We come here average once a month- usually all good. Today Better! Not only service good, polite waitress, food lovely, but today got discount too! Tax equality day- 7.5% Add to that the kids are back at school- So thank you Wetherspoons!

A typical Wetherspoons cheap and cheerful. For what we paid the meals were more than acceptable. we ordered Fish and Chips and A big breakfast. A good selection of cask ales between a third and half the price of most pubs. The downside we waited ages at the bar for our order to be taken

For breakfast all cold the only thing that was warm was a plate Ask for well done eggs didn't get well done eggs The toast look like it just come out of the bread bag It's a shame Certainly opposite to the five stars I gave a couple of weeks ago in North London Quality of food should be Good It doesn't take much to warm bacon and keep it But it was all cold I'm not even the correct order I did tell the staff member But he just said Sorry

Me and a friend came for a meal today I will not be coming back my friend had fish and jacket potato which was cold. I order a cheese and bacon burger which arrived in 2 mins was sent back as no cheese and bacon. When my fiid was brought back the bacon was cold and also the cheese very disappointed

Be aware on the prices in the menu. Over charged for two burgers and a bottle of wine. The burgers where the worst I have ever tasted. Will not be going back, will try the new Wendys in Kingston

My Wife and I both went Friday and it was exceptionally busy. Staff were absolutely delightful, I spoke with Beth and also another blonde girl that were super helpful. Drinks came out rapidly especially considering how busy it was (it is after all opposite a nightclub so this is understandable). The options of burger was great and we both got what we wanted and it all came out fairly quickly. I do not understand the poor reviews. Friday and Saturday nights are going to be busy with its location in mind. See you next weekend.

Had to write another review, as my last was very negative, came in for breakfast on the 15/02/24. Food was fast coming out, food was cooked perfectly, the bar staff were very friendly, the floor staff also incredibly friendly, maximum points, KingsTun is completely redeemed, keep up the good work:)

Decided to visit as staying in Kingston having been to many Weatherspoons. Friday night was busy sat upstairs generally clean tables although staff would walk past tables with dirty glasses on empty handed . Ordered guest ale which was only on in the downstairs bar which meant staff member had to leave bar to go & collect not sure best use of time from a profitable perspective. Would re visit if in area hopefully Pub Manager or Area Manager looks at reviews & addresses issues to ensure core principles are being adhered to & implemented

Very rude attitude from management, asked a question and was barked at, then witnessed a staff member dealing with a huge pile of sewage in the alley on the side of the pub, this is very bad management, this is toxic waste and requires special training, she then ent back on bar and kitchen afterwards, since the Covid you’d think hygiene would be important, but clearly not in the Kings Tun

After experiencing this bar staff member on at least 3-4 occasions I just had to bring this to the managers attention. Visited the upstairs bar Thursday 21st around 5pm. Lady in question is early 20’s wears a black/grey head band. This lady has chosen the wrong industry. No welcome. Just looks at you. I order she just puts the drink in front of you points to the card machine. She can manage to process your order without saying one word. In a society where people carefully think where they will spend their hard earned cash this lady will damage this business.

Came for breakfast with my family as its a nice little treat, everyone's breakfast came and when mine came out it was cold so sent it back had to wait another 15mins for them to bring my breakfast back when they came out the breakfast was still cold no checkbacks on the food.

We ate at this pub 4 times and each time the food was great. Me, my wife, our 2 kids, ages 13 & 11, my mother & father, plus my wife's mother & father all enjoyed each meal. On our first visit, my 2 sons & I all ate curry, chicken tikka + garlic nann was delicious. My mother & wife had chicken with melted cheese + BBQ sauce, again very well cooked. On our 2nd visit, I had the spicy chicken in naga sauce, Be warned, it's HOT. loved it! All the other meals were great. 3rd visit I had chicken jalfrezi, amazing flavour. one our final visit I could not resist having the beef madras, again wow what a great curry....YES, I LOVE INDIAN FOOD! And for the price + a free pint of over 100 drinks to pick from, a pint of Old Rosie perfect home memory for me. Be aware they it dose get extremely noise and busy at weekends. Kids are not allowed after 9pm.

