Really wholesome home style food cooked well. The thali was presented nicely and was the portion sizes were really good. Give them a try.

We tried Grilled Vadapav, Misal Pav. Both were unique and indian taste. Their pav are specially made Mumbai style (not like other restaurants using warburtons) which is itself hard to get in UK. Must try Lemon Soda (it’s like Indian Street Food Soda) ☺️ Mango Lassi was nice. Service was great. Over All we had a good experience.

Lovely place for some good Maharashtrian food. Vada pavs have authentic Mumbai taste. Pretty decent Indo Chinese. Chat items were lovely too. Kokam sharbat was a hit. Overall a fantastic place with very modest owners who go the extra mile to make your experience wonderful.

Absolutely authentic taste brought to Kenton. must try their food, especially vadapav, pavbhaji. Their pav are specially made Mumbai style which is itself hard to get in UK.

I don't recommend this place who is a real foodie and know the actual taste of any item. I did order the food based on their name name "Mumbaikar" expecting Indian taste or Mumbai Taste. The food quality and portion size was below the average & not at all nearby compared to the local fast food restaurants like SKVP or Amol's or Shree Sai vadapav. I did put notes while ordering, but it was overlooked. It looks like they never check the notes from the customers. Please visit them if you want to spend extra money for below average food.

The restaurant is spacious and the ambience, lighting is quite welcoming. We were late on a Saturday night but the Restaurant staff and owners were quite happy to take our customised orders. Food on the menu card offers a very rare North Karnataka and Maharashtrian vegetarian food. We were told every food is prepared fresh. They have a great chef who served us magic. For 90’ we spent in the restaurant - it felt like we were in Mumbai! Highly recommend dining in here..

We went on my birthday with my family. The food was delicious.

I wanted to buy a quick snack and decided to try the Cheese Burst Vadapav. Initially I thought the price was a little steep for what I ordered but once I tried it my reservation changed immediately. It literally felt like the best Vada Pav I have had till date. Everything was freshly made and inside the Vada it had Cheese inside when was a joy to eat. The Spice level was bang on the money and I didn't have to tell them to make it mild, it was perfectly spiced. The Pav (Bun) was super soft and tasty. As it was a takeaway order the Vada Pav came in a decent box with few extra tissues in a white bag. My overall experiences was good. I would definitely visit again as not only the food was good but also because the staff were super friendly and attentive.

Ordered Chilli Paneer yesterday, Worst chilli paneer eaten till date. Not recommending anyone

The staff and service was excellent. The food was perfect and most appealing is that it isn't too spicy which makes you feel uncomfortable. The staff gave suggestions for their best dishes and to be honest the VadaPav was and excellent mention. In terms of prices, cannot complain it is perfect set.

Vadapav, usal Vada, was good. Size of Samosa can be big. It was so small for £3.5. Overall satisfactory

Food took a while for collection but perfectly made and worth the wait. Wada pav had two tasty chutneys and nice touch of crispy bits included. Potato pawa was tasty and papdi chaat well presented. Looking forward to trying different things from the menu.

This is authentic maharashtrian restaurant. We tried the thali, bhel puri, sabudaana vada and veg manchurian. Every item was perfectly spiced and authentic. We loved the restaurant ambiance and the food. The service was fab. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting London and came across this place in harrow. Upon entering the restaurant, I was awe struck with the vibrant and inviting ambience. Makes me feel like home with their touch of Indian culinary skills. I was excited to try out their vada pav and Mumbai Tava Pullav. The Maharastiyan Gujarati Thali was something new to me and I loved the dish . I look forward to returning to try more dishes from their menu and treat my taste buds with Indian street food. It’s a place I would recommend to anyone seeking an authentic taste of India in the heart of London.

Personally I thought the paneer Kathi roll was sooo average and overpriced for what it was. The paneer tasted like normal raw paneer in a roll. The green chutney was probably the worst green chutney I have ever had and it ruined the other dishes. They forgot to add cheese in our grilled cheese sandwich.

The best place to enjoy the real taste of Mumbai in UK... Their vadapav is scrumptious... It really reminded me the taste of Mumbai 's original vadapav.. We tried their ukadiche modak as well.. The taste was so authentic.. Truely made keeping in mind maharastrian cuisine.. Hakka noodles, fried rice Dahipuri and sevpuri was amazing as well.. After a long time, we got that Truely Mumbai taste here in UK.. Service was also timely. Good luck to you guys.. We will surely love to visit again..

Had a full thali, and it was just perfect!

Ordered Schezwan Grilled Vadapav, Masala Tea and Pav Bhaji - Both the dishes were way below the expectations. The tea was cold and didn’t even feel anywhere close to the Masala tea. Above all the place was boiling at 7 pm, we were sweating and felt like running out..! I don’t think we would like to visit.

