Friendly welcoming staff. Bridget was awesome! She was really friendly and made me some great gin mixes. Definitely recommend this pub to anyone!

We visited last week and the owner / bar staff couldn't have been more welcoming and pleasant. They have 5 tv screens showing sky sports, just a very nice, cosy pub with a good pint.

Clean and tidy. We had a couple of real ales and we found them to be well kept. Enough locals in to make a lively atmosphere. They do food but on this occasion we did not eat here.

We visited here as we seen the footy on the TV and was going to watch the game (England v Belgium 3rd place play off) Started very well with a very friendly barman, but went slightly downhill from there, we asked for a recommendation of which was made, I was served my beer in an absolutely filthy glass, and the beer was slightly warm, it tasted slightly off but as I had walked out to the beer garden I couldn’t be bothered to take it back. (I know I shouldn’t moan if I didn’t take it back) I looked round at all the other people drinking the ales and there’s was all the same, filthy glass’ and flat beer. On a more positive note, the garden was very welcoming and a lovely little sun trap. I never ate there but the lady on the other table was heard to say her food was excellent. Sort the glass’s out gaffer!!!

Lovely little pub, We went in for a drink on a Saturday night. Friendly bar staff and locals with a lovely log fire to keep you cosy in Winter. Would recommend popping in if you are in Chipping Norton.

Nice friendly pub for our two night stay, good breakfasts each morning and a fabulous surf and turf with a steak cooked rare just as ordered. Twin room was warm and well provided with especially as it was like the Arctic outside. Good pub with great staff.

Room (B and B) and breakfast were fine, but car parking was a joke. We ended up parking quite a distance away. The parking at the rear of the pub is VERY limited.

Classic Pub. Quiet Day, still beer ran out. Friendly staff. -1 star: it's a super easy task to check for and fix wobbly tables. That wonky top does not add to atmosphere but to annoyment.

Absolute disgusting customer service. My partner asked for a bigger jacket potato and how fresh the cake was, which they considered rude, as a result, on the following day they refused to serve my par
