Very nice and friendly place, KS Burger was really good and a good size side portion of fries. Recommended. Ideal location

The co-owner / designer seated us and was very attentive. The Meat Lover burger I had was excellent. I must admit that I thought it was a little small but it packed a punch in terms or taste and satiety! Put another way - I’m quite a big eater but I didn’t feel as if I needed dessert after my burger. My wife had the veggie burger and whilst I would not have gone for that myself it was very tasty.

I like the Bear Pub in Marlborough as it is always lively, has an excellent range of drinks and has some real characters. But the Kitchen Sisters Restaurant at the front of the pub has added what was missing to this great pub...an interesting space to eat, with a decent taste in music; and a small well put together menu and outstanding food and service! There was just the two of us and we were looked after and fed brilliantly and had some excellent beers from the Bear Pub Bar. I cannot commend this small restaurant enough as it was outstanding. We will definitely be back......

We had lunch at Kitchen Sisters today and it was amazing. It is very rare that our family of five go out for lunch and everyone's needs are satisfied. The quality of food exceeded our expectations. There is no doubt this restaurant is Number 1 in Marlborough! We were in Marlborough on holiday and looked for a good restaurant to try and it certainly did not disappoint. The food was amazing, fresh and you can see a lot of care and attention had gone into the preparation and menu planning! The service was fabulous and the owner made us feel at home straight away. He was super knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on! I would definitely recommend and we certainly will be back!! :)

We recently visited for my sons birthday. Kitchen Sisters is somewhere we have always wanted to visit but for whatever reason never quite got around to it. The service was perfect. Lovely chap who gave his time for a chat and was very efficient with the service. I think the burgers were the best I have ever had. My wife is not a big meat eater but even she agreed! Most of all it it great to see somewhere producing lovely fresh food using local ingredients. There was real attention to detail. I loved the cauliflower bombs, make sure you try them if you visit!

This is easily the best vegetarian burger I've eaten. My family all agreed and were impressed that there were 2 excellent veggie options. Attention to detail in taste, appearance and service mean Kitchen Sisters deserve 5 stars. Communication regarding the booking was easy and speedy and we appreciated our lateness being accommodated. Stopped in Marlborough on our journey through and had a stroll around the town when we found this inviting place on the High Street. Only a few people in on a Friday night and service was extremely friendly and welcoming. We both had burgers which were excellent ( particularly the BBQ sauce !!) and the pudding was pretty good too.

This was my 4th visit to this fabulous restaurant at The Bear Hotel in Marlborough. I’m never disappointed with the friendly relaxed atmosphere as you walk in and the cool, rustic decor. Service is excellent at the front of house from Karl and compliments to the Chef Lesia. The food is impeccable and all sourced locally. 3 of us had the burgers, meat lover and pulled pork and 3 of us had stuffed mushroom salads including “Cauli bombs” which we’re out of this world! It all gets your taste buds dancing and so full of amazing flavour.

Although I live in Marlborough I had not heard of this place before, I stumbled across it here on Trip Advisor. Surprised by its rating I decided to try it last night.It didn't disappoint, Carl is an amazing front man, courteous with a hint of Welsh fun!!His other half produced the most spectacular burgers and chips. I had the pulled pork which I highly recommend. Great place, great food, great vibe and great couple running the show. I will 100% be back.

My wife and I cycled from swindon (30 mile round trip) and decided to visit Kitchen Sisters for lunch. We booked a table online the night before to ensure we were not dissapointed. Word of advice check your spam email folder for the response as that is where mine went. I will alter my setting for future bookings. We were greeted instantly as we walked in by a frienly gentleman and shown to our table and told someone would come and take our drinks order, which was done very promptly and efficiently by an equally friendly lady.We ordered the meat lover and the KS burger with fries and an additional side of KS pickle. The burgers were well cooked and well seasoned. The slow cooked pork with the meat lover burger was outstanding. Often slow cooked or pulled pork flatters to decieve but not in this case. The KS pickle was very nice and cut well through the richness of the burgers. My wife had the eaton mess for dessert which both she and I enjoyed.In short we will definately be back and have promised the kids we will take them.

We visited kitchen sisters due to being in the area for work and called ahead for take away service. We arrived to a lovely warm welcome within a cosy pub. We ordered a couple of ks burgers and a couple of chicken burgers and fries, which were served to us super fresh and hot. Beautifully packaged in sturdy eco friendly cardboard boxes. The burgers were exceptional, really, really tasty. If we end up in Marlborough again I'll definitely be making my way there for lunch or dinner!

Visited Kitchen Sisters on the 23/08 for a gourmet burger, the staff were really friendly and accommodating, the food was incredible and very reasonably priced. I would fully recommend this establishment to eat at.

This was the first time we had ventured out after Lockdown - we were both pretty wary of being in the outside World again. We were made very welcome on arrival and felt totally safe in the restaurant. The Burger and fries (sea salt and rosemary) were delicious, as was the ice cream and strawberries for afters! Service was very good in nice surroundings - well worth a visit!

