This is insane. £7.00 for this huge plate of 6 pieces of cheese. It's not worth the price.

I went this afternoon around 4:30pm, with 2 friends. There was plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. However, the lady that greeted us was rather rude. She looked us up and down and proceeded to tell us that if we don't have a booking we need to leave, as there won't be availability until tomorrow. The group before us didn't have a reservation either but they were seated immediately. I can't help but think she just wasn't comfortable with 3 men coming in together after work. We probably won't return after this.

Had a fantastic breakfast here! We all enjoyed it! Food was cooked fresh and to our liking. The continental breakfast was also fresh and new produce was out once is was nearly empty.

We came in for our son's birthday yesterday drinks were good staff ok. My son had a burger who later said wasn't very nice and had stomachache on the way home not long after we got home he started to be sick he was fine up until having the burger. My burger was a bit pink inside didn't think anything of it at the time the portion size didn't match the prices either we won't be going back

Will not return. Red wine served cold, had to purchase a more expensive bottle to get room temperature. Wrong order was given, waitress insisted it was right showing me the notepad with it showing plate they served written down, clearly was not listening as this was not what was ordered. Accepted the wrong dish as it was something my child would eat anyway and had already been waiting a long time for food. Pork ribs arrived cold. Another dish was well over done could not even cut it up. Fish was rubbery and chewy, would not recommend at all, there food prices are high considering their substantially low quality food it certainly matched to their non existent customer service skills, would be nice to have staff which made you feel welcome and painted a smile on there face but service was cold much like the food. Not once we're we asked if the food was ok whilst eating, which is usually standard in a restaurant is it not? Save yourself some pennies and go to McDonald's across the road

I’ll start off by stating that I used to work here 2 years ago. I went in for a drink in the afternoon and got served by one of my old managers. I won’t name names. He didn’t check my ID because he knows how old I am. I’m also covered in very visible tattoos might I add - Including my hands, face and neck. Anyway, left and came back in the evening. A new staff member whom doesn’t know me asked for ID. Fine. That’s her job, no problem at all. I didn’t have any on me because I never need it and I lost it a year ago. I politely told her to get the manager as he knows me and how old I am. To which he then refused me service. Because I didn’t have ID. Though he did serve me earlier that day. Doesn’t really make sense. I could go on all day about this place. The food, the poor management and service, the lack of care and attention… Just avoid it. There are better places to go for food and drinks. Don’t waste your time or money. To that manager, do better. :)

Took my parents here for a drink on there anniversary but because we wasn't eating had no seats available and my father struggles on his feet in my opinion there is not enough seating for people wanting to just have a drink

Family of 4 adults celebrating a birthday. Ordered the Sea bass, Burger, Chicken Burger and Gammon. The first 3 meals came out together, The Sea Bass was hot but the rest of that meal was lukewarm. The Burger was the same, chips were the warmest. The Chicken Burger was also lukewarm and the bread roll was a bit over toasted, not quality Chicken! When the Gammon FINALLY arrived, two people had already finished their meal. The whole of the Gammon meal was barely warm and the peas were all dried out. The lady that brought the meal apologized for the delay saying it had been left under the heat lamps!! Because of that and the fact the rest of the meals weren't very warm means I/we will not be returning to the Kingswood. The staff were nice enough, we were greeted and seated quickly. The lady came for our drink order promptly, the same with a different lady for our food order. It's purely the fact that the food wasn't very warm and one meal was very late. Not good enough

We visited on a Monday afrernoon was quiet inside but busy outside went inside to eat and were quickly shown to our table after ordering a drink at the bar staff very freindly but clearly rushed off their feet we explained we were in no rush and was happy to let thwm serve other customers that We could see were becoming in patient with one bar staff and 2 waiting staff were clearly all helping each other the when they could food was very good and served in good time considering the obvious staff shortage we enjoyed our visit nice food seabass and vegetatian lasagne nice starters and a nice few pints of worthingtons perhaps management could put more waitjng / bar staff on especialy when they have special offers on as it spoils a visit watching staff struggle to keep up with the demand but not for the want of trying . Would visit again.

He was just unnecessary dismissive and rude. The least he could do was apologise instead of the blatant lies. It just made eating here uncomfortable. Nice staff, lovely clean pub. Sometimes the drinkers get a bit noisy.

