Hemos disfrutado el maravilloso pan y bollos de Jane y Craig durante un tiempo, maravillosamente hechos y deliciosos, con un servicio tan amable. Sin embargo, mi hija de 12 años y yo nos unimos recientemente a uno de sus cursos de panificación por primera vez y tuvimos un día maravilloso. Hicimos tantas golosinas y Craig y Jane fueron muy generosos con su tiempo, conocimiento y experiencia. Aprendimos mucho y trajimos a casa tantos panes y bollos diferentes, fue una excelente relación calidad-precio y nos ha dado una habilidad para toda la vida. ¡Gracias a los dos!

Nos encanta llamar a recoger golosinas y pan. Lo que tengas siempre es fantástico. No podemos seleccionar un solo producto porque todo lo que hemos probado ha sido perfecto. Sin embargo, los pasteles de carne picada que compramos este fin de semana están entre los mejores que hemos probado. Es un verdadero placer visitar la cocina donde se hacen los productos, Jane y Craig son muy hospitalarios y siempre hacen que nuestra visita sea una alegría. Hay un ambiente encantador en la cocina y vale la pena visitarlo, pero ten en cuenta que te irás con algo más que un pan encantador. !

Spent the day with Jane and Craig today learning all things baking. It was absolutely incredible. Jane and Chris are both amazing at what they do and made everyone feel so welcome They explained things in a simple but unpatronising way and it was just one of the best days! Mi esposa y yo (ambos panaderos novatos) asistimos recientemente a un curso de panificación en Knead It! panadería con los propietarios Craig y Jane, en su panadería artesanal en Tiddington. Bajo la excelente instrucción de Craig y Jane, elaboramos una variedad de productos de pan desde cero, desde una "simple" barra de pan hasta un delicioso lote de bollos de Chelsea y suntuoso pan de Focaccia. El curso de 1 día incluye el almuerzo (su propia pizza hecha - nuevamente hecha desde cero) ¡que estuvo delicioso! Wow! I first did this incredible course 5 years ago but I enjoyed it so much my wife paid for me to go again. It’s the ideal present for anyone. After a welcome tea or coffee, we made the dough for almost everything we would be baking. Jane & Craig make this so simple & it becomes rather infectious! Six people baked lots of goodies including pizza for lunch accompanied by lots of wine & soft drinks. We also made a white loaf, a red loaf (Red Leicester cheese, red onion & red chilli flakes), 8 or 9 Chelsea buns, Focaccia & some rolls that we platted together. Nothing is super fast & there was plenty of time for drinks. By the day’s end we had a bagful of food each & it can all be frozen if you wish. All the recipes, together with hints & tips are sent to your email address & they make themselves available for any questions you may think of. The confidence they give you opens up the whole world of baking & the first instinct is to recommend the course to someone else. If you think it is a vital life skill to be able to read, write & drive then you can add baking to the list! Craig & Jane ...... thank you!

My wife bought me the baking course as a birthday present. The whole day was great fun, very professionally run and I learnt so much. I now have the confidence to be more adventurous with baking. We were bought this bread making course by our daughters as a Christmas present. We did know what to expect but at the end of the day we were enthused about bread making, the products that we made and the course teachers Craig and Jane. This is a very small, village bakery that is open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays. It produces goods of such quality that locals know that queuing at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning ensures that you will get your pick of an excellent choice of breads, makes and pastries. The day started with introductions and coffee and we got straight down to a full day of baking, starting with a basic white bread dough from which we went onto make bread, red bread (with red onions, red Leicester cheese and chillies), Chelsea buns and bread rolls of varying designs. We also made pizza bases from this dough which we built upon with a wide variety of toppings for our lunch. In addition, we made Focaccia bread, which once again we decorated with a wide variety of toppings available. All through the day, we were offered coffee, tea, wine and some of the best flapjacks and brownies we have tasted. Not only did our hosts Craig and Jane make us feel very relaxed but they imparted their knowledge in a practical way so that we really had a full hands on experience of making each of the above bread based products. As they were produced, they were put onto our shelves for taking home. Anything that Craig produced was either eaten by those on the course or given away to anyone who wished to take it. In addition to the teaching, any ancillary questions were answered or discussed in more detail as they arose. The day flew by and was enjoyed by all 6 participants. We believe that the optimum number of participants is 8 per event, and they happen twice a month, although we understand that other days would be possible if sufficient numbers were interested. A truly memorable, inspiring and enjoyable day.

