King of the grill in Torbay

Ordered 2 kebabs not as good as they used to be , the chicken was very greasy and the salad didn’t turn up so won’t be ordering again

I have been using this takeaway for a number of years and it’s got worse every time I have had a takeaway this year but last night the chicken Shish was off ! When you opened the wrapping it had an odd the smell but the taste was dire the chicken was off not every piece but a lot don’t take the risk eat somewhere else it’s not worth the risk. I think it’s changed hands recently the young English guy on the fryer is pleasant but the two other staff looked dirty

I've been a customer here for quite a few years and for much of that time it rated as one of the best kekabs in town. In recent months the last few I had were pretty average BUT the one I had tonight was the very worst. The chips were hard and dry and had obviously been sat around for quite some time BUT the worst was the chicken - it smelt off when I opened up the wrapping. I initially thought this might be down to changing the marinade BUT any doubt was taken away when i tasted it. The chicken was definitely off with a weird vinegary taste and maybe slightly fizzy. The salad looked old - like a couple of days old or more. I've just wasted £25 on food that had gone into the bin. Please don't put your health at risk by getting food from here. Only one of the staff appears to speak English, the others seem offhand and uninterested and that really now shows.

After waiting 20 minutes to receive 2 burnt pizzas, to then return them and wait a further 25 to receive replacements, as they were cooking orders for delivery is unacceptable. The pizzas were doughy, tasteless and soggy. Would I eat here again? Never. Don't waste your money, better of eating elsewhere.

Great little place, only place I know in South devon that do Buy 1 get 1 free on pizza. They will also customise to your liking as I don't like tomato base so he made me a pizza with garlic base instead, and I have to admit it was blinking gorgeous, a layer of garlic, layer of chicken, layer of sweetcorn and finally the cheese. It was the best pizza I've had in a while that's for sure. The kids love the kebabs from there too. Well done lads!

We had not had a chicken sheesh, kebab for a very very long time. It was full of flavour plenty chicken + salad thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

Had to wait a long time first in and last out! Gravy was lumpy and cold. Fish was tasteless no flavour to the batter and soggy. Chips were all different colours so they had been re fried. Staff member was seen picking at the fried fish counter and eating it whilst stood serving and then picked up cheese to put in my cheeseburger without washing his hands. I was charged for a large fish when I asked for a small. Very unhappy considering on the wall it says award winning I think they must of printed that themselves !!

Old and dry meat... Meat taste like been made at least few days ago. Food poisoning - guaranteed

Absolutely horrendous bad stomach within 15 minutes of eating a kebab from here . Both my self and my teenage son who both had kebabs were horrendously ill whilst the other two members of the family who didn’t have it were not . Lasted 3 hours and still not right even then . Absolutely no doubt in our minds what caused it . Will never ever order from here again . Seriously considering reporting to environmental health

Come to Devon from London and went to this kebab shop based on the good reviews. However it was a let down. Had to wait nearly 30 minutes for my food even though the shop wasn’t busy. Portion sizes small. The donor meat was tasteless and wafer thin. The chicken was dry. Seasoning wasn’t that nice. Had better kebabs from a chip shop. Don’t really understand how this shop has won awards compared to other kebab shops in London it was pants avoid if your looking for a nice kebab. The ketchup and burger sauce tasted like vinegar

Ordered cheeseburger with no sauce - received a burger with no cheese and some wierd sauce all over it ! Chicken shish was amazing though - so not all bad !!!

The food was absolutely DISGUSTING. Do not order from here. we complained and asked for a refund, they hung the phone up and told us not to ring again.

Ordered for the 1st time & will definitely be ordering again. 2 x Half Pounder with cheese was spot on. Proper chips as well not fries. Decent price as well. Well done guy's.

Since new owners few weeks ago ordered chips they came with cheese on. Then last night ordered and collected and the chips was so over done but pizzas was good .

Ever since Jason sold shop lease to Australian Turk manager and similar new staff the food quality is down 50 to 70 percent (depending on order), accuracy of orders down 20 percent, language understandability is through the floor, the only thing that has improved is the delivery personnel team. Jason, take back the lease before business goes under in 6 months or less.

This place used to be really good but has gone down hill massively. Burnt and hard pitta, overcooked, dry meat, old salad, smaller portions, at £12 a kebab you expect a lot more. Was still hungry and very unsatisfied. Won’t bother ordering again.

Ordered around 7, instantly allocated the delivery to be 8:05-8:25, so already planned for over an hour. Got to 8:24 and an extra 20 minutes got added making it 8:25-8:45. Said ‘On It’s Way’ about 8:30. Got to 8:50 and still no food, had to send an alert to restaurant and received a new time of 9PM. Arrived a few minutes before this, somehow still warm although it had apparently been out for nearly 30 minutes. Food was okay, some parts over cooked and dry but others good. Not likely to order again.

