I visited the kings arms with my mum for dinner, great food and service. Nikos the manager on shift really looked after all the guests. Also the cocktails are amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely dinner with family to celebrate a birthday. Staff were great and food was good- able to cater to gluten free well!

The date went off without a hitch, thanks to Ash & Niko for making it a special night once again. We were wined and dined, and the service was absolutely stable. The food was fantastic, and the cocktails went down a treat—they really knew how to mix things up in the saddle. Even when it came time to leave, they reined in a taxi for us to ensure we got home safely. A truly mane event—can’t wait to trot back soon!

First time visiting. We had 2 menus to choose from one in which included wine, but as my husband was driving we chose the main menu. I had the chicken parfait and my husband the carrot and coriander soup. For mains I had sea bass as disappointedly they had run out of the chef's special and a favourite of mine monk fish. My husband had the fillet steak. Service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Only criticism was it was so hot inside, a complaint that was shared by a member of staff. Although an old building a few ideas to circulate the air inside please to make it cooler! Will go back as enjoyed the food and service - might sit next to a window though!

My wife and I just met some friends for lunch at the Kings Arms our friends and I had all been before but we were all very disappointed the price for what we were given I had the trio of roasts and the slithers of meat I received for the £21.95 was not good, and the food was only luke warm my wife's burger and chips was also only luke warm and our friends food was not hot either the staff never even asked if our food was OK, all in all very disappointing and would not be going back and would not refer any of our other friends to eat there.

Our family held our wake at the The Kings Arms in Cardington yesterday and I have to say we were very pleased with the quality of the food and the lovely decor and area within the pub we were given and the lovely garden area where you kindly reserved tables for our family and friends.Nicole and Ashley were absolutely brilliant and tended to us very well throughout. I am not from Bedford and was lucky to find this place for such an important event. I will definitely return to have a beer and a meal when we’re next in this area. If you want anything similar I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Nicole and Ashley everything went as smooth as you said it would,thank you both so much 👍

Astonishingly bad. Cold, chewy, over cooked steak sandwich. Rock hard bread. Tolerable chips. Over priced at £14.50!! Overpriced if it were £1 tbh! No one bothered to check if we re satisfied with food.

Liv was an excellent waitress. Food was a little cold, and was really let down by a very small serving of rib of beef as part of the duo of beef roast. Not cheap so expect better.

Faith was our lovley waitress for Sunday afternoon, she was very attentive, patient and looked after us so well! The place is lovley, very well decorated and the food is amazing. We had a starter main and dessert and it was well worth feeling full for the rest of the day. Recomend a visit for sure.

Great food - Molly was excellent

Went and celebrated my dad’s birthday tonight. Even though the restaurant was busy and we were warned there could be a slight wait on food the food actually arrived very quickly and was delicious. Rihanna was amazing at managing my mums sesame allergy and gave amazing service all night. The restaurant was busy but she never made you feel rushed or an inconvenience and took the time to give proper service and promptly arrived with anything we asked for (drinks, napkins etc). To summarise, we will 100% be back and thank you to all staff especially Rihanna for a lovely evening

The Kings Arms was busy but we didn’t have to wait long. Service was excellent- thanks to our server Lauren, and the food was the best I’ve had in a long time - Huge thanks to Ben in the kitchen for such a delicious meal - ribeye steak for me and Sunday roast for my wife. Will definitely be back.

3rd time coming and I have to say I absolutely love this place. My partner and I decided to go for something a bit more glamorous to accompany our long awaited date night. Camembert to start was wonderful and the 28 day aged steak from the chefs special menu was fabulous. A little too filling for desert but that is no problem. Ashlyn was wonderful and made sure our needs were attended too. This establishment never fails to amaze me, food is great with a lot of diversity but also the staff really make the place.

We payed a visit for a Sunday Roast. Staff very attentive when checking in. Waitress prepared our table. In the meantime 2 other members of staff made sure we were being looked after. We both had the roast beef dinner. We both agreed food was delicious. Faith did a great job looking after us.

