Kingfishers Bar in Perth & Kinross

Visited a few times during our visit. Staff very efficient, table service, details taken each visit (track & trace) , well spaced out and sanitiser available. We hope to be back one day 💗

We visited and sat at a table outside during a holiday in October. There were 5 adults and 2 children from 2 households. It had been raining and the tables were soaking, the waitress said she would get somethimg to dry them. After sitting for 5 minutes a waiter then came and told us the rules were 4 adults and one child but of we asked the man at another table of we could join him they would serve us!! We left! The rules are actually 6 people from 2 households and children don't count why would anyone leave the group they are with to join someone they don't know?! Actually think the rules say can't sit with people don't know! They're loss, went to coffee shop down the road and had had fab coffee and cake with friendly service! Won't be visiting again!!

Went here for our supper last month and the service was excellent. good food plenty of choice too. Not too pricey. Would recommend

No entiendo por qué solo se permiten 4 personas en la mesa cuando en cualquier otro lugar hay 6 personas y no se le permite pagar en efectivo, pero puede jugar a la máquina de frutas con dinero en efectivo. Estaba muy decepcionado de tener que esperar mucho tiempo para pedir bebidas, el personal no nos escuchó o siguió recibiendo el pedido incorrecto, no volverá

El cóctel de gambas más caro y peor que he probado, 8. 95 por unas gambas diminutas, con un poco de lechuga, un poquito de tomate y una rodajita de pepino, ni siquiera pimentón o pan y mantequilla, he pagado menos y he tenido mucho mejor en todos los demás lugares. Principal comestible pero caro para la calidad. Ojalá hubiéramos elegido la pizza, ya que parecía mucho mejor y con una buena relación calidad-precio.

Fuimos a cenar la primera noche porque vimos que tenía buenas críticas. Nos decepcionó un poco. Decidimos ir por la pizza ya que todos parecían felices con ellos y ¡nos encanta la pizza! ¡Más 50% de descuento, así que aún mejor!El único problema fue que cuando conseguimos nuestra comida, una de las pizzas no era la que pedimos. Pedimos la salsiccia pero en su lugar obtuvimos el salami. Decidimos no quejarnos porque parecía que los chicos estaban ocupados y una pizza es una pizza.Estaban deliciosos y el personal fue muy agradable. Pero me temo que no volveríamos porque fue un poco decepcionante. La pinta de los inquilinos también estaba un poco plana, por lo que mi socio nunca la terminó.

Reservamos una noche en el hotel de pescadores, así que cuando vimos que era un 20% de descuento si te alojas en el hotel, fuimos a por él también tiene un excelente menú de pizza. . . como soy un gran fanático de la pizza, esto me hizo feliz. . . margarita para la esposa y el banquete de carne para mí. . . (solo lamento no haber agregado anchoas a mi pizza, no a menudo un lugar hace anchoas) y un lado de papas fritas. . . . Todo bien y si volvemos a Pitlochry, volveremos por más pizza. . . (con anchoa)

Anteriormente pasó por este pub ya que el exterior no es tan atractivo. Sin embargo, atraído por la oferta de pizza, de lunes a miércoles, ¡50% de descuento en pizzas!El personal era muy agradable y amable y la pizza estaba deliciosa. Las bebidas también tenían un precio razonable. Sin embargo, el interior del pub carece de encanto y no necesariamente pasaría una noche aquí.

Recién llegados a Pitlochry, el sol brillaba, elegimos asientos al aire libre, nos atendieron rápidamente y pedimos nuestro almuerzo y bebidas. Las bebidas llegaron inmediatamente y después de una breve espera nuestro almuerzo. La comida era excelente y valió la pena. Habíamos estado antes hace dos años, volveremos.

We went here a few times for lunch and dinner and for a coffee and a pint. All staff were lovely, the atmosphere and decor was lovely too. Plenty room for me to get about with my 4 wheel walker. The food was excellent every time we had something. I would recommend the pizza, pork steaks and definitely the chicken goujons with sweet chilli dip. Chips were amazing too!

Después de llegar al hotel Fishers, vinimos a tomar un par de copas antes de prepararnos para nuestro misterio de asesinato. Pedimos patatas fritas también porque la cena estaba a un par de horas de distancia. Las patatas fritas eran geniales, muy sabroso. Después de nuestro misterio de asesinato, nos detuvimos aquí para tomar un par de copas para terminar la noche. En esta ocasión tenían un cantante que era genial, realmente hizo que la multitud se pusiera en marcha, tocando todo tipo de música. Gran ambiente sin idiotas que suelen estropear la noche. Todos estaban bailando y pasándolo muy bien.