Today for 3rd visit running, No Vegan Chilli at 1 o’clock. So disappointed it is my favourite and I’m assuming it is quite popular in order for them to run out so often. Please order in more!!!!!!!!

The Kings Tun is a typical Wetherspoon's. It offers good value for money on both food and drinks. The meals are average. The service at the bar was slow and it lacked any ambience. Even at lunch time there seemed to be several customers the worse for wear from alcohol. The quietest area is the raised section with tables to the right of the bar. All round OK if you just want a quick more inexpensive meal in the centre of Kingston Upon Thames

I am a mentally ill army veteran, who fought in Afghanistan. I was refused entry, even though I had an assistant dog with documentation to prove my dog was an assistant dog. The guy who refused me was obviously the duty manager and very young. He even said to me “you are not blind” Disgusting discrimination from weatherspoons

Came before a huge gig at Prysm for a pint and then a curry and wine after gig. Two floors packed but ordered wine and curry from the app. Arrived in good time and curry delicious, what’s not too like?

Saturday evening 26th November and we visited this branch of "Spoons" for a pre dinner drink. We tried to enter by the side entrance, off Nipper Alley, we were told by two of the doormen (Bouncers) to use the main entrance. Which we did having got our way through the throng of people outside smoking and the line of youngsters having their ages checked, before entering. It was rather busy, England were playing a World Cup match which was been shown in the pub. We did find a table to sit at, one of the tall rounds near the bar. We had just sat down and a member of staff was over and she wiped down the table for us. As there was a bit of a queue at the bar we decided to place our order via the App. We ordered our two drinks which came to £4.69 for them both, amazing value. They did take a little bit of time before they were unceremoniously plonked on the table in front of us. We decided to order another drink before going for dinner again we ordered via the App and our order time was 20.21 and we waited and waited. According to the App delivery time was 3 minutes from ordering. We did stop a member of staff, who appeared to be in charge, and asked why was it taking so long we were told "we are busy". Our drinks arrived at 20.38, which was seventeen minutes after ordering. This is a vast pub, which many years ago was a furniture store, we found it to be rather characterless. There were a large number slot machines around the Pub. From what we could see there were at least 6 bouncers on duty at the time of our visit.

Wetherspoons is normaly a haven for people with real ale tastes or people on a budget Kingston however crushes these aspirations with poor staffing levels which are peaked by the manager, who tried to palm me off by topping up a half pint that was already sitting on the bar for a time that could have been for ever. When I pointed this out and asked for a fresh pint, his hackles raised up and all I got was attitude. This is the worse Wetherspoons within miles, as the staff are sparse and the management mediocre

I did have the pleasure of visiting this establishment with friends and family and the staff to be attentive and quick. They have a wide selection of drink but if it's still there try the mad squirrel it's a pilsner that is very refreshing. The staff are especially friendly and helpful but find it hard to take a compliment. If by chance the drink has run out they are apologetic but will offer an alternative. Food is good and flavour full (try the curries). The pub is family friendly.

A good place to stop off if visiting Kingston for a value standard lunch and cheap beer. The standard Wetherspoons formula. Good quick service. If you like a quieter area to eat go upstairs.

