Beautiful food, & great service in a lovely, atmospheric pub. Highly recommended 👌

Nice local pub in Bromham. Enjoyed a couple of pints in the garden in the sun. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food.

I was out with a friend and decided we would stop here for lunch and once in the pub we were told in a very straight manner that they were fully booked for the next hour but we were not given any alternatives to perhaps eating in the bar or outside so we left what seemed to be an empty bar and all tables reserved in the restaurant.Outside was empty on a beautiful day.This is the second time this has happened.I find the lady who I supposed to be in charge. very off hand and not in the least apologetic or helpful.The food is normally very good but if they keep turning away passing trade one day they will need them.summer is coming and not everyone can book in advance.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday with our family which included several young children. The large table layout was superb with plenty of room for everyone including a high chair for our youngest family member bless him! The food ,which was all wonderful was served promptly and piping hot. No hesitation in recommending The Swan to anyone wishing for good honest food served in lovely surroundings!

Visited for Sunday lunch for Father’s Day. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was hot and tasted great. Good value too.

What an amazing experience I had tonight at the swan the food is just stunning and the staff are really friendly and nice and the landlords mark and Jane do an amazing job and the pub is just a really friendly and enjoyable place to be I really recommend it.

Only use it saves going into town, had lunch once my friend treated me for birthday, no Eaton mess, didn't have ice cream or real cream, can't do Irish coffee either. The woman front of house really gets on my nerves as I feel she is so insincere as though she is used to not hearing. Food is average. I'm not a big drinker but it Seems like a good place to get sozzled. Have come out several times. No hot chocolate either. Several lunches with friends and walking n then lunch meals

Everything to love about this place. Fabulous food, lovely restaurant and friendly staff. So why only 3 stars? The toilets! There are only two toilets for ladies for this large restaurant (not including outside tables). One toilet was broken and taped off. The second toilet didn't have a lock on the door. Such a letdown for this, otherwise very pretty and inviting venue. Please see response from the Swan - looks like the toilets have been repaired, which is great news for this lovely venue 😀

Last Sunday I popped into the Swan with my family, just for a quick drink and we were thoroughly impressed with the Customer Service from Zac, Sanjay and Maisie. When I met three friends for Lunch this following Friday, I hoped the excellent Customer Service would match the food and boy didn't it just. Front of the house was Jade, Sanjay and Laura, delivering again excellent Customer Service - every request was promptly catered for in a genuine friendly manner. Could we get a 'Hat Trick' with the food! Dave and Gabe the Chef's did not disappoint our palate. We all had Pea, Mint & Courgette Risotto with toasted Rosemary Focaccia, Rocket, Roasted Peppers and Red Onion. From the beautiful presentation of rich vibrant colours to the Focaccia which gently nestled in the dish. Lastly, the rocket was a perfect finish. Thanks to you all for all your hard work and passionate dedication, to make the Swan our new 'go to place', as we move into the Village - a top place for making memories with family and friends Tracey, Viv and Debbie PS the Cheesecake and Oozing Chocolate fondant puddings were naughty but very, very, nice - be rude not to

As we are hopefully moving into the Village very soon we thought we would pop in for a quick drink. The 2 Gentleman at the Bar were really friendly and served us promptly . We all agreed as we sat there that the ambiance was top notch with a warm glow from the fire that sealed the deal as our new local. We chatted to the staff before we left and met Maisie also (sorry chaps don't know your names) Very obliging with several requests met immediately Can't wait to sample the food - if it matches the Customer Service today ....perfect!

Now, I might be slightly biased here, as I frequently play live music here at the Swan in Bromham. To recommend them for their live music nights alone might be seen as a bit of a cop-out. The staff, from the bartenders all the way up to the management, are always chipper and ready to serve you with both a smile and a witticism. Reliably, I'm also told that the menu is great as well, so I look forward to experiencing them as a dining guest in the future. The Bromham locals have got behind the pub in a big way as well, and their enthusiasm for whatever event they have on is infectious. Be it live music or a quiz night, attendance is high and lively! 🤘 One of Greene King's biggest jewels in the crown here in Bedfordshire, for sure.

