Been here several times with my daughter,granddaughters and friends. The food and service is always really good. This time was no exception. Luke is a credit to your team,very polite and attentive.

We regularly visit & have never been disappointed. Always delicious food & a great experience. However this time we would also like to do a huge shout out the our waiter, Luke. He was just lovely & went above & beyond while serving us. Such a polite, kind young man - thank you Luke!

Stumbled across this beautiful pub on the way home. Instantly greeted by friendly staff. The food was delicious. Had the sage roasted chicken breast from the specials menu. 100% recommend. Unsure if it was the manager. Blonde lady was lovely.

Last minute drop in on a busy Friday. The landlady seated us at a nice quiet table and staff were very friendly and helpful. No waiting for drinks or food. Went for Philly Cheese Steak (highly recommend) will be back again in the near future 5/5!!!!!

The pub itself is homely with a great beer garden that kids can enjoy, the food and drinks choice is lovely but what makes it great is the warming staff. Would definitely recommend.

For those 1 star reviews back in 2016 i think you should really reconsider and re visit the food was amazing the service was amazing very friendly and welcoming staff, food portions where generous and just enough both for mains and dessert and reasonably priced. My wife, family and I had a fantastic time and we will be 100% revisiting at some point in the future thank you to the staff for giving my wife a great birthday evening.

I recently spent a day in The Kingfisher pub with friends. The weather was lovely so we sat outside in the beer garden. It’s really spacious and has a climbing area for the kids. We had some lunch which was lovely and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere in the pub was great with everyone having an amazing day. The staff were brilliant and served us with a smile. Our waitress Jenna, was really helpful and attentive. I will definitely be back to The Kingfisher!

I am a regular visitor of The Kingfisher as it is our local pub. The service is always top notch and it is very family friendly!! To be acknowledged every time we go in adds a lovely personal touch, even though we don't always have something to eat the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff is outstanding!! My family ate at The Kingfisher tonight and we couldn't fault it. Of particular note was the excellent homemade cheese and onion pie, all washed down with the best pint of San Miguel around. We got great service from the team especially James, Ross and Mia. Thanks for a great night.

The Kingfisher has been my local for a couple of years now. I spend at least two days a week here either for alcohol drinks, a delicious meal (particularly the cheese and onion pie), or to participate in the weekly Thursday quiz.

This was our second visit and yet again I was very impressed. We returned because I wanted to try their roasts and I wasn't disappointed, it was the best I have had in a long time (and I'm a fussy eater!) It was so tasty, veg cooked just how i like it and a decent portion The service was great from start to finish, and they were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The place was very clean and I would definitely recommend. Five stars all round. Well done, will come back again.

Poor food presentation and bland food! Chicken pasta dish had a watery sauce, overcooked pasta and little flavour! Very dis-appointing especially as listed on the 'specials' board! There was nothing special about this not even the response to the feedback. We were asked whether everything was ok with the food. This was right at the end just to clear the table not during the food. I fed back that I wasn't impressed; the dish was bland, tasteless and I left most of it. The only reply was, "sorry about that"! Then followed immediately with "does anyone want desserts"? That reaction plus poor food is not a quality customer experience. Recommend you save your money; plenty of other places will provide better quality food & customer focus!!

We've tried this pub in the past and were disappointed with the food. But yesterday we were so impressed! A new menu offers something for everyone and every dish was cooked to perfection. Really tasty dishes and the best chips in the area! What made the evening so special however was the efficiency and politeness of the staff. They simply couldn't do enough for us. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. Keep up the great work.

We're lucky enough to have this lovely pub as a local and we regularly visit for food, drinks or sometimes just a coffee in the sun so that our two year old can play in the park.

Went for a couple of drinks and bite to eat. Drinks expensive, food below average - both had burger & chips served on wooden board not very tasty. Not great service, would save my money next time - much better places within the area.

Not from around the area, popped in early afternoon with my partner before an appointment. Being the first food order of the day we ended up waiting 40 minutes for food, staff were apologetic and advised due to an error the order was not submitted to the kitchen, we were offered a free drink however due to the delay didn’t have much time to eat which did ruin the lunch.

We ordered the large Messy Chips to share between two of us. What arrived would count as a side order anywhere else and would be a third of the price. £6 for a handful of chips with a few blobs of meat and cheese on top. See photo. It was nice but far too small a portion for the price.

This is a chain pub with a straightforward menu that represents a good range of value for money options. There is a selection of well-kept real ales, served by knowledgeable staff. The pub is spacious and the atmosphere is relaxed. Aside from the food it's a nice place for just a drink. It's family-friendly and there is also seating outside.

Called in, not for first visit but first with a dog. We sat out side. Fresh water was brought to the table for the dog. He had complementary dog biscuits from the bar.

Met friends, ordered meal which was in fairness, very good. However, the evening was spoilt when a customer arrived with a dog, was not only allowed to bring the dog into a place where we were eating, but then proceeded to sit the dog on the bar stool....! Bar staff allowed this & neither the owner nor the staff showed any regard for the other customers when the dog continued to bark & whimper !!! Sadly this is NOT a place I would recommend if you just want to meet friends & have a meal and chat in peace....!!! Will not be visiting again.

Had a meal outside on a nice evening. Menu varied and good choices. We all had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Staff were very friendly and dogs are allowed inside too. Doggie treats an the bar which is a nice touch. Will definitely go again.