I visited yesterday evening (10/12/2021) for drinks and food with my colleagues. We had been ordering drinks from the bar upstairs as the online menu didn’t have all the drinks that were actually available on it. The servers were clearly rushed as it was very busy, service was slow. We constantly had to remind servers what we ordered that we had already paid for. After we had food, I went to order more drinks for myself and colleagues, I asked the guy at the bar for 8 tequila shots and some other drinks. we had previously been ordering tequila’s no issue, when they were ready along with the 8 lime slices I requested, my colleague took the tray of shots downstairs to our table and I stayed waiting for the rest of our order. My colleague came back and said some of them had drank the shots together, but it was not tequila, it was sambuca, so I explained to the guy who made my order the mistake. He then brought over a bottle of tequila and said ‘well this is what I poured in there’ and walked away, a lady approached him they spoke briefly and she came over to us, she asked what happened and we asked for the manager, she then told us she was so we explained to her, thinking that she would be able to help, instead she said to us ‘my colleague said you ordered sambuca and now you to change it when you have already had 3 of them, clearly you knew it wasn’t tequila’ I said ‘he knows I ordered tequila and he gave us sambuca by mistake he just came over and showed me the tequila bottle and this isn’t tequila’ she argued with me and said ‘my other colleague heard you order sambuca as well’ there were no other colleagues there when I had ordered and there were at least 20 people queuing behind me. She also said ‘you would’ve known it was sambuca after drinking the first shot’ so I explained to this manager that sometimes people drink shots together, which I don’t believe is a new concept. So after realising that she was trying to avoid fixing our order or give a refund I walked over to the guy who made the order and said ‘could you tell your manager the truth please because you know what I ordered and clearly it’s a mistake’ he said ok. The manager then accused me of shouting at her colleague, when I told her to ask him about it again in front of me she refused. I asked her for her name which she refused to give me stating ‘you can put a date and a time if you’re going to make a complaint’ and then called security on me lying and saying I was shouting and being rude to her staff, she even accused me of spitting at her when I was explaining the mistake. The security guard, who did give me his name Roland was very understanding and even apologetic about the situation but asked us all to leave when we finished our drinks. Manager is outrageous, service is absolutely appalling and we will contact our banks for the refund.

Ive been to many weatherspoons to eat and food has generally been decent however the weatherspoons im kingston was terrible. I orderes chicken which came with the edges burnt to a crisp and the chef clearly tried to hide this by cutting most the skin off, it looked terrible and was so dry. Unfortunately I wont be returning here to eat again.

Just popped in for a quick drink and ended up having a few more and a selection from the meal menu. The lady who served us, Jess R was amazing, will be coming back again.

Went to spoons to have some food and some drinks just to start tables were dirty and left over rubbish On tables I ordered a mixed grill that was not even edible every cut of meat was over cooked and burnt even the steak was well done and I didn’t get the option to how I would like it Cooked.I was told there were no burgers no steaks so couldn’t order anything from the menu I was felt forced to have the mixed grill as there was no other meat/beef option and to top it off even though the food was well done it still was cold lol .clearly not enough staff or staff with correct training in the kitchen and felt like the menu was limited

Well spaced, friendly staff who seemed genuinely interested in whether we enjoyed the food. Prompt service of hot food, which was well presented and tasted good.

Always have lunch here whenever we visit Kingston apon Thames, cheap & Cheerful, great staff really friendly, polite and hardworking.We had 4 coffee's, a large rose wine, Hallumi Wrap with Chips, Large Fish & Chips, Hallumi Fries, Spicy Chicken Bites, King Prawns 2 tips, apple crumble with ice cream, 2 x cookie sandwich with icecream all came to £33 very enjoyable meal with a good atmosphere. Our only negative was tables need to be cleaned more often but they may have been busy.

Unfortunately our drinks were spilt and Tariq replaced them with no question, really good customer service, always had a smile on his face. Thank you so much and I look forward to coming back to see his wonderful smile 😊

An absolute shambles!4 adults and 3 kids ordered breakfast. Got told that they can’t do fried eggs only scrambled. Not sure why that happens. Finally breakfast came and one of the breakfasts had no eggs and missing a slice of toast. Mushrooms and baked beans were not hot. No mustard sachets, got told there are none. Not sure how you can be out of sachets, poor ordering and stock control. Why not go over shop and buy some pots of mustard in the instance the ordering has been so poor that they didn’t have any.Drinks (mixture of hot drinks and cold drinks) did not come out with the meal, told they were delayed because there was no milk. Again, how do you have no milk? There is a Tesco across the road and a Wilko across the road. In the event the ordering has been poor that milk is not delivered, go across the road and buy some! After 25 minutes we were delivered drinks, when breakfasts were almost finished.The poor member of staff is running around serving, seemingly on her own, and having to apologise to us and other customers. Trying her best to make up for what seems to be the most poorly run pub I’ve ever seen. Management here is an absolute shambles.