Love the pub and use probably once a week to catch up wirh friends for a pint but the staff really need training everyone is so miserable ..... Can't comment on food as have not eaten there but does look good

There was a fella trying to sing and play a guitar. He was awful. But the rest was good.

My husband and I had the most delicious dinner date for valentines day. I had a very generous portion of the Tomato, Halloumi and Pesto salad, it was fresh, tasty petso and served with a pot of houmous. See photo. My husband had the Katus Curry and really enjoyed that too. The best meal out we'd had for a VERY long time. Our puddings were also divine, I had the sticky toffee pudding, really good. See photo. My husband had the cheesecake, which was also yummy, of course I had to try it. Great pub, great food and very attentive staff! Thanks guys 😀

Went for lunch today and ordered the Mix Grill. The meat was not of a high standard and would have expected more from a local pub. The steak was very chewy and did not have any taste to it and the chicken breast very bland and over cooked. Was extremely disappointed. I may pop in for a drink, but not for food.

Did not eat on this occasion but the pb is lovely and warm with 2 rea log fires. Bar person really friendly and kept putting logs on the fire. Lovely relaxing and chilled drink

What a lovely weekend lunch with the family. From the lovely warm welcome to the fabulous food - we felt both looked after and left in peace to enjoy our tasty pub grub. Pricing is fair. Food super tasty. Service friendly and swift - what a lovely front of house and food team.

Hadn’t eaten here for a while so 3 of us turned up but hadn’t booked a table and it was a very busy Friday night. Mark and his team went to a lot of effort to get us a table in the restaurant. The food was really good and piping hot, can highly recommend the Chicken Schnitzel and leg of lamb. Service was excellent, the staff were very attentive. Nice atmosphere in the bar, everyone very friendly. Will definitely be eating here again.

I was very disappointed that the waitress did not advise that there was a special on steak as it was Thursday. Appreciate was on the menu but not prominently displayed. 3 of us would have ordered had we seen. Burger meal was not the best . We like this place but this meal was disappointing Should have complained when paid bill

Had sunday lunch with family, and couldn't fault the food, service, cleanliness, or atmosphere. Food was to a good standard with a good selection of Beers and wines. Have booked again.

Came here for lunch. Restaurant was empty and a couple of people in the bar. Told that they were expecting people for bookings. Would not even serve us outside for a quick sandwich at 12 moon! Said 30 minutes wait. No wonder pubs are closing every day! Obviously this place does not need business.

Just had the best Hunters chicken ever, it was tasty succulent chicken with plenty of bacon too....very nice....hubby had the gammon and eggs and he was well pleased with his meal too....

went to swan for darts match with my team con club b against there b team even we lost to them and was a great night out and staff was very good and polite and keep up the good work and I recommend swan pub.

Came here with family after calling to book with no problem. We were told there was a few things unavailable (risotto, Vegan katsu, onion rings, cauliflower croquets), luckily we didn't want any of these. The website menu shows toasties and sandwich/wrap available, but they only had 'open sandwiches' on a separate menu. I went for the chicken, bacon and avocado one and was left quite disappointed. It was overall dry, bland and with a small amount of warm, wilted rocket next to it. More of a salad would have been better. I added some more mayo and bbq sauce and had some salad and chips from my families dishes which made it better. My family had the fish and chips (given garden peas when we asked for mushy), hunters chicken and chicken and ham pie (could have done with a bit more gravy). I then noticed another customer ordered an open sandwich and it looked like they had loads of rocket. So don't know what happened with mine.. I expected better after seeing good reviews and the menu choice online. My family were satisfied their food, but we won't bother returning.