The food here is absolutely great, we couldn't fault it. A reduced menu as the first day of opening following restrictions with Covid-19. Friendly service and did not feel cramped in with the distancing rules. We would definitely recommend!

The burgers here were absolutely brilliant, lots of really nice sounding choices on the menu, and it was great that we were able to choose half and half of two different flavours. The chips were really great too and had a lovely seasoning. The staff were friendly. It was a shame though that the door kept getting left open which made our seats a bit cold. Only a minor issue though as it wasn’t for too long each time!

Enjoyed our lunch, but didn't think that our experience was quite as good as those in the other reviews.Burger was fine, but the fries were not that exciting and having to go to the bar to order drinks, and then wait a long time to be served slightly spoiled the experience. The dining room is tastefully decorated and our lunch was pleasant enough, but wouldn't rush back.

On way back from South Wales to London - decided to stop half way in Marlborough. Easy to park in main street and Kitchen Sisters at The Bear was fantastic. Had the gorgeous KS Burger. They make their own bread - so you know they truly care about quality and experience. Lovely people. Will certainly get off the M4 and return to Kitchen Sisters.

The heading means ......that is great news and our first visit wasn't just a lucky strike!! We were re-visiting Marlborough as we intend to move there and wondered whether we were just lucky last time, but it is like being treated as part of the family?? Owners daughter was there doing her homework (I did offer help as a Maths' Teacher......retired, but she is clearly very bright!!) and soon, the delightful couple who have put this together, plus waitress were sitting by us telling us how it all began......a wonderful evening; great burgers again and they are slowly getting everything together with a few desserts and hopefully soon, starters as they become more established? We were then given a couple of their home-made burger buns to have with my cheese back at the Hotel......now that's what I call great service and we will definitely return and hopefully become regulars when the move happens!! We had a great all round experience and was the perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The burger was delicious and accompanied by a really tasty selection of salad, especially the beetroot. We asked about the bread buns and are very impressed they are made in-house as were the chips.You can tell the difference! These burgers are on the same level as schwaartz burgers in Bath, which I very much enjoy, but they only do takeaway. Just had the best meal here. I went for the Naked burger and my partner the KS burger. It did NOT disappoint l. Absolutley delicious, fresh ingredients and so so tasty. The seasonal veg with the Naked Burger was to die for. The chips were also 10 out of 10. We shared a pudding as we were SO full, that too was full of flavour. Our experience was just lovely. We were looked after extremely well and the chap who served us was incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough! He also took a shine to our dog which is always a bonus! Will definitely be returning!!

Me and a mate popped in for lunch on Monday , was quiet but very cosy , the front of house manager seemed very polite and welcoming and the food was just as good , we split the half and half burger and they were both as good as each other , I’d definitely recommend for lunch or dinner !!!

Came to the Bear as we had two dogs with us on a Saturday night and they have a lovely family room, with wooden floors and nice and bright. We hadn't realised as new to Marlborough, that they had just taken over the food side of the pub 3 days ago, from being based in another pub over the way. They could not have been more helpful!! Listened to the fact that we didn't want to be rushed and where nicely chatty, without being intrusive. We had travelled to see an old mate to see if moving to the town was a good move, and if this is the standard of food and service, then the answer is yes! What we had, was 5* food and service, although was a little disappointing that there were no starters because of this early take-over - just a range of incredibly good burgers (beef; chicken and veggies)that we will definitely return to on our next visit.........and yes, we are going to move there!!

Arrived at Kitchen Sisters having booked a table and was greeted and seated by a jovial Welshman. Menus arrived promptly, choices made as promptly and drinks ordered. Restaurant was busy but service was friendly and swift. One of my friends and I went for the KS Burger and the other had the Chicken Burger...magnificient!! Tasty, succulent and the chips AMAZING. On to puds...3 Eton Messes - scrumptious! Our bill with 3 burgers, two sides, 3 puds and 7 G&Ts; later was £106.00, well worth every penny and we will be back. Thank you so much!

Took my daughter for lunch here for first time, despite living only few minutes walk away. The staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious. I recommend the Two Cocks beer they have too. Bun and chips obviously freshly made. Meat cooked perfectly. Out of desperation, I was forced to have a BigMac few weeks back and the difference in quality couldn’t have been more pronounced. Kitchen Sisters burger made the taste of the BigMac comparable to chewing my own slippers.

Had lunch at the Kitchen Sisters today - half and half veggie and chicken burgers, potato skin fries and homemade slaw, every mouthful was D E L I C I O U S! Having heard good things from friends and FB we finally crossed the border from Devizes and visited KS!

We visited after the Circus matinee and we found a fairly busy restaurant despite it being early. A drinks order was taken ( a drinks menu would have been useful) - the boys were impressed with the local ale and the local apple juice was as lovely as promised. The burgers and fries are fantastic. The only negative is that the pulled pork is just that In a burger bun so very messy to eat (delicious though) We asked if Icecream only was a pudding option for the two children and they rustled this up as it wasn’t on the menu. Our only dissapointed was that hot drinks aren’t served and especially as we all had a long drive back it would have been welcomed. Great place thought with lovely staff we would return.
