Prompt service. Excellent quality. Very good size portions. We've tried several local chippies over the years. This is without doubt the best. Worth travel to.

We came for an ice hockey tournament and looked at reviews for this place and WOW absolutely amazing fish and chips...so ice hockey lads do the 12 minute drive from the ice rink you won't be disappointed...huge portions too!! Came here for a ice hockey tournament and did the 12 minutes trip from the rink after reading best chippy in Hull WOW they were right absolutely amazing fish and chips huge portions aswell and really lovely staff to top it off. Absolute gem of a chippy, if you want to feed a family of four order a large fish and chips it is huge, I have been using this place for a while and it does not disappoint I drive across town for it. Always happy welcoming staff, nicely packed food and great quality and value.

Absolutely fantastic First time using this fish shop as they are not situated near me and they don't deliver to my area. That is until now. I have heard many good reviews on line but I can honestly say it was absolutely fantastic/out of this world. First time we have eaten the batter off any fish ever. The fish was glorious .You could tell it was fresh so white and flaky and chips were gorgeous and mushy peas also. Very generous portions and very reasonable price. Absolutely impressed and will be recommending to friends and family. Also very happy that they now deliver to my area.

We bought 4 large fish & chips , 1 carton of curry, 1 carton of mushy peas & a large unbattered sausage it was all freshly cooked it was red hot even when we drove home, really delicious food, Excellent customer service, they was really nice people serving, we got some freebies for such a large order which was very kind & thoughtful, we wasnt waiting very long either great prices for quality food.

I wanted to put on a large fish & chip dinner for 56 people. The staff were awesome and very helpful and kept me abreast of the pick-up time nearer the date of collection. The food was ready when promised, complete with all the fixings!! The fish were very large, hot, crispy and went down a storm with my colleagues. We only go to the Endike lane branch and it is *so* good. The staff are much friendlier and the fish is melt in the mouth, the chips are soft and tasty and not those awful bits of shrapnel you get most places. Highly recommend it😋

The Hull Northern Social Club as part of their regular Friday evening activities at the HU6 Community Hub, held a fish & chip tea for the members. The service & quality was first class as they had to deal with our order and serve the other customers at the same time. It’s been a while since I last visited as I live in Aldbrough but I couldn’t resist the drive back down for THE best fish and chips in Hull and surrounding areas. I visited Hull for football last season and had a fantastic bag of chips at Papa's in Bilton. This season's trip was going to involve a repeat visit, but after checking Trip Advisor and seeing quite a few recent reviews saying that it had gone downhill, I decided to go to the second ranked chip shop in Hull (King Fisher) instead - BIG MISTAKE. The highlight of the trip was the really friendly young lady who served me but the food was very poor. The portion of chips was extremely small, and they were cold. The fish was hidden inside a vert tasty batter but it was so greasy. The fish itself was so small. Anyway, next season, I'm going elsewhere. Don't think I'd ever recommend this place to anyone.

We recently held a social evening for our group Hull Northern Social Club, we required 50 servings of fish & chips. They certainly came up with the goods everyone was served with a hot supper and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We would like to thank them for making our night a success and we will certainly be coming back.

Kingfisher provided food for 26 people today for our over 60's group. From ordering right through to eating was 5 star. Easy, friendly, helpful. Put all indivdual meals in boxes, labelled the bags clearly, ready on time and the food was still hot. Our order changed the morning of delivery and this was not an issue at all.