Nos quedamos en el hotel y asistimos a un evento de misterio de asesinato, así que fue más tarde cuando llegamos (alrededor de las 11). El lugar estaba lleno, pero la gente estaba feliz de dejarnos compartir su mesa.A pesar de estar ocupado, el personal hacía que las personas recibieran un servicio rápido y eficiente.Había un solo músico: era bueno y tocaba una amplia selección de música que hacía bailar a la gente.

Very big portions and everything was excellent the fish was good and the chicken gouchones werre fabulous thank you great dining

Fuimos a tomar algo rápido y, con suerte, a comer. Estaba muy decepcionado con el local. La decoración era muy anticuada, necesitaba rehacerse. Si bien la pizza que pasó parecía buena, la impresión general me desanimó. El personal del bar parecía que no podían ser molestados y el área generalmente necesitaba una buena limpieza.

Absolute waste of time. We came in here for lunch around 2pm on a Thursday, before checking in to a nearby hotel and I really wish we didn't.Everything seemed fine at first, the place was very quiet, Neil Young music was playing and the atmosphere seemed pleasant. We sat down, made our choices from the menu and my wife went to the bar to order. There were a few regulars sipping pints along the bar, and a couple of people waiting. And waiting. And waiting. Another couple arrived and were served immediately, causing a lady and her mother to abandon their attempt to get served and storm out, explaining clearly to the barman that they had been waiting for a long time only to be ignored. The barman's response, which seems consistent with other reviewers' experiences, was to shout "Can't you see I'm busy?!" at the lady's mother. He wasn't busy.Another member of staff appeared but when he passed my wife several times with no acknowledgement, it was time to leave, having not even had a chance to order.A pub as quiet as this that is so discouraging to visitors seems a bit suspicious. Maybe it's locals only, maybe the owners need to lose a lot of money fast, but this was more like a hidden camera TV show to see how far peoples' patience can be pushed than a bar/rest in a popular tourist town with MANY other excellent options. I can't stress enough how much this place should be avoided. The fact that two pairs of people had cause to leave within ten minutes (it probably just happens all day every day) because of the 'staff' attitude says it all. Don't waste your time.

Ate here on first night of 3 day break at end of October, place was very busy due to enchanted forest being on, eventually got a table and ordered food for two.Restaurant staff were friendly enough and food served pretty quick, meal itself was tasty and would definately return if in town again.

We came for a bar supper before going to a local tourist attraction. Myself, my father and the kids.Two bar staff very friendly and food was nice, pizza and haggis was lovely, we ordered the kids deserts at time of ordering and I polity asked a gentleman who was on way back to kitchen with plates if we could have our I’ve cream that was ordered as the bar was very busy and I had a stern reply ‘can’t you see I’m busy’ .Not a nice response, it was a simple request to let the kitchen know as he was on way back in there.Anyway, over all food was good, two out three members of staff were nice just a shame that comment tainted our visit.

Entró en el restaurante y fue al bar a ordenar. Dos camareros estaban charlando en el bar unos minutos antes de saludarnos o servirnos. Pedimos una hamburguesa de pollo simple recibí la hamburguesa con toda la salsa y ensalada. Lo enviaron de regreso y me sacaron la mitad (no la totalidad) de la ensalada y me devolvieron el mismo pan todavía cubierto con la salsa que no quería, y el pollo estaba seco.Siento que he pagado 15 por un plato de papas fritas. Vinimos aquí una vez antes y lo disfrutamos, pero después de esta experiencia no volveremos.

Eat here last year and had the best stake burger with red onion chutney and a lovely pudding. Came back today for what I hoped would be another good meal. Went to order and several times the staff looked up to see me waiting to order at bar but no one took me on. Tried saying excuse me and nothing, actually had a woman next to me say she needed to say help to get them to serve her. Ordered 2 macaronis and a breaded scampi, macaroni was very very soft and bland, tasted like tinned macaroni. I love having macaroni at restaurants and pubs but this is the worst iv ever had. My table tried to get a staff members attention but she just blind sided us and didn't even glance at us calling twice before walking off or acknowledging us after she had served her table. The customers she had served also noticed how we were ignored.When leaving we were deciding if we should try getting someone at the bars attention but with the trouble we had just getting cool tap water and then the table service we just left it. During our meal we noticed several times the staff were looking over at us but never approached to see if everything was oklike other establishments do to.