We are very frequent diners at The Kings Arms & when we ordered this takeaway delivery we thought it was from another Kings Arms! How pleased were we, not only to receive a delicious hot meal delivery, but to find that it is in fact our favourite eatery! The food didn’t disappoint and we will order again, without a second thought.

First choice for a great meal out

Liv was a fantastic waitress. Very attentive despite being a busy evening! Food was lovely and good presentations and portions. However, the wait for food and drinks was quite long, we had to ask for our drinks and some of the food came a while later than others.

First time back here in a while, enjoyed it very much, so booked a date night with the wife same week.

Father's day dinner was amazing

Been here many times and it's always been good but today was a let down. Firstly, greeted with empty tables that needed clearing so it's not a very good impression. There were staff around and they weren't that busy but chose to chat rather than clear the tables. When asked where we would like to sit, we chose the bar area by the window, if the table could be cleared. She picked up the plates etc, while we stood waiting then walked behind the bar to serve someone else! Not even a wipe of the table so we had to ask another member to wipe it over. Longer than usual wait for food and when it arrived it just didn't have the 'Yum' factor. Over cooked fries, burnt pineapple, dry gammon. All in all, very disappointing. The interior itself is looking a little tired too. Think there has also been a recent leak, judging by the ceiling in the bar. We do visit here alot and bring many guests with us, but to be honest, I think we will leave it a while before we visit again, Sadly.

The steak and malbec pie was delicious! The vegetables were slightly overcooked, and there was barely any mash potato on the plate, but the pie really was top notch. The service was a little slow, but the waitress was very polite and friendly. Lovely pub, and very busy for a Tuesday lunch time!

Excellent service. Holly was very attentive, friendly and polite. Also very knowledgeable around the menu. The food was absolutely delicious but the pork was slightly dry. Overall experience was very good and we'll definitely be back.

Had the loveliest roast dinner here today it came with everything you’d expect! The cookie/ice cream dessert as well was fab! Really nice staff especially Holly who was super attentive. The atmosphere on a Sunday was really nice didn’t feel too busy but still a nice environment. Loads of parking available as well. Such a gem outside Bedford!

Delicious food, the restaurant was really busy and the staff were trying so hard to keep up but the delays on food were very long. Needed 2 or 3 more members of staff and it would've been 5 stars across the board! Stunning scallops too!!

Second visit to the Kings Arms. Have been very impressed on both occasions. Service is extremely welcoming and friendly. Lovely food, wide menu and extensive choice of drinks. The salt and pepper squid starter was lovely. Light, tasty batter. Sea bass fillets in a saffron veloute with cherry tomatoes were delicious and filling. My friend enjoyed the sticky chipotle chicken starter. They also do a lovely Sunday roast with all the trimmings. The pub/restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Me and my son went to the King's Arms for Father's Day lunch. We chose from a very good set menu. Although it was very busy the service and food were very good. We have been here a few times recently, and it has been very good each time.

Molly really went above and beyond this afternoon whilst serving my mum's surprise birthday dinner. She was friendly and attentive and really helpful when it came to helping me organise the surprise (cake etc). We were also served by Holly who was really friendly and interacted with our children which they loved. The food was Amazing! We sampled a few starters, scallops were a firm favourite with our party, and burgers& pork belly for mains. I don't live locally but as soon as I'm back in the area I will be hurrying back to the kings arms!

We came in for Sunday lunch with our toddler and had a fantastic meal. It was our first time at the Kings Arms but we'll definitely be back. The service from Alison was brilliant, it was a fantastic pub and the food was delicious. Really recommend.

Fabulous diamond anniversary gathering at The Kings Arms. Charlotte was a superb waitress.

Wow, what a find !! The food was amazing. I had the Ray wing and it was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Currently sat waiting for the cookie with 3 scoops of sorbet or ice cream. I went for a scoop of coconut sorbet, raspberry sorbet and crystallised ginger ice cream. Eyes definitely bigger than belly today !! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thanks to the team.