The worst chips I've ever eaten, they resembled leftover stale chips. Donner meat is very average , pitta bread dry. Delivery was on time, curry sauce was nice so not all negative, but the rest of the meal was to a very poor standard, not what I expected after reading the reviews before ordering.

Would love to enter the establishment in my power wheelchair, but I unable to because Jason the owner refuses to keep his promise to install a ramp to make the establishment wheelchair accessible, even after almost a year of empty promises.

Ordered a pizza and it was buy one get one free, the pizza dough was soft and totally undercooked and the toppings were tasteless, one of the worst if not worst I've had

Never had a bad kebab in my life, but I've had tast3d some pretty boring ones. Think this is the first time I tried this place however and it was great. The driver was very friendly and happy, delivery was earier than stated which is always good, the kebab was done the way I like it, not soggy with grease and a little charring on the skin. The pita was edible unlike most places which are soaked in grease. I think the winner however had to be the chips. Again I have to compare to other kebab places which do boring frozen fries. Only two places I've been to so far in my life do resl chios. A place in Newton, and this place! Chip portion could have been bigger having asked for a large,but otherwise a great meal and value for money. Will be happy to order again 😁

As always the food was delicious. The delivery driver was very polite and happy. I definitely would recommend anyone to use them.

Kebabs med are small little tub salad and no chips ,will not get from here again very exspensive for what you get

It was a long wait for the food, particularly as we had children, it was almost bedtime when it arrived. Kids meals left much to be desired. Both children left all their chips as it was a huge portion that was over facing. Our shish kebabs were very nice, lots of tasty meat and salad.

Firstly: On order requested to NOT have coleslaw on the diner kebab Delivery was due between 9.45-10.05. At 10.09 I called restaurant and was told driver just left (I live 5 minutes away via vehicle/15 minutes on foot from restaurant) at 10.22 I called again as still no food and was told he had delivered to someone else first and was now 5 minutes away from me. 10.35 food arrived. On opening the kebab found coleslaw mixed in with the salad so was unable to remove as was mixed with the salad and the liquid of the coleslaw had leached down to the meat a.d bread underneath rendering it inedible. Even if it had been removable from the top someone requesting NO coleslaw due to an allergy would not have been able to eat it regardless. Very dangerous and very poor service. The garlic mayo which I requested ON the kebab was served in a separate pot rather than on the kebab which I also found strange.

Ordered some chips tonight as a treat as I saw award winning out side in a form of a big banner I sorry but chips were not nice had black bits on then hard crispy bits and not tasty at all the tasted re heated sorry very disappointed

Best kebabs in Torbay. They do the salad separately, so you can put the amount you want yourself. a huge choice of sauces. Chicken kebab, you can actually taste the chicken. Delivery spot-on.

And small portion and value I was very disappointed Your delivery driver came with a brilliant awesome friendly attitude Made sure my order was correct and with a good smile and humour He followed my instructions and called me before what lead to a perfect transaction I was very impressed with him and his service

So disappointed tonight :-( food took an hour and a half to be delivered (on a Monday ! ) and after waiting weeks for the fried chicken machine to be available again, was devastated to find no crispy coating on any of the chicken pieces like they have always done it, it was literally just chicken deep fried. The food was hot which is a plus, and the burger was nice but the chicken and the delivery time really let the meal down and has left us feeling like we should have ordered somewhere else :-( very sad as usually love this place.

Will be getting my order again

Although the food was tasty (as always), the service on this occasion was v.poor - well over an hour to get our food and Luke warm at best… disappointing +++

Food was late , some items from the order was missing and the items that arrived were cold. However, takeout did provide replacement and arrive very quickly. Shame this was not the standard on the first attempt.

Pizza's where warm and tasted really nice. Mixed kebab wasn't so good. Chicken was burnt and very small pieces, Donna meat was ok tho.

Quality food as usual - the downside was the pitta bead in with the meat was so greasy it went straight in the bin , Pitta bread wrapped separately would be much better !

Normally a good service but this time chips were dry and cold and curry sauce was very watery. Battered sausage was over done.

Food was nice as always however, portion was TINY for a large chips. When I go in and order into the shop its a good portion so I was super disappointed to see maybe a handful of chips at most.

Orders 1 medium kebab with no salad and Mayo and 1 large kebab with salad and Mayo with the smallest bit off salad with looked like a small 1 large chips and a 9 inch garlic cheese bread it cost me £36.10 they charged me £6.00 for some greated cheese the food was not nice full off grease will not be going back there again

First time coming here with my partner, staff were friendly, portion size was more than expected and tasted perfect. Big menu, lots of choice at fair prices. Will definitely recommend!