We visited here early on a Saturday evening and shared a pizza. The pizza was good. The bar is big and forms an addition to Fischer's Hotel. Very dated decor but friendly bar staff. Typical pub food. We saw a live band later on in the evening who were very good. Okay but not up to other local standards.

Went in here for a drink about 8.30 in the evening on a midweek night. It was a bit barn-like, overly brightly lit with music absolutely thumping out of speakers all over the room and no atmosphere to speak of. Wasn't massively busy, less than 20 customers, but a small proportion of them were quite rowdy and fairly drunk. There was a lot of very loud swearing and it got pretty uncomfortable with some of the other customers moving further away from them. Kept expecting the staff to step in but they didn't do anything about it so we finished our drinks and left.

The food was really good , we had the Sunday dinner which was beautiful, was impressed at how they wore gloves when dealing with food, good entertainment too.

We had lunch here and it was good! The panini - bacon and mozzarella with olives - was great and my boyfriend enjoyed the Caesar salad

Not much to say to be honest, just an average meal of pub grub in an average pub setting. Nothing special but food will hit the spot.

we visited here last year and thought we would give it another look. could do with brightening up..service and food very good and we enjoyed our meal ,a bit on the high side given that it is more a pub than a restaurant... a lot of swearing f words at the bar which we didnt want to hear but they werent going to be told to tone it down as they were probably regulars and spending money.

The Coach House tiene un gran bar / comedor con un ambiente de bar deportivo definido con televisores en varios lugares.

Fuimos allí esta noche y tuvimos estofado de bistec con hojaldre y pescado y papas rebozado con cerveza. También tuvimos la sopa de lentejas y verduras. La comida salió muy rápido. Mi pescado se deshizo con la frescura y el pastel de estofado de mi marido fue absolutamente increíble. La sopa también era muy deliciosa. Recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que desee una comida abundante a un precio muy razonable.

Decidimos tomar un descanso de las compras y tomar una copa en Coach House, vinculada al Hotel Fishers en el centro de Pitlochry. El bar tenía un cambio de imagen desde nuestra última visita y fue mucho mejor para eso. El personal era amable y el servicio era rápido. Los precios de las bebidas eran justos en nuestra opinión.

We went to this place mainly because it had wheel chair access the food was okay nothing exceptional and it was overpriced in my opinion the service was quick and efficient

Last visited the bar a few years ago (Kingfishers) when it was pretty dowdy and a typical public bar. It has now had a makeover with new furnishings and decor. What a difference to sit in quiet pleasant surroundings. While I did not eat in the far, the meals served appeared to be appetising and of good quality and quantity. Another plus for Fisher's Hotel.

Nice enough place . Drinks very reasonable. Sky Sports on tap so it can get very busy, but we went on a Saturday and there were 5 lads on the bar.

We visited the Coach House a couple times during our stay. The first time there was a live football match on TV. It was busy but lacked character. Unfortunately, it doesn't sell real ale except a single ale in a bottle.

Viajamos desde Irlanda cada Navidad para visitar a la familia, y nuestra tradición del día del boxeo es ir aquí por un par de copas y café. Este año, a mi esposo y mi hijo de 15 años se les mostró la puerta y se les dijo que era ilegal que mi hijo estuviera en el bar, sin pedir comida (lo que por cierto habríamos estado haciendo si nos hubieran dado la oportunidad). Intenté presentar una queja en la recepción del hotel, que es la propietaria del bar, pero la chica que estaba detrás de la recepción ni siquiera podía hacerme saber en qué legislación nos negaron la entrada. Lástima, ya que habíamos estado visitando el bar cada día de boxeo ya que mis hijos eran pequeños. ! ! ! Conocí a unos pocos clientes descontentos que también fueron recibidos ese día. Bah Humbug para ellos es todo lo que puedo decir. ¡Nunca volverás a poner comida en tu local!

