Phoned takeaway at 1720 to have to cancel order at 1910 after 2 phone calls. They seem to think it's acceptable to use the excuse of we are busy. I would recommend avoiding this place. Stupidly gave them another chance 1710 ordered and cancelled at 1855. Best avoiding, customer service poor. Food is only average and long delivery times are reason for review!

Had the half tandoori chicken which consisted of one breast section with a wing attached plus another six wing sections. That chicken must have had 14 wings! Really good though with rice, sauce and fresh salad these guys know what they are doing.

Ordered chips, cheese and donner and a chicken pakora to be delivered but had to wait almost 2.5hours. The email came back when I'd ordered it to say it would take an hour which is OK as it is a Friday night and I understand they'll be busy but unfortunately when I phoned twice asking where it was I was told they were waiting on their delivery driver to return and then the next time I was told it was on its way. I shall not be using this again as by the time the food arrived it was stone cold. Very disappointed.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!! My partner placed an order at 8 just for a sausage supper and a small doner kebab. By 10 it still wasn’t here so we called about our order to be told it’s with the driver. I turned me telly off and listened out and kept checking the window every so often for 50 minutes. Turns out the driver had just dumped our food at the front door without knocking so our food was stone cold. I called to complain and was told that they had knocked loads and called lots of times. Their was never a knock and we have no missed calls on our phone. I explained that to them to be then told basically that I’m lying. I was never offered fresh food to be sent or offered a refund. We said that we’ll never be ordering from here again. It used to be good a couple of years ago but since last year it’s just gone down hill. Food is terrible we had to heat it up for us to then just bin as it was horrible. Terrible customer service! Don’t order here I suggest 5 n 1 as they are very good!

PLaced an online order to give my elderly parents a treat as fathers been in hospital,promised delivery between 18.50 and 19.05...... by 19.40 no food delivered and parents getting hungry and upset, rang kohenoor and get the usual"" we are busy"" excuse... IF they are so busy get more drivers, extend delivery times via website, treat customers with a bit of respect over the phone rather than just giving excuses...... come on guys!!!!!! paid good money for good service,,,,, gotta up their game, this is happening way too often, been a cutomer for years.... but maybe not for much longer

I used to order food from here fairly regularly, but over the last year or so the service has gone drastically down hill to the point that every order has errors, and they are very rarely rectified. Phoning the restaurant to complain usually results in a hostile response from them, typically gaslighting by saying stuff like "oh we definitely included that, you must just have lost it"

I've been going here for a while but this time will be the last. Staff are always rude and have messed up our orders a few times and never correct them. Was delivered a burnt pizza and didn't even bother to phone this time to complain cause they do not care. Staff are extremely rude and poor customer service. Will not be buying from here again.

Was in Koh a Noor tonight to give the Indian side a chance as I have been in the chip shop side for a few years when the older guy was friendly and everything was fresh. Specky with a sour face and an attitude tried to sell me a breaded fish 2 months ago in the hot plate. Only reason there was someone must have ordered it and cancelled, I wanted fresh cooked fish and told him my wife is a recovering cancer patient and not allowed heated food , that we want fresh. Fresh I got but tried to give me the old breaded fish so we walked out. 2 weeks later I gave him the benefit of doubt I went in and again an attitude I asked for a fresh crispy fish and heated portion of chips. The fish was ok , great in fact but chips stone cold. A disgrace I won’t be back Tonight I ordered a Chicken Bhuna a nan bread and chips, I asked for hot , I was only person wearing a mask , none of the staff or delivery drivers were wearing a mask and none of the customers either which I was about to leave but anyway I got my order , the curry was bone dry , no sauce , the Nan bread was burnt and freezing cold and the chips were heated up . I called and complained and told them that this regular at one time customer won’t be back and I have pictures of staff and customers not sticking to government guidelines. The Seagulls will be well fed tomorrow unless they are blind STAY WELL AWAY

I've given this place numerous chances to get its act together. If you love a very late delivery, cold and below par food then this place is up there at the very best for you. I phoned for the chippy (due to it being convenient) the only chip shop that delivers in this area. There exuse my little order was still not been looked at an hour later was that there que is out the door........sorry mate your not even the 4th best chip shop in the town and I'm positive no1 is waiting outside the establishment at zero degrees for a 2 day old fish and poor cooking that I cant get my delivery. I suggest a policy change. That every paying customer is valued and not told cause we didn't travel into the shop were last in que. Isn't this why u hire a delivery driver?. I won't be back and will be sticking with a proper establishment down the road called dinos. Great customer service, warm food and tasty.