This is an excellent one day course that has super tuition whilst encouraging hands on approach. Things are explained with fun whilst ensuring the student gets the best results. Coffee, tea and wine were served along with ability to eat ones own pizza whilst other breads and goodies were baking happily away. First class.

A great bread making course in a wonderful setting run by Craig and Jane who really want to share their bread making passion. We learnt loads on the day, enjoyed our own pizza at lunch time and went home with a boot full of bread products inspired to improve our baking skills. I treated myself to a bread making day here at Knead it. From the moment of arrival I was made to feel welcomed, with a never ending supply of tea, coffee, soft drinks, wine and cakes throughout the day prepare to be spoilt rotten. The baking itself was fun and insightful, having made focaccia, rolls, a white loaf, red loaf and buns I learnt plenty throughout the day. For lunch we made pizza which was delicious. To top the day off our buns came out the oven in time for one more coffee before heading home. I can’t recommend this experience enough prepare to be engaged. Thank you Knead it what a lovely warm welcoming place you run xx

Given a baking course here as a Christmas gift. Went with a relative on Sunday. Such fun! Hosts are lovely, location is great, garden is beautiful, tuition is excellent. Yummy cakes at morning break time, made our own delicious pizza for lunch, served with wine too! My family really enjoying results of the days baking. I really should have taken along a much bigger box to bring home all the goodies I made.Thanks Craig and Jane!

We booked on to a one-day baking course at Knead It - an artisan bakery tucked down a side road just outside Stratford-upon-Avon. What a super day we had! Jane and Craig, the bakers, were our hosts and made the day great fun - and we also learnt a lot. From kneading the dough to fashioning fancy rolls, from preparing (and eating) delicious pizzas (with a glass or two of wine supplied by our hosts), to also managing to eat some of their fantastic flapjacks and brownies, the course took the mystique out - and put the fun in - making bread and other yeast-based goodies. It was a cosy and intimate setting (there are just 6 on each course) in a fascinating old cottage cum bakery.

A great wedding present which we enjoyed with Jane, Craig and a group of interesting and friendly people. We worked on a variety of bakes, had lunch relaxing and getting to know the rest of the participants and took home our creations to enjoy with family and friends. We have baked bread at home but the mix of practice and discussion was really helpful and enjoyable. If you are thinking of doing this - you definitely should!

My friend and I spent a wonderful day with Jane and Craig learning how to make different breads in their gorgeous, spotlessly clean kitchen. The whole day was relaxed and informative. Jane and Craig were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, kind and professional. We made pizzas which we ate for lunch, Chelsea buns which we ate with a cup of tea and also took home a variety of different loaves, rolls and focaccia which we made inbetween chatting, laughing and enjoying their lovely garden with coffee or wine. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. It is possible to buy vouchers for this day which makes a wonderful gift.

12 year old daughter and I spent the day learning about gluten and yeast and how to make them combine for optimal results. Drank tea, ate cake, made and ate pizza, drank wine and each took home three loaves, six bread roll hedgehogs and ten cinnamon rolls. We had the most wonderful time. Inspired to make bread. Loved the other bakers and Craig and Jane were as delightful as always. This is a trip highlight for sure.

Just spent a really interesting day with Jane and Craig (and five other intrepid fans of hand-made bread making). A day full of laughter, great baking smells, and really tasty bakery treats - not sure you can beat a freshly-baked, home-made Chelsea bun, straight out of the oven. Can't wait for next weekend and time to put what I have learnt into practice.

I've just spent a lovely day with Jane and Craig on their bread making course. The day just flew by and I leant so much. It's incredible how much we made, the pizza we made for lunch was delicious and the red bread, rolls, focaccia and loaf were all amazing. The Chelsea buns were fab and we came up with so many different variations to try at home. A brilliant day for complete novices through to those that already bake the occasional bread/pizza - thank you!

From start to finish this was a great experience. Craig and Jane make you feel welcome into their kitchen where the baking course takes place. It is an informal and informative day with time for coffee or tea in between the bread making challenges. You are taken through the whole process from making the dough and kneading by hand, proving and shaping the dough into whatever you wish to make and finally baking it in their ovens. The smells are fantastic, even better when you know you have made it yourself.