I visited this bar during the New Years Day street party. It was obviously going to be very busy but there were only four members of staff working behind the bar, who were in no rush nor monitored which customers had being waiting longest to be served. Three members of staff served a small area of the bar (the corner where the locals stand), the other barman was obviously under pressure, but in no great hurry as he tried to serve customers at the other end of the bar. At one point the barman left the bar to change a barrel and on his return started to serve another customer who gave the barman £20 but then asked why he was being charged £14 for a small glass of wine. The barman was wrongly charging the customer for an additional two pints of Guinness, myself and other customers reminded the barman which customer he had been pouring the Guinness for, before went to change the barrel. At that point the barman threw the £20, in a very aggresive manner, across the bar to the customer and acting in an angry manner. This was an English customer who was visting Scotland to celebrate the New Year being insulted by a foriegn barman. Myself and others thought that the barmans behaviour was totally out of order as it was him that made the error, normally you would expect an apology for being overcharged and certainly not the behaviour in which the barman acted in. We left and went across to the Old Mill Inn where the members of staff were very efficient, helpfull and polite.

Mi amigo y yo estábamos en el bosque encantado. Decidido en el último minuto debido a que todo el mundo está ocupado para venir aquí a cenar. El lugar estaba bastante ocupado pero nos las arreglamos para conseguir una mesa. Rápida mirada al menú y orden colocada. El personal es amable y acogedor. La comida llegó bastante rápido y como se puede ver en la imagen, se ve encantadora y sabe muy bien. Capaz de hacer que nuestro entrenador tenga mucho tiempo de sobra con vientres llenos. Gracias.

Popped in for dinner before the enchanted forest. Service was very good and dinner was served in no time at all. Would happily go back next time we're in the area

Ayer por la tarde, en un viaje al Bosque Encantado y después de terminar nuestras compras en Pitlochry, decidimos sentarnos aquí por el resto de la tarde, tomar una copa y algo de comer y esperar a nuestro entrenador para el bosque.

Apareció para tomar unas copas antes de ir al encantado Forrest. Los precios del bar son realmente justos y tienen un ambiente muy acogedor. Mi única crítica es que debido a la cantidad de televisores, no importa dónde nos sentamos, mi esposo se distrajo con el fútbol que se muestra. Definitivamente regresaremos y planearemos comer algo también.

Good night with live music. Service good too, good mix of people in here and the singer was really, had everyone up dancing the night away. We will be back

Visited this pub whilst having a family gathering in Pitlochry. Definitely not disappointed, atmosphere and music was first class. Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Prices were a we bit on the expensive side but cheaper than most other establishments in Pitlochry. If in this area again would definitely return here.

As a tourist I arrived in this pub by chance and very hungry. The place was very crowded and loud (on a saturday night), so it was very difficult to know how I should do to have a table and place an order. Fortunately a kind men, seeing me lost, told me that I should grab a table and thes place the order at the counter. It may seem logical to you, but in my country we don't do this way. So if I cuold give you a suggestion you might have a paper at the entrance explaining the procedure. However the food was good and I enjoied my meal!

Called in for an evening meal, it took over 40 minutes for two basic meals to arrive leaving us plenty of time to enjoy?? some really loud and often terrible music on the sound system. Glad to leave.

Nice bar which has recently been refurbished, comfortable seating in a spacious lounge area. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. Oh and yes £1.20 cheaper than the Old Mill for the same two 'artisan' drinks. Pity no real ale on tap the day we visited but the Guinness is a good substitute

Had a couple of visits to the coach house, staff very friendly good selection of food and drink well worth a visit if your in town,

Two of us had battered fish and chips, one had steak pie and the other a steak burger. The fish was good as was the steak pie. Unfortunately, the person who opted for the steak burger was a bit disappointed and said it was lacking something to compliment the steak as it was very dry. Nice friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced.

We came here twice for a drink mid-day, second time we had quite a wait as the bar staff were taking food orders and I suppose that the food is bringing in more money than someone just wanting a drink..having said that we saw the food going out to tables and although we didn't need food we will certainly give it a sample next time we are there as empty plates were being returned....it was a welcome relief to sit inside in a quiet surrounding

Nice welcome, we had a very good lunch, the best haggis I've eaten so far (and I'm French!), hte meat was gorgeous nad the Mash fresh.