Been coming here for years with the kids and grandkids.Came a month or so ago had to walk out as EVERYTHING we were trying to order on the menu wasn't available. Went again yesterday the 4th Aug. Tried ordering a bowl of chips to add to our order , very curtly told by the lady serving the other tables we couldn't have a bowl as they were out of chips.So there's no chips? Only if you order a full meal!Orderd 1 pepperoni pizza without a bowl of chips.1 vegan pizza. 1 fish and chips.1 Vegetable breaded burger that comes with chips.My husband started eating his fish and realised the batter wasn't cooked!My vegan pizza was like rubber tasted like someone had been ill on it and cold!My grandaughters veggie burger was overcooked and ineddible. The chips that were on the plate looked like they were other people's left overs all different colours black and full of eyes! The lettuce that was on the plate looked like it had either come off another plate or from the bin!I have spent the entire night with an upset stomach.What ever is happening to this place needs sorting and who ever was cooking needs sacking or needs to go on a course!Don't ask alot but to beable to eat the food I pay for and not to become ill from it!

Really nice breakfast, they were kind enough to substitute an item I didn’t like. Food arrived quickly and staff checked on us a few times making sure everything was ok.The service was superb compared to most Wetherspoons we have been to. Will definitely come back again!

Went in today for bite to eat and coffees Waited awhile for service which never happened So after waiting quite awhile decided to leave without Ordering ,this was not busy so what problem !

I have visited this Spoons a lot and am sad to say that todays visit was poor. After ordering Cod Chips Peas and a glass of house red - I was advised, no house red available but you can pay for a small bottle of the non house - so i ended up with a house rose, the nastiest rose ive had for a long time. When the Cod arrived it had to be the size of 2 fish fingers in copious amounts of batter done to a crisp. Again the worst ive encountered at Spoons. The last thing to make my visit complete was the Hand sanitiser station - on arrival i noted that it was either out of liquid or had stopped functioning, so i reported this to a staff member, 'oh ill get that sorted out', but after watching at least 25 people over about an hour, attempt to sanitise on arrival, no action had been taken. The service itself to the table was fine, no complaint about the servers, but im now sure that the food side of this establishment is suffering in order to subsidise the cheap drinks, Fine if your there for the booze rubbish if your there for the food.

I went to weatherspoons and the boncer took my id because he didn't belive it was me even though it looks exactly like me, he said he would hand it in to Kingston police station he made it very clear he has to by policy so I could be able to get it back the next day I went to Kingston police station they hadn't had any ID handed in so I called 101 they asked every local police station and it still hadn't been handed in I called wetherspoons to ask them about it they took my details and said they would get back to me and didn't so I called them back later on in the evening and they rudly hung up on me I'm very disappointed with there customers service as my ID shouldn't have been taken in the first place. I will be reporting the boncer to the police as he has stolen my ID.

Turned up at 10.15 and order two traditional breakfast and two teas. The tea was self service which was ok but when the breakfast turned up it was cold and was not told it was scrambled eggs instead of fried. Would not go here again. Would not give any stars.

Where to start?! Had a great experience. Food was freshly cooked and really tasty. Staff were fantastic. Had a great young guy serve us called Harry. He couldn't do enough for us. Really friendly and helpful as were all the staff. Definitely going back the service was brilliant.

Nick and George from Kingston spoons had the best approach to people stealing our drink, and kindly gave us a new one and checked the cctv for us. very very friendly and very helpful, made the visit worth it and would definitely come here again!!!

I had an issue on the night of my visit, but my complaint was dealt with very quickly and efficiently by Georgia when I called up the next day. I was more than satisfied with the solution reached to compensate for the issue.