Visited on Fri 28th July with my Daughter and 2 grandaughters was pleasantly surprised lovely pub and staff exceptional great food and was amazed that lunch for 2 adults and children with a few beers was cheaper then a Macdonalds definitely be hack well done to all

Very disappointed, booked online after checking the menu. Only discovered once seated that we had to choose from a reduced menu and the mixed grill we wanted wasn't on it.

We stopped off here while the kids were having smores at the Guides HQ round the corner. So glad that we did. Had an impromptu burger which was delicious and the service and atmosphere were great. A hidden gem.

We came for lunch for my friend's 65th birthday yesterday. There were four of us. The food was delicious and the staff were so welcoming. Lady with blond hair (didn't catch her name) was amazing. She couldn't do enough for us. We had a cake and she made such a fuss of my friend. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch.

Have visited The Swan on several occasions, usually for lunch as family live in the area. We have never been disappointed. Food is first class with lots of choice on the menu. Venue spotless on each occasion. Staff friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Just called in for drink and found this pub to be a great place with a good beer garden.

Very disappointed with the service at this pub. Came at 5pm on a Sunday for food to be told they are no longer serving however your site says food to 9pm when questioned the gentleman just looked at be blankly and with no care in the world. This isn’t the first time we been refused food. We been down a few time at both lunch and dinner time to be told they can’t serve food due to a big booking (yet there were empty table in the restaurant area) Please do explain why there’s a menu when we are never allowed to order from it, why is there a website that provides incorrect info or is it the staff making there own time up

Haven't been in this pub in over 40 years, but just as good as I remember it. Actually it's better than I remember it. All that time ago when we lived in Bedford we went in there regularly and going in there again brought back so many good memories, such a nice pub. Food was really good and prices were very reasonable, with a range of real ales. Will visit again even though we live in Northampton.

Never been to the Swan before and was pleasantly surprised. Good selection of beer and food looked good. Weirdly the guy that runs the place has the same name as me. We now know 4 people with the same name. Great village pub

We had a lovely meal at a very good price. The beer was nearly as good as the staff serving us🙂

I would like to review the food, but we went on Saturday night at 8pm and they told us the kitchen was already close (kitchen closing time 9pm) very disappointed 😞☹️

We booked for 7.15 as on the online booking all later slots were filled. On arrival we discovered we were the last people at 7.15 as they don't take anyone later. This meant we were the only people being served a meal. The food was good but our whole eating experience of 2 courses was over in 40 minutes. Not long enough to enjoy or even drink our bottle of wine. The dining area was then closed off from the pub customers. We were like 2 lemons left sitting completely on our own. We did manage to find a table in the bar to finish our wine. This is an experience we are not likely to repeat. A pity as we live in the village and can walk to the pub.

We were looking for somewhere for a quick lunch while my car was having an MOT. The landlady said she had lots of lunch reservations, but if we only wanted a sandwich (which we did), she was happy to take us and our two dogs. The sandwiches were delicious, not your run of the mill at all. They were open sandwiches, piled high - mine with smoked salmon and cream cheese and my partners with Southern fried chicken. We asked for a bowl of chips and drinks and the waitress said that if we had another bowl of chips it was a meal deal and cheaper! So we did! Lovely place, exceptional staff and delicious food at a very good price

Much improved menu, nice beers. Staff very friendly and welcoming. A decent, reasonably priced meal out. Check out the daily specials if you are on a tight budget.

An excellent Sunday lunch time meal at the Swan. It was fully booked so it was worth booking ahead. Great food. The roasts looked amazing but this time I had the smoked salmon open sandwich. A large piece of ciabatta with plenty of cream cheese, smoked salmon and cucumber.

Tried to visit for an early lunch with our two children. Came in at 11:45- pub and restaurant were literally EMPTY. Was told no space available, not willing to try and accommodate. Very poor customer service.

Busy proper pub with Monday Beer special prices. Locals all enjoying the place.

Crowded Friday evening. Can't complain. I'm here to let off some steam and get a meal and some booze.