Went too pitlochry for a night away was really looking forward too going too the coach house as entertainment was brilliant when I had been before but was disappointed too find out the band that was suppose too be playing had been cancelled and no other entertainment on. Heard Friday night's was really good for there live music but what a disappointment

We enjoyed a nice bar lunch here while having a look around the shops in Pitlochry.

popped into The Coach House for a spot of lunch on Sunday afternoon, it did not seem particularly busy , not many people were eating and there was still a few empty tables,even so we waited for about ten minutes before being served at the bar. We had decided to eat there as we had a bus to catch in about an hour so we choose something that we thought would be quick (panini and a bean burger) and if need be we could have left with it and ate on the trot. After waiting for half an hour we asked how long the food would be to which we were told they didn't know. Staff were told that we had to leave to catch a bus which was about a 5-10 min walk to the coach park so we would have to cancel our food order. There was no explanation offered as to why we waited for so long, we were given a half hearted apology and there was no offer of any refund or partial refund.the food, .

40 minutes for fish&chips; and a burger. The restaurant was not crowded, didn’t find any reason to explain why it took so long.

Part of the Fishers Hotel complex the Coach House offers outside seating and a range of beers with a good choice of bar meals.

In here several times for drinks and although we didn’t dine the food that was being served looked very nice. The staff are friendly and smart. Plenty of room and a really nice atmosphere with lots of tables. Completely accessible for wheelchairs etc.

I was in Pitlochry for the day on Saturday and, because it was such a nice day, we decided to go here for lunch as they had a beer garden at the front which looked nice. I ordered the BLT sandwich which i can honestly say is the poorest sandwich i have ever had. First of all, there was no lettuce in the sandwich. Secondly, there was only one bit of bacon on the sandwich and lastly the bread was cheap and a few days past its best! Very disappointed!

This is what you'd call a bar. Currently undergoing a makeover. Hopefully it'll stay as a bar and the makeover won't turn it into the other bars in Pitlochry. Ok, it could do with a new carpet / slight freshen up. Enjoyed a couple of visits to this place. Food looked ok / drinks weren't overpriced / good friendly bar staff. Especially Tommy and Xavier. Friendly locals. Would visit again - has sky sports.

Have visited here before. The food is good and drinks of reasonable price. Bus stop outside for heading North and 2 minute walk to the train station. We popped down from Blair Atholl on the train for lunch.

Good drinks at reasonable prices you can eat here as well service was very good,we had fish and chips very good.

My husband and I stopped here for a bar lunch and whilst the staff were friendly and the service quick, my chicken curry left a lot to be desired. The sauce on it was more of a runny gravy and did not have any real curry flavour. The rice and mini naan bread had obviously been reheated. I ended up eating some of my husbands steak pie which was at least tasty and more edible. The general ambiance of the place was quite scruffy. Would not recommend.

Foods nice staff are great especially Tommy he's a good man have a good laugh with him love the karaoke on a Friday night and they put bands ECT on aswell good night out there

We went here on Friday night expecting to hear some live music as it was advertised. However there was none. Bit of a disappointment. The couple next to us also said they’d come in looking for music.

I have no problem going local when I am in a town or city. Some of the best bars and restaurants can be found ‘off the beaten track’. We went in around 9:30pm and it was busy. A live band had just started and despite them looking around 15 years old, they were really good. The beer was good and the door staff really friendly. There was a mix of peoples inside and most looked to be fine folk out for a night out. There were however a couple of pockets of mainly ‘lads’ that were becoming a bit loud and obnoxious

Had an overnight stay in Fishers and we spent the night in the coach house. We had a meal in the bar and it was very nice.

We did not eat here, but rather came to watch a soccer match on the screens while having some drinks. They listened to our request and actually put the game on all screens despite fact that neither Scotland nor a Scottish team was playing. Maybe we were lucky as most customers had really come for the food and band playing and maybe it was a quiet night for Scottish soccer. After the game we stayed on as the band were good and we played pool in a friendly atmosphere. We decided to leave and find somewhere else with life, but some other places were very quiet indeed, or very full, so and we had to return to the Coachhouse to continue our night out!

Was staying at The Fishers between shifts and had dinner at The coach house. Went to the bar with a colleague and explained we had dinner bed and breakfast booked and asked if we could get food in The coach house. Bar man shrugged and said we had to ask at reception first. Went to reception to ask and got told we had a whopping £15 each to spend. Went back to the bar man and said we had checked and it was ok. His response was a shrug and a "what table are you at and what do you want?"

Staff at the coach house have been a major issue over the last 6-8 years.