We've been eating at the Beefeater Kingswood for several years now, at least 3 or 4 times a year. It's one of our favourites because we enjoy the style of food and it's not an expensive place to eat. Personally, we really like the meat options, and I especially enjoy the steak and gammon. The service is generally very good. On the negative side, sometimes the meat isn't cooked exactly as requested. We also had a poor experience during our Christmas meal when they forgot to serve our dessert. Our time at the table ended, and we were moved to the pub area so we could have it. Despite this, we won't stop going, and I would recommend it.

We had dinner here whilst staying at the Premier Inn for the weekend. We were being served by a young man called Scott who was very friendly, polite and helpful. He always smiled whilst serving us. Wanted to give him a tip but didn’t know how to. The food was fab. We had the crumble which was warm but a perfect temperature as normally it’s too hot to eat Good value for money. The only bad point was on arrival and e were greeted by a lady who had a bit of an attitude and didn’t smile atall. Quite rude really

unfortunately, my burger was cold and my coleslaw was warm some how the chef got these the wrong way round. I knew something wasn't right and found later that I was right. I expected better and won't return in a hurry.

Had a lovely meal at a Beefeater kingswood! Went for a catch-up with a friend and we was extremely impressed with not just the food but the service. Lovely atmosphere and value for money, I wish I would have got the name of the lovely lady who served us as she was brilliant! Will definitely be having our catch-ups there in the future.

Food was what you expect pub grub. Service what you expect bare minimum to make the business work. The atmosphere was average alright playlist and buzz about the place.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family members. The food was very good. Service first class even though the restaurant was busy. Our waiter was extremely efficient (maybe called Taylor?) and covered many tables on his own. We go to Beefeater on a regular basis. The one downside is always running out of roast options early in the day. Otherwise spot on!

Nothing was cooked properly. My corn on the cob was served cold, and the fish was nothing but batter.

This was one of my go-to spots after work quite a few years ago, but I haven’t been in quite a while. Fancied coming here to see if anything had changed since I last ate here and it was incredible! It was a last minute decision so we hadn’t booked. The initial wait for our table was quick, and the waitress who looked after us, Kate, was incredibly welcoming and sat us down, took our drink order. Drinks came really fast, even though she was looking after other tables as well! The food was fantastic and the burger I had hit the spot. After we’d eaten, we were offered desserts and Kate recommended I tried the ice cream with my chocolate torte which was delicious, the vanilla, chocolate and raspberry combo was unreal. Overall, was a great experience and top tier customer service from Kate. A very friendly face and an absolute asset to your team. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience, I’ll be sure to be making some more spontaneous burger/beer trips after work. 🍔 🍻

Was always cheery and quite good in years gone by, but our recent visit was not a good experience at all. Firstly the table was not that clean, with sticky rings from pint glasses etc. The potato skins as a starter were just oven chips covered in cheese and a few other bits. The mains of gammon and chunky chips was awful. Fatty, chewy meat combined with minimal oven chips that weren't particularly chunky made us both wish we'd gone somewhere else. Never again.

I am a regular, come back because of the value of food and the atmosphere. Because we have the rewards card we get regular vouchers. Today was perfect couldn’t fault, the staff were very attentive made sure everything was ok. We even had a laugh regarding the shadow puppets. Value for money and always great for date night.

I really enjoy eating here. The service depends on the amount of customers that are there at the time, sometimes you can wait a little longer... maybe employ more staff? Never had a bad meal yet 10/10

Whatever you do, do not get the ultimate Sunday lunch, totally change you was got lamb half chicken beef, you now get packet turkey dry gammon and beef you can use as shoe leather, the vegetables you wouldn't serve in prison wow never going for Sunday lunch again.also took 2 hours in total probably best not to run a restaurant with 2/3 staff

-very overpriced, low quality food. Everything not fresh tasting and freezer-like. I order haddock and it tasted like it was still swimming, the halumi bites were strangely squeaky. Not good. The seats were very unclean and had stains all over them.

Was served by Olivia, over 2 nights while staying at premier inn and could not fault her! She was on top of everything even though we dined as a bigger party. Nothing was too much to ask and lovely personality! Hoping to be served by her when we next return!

Ordered off the weekday lunch menu. The food was nice enough, with portions that you would expect of a lunch menu, which was enough for us. Our server, Jessica, was excellent.

We come as a family of 3. Seated on table and first impressions? When have these seats been cleaned?? I said to my wife I am not sure my dog will jump on it. Food wise? Bland, over-hyped. Small portions compared to value. Pizza for children? Iceland frozen for £1 for 100% . Even wetherspoon could make it better for half of that price .Good service and Nothing really to be positive about other. Not recommended unfortunately. 1 only for service.