Waited over half an hour for drink. Rude staff. Got told to move as group of 6 was broken cause a 2 year old was sitting at table. Cold food.Sitting at a group of 7( with a 2 year old ) for about an hour then get told to move.

A very pleasant lunch at Wetherspoons, The Kings Tun, right in the heart of Kingston- on-Thames.Very friendly and welcoming.A large menu, my food came in less than 5 minutes and was freshly cooked.All the current Covid restrictions are in place and well observed.I was politely reminded about my face mask when I went to get a hot drink.Its a very large place but doesn’t feel like it due to the layout, there are lots of booths which makes it feel cosy and private. A former Music Hall back in the day.There was also a Wetherspoons magazine to read (very interesting) and historic framed pictures on the walls.It’s my first visit to Wetherspoons, I enjoyed the food, the friendly atmosphere and the amazing value and will definitely be returning.

Myself and 2 friends came to have a drink after work. We ordered drinks and food from the app. A member of staff came to our table to ask us if we would like anything. The member of staff told us we were not allowed to be served as the manager had said so. We asked to speak to the manager who came over and said she had looked into my friends eyes (wearing a mask) and decided my friend had had too much to drink despite being allowed to enter the establishment by the door staff. She refunded our order and asked us to leave.Absolutely disgraceful! Will never return! Stay away from this establishment if you wish to not be discriminated against.

So a quick lunch to take advantage of "stay out to help out". Alert to the every changing restrictions, went thru usual protocols. After ordering via app (as one does now) which said discounts applied at checkout, upon checkout noticed no discount. So I gestured for a manager to come over to my table (remember " table service?"). Reluctantly she came over and I asked her about the details of discount. To which are literally threw down Wetherspoons mag on the table and mumbled something as she walked off. By the time I located another manager it was too late to correct my order. This was unacceptable service on a day good. You would think amidst a pandemic and constantly changing ways businesses rules change, even a less senior staff person would have been far more courteous and accommodating.

Popped here after a spot of shopping in town and ordered a chicken breast burger with a Heineken on the app. After about ten mins waiting the food came and I chased the pint from the lady who brought me the food.The pint came shortly after even though it was admitted there weren’t many app orders and the gaff wasn’t too busy. Food was decent and the salad I had it with was pretty fresh. Only down side was the long wait for a drink.At £6 you get what you pay for, but a few more staff to monitor app orders would be good as that’s what they encourage you to do.

Not enough staff to cope. Poor service. Slow. Dirty. It has got worse after reopening after covid.It might be cheaper than other places but - in this instance - you get what you pay for.Surbiton and Raynes Park Spoons might be an alternative as they are smaller and better staffed.

I came to Kingston weatherspoons with my daughter for lunch. We had to wait over half an hour for our drinks to arrive and my daughter had to collect them herself from the bar as the staff just didn’t bother to bring it over to us. Then with our food we ordered had to wait ages for that too and when it came out it was stone cold staff didn’t come to check it everything was ok neither!

Results night, packed in like sheep. Sat down at table and not allowed to leave it to go and speak to friends. Mate got kicked out for saying Hi to school friends on the way to the toilet for 10 seconds and asking them if they did well, with no warning as well. Not much point in going to a pub when you can’t speak to anyone you Don’t enter with. To top that off the bouncers are plain out rude and passive aggressive. May sound like they are doing a good job with COVID but is anything but as there is no social distancing enforced in the queue which was an hour long so don’t see why you can’t speak to other people in the pub itself.