I was given a voucher for the Knead It Bakery bread making course as a Birthday gift and had no idea what to expect - but what a lovely surprise the day was! As an absolute beginner the instructions were so straightforward, led by Craig and Jane, so as well as being great fun you learn a lot to inspire you to come back home and try it out. The structure of the day is perfect and time flies by once the pizza has been consumed and the wine bottled has been opened! As well as coming home with a bag full of baked goods you left knowing that nothing would be too much trouble for Jane and Craig if we were passing again and wanted to ask a question or even borrow some yeast!

I've been buying the breads and cakes for a while then was booked onto the baking course as a gift, What a brilliant day. Now I can make some of my favourites. It would be hard for someone to take loads away from it whatever their level, not to mention all the goodies they will take away. But best of all was the welcoming and cheery atmosphere. I haven't laughed so much in ages. If you don't do the course at least buy the breads.

I absolutely love this bakery. My children and I visit all the time and they really look forward to seeing Jane and Craig. The bread and cakes are absolutely delicious. We prefer visiting on a Saturday as they have a bigger selection of amazing cakes. I'm glad they aren't open every day or I would be the size of a house. Can't rate them highly enough. We are very lucky to have them in the village.

Immaginatevi di entrare in una cucina di una incantevole casa dal tetto di paglia guidati da un odore di pane appena sfornato , accolti in modo cordiale da Jane e Craig , artefici della piu' strana panetteria artigianale di Tiddington la Knead it ( nomen omen), aperta solo 2 giorni alla settimana ( mercoledì e sabato) e piena di tentazioni , tutti i dolci sono artigianali e fatti da loro, produzione minima ( se arrivi tardi ....) ma puoi prenotare , dal pane tipo "Stratford" alle varie torte, non le elenco tutte perchè dovete andarci... ne vale la pena!

Me and my sister went here on a recent visit to Stratford, my sister has been ill and loves baking but unable to use her hands due to a accident so I thought this would be a lovely treat for her I contacted jane several times and explained about my sister and purchasing the goods I ask if we had to place an order but it wasn't necessary, being a Wednesday there would be plenty of bread and to be able to watch them bake. We got there 11.30am (9-4 opening times) what a disappointment not one single bread left but we had a few hours so I thought we could watch them make the bread and be able to take some away, I explained who I was but was told they had a rush on and sold out and weren't making any more that day as they had an appointment later I was bitterly disappointed for my sister who was so looking forward to it, I don't think this is a way to run a business at all !!

I only wish I lived closer, I would be there continually trying each amazing and delicious cake, along with the fabulous home made breads, that smell wonderful. We went in today and purchased bread and cakes, great prices for simply gorgeous food. Highly recommend everyone tries the chocolate brownie! We would love to sit and watch the baking all day long if we could!

My wife & I went on the Knead it bakery course a couple of weeks ago & found it wonderful from start to finish. Everything is organised, Craig & Jane have a very friendly, easy manner & nothing is rushed. We started off by making enough dough for almost everything we made, then went on to complete bread rolls, focaccia, cottage loaf, a red bread & Chelsea buns. We also did a pizza base that we ate for lunch with generous amounts of wine!!! We were able to take everything home & had to treat various neighbours to our baking because it needed to be enjoyed when fresh & we couldn't have managed all that. Ok - we had a great time & now know what to do to make fantastic bread & cakes; having said that, the working of the dough & changing textures made it one of the most relaxing things I have ever done! Change your life & book onto their course - you will be amazed!

We arrived at napton post office at 11.13am - then the shop assistant asked what could she get for me - I said sausage baguette 🥖 plzz - she said we stop serving at 11am but the sign above her head said sun 11.30 and there was a full tray of sausage's- there's always something with that woman- she's never happy 🙁

Wonderful service, lovely food, generous portions. We forgot our dog’s dinner, and bought a couple of sausages to keep her going - bless ‘em, they chopped them up into a bowl, added a couple of dog biscuits and brought them out first. So lovely ❤️

What a treat to visit this lovely cafe in such a tranquil, beautiful setting. A bustling cafe selling a mouth watering range of cakes and snacks. Well priced, comfortably set out with friendly, helpful staff. We’re looking forward to coming back!