Went in for a couple of drinks .don't get me wrong the guy behind the bar was nice .but got a pint of ale old hen and it was off don't think they sell slot of it .so got a red wine. And he filled it right to the top of glass so happy days . Do if you go stay away from the ale .seen the food looked nice enough .pub grub

Was walking down the high street and pooped in here for a pint which was lovely nice friendly atmosphere when we where there lots if people waiting for the bus the go to the enchanted forest light show

Recently returned from our holidays in Pitlochry. This place has to be our worst choice for a meal.We went for am early lunch with our 2 young children, food wasn't great, cheap frozen food and the Cullen skink had 2 tiny pieces of fish, rest was all stock and potato and leek.The biggest problem i had was the intimidating atmosphere by the bar, local men drinking and the bar staff swearing and jeering with locals, not a pleasant atmosphere when kids around. The bad language was particularly loud. From the replies from other reviews sounds like they do not take critism well but really do hope the staff respect their job and customers more.

Very disappointed, we have been here before and can't believe how much the food has gone downhill especially for the price you pay! Worst of all was the steak pie, £13 for a pie that is clearly a frozen single portion (I could get 6 frozen pies from Iceland for that price and much better quality!) the inside was almost grey not 1 bit of veg and tiny scraps of "meat" pastry wasn't cooked either which is typical for a cheap frozen pie! Menu needs updating and prices need to reflect the quality that you are happy to serve, won't ever return for food in fact my family were in the night before and have since said the same. It's very easy to get it right, fresh quality ingredients which you can clearly afford charging those prices.......

We had been out and about and it began to rain, so we dashed into this place to enjoy a late lunch and to wait for the rain to stop. We enjoyed burgers and chips (fries) mushy peas.

My husband and I popped in here for a casual lunch and it was easily the worst decision we made in our entire 2-week trip in Scotland. It started harmlessly enough with the waitress behind the bar not understanding what beer I wanted, presumably due to a language barrier, and so I pointed at the one I wanted from the display row of beers on top of the refrigerator chest that the beers are stored in. She took the room temperature display beer - instead of one of the cold ones in the fridge - opened it before I could ask her for a cold one, and set it in front of me. I should've asked right then for a cold one, but this one was already open and I didn't want to be that picky American tourist. I'd also read before the trip that sometimes beer is served at room temp in the UK, so figured I'd give it a try, but this bottle was covered in dust and definitely meant to be kept on display and not served to paying guests... For food, my husband ordered a burger and I ordered the "roasted vegetable burger" because I'm a vegetarian. They were a whopping £13, which is incredibly expensive compared to our other meals, but we assumed they must be worth it. What arrived were a couple of sad little burgers, mine especially. It looked like a supermarket-brand little processed chicken patty, so I cut it in half and slid it over to my husband to take a test bite, after which he confirmed that it did in fact seem to be a chicken patty. We asked the waitress about it and she insisted it was a veggie burger, and then she brought the manager over, who also argued that it was a veggie burger. I asked if they were sure, because the menu said it's a "roasted vegetable burger" and there was not a trace of a vegetable in the patty, only what seemed to be mealy white chicken meat. After some more arguing they took it away and we asked for the check. The waitress then told me that there were actually two different kinds of veggie patties that they serve (even though the "roasted vegetable burger" is the only thing on the menu that would require a veggie patty), and the kitchen was currently making me another one with the other veggie patty. It seemed very much like they accidentally served me meat, wouldn't just admit it and take the thing away, and then tried to serve me what I actually ordered, all without any sort of appology. Really, really disappointing. We paid for the warm beer and my husband's over-priced uneaten burger and went down the street to a place with much better, and less expensive food. Do not waste your time with this place (unless you want dusty, warm beer and a chicken patty).

We ate hear at first but it was very expensive £13 for macaroni and chips. Tasted nice but not worth the money, crowd of locals sat at the bar using offensive language was a definite put off.

Down market venue...but good food. Fantastic chips. Excellent, generous, service. Comprehensive menu.

Nice place busy on Friday and Saturday night entertainment on . They do a good selection of food and drinks and service was attentive and you never waited long to be served.