Was served by young lady who was very polite. Came for breakfast and my partner had eggs Benedict which is one of his favourites, on this occassion the eggs were a little overdone. I had scrambled eggs on toast with a sausage on the side. When the food came the sausage had been cut in half lengthwise which made the sausage get cold.too quickly. Also put.off by seeing a big bit of gristle sticking out. The scrambled eggs were a bit dry and not very tasty. Spoilt my breakfast:)

I was staying around the corner to Kings Tun and commuting into London for 4 days sightseeing. Kings Tun was my default for a beer before bed. It is a Weatherspoon’s bar on the main street close to the train station. The prices are decent as you’d expect at one of Tim’s places. The bar is typical Spoons with wide open areas and raised seating spaces. Despite being Monday and Tuesday nights when I was in, the place was heaving. There was a very loud ‘pack’ of local kids in both days and the noise they were putting out was deafening. This is in no way reflective of the bar, which had many other likeminded punters who were in for a cheap and quiet pint.

Food diobolical. Do not eat here. OK for a drink if you like rammed and noisy. Sent 2 pizzas back as nothing on the first and the second was raw dough. If you can't even do a pizza . . . .

Large selection of reasonably priced beers, food while not gourmet is very competitively priced and tasty, the clientele are all ages and the atmosphere is good the staff are hard working and friendly ......but please you have to get some cleaning staff into the toilets at regular intervals as they are minging.

Best breakfast in a weathspoons for a long time, perfectly cooked and hot,went to gents the floor was like walking on glue, cubicles were dirty paper all over the place, did not smell to good ,shame, could not knock the food

A group of us met up for lunch. We found a table quite easily. Having done that we ordered our meals from the bar. It did not take long for the order to come through They all like Weatherspoons fish & chips thought they were very good. The meals were good value for the money.

best in Kingston for reasonable beer. also very good fish and chips, with a big draft was 7.99 6.99 with soft drink. very popular place. place your order and pay at bar. then, they bring order to you.

I’ve eaten at Kings Tun steak nights occasionally over several years and have almost always been impressed. This time things had gone downhill. Higher prices sat alongside lower quality – tougher and more gristly steak, not cooked as requested; there was a longer wait for food; no-one checked whether we were satisfied.

We called into the King's Tun on a Saturday afternoon. The big, open bar was pretty full of people and the atmosphere was lively. My wife appreciates an ambience like that but I do not. The pinot grigio on tap was cheap but tasted like lemon juice. The big TV screens showing endless horse racing were another negative point for me.

Saturday evening 5th October and we arranged to meet up with friends for a pre dinner drink.

We are regular guests at this pub. Always clean and good service. Today the waitress was really efficient and helpful upstairs... We had 2 paninis with different sides and two beers. We definitely come back because we like the value for money and a quality of food and service. Thank you

The Kings Tun is a good place to arrange to meet up. It has both downstairs and an upstairs which is served by a lift. It also has toilets on each floor including a disabled.

Met up with friends for drink and afterwards a meal. A fairly pleasant pub and lots of seating all around and upstairs. Good toilets. The meal we had was well cooked and fine. Staff appeared welcoming. It gets very busy after 5.00pm Used the app.

Stayed at a local hotel (room only), came here for breakfast. Lovely staff , tasty food, big servings, clean premises. Food is very cheap. Fast service. Can highly recommend.

I visited the pub with my friends after work and waited in line to order drinks for my group with one of my friends. My friend ordered a non alcoholic drink for himself, the issue started when my other friend joined us. I started speaking to the girl at the bar, trying to order something for myself to which she abruptly stopped me mid sentence starting to talk to my friend who she clearly knew, saying that because he didn’t say hello to her she is banning him from being served, to which he apologised as he did not see her and said it is fine as he’s not ordering any drinks on the night. She then turned around and said “none of you are getting served then”. Initially unaware of what actually just happened I still stood in the queue waiting patiently to get served, but was passed by number of staff which didn’t pay attention to me. Eventually the same server girl, who’s as now I know name is Rhiannon came up to me and said that we’re all banned and none of the bar staff were allowed to serve us. Being a regular in the pub this is the first time I was left speechless as I’ve never received such a rude and unprofessional service from the bar staff in one of my favourite pubs. I then had to get a manager involved, who cleared up the case and sincerely apologised for the rudeness of her associate and lifted the ‘ban’. Me being a part of a security team myself was left disappointed and embarrassed with the service standard others have worked hard to build for the pub.

