Don't go as a large group to celebrate they can't cater! Especially it anyone has allergies! 2 hours to wait for food! Food came out cold, with the gluten free bread still frozen and instructions on other meals not followed! The meat was tough and fatty not good quality meat you would expect for the prices you pay and the steaks so small they couldn't feed a child! So over priced, had the food come out in time and warm it would have still been a disappointment Booked a table early so wasn't in rush time, pre warned about allergies reassured would only add 20 minutes on! Spoilt a very special occasion, will never go back

Our table was booked for 12.30, there was no one to meet us when we arrived, so we was kept waiting then. We was shown to our table and our drinks were ordered, 10 minutes passed before our order was taken. Our food still didnt arrive after 45 mins. I asked the waitress where our food was and she went and checked on the kitchen. She came back and advised us that our order didn’t get processed and when it did she also advised that one of our mains was no longer available .We reordered and our food eventually came 1hr and 20 mins later. To be fair the manager did give our meals free of charge as a good will gesture Overall not impressed.

Nikos was an absolute credit to the company. His service was prompt and efficient, he was helpful and charming. The quality of the food was very good and well presented.

Ashlyn was our server was excellent. The food was amazing, the mushroom risotto was amazing, definitely try it.

The menu was varied and catered well for vegans of which there were two in our party. The service was excellent. Our daughter had just got married and everyone was super complimentary. We really appreciated the special touches (prosecco and chocolate message). Thank you

The decor/room layout was great, tables not on top of each other. Nice waitress 3 of us celebrating our birthday were given complimentary dessert and servicing dish decorated with ‘Happy Birthday’ which was a nice touch

Lovely pub, staff great but wasn’t impressed with the food, had the trio and the pork was tiny and more like a lump of fat, beef chewy, chicken was fine, my partner had the duo and never ate the meat as it was too tough. Shame really as the place looks great, charges London prices and I thought Toby was just as good with the food, you expect rubbish at Toby so not so bad .

Lovely evening made even better by our charming server Ashlyn. Such a courteous, funny & professional young lady.

Having eaten here a couple of times before, came for their NYE dinner. Overall experience was ok but they'd clearly either over booked or were understaffed. Waited 15 mins after seating before anyone spoke to us to take an order, and similar for the tables around us. Same story at the end of the meal when it took half an hour to get the bill. Quality of the food was pretty good when it came, particularly the starters, but did expect a bit more wow factor given the price. And more than a little surprised to be charged extra for a sauce to go with the steak when paying £80 per head.. yes that did include half a bottle of wine but still.. I'd definitely eat here again, but would think twice before going back on a special menu night.

The food was simply delicious; every dish was spot on and served piping hot, which can be tricky with such a large party. After the meal, we stayed on for drinks, and the atmosphere was just as great—warm, lively, and welcoming. My partner and I were here last night for my Birthday. I couldn't get booked in the Restaurant so booked a table at the bar which was lovely. The food was absolutely gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We have been here a few times and would highly recommend you visit.

Returned after being away for a couple of years. Nikos was very attentive and could only apologise for a poorly cooked main course that was returned a second time due to then being a very poor quality cut. Read the menu description carefully as food is dressed up. Shame as we used regularly previously but having to sacrifice quality to try and compete with others. Would rather pay a bit more to go back to how food was presented previously.

We just finished off our Christmas party at the kings arms and it was the best one we’ve had to date! The service from the girls on the bar (leoni and Ali) and our waitresses (Rihana and faith) was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Although it seemed like a busy night it made no difference to the service. It was an amazing Christmas party and we will be returning next year. Thank you everyone

I’m very pleased with our meal at The Kings Arms. I booked a table for 11 of my family to have a Christmas Roast and we were very happy with it. The staff were friendly and happy and the service was good. Generally the pub was very busy, as to be expected, Even so, we never felt like we were kept waiting for our meals. The food was good and presented nicely and everyone was happy.. The price was very reasonable considering it was so close to Christmas. So yes, we were very happy with our family meal at The Kings Arms. We have eaten there many times and look forward to eating there in the future.

Our waitress Ashlyn was incredible, very prompt with the service and attentively accommodated my partners unfortunate stomach and bowel conditions. Food was amazing and can’t thank Ashlyn enough for making it a memorable experience in an environment my partner usually struggles. Staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is ever too much, leonie was our waitress and she was the best. Pork belly was perfect and the brownie was delicious. The toilets were incredibly clean and it was overall the perfect place to go for a meal! I will be recommending to my friends!

We stopped off for some lunch on a bike ride in the area. It’s a very nice place, with good food, and friendly staff

It was the cycling club’s Christmas meal and social, the venue was booked well in advance. On arrival the bar area was packed, vey busy. Once we all arrived, we were shown to our table and waited for the food to arrive. And we waited, and we waited and waited. The starters arrived after about a delay of 45 minutes, though I have to say, the food was worth waiting for. I had scollops which were fantastic, followed by turkey with all the trimmings and for desert, mince pie tart. The food was fabulous, but the service was slow, too slow in my opinion. As mentioned earlier, the pub was heaving. All bar staff worked very hard and all kept their heads under immense pressure. There was an issue with a Deliveroo order which I was aware of, again through slow service. I do wonder if the service issues were due to staff shortages or whether The Kings Arms have over committed themselves. Either way, this should be addressed because the delay in being served put a tarnish on what otherwise was a fabulous meal.

Amazing place with very Christmasy atmosphere (it’s Christmas), lovely and helpful staff and we had the vegan option for starters, mains and dessert and they were all outstanding.