I thought the place was OK. We had cheese vada pau, chilli paneer and pau bhaji. I was pretty hungry when we got there and the food took 30 mins to come! The service was really slow and they didn't explain to us it was going to be slow. I wanted to order more but decided it would be better to go home and eat. The chilli paneer we were told whether we want it dry or with gravy. We went for semi gravy but it turned out to be a soup with fried paneer. This was an unusual take on chilli paneer which I would not choose again. It tasted fine but maybe a better description would be paneer soup. Also the price was around £8 and it seemed like we got st most 10 cubes of paneer! I thought the pau bhaji was OK if a bit salty. Whilst the service was OK and they made us feel welcome I wish they were upfront about the slow service. I am unlikely to go back but it is worth a try based on the other reviews. Maybe we went on an unfortunate day.

High price , tiny portion , sticky tables , drity cutlery and slow service. They seriously need to work on their portion sizes , Wouldn't recommend it . Feels like a ripp off . There are better places out there with cheaper prices and better portion sizes .

One of my friend recommended this restaurant, which was opened recently. Since part of the restaurants name was Vadapav, I had to try the classic vadapav. What can I say? It was appetising! I also tried the misal pav, which was so edible. Indulging these street foods reminded me of when I used to have vada pav on Mumbai's streets during college times. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try authentic Mumbai street food. Staff and owner are very kind and understanding. Brilliant ambience - maybe add music to make it even better. Such a disappointment overall! Although nice restaurant furnishing, everything else deserves zero stars. Empty restaurant, no music, no atmosphere. Food leaves a lot to be desired. Vada Pav are tasteless, which is shame as this is what this place is supposed to be all about. The green chutney was milder then water! Seems its been watered down to beyond a joke. The imli chutney was a tiny bit better but not a lot. Misal Pav was OK. Chilli Paneer was small portion of paneer with peppers in a runny manchurian soup.. it was NOT chilli paneer as expected. Also, seems very expensive for type of snacky street food it serves, as other local venues are more competitive with quality tasty food. This place has so much potential, that it is sad that in its early days the impression left is very negative.

Pavbhaji is very yummy, but I don't like vada pav less salt,less spicy and expensive, misal taste is yummy but compared too price quantity is very small and don't use bombay mix farsan used others, then maharashtrian thali only mataki usal is very nice, varan bhat is very dry, please used turdal for varan, batata bhaji is also very mashed, puri is very oily I am typical maharashtrian woman I don't like your maharashtrian thali

Vadapav is the dish the place Is named after so specially went there to try it well it was good but not as good as I expected it to be, I had cheese burst vadapav but there was hardly any cheese in the vada and the pav was bit too dry, the masala tea had way too much masala overpowered the flavour of the tea, paneer roll was great, the staff is Usp including the owner himself very friendly and ready to take the suggestions, the place is a bit overpriced considering other places with similar quality in the same area. Still I would give another try to see them at their best

Excellent food!! Both vada pav and pav bhaji were too good. I would say best pav bhaji in London for Indian taste as most of the other pav bhaji I have eaten in London are bland or taste like tinned tomatoes. This pav bhaji is what you would get in most restaurants in Mumbai. The pav is also specially baked ladi pav you get in India and not supermarket bap buns this surely adds to the authentic taste. My wife ordered the Maharashtrian thali which was also good.

This place is a lovely place which just opened up. If course I had to try it out. So I got some food and it was amazing. But there was one problem, I was going to ring to order food in advance but they only had email. I'm sure this will be sorted out though. Otherwise, it's a lovely place with a lovely owner.

Yesterday, I tried Asal Misal and Vadapav, it made me remembrance of my mother's kolhapuri style Misal pav. It was perfect and same like I had at my home back in Mumbai ❤️😪

Only just opened but this is the best vada pav I have had outside of India. The vada is very tasty and the difference is in the pav they use, it seems fresh baked rather than standard UK baps. Chai was average for the price. Some music in the restaurant would be good.

Obviously I had to go for the vada pav and the classic pav bhaji, though there are many other street food delicacies to devour. The vada pav was laced both a green gerb filled chutney and a sweeter tamarind one. The potato filling of the vada itself had that deeply authentic flavour from the use of curry leaves. There was even the fried flour bits "chura" on the side. With the pav bhaji they even went to the extend of making masala pav to add to the flavour, as well getting the pav specially made to replicate the taste in India. A great new venture to really remind folk of home as well as taking newbies on a journey beyond the curry house. The complimentary masala chai served in the proper street style cutting glass was a treat to end off the meal.

Freshly prepared Paneer roll, Pav bhaji were excellent. Chef and owners were very nice and made us kids pauva for my 4 year old and she loved it. 100% recommended for the food and 200% for the service.

I like the most pav bhaji nd vada pav. Testy food, good quantity nd good service. I prefer all people to go there nd eat some food there.

Misal pav here will take you back to Mumbai! The ladi pav looks made in the restaurant and mimics the pav you get in the streets of Mumbai. Gulab jamun was yummy too!