This is a great pub in Kingston with lovely lunch choices ...we decided to have the nation favourite Fish & Chips on a fridayyy 😋😋❤️❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻...lovely decor and gets very full inside👌🏻

Lovely big pub but not very disabled friendly. We had to move tables out of the way to get past wheel chair doesn't fit at the table properly and if there was a fire I would not be able to get out.

Called here for breakfast when in Kingston on business. Ordered on the app and was served quite quickly. You know what you are going to get at Spoons so you either like it or not. I happen to like it and this was as good as any. Quite surprised how many drinkers were present at well before 10 am on a Friday though. Reasonably clean and staff were pleasant too

Joe clipsham (duty manager) made our night. He efficiently protected us from a man who made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, with just a nod he understood our desperation and escorted the man out of the premises. Joe, thank you, you truly are a gentleman.

The manager on that night (joe clipsham!) was more than accommodating and helped us deal with any individuals that made inappropriate remarks. Thankyou so much and for being so friendly and pleasant!

OK as a pub. Don't eat here. Food pretty grim. Just ordered a burger. Burnt and dry. Lots of people sending food back they obviously need a chef. Or even a cook. Pimms had no fruit in at all just ice. Poor poor poor, even by Spoons standard.

After visiting Pryzm over the road After The Divine comedy music show with Neil Hannon we popped in here for a pint. It’s always good coming to Wetherspoons because you know the prices are going to be good the beer is going to be good and there’s always a good atmosphere. And a pretty good choice of beer they had to I had a pint of Hophouse 13 I love it well done Wetherspoons

My wife and I are massive fans of Wetherspoon's pubs. This is one of the best. It's perfect to have lunch when we are visiting Kingston. Brunch there is wonderful too, before we either go to the Rotunda or the museum or the high street. The food is second to none, the veggie options ticks all of our boxes.

Ordered 1 traditional breakfast ,1 egg benedict , side order of toast, waited quite a while for it to turn up, started thinking should have got a receipt, least it's being cooked fresh ,we thought, how wrong we were, both breakfast came up cold, started eating bit of every thing ,thinking it all can't be cold, but it was, the girl asked if breakfast was ok, both are cold I replied, sorry she said, well reallythats not good enough , the breakfast was probably hanging around waiting to get brought to the table ,point is it was not even busy, the prices in weathspoons are hot, so get the food hot

A really nicely presented building and very spacious inside. Staff very friendly and efficient. The usual Wetherspoons menu, but you know what you are going to get, good fo0od ant a good price. A good selection of real ales (although they were all light - no dark ones) Good to see the door security walking though the building checking age verification (fortunately I didn't need one). We even managed to return in the morning for a good English breakfast which was served really quickly and went down nearly as quick.

The local Wetherspoons! Absolutely love it here! The app is super useful so you don’t even have to leave your table - perfect for a lazy person like me! I really like the food here and the cocktails are insane!!!! The price is sooooo good too! Legit dirt cheap! I love how they turn the downstairs into a club type thing on Friday and Saturday too!! My boyfriend says the American breakfast here is incredible too!

Last night I visited this pub to get some food for my partner before going to a show across the road at Prizm. Just a quick pint and some onion rings, seemed easy enough.

Having had a nice trip to the odeon in Kingston we decided to pay a visit for a quick drink! Was amazed when I walked through the door to turn back and see my 5”4 8 stone friend being man handled by the 20 stone doorman! I politely asked him to calm down and he became very aggressive towards me! All at 8pm? He was very aggressive and extremely intimidating and I worried for my friends well being! I hope you’re very proud of yourselves for scaring some one a quarter of your size! I would never even contemplate visiting this venue again and once home I intend to take this much further including a report to kingston licensing department! Should you require a witness a young member of staff was cleaning a table by the door

Just a quick review in the friendly staff at this pub!! Particularly Rhiannon who is soo friendly and has great people skills!! Nothing is never too much and she’s always happy!!! Be nice if you can hold on to her !!