Excellent customer service today didn't get his name but was great with our 2 kids. Food was hot and fresh l, kids eat free under 16 which was a delight! 21.98 all you can eat hot and cold buffet for 2 adults and 2 children.....can't go wrong! Set us up for the day

First time for us trying beefeaters, heard lots of good things about it from friends ect so thought we would give it a go!! NEVER AGAIN…🤢 Eggs where like rubber, scrambled eggs had egg shells in, bacon and beans taste like Asda essentials and the toast was just dry.. sausages where okay tho😂 1/10 first and last visit for us thanks

We were staying at the Premier Inn and booked breakfast for the morning of 28th December. When we arrived the welcome was non existent to the point of the lady being really bored. The self-service breakfast hot buffet was cold. One of the stack of plates for the buffet which was cold was covered in congealed egg. I told a completely uninterested waitress who wasn't a bit interested. Having eaten a cold everything I decided to try a croissant which was ok but the butter pats were frozen solid. We've stayed at Premier Inn Kingswood many times and we're very saddened to see how standards at the Beefeater restaurant had dropped.

Ordered a few starters as we werent overly hungry not worth the money in my opinion, halloumi fries were thin and overdone, calamari was okay nothing special and chicken wings were okay, the loaded fries were also not as expected just some nacho cheese on it wouldnt quite call it loaded fries our server didnt break one smile or ask how our food was after receiving it, we didnt get approached until almost 20 minutes after we had finished eating waiting to ask for the bill, got the bill no asking if the food was okay or a have a nice day we just paid she walked away! not a great experience this time

Staff where nice. But you do get what you pay for. £25 for 3 course meals. Main course, was cold in places, turkey dinner, potatoes and carrot were hard and tasteless. One photo was brown inside.

Food was lovely but a child in our party accidentally dropped a yoghurt. Her father apologised but staff were extremely rude. Three of them continuing to rant after thinking we had left the building. How intolerant of young children. They also suggested that we should have cleaned it up. We were all dressed to go on to other family engagements so crawling on our hands and knees was not an option. Won't be going there again.

Great experience! Started by being showed to our table by the lovely Jess, who couldn’t have been any nicer! We ordered refillable soft drinks and as soon as we had finished one we had fresh ones on our table! Food was delicious and didn’t have to wait too long which is always a bonus. Read the small print!! They boldly advertise money off vouchers like crazy. But be careful to read the tiny terms and conditions. We spent £60 for the 2 of us on the festive menu, with a 33% discount voucher that was not accepted, only applies on the main menu. Won't be spending another penny in this place, not after feeling as though we've been ripped off.

Very disappointed Staying in the premier inn I include breakfast, so in the morning went into the beefeater stood waiting for 5/8 minutes staff busy not a problem. Until I was greeted by a very annoyed waitress could see I had paid for my breakfast but hadn’t booked a time as was unaware this would be a problem , until I was told you have to book after a minute huffing and puffing and flicking through 2 peace’s of paper I took that as I wasn’t welcome. At this point I said don’t worry I’ll won’t bother , to which I got a shouty reply with I huff I can sit you down if you want . Not really the welcome you’d expect. I appreciate the staff are busy but that’s not my fault and as I’d pre paid for my breakfast and knew I was booked . Treat people correctly not as a nuisance . I work all over the country and this is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had . Shame as I didn’t mind this place

Like all the restaurants in the chain. Very English and unhealthy food but you know what you get. The tables for two people were too small and some were a bit sticky. The portions were correct and tasted like what they were supposed to taste like. The waiting time was too long one of the days.

Absolutely shocking customer service by Jess and her colleague. I had a free voucher for a steak, and was told they'd ran out and refused to offer any other meal as a substitute, or a free drinks, pudding or discount. A serious can't do attitude. I've never encountered such unwillingness to meet a customer half way.

Went for a Sunday lunch, ordered off their new Xmas menu, so hoping to return in a large party in December, but overpriced at 2 courses for £20.95 and quality not that good. Two of the veg undercooked, especially sprouts(rock hard).The main bugbear was they seemed to have forgotten our "mains", as other tables got theirs beforehand. Mains arrived 35 mins after starters. Same happened on the desserts. Spent over £200, wish we'd gone somewhere where they have more pride in their service.

the worst meal ive ever had sirloin steak at least a third of it was fat the chips was nice we got the evening deal 2 courses plus a drink for £18.99 + £2 extra for sirloin + £1.99 for sauce i got the sauce my wife didnt should have been £43 but came out £10 more they added VAT ON Should have been included waste of money wont go again

Booked a table for the breakfast buffet. Was not disappointed at all. Such a large range of breakfast foods and all you can eat. Food was lovely. Make sure you book though on a weekend as we got turned away twice at the door just turning up due to being fully booked.

