a quiz night. We soon noticed that every drink we ordered at the bar had a 10% service charge added without permission. I waited over 20 minutes at the bar to be served, given 3 glasses and a bottle of wine and charged an extra £3 for this. When I realised I asked for it to be refunded and the apologised but this happened to everyone - a pint was £6.50 and was charged £7.15 for it - absolutely disgusting that they do this without you’re permission. BEWARE WHEN YOU DRINK THERE

Camila our host was excellent and made our evening meal perfect! Polite, helpful and always on hand to help. Brilliant food and great atmosphere

The food was amazing, the hardest part was deciding what to have! We ended up having mostly starters then shared a couple of curries and a steak between 4 adults and two children. We also went with a 7 and 8 year old but the menu still suited them. Camila was serving us and she was fantastic and attentive, particularly with my two girls. Will most certainly be going back soon.

Had one of the best Thai food experiences at Koh Thai in Bournemouth. We ordered the Pork Bao Buns and Prawn Dim Sum to start. I ordered the chicken Lahksa for main and my boyfriend ordered the chicken red curry. Both were cooked to perfection and an amazing blast of flavour. We had a flowering tea each and an iced tea too and the drinks were delicious. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again

Starters Thai Crispy Beef £8.50 "Banging!" crispy beef with sticky dipping sauce. Thai-namite Prawns £8.50 Battered prawns in a Sriracha mayo. Mains Chicken green curry. £13.95 The classic Thai curry. Coconut milk, lemongrass chilli, and galangal.