Wir bestellten hier Haddock und Maccaroni. Erstere für 10 GBP, Letzere 9,50. Die Fish&Chips Portion die wir dann bekamen war gelinde gesagt übersichtlich, allein der Fisch hatte die halbe Größe der Filets, die wir auf Skye bekamen. Die Portion Macccaroni war in einem Schälchen, das ich sonst von Frühstückbuffets für Jogurt kenne und wurden auch mit Pommes serviert. Die Qualität war mittelmäßig, nichts besonderes, aber auch nicht wirklich schlecht, für eine Bar ausreichend, denke ich.Bestellen und bezahlen, wie in Bars üblich, mussten wir in der Bar an der Theke, wo wir auch unsere Getränke bekamen, das Essen wurde uns nach draussen gebracht.Vielleicht als Bar ok, aber zum Essen zu teuer.

Didn't stay in hotel, nor did I eat here so unable to comment on this, however this bar was recommended to me by someone who visited the town often as the lively place in Pitlochry, wasn't wrong either, great bar friendly staff/security and the locals where also nice to speak to, very busy pub, live band etc friendly atmosphere and 2 pool tables only 50p a game, wish I had booked and stayed tbh rather than staying at the hydro up the road as staff were much more friendly, I'd recommend for anyone looking for a fun filled night in Pitlochry !!

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered fish and chips and macaroni. Macaroni was terrible and covered in grease. Felt terrible afterwards. Drinks weren't great either guiness was stale - wouldn't recommend or rush back

Was very disappointed with bar lunch , a few days ago. Had chosen this establishment as was unable to book into hotel for the night and thought at least we could have a meal on our day trip to Pitlochry. . My burger was dry and the chips were awful. The haggis neaps and tatties were very unappetising. Wish I had went elsewhere.

Ate here on the Sunday after the Caledonian Etape - although the place was busy, the food came very quickly and was hot and tasty. The menu had a good choice of meals, including vegetarian options, and was not too expensive.

This restaurant is attached to Fishers hotel and as we were staying there we ate in. Very nice food at a reasonable cost. The bar staff were very friendly

Had decent panini's asked for a bottle of bud and a wine and was charged £9 thinking this was a little expensive I asked for the receipt only to be told the other barman had used to the till and only his receipt was available, WHAT BULL, either the guy serving me didn't know how a till roll works and also wasn't aware it's actually law to provide the customer with a sales receipt and not to assume I won't ask for it. Till rolls record all sales and print all receipts so why I was told "it doesn't provide receipts" clearly wasn't worth debating, we finished our food and left without any receipt which wouldn't have been a problem but to be offered such lame excuses was just not worth continuing with.

My wife and I enjoy a game of pool and as there were two tables within the Coach House we decided to call in, have a drink and a game of pool. Paul on the bar was very friendly and served a great pint. The pool tables were good quality and only 50p per game. Honours were even between my wife and I by the 2nd night so all in all a good visit. Didn't have a meal here so cannot comment but all in all a nice end to the evening. Thanks

Chose the coach house rather than the hotel restaurant. Food was excellent and well priced. Whilst part of Fishers Hotel the Coach House is also a busy local pub.

Nice welcome and great food. Very good service and Carolina deserves a mention for being so attentive and friendly.

Went here with the hubbys they like the beer here so we had our drinks too very good relaxing place been on our last trip to Pitlochry so was first port of call every time

We were staying in the hotel but ate here as we did not like food in hotel. Food was good but staff need to learn the art of conversation. Ordered our food,only words spoken by staff "what table are you sitting at". Would not hurry back.

My Wife and I called in to the Coach House last Saturday Night for a Drink and ended up staying until closing time.The atmosphere was good and the Guy singing was excellent.A nice place to spend a Saturday evening.

If you visit pitlochry call in to The Coach House for a lunch or an evening out .I called in twice once for lunch and once for an evening out with my wife and 2 friends and we all enjoyed both, the lunch was very nice and the live music on the Saturday night was very entertaining. When we go back to Pitlochry we will certainly call in again and hopefully find the same friendly staff that we meet on our previous visit.

This pub next to Fishers is a delight well used by locals and tourists alike with a good menu and choices welcoming staff and feel good atmosphere There is live music at the weekends and I can see this is one of the places to come for a good night out

Friendly pub with great food, we stopped in on a whim and stayed for a couple of hours. At the time of year we went it was mostly locals but made us feel welcome

No frills pub connected to a hotel. Limited choice of beer other than lagers and poor selection of gin. More a lads sports bar, than a nice place for couples.

great evening live entertainment, good atmosphere. friendly bar staff.Although we didn't eat, the meals we did see coming out looked good!!