I’m writing this review as I stand waiting for my delivery which I ordered just over 2 hours and 20 minutes ago. First phone call 1.5 hours ago I was told it’s just being prepared. Next call half an hour later I was told ‘I guarantee you it’ll be with you in 2 minutes’. 20 minutes later I called and was told it’s been delivered to someone accidentally so I’m now waiting on them collecting it from there and no doubt reheating it before they deliver to me… And I know they do this because they delivered to me incorrectly once before and insisted on collecting it untouched or wouldn’t deliver my food. And finally, when I spoke to them 24 minutes ago they told me 10 mins maximum and a discount but as I say, it’s still not here

Been a loyal customer of Kohe-Noor for many years even back to the days it was trading as the Kashmir , unfortunately they are working their way to loosing my custom , orders always 45-60 minutes late and always stone cold , call the restaurant to be always told foods on its way , but still arrives 30-40 minutes later ( it’s a 2 minute drive at the most) who wants soggy lukewarm pakora ? A baked tattie that’s a congealed gelatinous lump ? A pizza that’s gone so soft it’s near fallen through the box ? Not me !!!!! Come on guys sort yourselves out . Get more delivery drivers , use hot bags instead of a cold car boot . And keep your promises delivery times , then you may keep your customer base .

Lucky to even get 1 star , food was cold. They missed chips so called , was told they would be sent out as they were forgotten. 35 minutes later had to call again to be told they are on there way. 20 minutes after the 2nd call chips eventually arrived...... wont be going here again

Ordered on line at 4.45pm Was meant to be delivered 5 30 . Called 3 times eventually oder arriver an hour late stone cold . Cheekily told by a 14 old girl that it had just been made when I refused to accept order mother in the car started shouting at me . Will never order from here again. Could of had nicer drivers had a small mistake and he refused to give me my food until I paid for the mistake he wasn't calm at all and got very angry and was about to storm off before we could resolve it.it felt like I was being given a shakedown.THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!. I even gave him a tip before!. Also the korma I had was awful was like water with veg in it disgusting.I will not be ordering again.

Not impressed. Our order was 40 mins late. We called and they said it was out for delivery already, but still took 20 minutes to get to us. As well as other things, we ordered a baked potato with cheese and raw onion and it came swimming in mayonnaise too, no mention when ordering that it would have mayonnaise. Unfortunately the food has made both me and my partner pretty unwell - both with sore stomachs and visiting the bathroom often (to put it lightly). We didnt eat any of the same thing (my food was not even meat)and are both unwell through to the next day. The only thing redeemable was the food arrived it was warm. Other than that, would not recommend. We won't be back.

Ordered our food at 5pm was told it would be around an hour. 2 hrs later still not arrived. When it did the food was really disappointing . Barely warm and very dry.

My first experience with them and it I was not disappointed. Ordered naan bread, korma and Lamb kebab, all delicious. The rice was really good and everything tasted fresh. I will order again.

This is my favorite local chippy I can get a king-size kebab for myself from here and any other chippy supper my kids might want from here we do travel about eight miles to get to it but it is worth it the chips are always great and all the other food is always made fresh to order sometimes a short wait is always worth it.

Food is first class here. Highly recommend.

Food is excellent but the customer service is extremely poor I order at 17:30 and at 19:20 still no sign and if you phone all you get is that they are close then they hang up on you I have to call every time I order, We have a very hungry child waiting

Used to always say its great however tonight we've ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Order placed 17:35 it's now 20:15 and no sign, I called at 19:00 to be told its being made right now.... Then the guy hung up. Phoned at 20:00... Just leaving now... Guy at kohe - noor Hung up again. Obviously not looking for repeat custom!! Won't be recommending again after a shambles of evening. So this is getting a one star!

