I had a fantastic time at this pub! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just the right mix of cozy charm and lively energy. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home throughout the evening.

Quiet pub with lovely ddecor. Food was really nice. Good values for money, rarely happens in this area. Team very friendly.

Have been a regular visitor to kingshead over the years and have always found it really good and food and service really good. However i was over last week and dropped in as usual but found different staff were in place and thought food will be still good, i couldnt be more wrong.It was a bit strange asking me to pay upfront for food before we got it as we were never asked before. We ordered fish and chips and onion rings £38.75 in total, what we got was the worst rubbish served in london. The fish batter was rock hard and not edible, peas rock hard and the few chips served were raw. Its rare we complain but it was so bad i had no choice. I told the guy who served us and his reply was, is it too crispy for you? I said its like a rock and he called over the girl and she looked stunned as to why im complaining.Anyway i said id have my money back but they kind of moaned a little bit so i said ok can you give us another fish and chips, oh my god the replacement was worse and when it was being delivered to our table i noticed two other people looking at the food with a look that said, that looks terrible and they didnt order anything.Never would i rate the kingshead on moscow street and not sure about its sister pub on same road as i didnt eat in that one.There is much nicer places to eat in around bayswater. To add insult to injury the rotten gents toilet has a q code on wall asking to give them 5 star review, laughable if i could give them less than one start i certainly would.

We ordered one of the Sharers (chicken in Korean bbq sauce) and the chocolate and caramel torte. Everything was delicious. The place is nice and cozy.

The worst hamburger of our life, hard and inedible... frozen without a doubt. Having mentioned it at the time of the bill we hoped at least for a discount. But this was not the case. We will not return

Our second pub here in London and we felt very comfortable again. There is a good selection of seating. The food selection is good and the food tastes good. We had the classic fish & chips and nachos. The drinks also leave nothing to be desired. There is a good selection of everything. The gin variations are great, the beers are good and the banana old fashioned is really tasty. This is a great place to end the day.

Fakhir has been amazing and gone above and beyond.

The service at this pub was excellent—especially thanks to Fakhir, who was incredibly friendly and fast. The drinks were delicious and well-prepared. However, the food portions were quite small for the price, which was a bit disappointing, but still delicious food. If you’re looking for a place with great drinks and outstanding service and live sports, this is a good choice, but be prepared for smaller portion sizes.

Tipico pub inglese, personale molto cortese. Siamo stati sia di venerdì che di domenica sera, cibo buono e servizio veloce. Fa parte della catena greene king, ma in questa sede non è disponibile il menu per bambini. In ogni caso i nostri bambini hanno trovato comunque qualcosa che fosse di loro gradimento (ad esempio la cotoletta). Lo teniamo presente per un eventuale futuro viaggio

It’s a very traditional pub with lovely decor. Atmosphere was amazing. Staff were very friendly and caring. They served the best Guinness in the area. Food was delicious. Duck Hash was our favourite. If you are looking for British pub experience that’s the place you should visit.

If you want a lovely meal and quaint London pub atmosphere without the frenzy or prices of the High Street and tourist traps of Notting Hill and Bayswater or Kensington Park, make your way to this place. It's just around the corner from Bayswater tube station or an easy walk from any of the places I've mentioned. We had one of the best pub meals here that we've had in London in ages! And it's a nice place to chill out. Also, is dog friendly! Thanks for your hospitality, Peter (manager) and food (Nadia). We'll be back :)

Basic English cuisine. We had reserved and waited 5 minutes in front of the bar when we arrived, with the waiter and the bartender who walked past us several times without speaking to us. We were then placed at the entrance to the toilets. The place is however beautiful and well decorated for the Christmas period :)

The service leaves something to be desired. Serving disorderly. Be careful with your wallet inside the pub. Plus the staff doesn't care.

Fakhir was our waiter and he did a very good job. He told us what his favorite dessert was and it was really delicious. The food was very tasty. Something went wrong with placing the order, so we received a round of free drinks, so that was resolved very nicely and sweetly. Furthermore, the food was of good quality.

We went there last night & also came the day before yesterday because of the service experience, we were warmly welcomed both times by young boy on duty made sure of our needs he was energetic + attentive ☺️. perhaps Fakir was the name (this is what we could understand when we asked his name) the food is also recommended kyiv and chicken burger 😋😋

The man who takes the order is very rude. He yelled at us, gave us drinks and didn't want to sell us food, saying that they were very busy. I don't recommend it

It was a very cozy place, a bit outskirts of Notting Hill. The food was fascinating, and the service was great. We asked if we can share some plates, then the crew (Probably his name is Fakhir) even divided the plate in two separate plates! I will definitely come back when I come around Notting Hill again!

I have visited with a bunch of coworkers, whilst everyone got their food and drinks I still have not (I ordered some halloumi fries and hot chocolate 19:16). Went up to the bar at 19:48 to get a refund and right then got told that my drink is ready and that they are very busy. As someone who works in hospitality the pub was not busy at all, even saw the manager looking at himself at the bar mirror whilst it being "really busy". Definitely would not recommend.

We sat down at a table for dinner and it was in the middle of the meal that we were told that 10 minutes later the table was reserved for other people. There were no more tables available and we weren't even offered an apology. The dish was not qualitative.

Great little pub not far from Kensington park. Had the mulled wine for $9 a person and it was nice. Had a fresh slice of orange and cinnamon stick in it. The pub was overall cozy and the bartender was very sweet ! Didn’t have a chance to eat here unfortunately.

Update the schedule please. Both on the website and on Google it says that they serve meals until 10:00 pm. However, yesterday after previously checking and going there, we arrived at 9:10 pm and they told us that the kitchen was closed. Disappointing

Menu on the door is not offered inside. They haven’t updated the sign. Dessert only served with ice-cream not the offered clotted cream or custard. Mulled wine stone cold. Soup served with tiny crust - 2 very small slices. Go to the pub on the corner instead.

Fish and chips were lukewarm, steak just a stone. Sports was on, the sound was so loud that you could barely hear each other. Unfriendly staff.

Nice atmosphere and really good food, better than at some restaurants. We had the Chicken Kyiv, the Mushroom chicken pie, and the peach tart tatin - all of them delicious. They also have a wide range of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. Very helpful and attentive staff

Server made multiple order mistakes which resulted in over one hour wait for food. Manager was more or less indifferent to the problem. Food was average at best. With three younger children this was not a good experience. Traveler's Choice award 2024 rating is very curious. I would not recommend for anything other than drinks.