Cheap and cheerful £10 per adult kids under 16 free all you can eat English breakfast or continental breakfast unlimited coffee ext we love it like I said cheap and cheerful if you can't be arsed too cook lol 😋

Been coming here for a while but recently the service has not been very good with young staff just standing round and seemingly not interested at all, however we came in this evening and had an enjoyable meal with fantastic customer service and such friendly atmosphere, so nice to see competence staff enjoying their shift, thankyou to Gemma and everyone who was on this evening

I eat at Beefeater at least once a week, the food is always amazing with good quality products. The staff are amazing always go the extra mile, the team Kayleigh, Julia and Jess have excellent customer service and can’t do enough for you Well done girls 👍

Never again will i come here again got steak pie and chips looked like a starter waited about an hour for it to arrive clearly use microwaves for everything. my daughters ice-cream was sour looked so busy knew the food would be poor pay £15 for a meal and walk out hungry.

We have been coming to Beefeater Kingswood (and when it was different breweries) for the past 20 years and are regular customers, visiting at least monthly for a meal. We booked a table tonight and arrived at the time booked. When we arrived, the man who greeted us, apologised as our table wasn't ready and asked if we could wait in the bar. This wasn't a problem - we ordered drinks and he cleaned and set up the table quickly. We sat at the table and waited 10 minutes. The server then came to us and asked if we were ready to order. As we hadn't been offered a menu we pointed this out and they eventually were passed to us - another five minutes. At this point, we weren't asked if there were any people with any allergies. My son has a severe nut allergy - fortunately he usually orders the same thing and knows what is safe but this shouldn't be left to chance and should be checked We ordered our meals asking for some slight modifications - things that we had asked for before on previous visits. After 45 minutes of waiting, I finally caught the attention of a waitress and asked how much longer the meals would take and if we could order some more drinks. She went to check the screen and told us it wouldn't be long. Then another server (the one who took our order) asked again for what drinks we wanted. Five minutes later, the food finally arrived. My wife asked for her side salad without sweetcorn when she ordered and this came with an abundance of sweetcorn. Unfortunately, sweetcorn is something that can cause allergies so this should have been treated much more carefully. I had ordered fish and chips. The batter for the fish was almost white and very undercooked. At this point, we said we were cancelling the order and would pay for our drinks. My children, by this point, were absolutely famished and very annoyed that they would have to wait further to have a meal at home. It took another five minutes for them to come so that we could pay for the drinks - a minor thing but we were charged for the drinks that we hadn't even touched which we were going to have with our meal. We usually have a great experience at this pub but tonight really has put us off. It wasn't overly busy with it being a Thursday evening, we hadn't ordered anything too difficult (without sauce on a burger etc) and it took nearly an hour to come, when it did come it was inedible and then we were charged for drinks we had to leave. A family of five with a baby and we felt extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be going again for an evening meal. Such a shame after 20 years of our custom.

After 45 minutes of waiting, I finally caught the attention of a waitress and asked how much longer the meals would take and if we could order some more drinks. She went to check the screen and told us it wouldn't be long. Then another server (the one who took our order) asked again for what drinks we wanted. Five minutes later, the food finally arrived. My wife asked for her side salad without sweetcorn when she ordered and this came with an abundance of sweetcorn. Unfortunately, sweetcorn is something that can cause allergies so this should have been treated much more carefully. I had ordered fish and chips. The batter for the fish was almost white and very undercooked. At this point, we said we were cancelling the order and would pay for our drinks. My children, by this point, were absolutely famished and very annoyed that they would have to wait further to have a meal at home. It took another five minutes for them to come so that we could pay for the drinks - a minor thing but we were charged for the drinks that we hadn't even touched which we were going to have with our meal. We usually have a great experience at this pub ut tonight really has put us off. It wasn't overly busy with it being a Thursday evening, we hadn't ordered anything too difficult (without sauce on a burger etc) and it took nearly an hour to come, when it did come it was inedible and then we were charged for drinks we had to leave. A family of five with a baby and we felt extremely disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be going again for an evening meal. Such a shame after 20 years of our custom.

Got better, food much better wider variety than there used to be. Service has got better aswell, all table service which is nice. Can get busy on a lunch time if you turn

Just been for breakfast with the family. Good choice of food and all you can eat. It was busy but we never had to wait for anything.