Terrible customer service!! Ordered something quick for the kids online, I ordered 2 chicken nugget suppers which didn't even come with chips so just received a bag full of over cooked chicken nuggets, phoned to query this to be told this is what I get for my money if I wanted chips I would have to order a bag at £1.50 considering I just paid £6 for 12 nuggets! Hate the way they speak to you on the phone! Will not be here again!!😡😡

I thought I’d give this place another go after a few bad experiences. Will not try again. First pizza turned up stone cold. A replacement eventually arrived and was completely inedible. Base was so thin and was somehow soaking wet and also full of grease. Really poor quality food!

Went yesterday. Ordered 3 meals, got 4? But also charged for 4. Didn't realise at the time. Wasn't too bothered, mistakes happen. Food was pretty disgusting a greasy. The girl serving though, didn't listen, I could tell she was more interested talking to her friend.. Then surprise our order was wrong.

Awful customer service, this is not the first time we have had issues with our oder. Put spesific dietary notes in the note section through there own app only to be ignored. Placed an order on line at 17.15 didn’t receive Meal until 19.00, upon arrival certain items were missing So driver went back to retrieve then only to return half hour later with one item, so three items still missing phoned up to be told hold on, then told me they’ll send it out then hung up on me when I tried to speak to them, utterly shocking behaviour.

Love the food here was amazing. Been here a few times now and I would say staff are very welcoming. Great selection of curries, kebabs, pizzas, burgers and traditional Chippy all under one roof!

The curry was beyond what I expected - absolutely delicious and still piping hot after 15 minute drive home. And I can say their chicken pakora is the best I have ever had. Portion sizes are big for both starter and main meal. Good menu which is clear yet varied.I had no complaints about the service.

The worse possible food I have ever eaten I ordered the mixed kebab the chicken tikka was undercooked and the sheesha was old also had a horrible smell would never order from here again. Wouldnt even give it one star but had to to write this post just to warn others. Wouldnt even feed this to my dog!

Ordered at 6.40 and told delivery 7.15-7.30. Called at 6.55 to add naan to the order and was told it was out for delivery already. No problem, but it didn’t arrive until 7.50 and was cold. Called and was told they could ‘come and collect and send a fresh one’ to which I replied ‘no thanks, we can reheat ourselves’ which is exactly what they did to us about 4 weeks ago, and took an hour to re-deliver, by which time the kids were starving! And when I told them I’d leave negative feedback because almost every order we’ve made has had some issue they just said ‘ok’.

HORRIBLE TAKEAWAY!! If i could give 0 stars i bloody would!!!!!!!! food was late,cold and just not what we asked for at all. We phoned up to 25 times for a refund which the manager laughed at us on the phone and told us we can get £2.75 back off nearly a £15 order...he shouted to us on the phone threatened us with the police and other things and told us we are not getting full refund or replacement of the food that we could not eat due to the condition it got delivered to us in. We have went here couple of times but thought this time would be different but they delivered food cold,soggy and tasteless. Tonight is time they have got our order wrong. On the third time I called them and they sent out a whole new order which I thought was reasonable. Unfortunately they still couldn't get it right despite me going over the order again. Very unprofessional. Won't be using them again.

It's been a staple on the high street for years! The food is good with a variety to choose from at either the Fish and Chip or the Indian takeaway counter! You can have your order delivered or walk-in for takeaway! If you cannot find something to tickle your fancy at the fish and chip bit then just walk across to the Indian takeaway counter!

Made to order fish and chips. I had a white pudding and the batter made it kind of rubbery so no idea what happened there other half had a king rib and a smoked sausage. Both of these were very nice. The chips were also ok and the experience very pleasant .

Went here for years normally talk to the same nice man on the phone. Tonight someone with no manners answered the phone and was very rude! Don’t think I’ll be back have now placed an order at Dinos. I did enjoy the food tho
