I visited today and ordered king size Amritsari naan and some chicken gravy. I never tasted such delicious food ever in London at a cheaper price. It is the best place to find good Indian food. The food is so fresh and tasty. King naan is so big and a good amount of stuffing inside. Staffs are so friendly. I highly recommended this place. I'll be visiting again very soon with friends.

So I’m going to give this restaurant a 5* rating. The meal was really very nice and is excellent value for money. We spent £33 for 4 people for dinner which really isn’t bad. Their main sell is their range of stuffed naan breads but actually we mainly had their currys which were lovely. The restaurant is fairly basic (you need to order and pay at the till up-front) and as long as you are not expecting the Ritz then you should be ok. The only downsides were the fact the the restaurant was a bit cold and also that the rose Lassi didn’t seem to taste of rose at all (just had some red syrup over a plain lassi) but otherwise the food was good. I wish I had ordered the plan naan as some other people were having that and it looked nice. The other thing was that the rice portions were nice and big, but the pilau rice wasn’t very “pilau” (no spices, fragrances etc). I know the restaurant is new and I wish them the best of luck.

Authentic Mumbai Vadapau 👍😋 we tried panipuri as well but it wasn't that great. Restaurant hygiene needs to be improved. Otherwise will try again for main dishes soon. Try it. Review it.thanks

The food was excellent! My husband got vegetable samosas and chicken tikka for starter and lamb biryani for main. He said everything was sublime! My vegan dishes instead were tarka daal for starter (best I’ve ever had) and a peanut/coconut aubergine curry (which was out of this world!!!) with a delicious side of green beans fried with spices and coconut shavings. Service very attentive and polite as well as knowledgeable in terms of ingredients, making sure everything I ordered was vegan. A polite suggestion for the kitchen staff to be a bit quicker, as they took just over 1.5 hours to prepare 3 starters and 2 mains for the two of us (and there was only another table with guests in the restaurant, as we went early, as soon as they opened at 6pm. I don’t want to imagine how many hours it would have taken if the restaurant was busy. But a great experience all in all and we will definitely return!

Aromatic authentic Indian cuisine couldnt rate higher food or service the tastiest curries in Derbyshire Having being privileged enough to taste home cooked authentic Indian previously once upon a time -i have never found a restaurant or takeaway that could live upto that hence avoid Usual takeaways laden with grease or cooked fast from a basic sauce then altered or quick sauces without slowly tenderising the meat has been my experience elsewhere The food at Aroma lounge most definitely is not just a quick curry it is made beautifully with care and the only place i would trust for authentic Indian food made with care and exquisite knowledge tender meat rich tasty curries not just far above average but beyond evident in every delicious mouthful Lamb saag/gosht the winner everytime A personal favourite if in the area worth the drive anywhere in the locality which is a treasure in Derbyshire plus the owners staff and delivery drivers are second to none - they go the extra mile with customer care adhering to personal tastes and truly care about what they do Couldnt rate higher As a woman on her own lovely to feel confident in their respectful delivery drivers and service Thankyou again Aroma