Me and my mate waited 50 minutes for drinks we ordered through the app. Every table that we moved to was dirty and took at least 10/20 minutes to clear. Shocking considering it was just a Thursday evening no reason to be that slow.

We had lunch and drinks on a very busy Saturday afternoon.Huge place and loads of tables.Our food was good and arrived so quickly.This place is was it is..so if you want a quiet drink and gastro try somewhere else.

Why don’t more pub owners/ brewery pubs, do what Wetherspoons do?. This is exactly what the British public and tourists want from s pub. Good food, selection of real ales, popular lagers, reasonable prices. This pub in the heart of Kingston upon Thames is a prime example of what a modern pub should be doing to stay in business.# excellent.

A pub with plenty of inexpensive food, beer and other drinks. And lots of space too. I ordered gammon, egg and chips and a soft drink - a bargain at £4.99. Sadly overnight I felt terribly ill with food poisoning. I can't prove it was their fault but I have my suspicions and I won't be going back.

Let's start with the toilets, they were absolutely disgusting 3 without toilet paper, 1 with faeces on seat, paper all over floors.

Wetherspoons pubs vary. This one has the usual large range of beers and is spread over two floors - it's an old theatre that at one time was a discount homewares store called the Reject Shop.

Went on a Friday night very lively. Be prepared to be ID and searched before entering which we didnt mind better to be safe. As always drinks very reasonably great atmosphere.

I visited the pub for breakfast on a Tuesday morning after we had all been out the night before celebrating a work event. Admittedly we took up a lot of space upstairs as there was probably about 50 of us and all ordered food and at the start there was just one waitress. My friend and I ordered our breakfast and orange juice on the app, half an hour later and no sign of either items. I spotted the young, blonde haired waitress rushing about and she was understandably stressed. I saw her take a breakfast over to an older lady and throw it down on the table and walk away without saying anything, only for it to be the wrong order. When our food finally came she said ‘i’ve been looking for you two for half an hour’ even though we had been sat at the exact table we ordered from. After plonking the plates down she said it was something about the table having been moved by someone else and it wasn’t in its usual place and then stormed off. As she walked away I said to my friend about it not being our problem and she could have looked around a little bit. She obviously heard me and came back round to our table and shouted ‘what was that?’ Right in my face. I was so shocked it’s the kind of behaviour I would expect from someone in a club, not someone who is serving me! After all that, our food was stone cold as clearly she had left it while she served others and came looking for us later. The worst service I have ever experienced and that waitress needs a serious talking to as she was rude to everyone in that pub!

as with all weatherspoons pubs this is busy but asalways there is a good atmosphere and good choice of excellent food

The gourmet vegetarian burger was absolutely delightful!

Lovely big pub, loads of seating. Cheap drinks. Good service. Just what Weatherspoons promises and delivers the majority of the time. Will be back soon.

Great selection of beers and ales at reasonable prices at this Wetherspoons. Good breakfast at cheap prices. Fast service.

The Kings Tun pub is quite close to the two Travelodges in Kingston and offers good food at a good price and it includes a pint of Guinness for less than £10! They have special meal deals most nights and these are a real bargain. The only downside is that it canbe very busy but they have numerious seating areas so you can find a quiet spot.

Not the best breakfast I have ever had. Milk was off, told hadn't be n out long. Asked how long told since around 8. Was now 9.30. Considering how hot it was, surely small jugs should be handed out. Had pancakes bacon and maple syrup. Mean on the bacon and pancakes very doughy.

I can't believe it. People are actually smoking in here, the smog was so thick it stretched from the door to the bar. I approached the duty manager, and she said I'm wrong as it's outside and coming in. I explained I know they are inside as no less than 5 people lit up inside. Another bar lady then said look at that smoke, they are inside. She went over to a whole group of males to ask them to move. All of this is going on whilst the door staff were doing nothing.. I really fell sorry for her. (Not the duty manager or door staff who did nothing though). Literally choking on the smoke and had to move table.
