Mumbaikar Vadapav in Brent

Have been three or four times and each time was superb. Mega delicious and excellent value. We think underrated. Get the vada pav or the buffet if v hungry.

Mumbai sev puri was good and reason why not given 1 star but then all went downhill and kadhi paneer was tasteless and full of salt, even after complaining the server said tdhe let the chef know but did not even offer to refund or replacement Plus the ac was so cold and when we went in no one was in the restaurant , my mate asked to turn it off and they still kept on Also she brought the bill without the fork discount then after telling her she done a new bill but when we went in she knew straight away it was booked via the fork

Had such an amazing meal here over the weekend. The price was very reasonable and the food reminded me of home. I was served by Hemanji, very polite and lovely server. Will definitely be coming back for more. 😋

Wow! Wow!! Just Wow! We stumbled upon this restaurant whilst on our short trip to London. We decided to give it a try due to its unique Maharastrian menu. We loved all the items we ordered...specially Misal Pav and Veg lollipop.. absolutely yummy! Truly authentic Mumbai taste .Portion size is generous too. Note to the management: Please open a branch in Liverpool / North West soon !

My wife and I had visited this restaurant last evening with my friend and his spouse and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We ordered most of the street food on offer and were pleasantly thrilled at the quality of the food. My personal favourite was Misal Pav and Sabudhana Vada. The service excellent as well and they obliged to my request to make some spicy buttermilk which was off the menu. That tasted great and we actually helped ourselves for another glass at the end. Would be visiting again soon.

If you are looking for authentic Mumbai street food, this is the place to visit. Misal Pav was awesome and highlight. We visited with friends and family. All enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Thanks to the team for bringing such authentic food to UK. I would say a must visit place for street food enthusiasts. 👌👌👌.

There is a very decent selection of "Mumbai street food"; however we only managed ro try 2 starters followed by rice and lasooni daal. Although the rice possibly seemed very slightly under cooked, we would most certainly visit again to try out more dishes on the menu to form a better opinion - In any event, my wife and I regard this another welcome option in the locality. The staff were very good and polite.

I think Mumbaikar Vadapav may have opened recently & short staff as well plates & glasses all plastic not clean properly & food was good taste Clean Clean please food did not come all together

What a delicious surprise. Unique, tasty, beautiful array. Owner was sweet and helpful. 10 pounds for all you can eat and freshly made just for us. Goat cheese in an orange sauce eas to die for.

We were served by Hemangi today and she has been an excellent calm minded server. She suggested some options as well. Do try their Thalipeeth and Vadapav which are really good. Even their Maharashtrain Thali ( however it is not available on weekends so alternatively you can order a Mini Thali instead ) You can always order their Mix Bhajiya plate and they serve it with two different kind of sauces which were really good as well. I would recommend thier jeera aloo which I had with chapatti.

Amazing. Hands down food was just fab must go to place. Buffet was good apart from that I took misal pav which was amazing. The staff is really good.

We visited a little after opening times. The waitress and the hosts were gracious and charmingly welcoming. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The reasonably priced food was fantastic, very good tasting yummy pav bhaji. The tea, right from the cup-carrier to the taste took me back in time. I will definitely visit again and again.

We recently attended the Kannada Sambhrama function in Reading where Mumbaikar Vadapav catered food. We had Tawa Pulau, Hakka Noodles and Vada Pau. The food was amazing and yummy. My whole family enjoyed the food. Would love to visit their restaurant to taste more.

First time ordering a takeaway from here. I was disappointed by the lack of flavour and taste. We ordered the Kutchi Dabeli and Schewan Vadapav which was ok, but the Paneer and Ragada Pettis lacked any sort of flavour, spicy or taste.

The experience of Mumbatkar Vadapav, a vegetarian restaurant was amazing. I would recommend the Vara Pav because the Pav was very soft and for people who don't like much spice this is good for you. About spice the waiters ask how much you want. Also the Sabudana Vara has a wonderful taste it is also nice a soft and well baked. Lastly the bhel was such a nice snack but also filling. My final review is a five star, this was the best Indian and vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to.

Great food. Great place to find proper Indian street food bursting with flavour. Very reasonable price. Defo gonna visit again with my mates. Highly recommend for all. For those who don't know Indian street food, this restaurant is a great advocate for it.

One of the best Misal Pav I ever had. Coming from Pune, I always missed that spice level. I had Misal Pav here and it was awesommeeeee. I had a feeling I was in India!!!! I will recommend this to everyone who enjoys authentic Maharashtrian food! ❤️

Quick and friendly service. The service was great by Rishi , answering questions about the menu and also offering helpful suggestions. The menu was amazing - we had the menu and I was surprised by the number of different options available - The food was really good and the masa chai was amazing : Deep rich flavours. Quality really good as was portion size - perfect. Best Bombay street food.

Went today for a quick lunch as we had a limited time. They made the Pav quickly to accommodate us and it was delicious.

I came here after my trip to Mumbai. I went in because I wanted to relive my India experience. To my surprise the food was more delicious than the exact same food I tried in Mumbai. I’d go back here in a heartbeat.

We tried Sev Puri, Vada pav, Dabeli and Masala tea at Mumbaikar Vadapav and below is the review: 1. Food - Food was okayish. Nothing great. Sev puri was really tasty but when it came to Vadapav I would prefer Amol or Shree Sai anytime. It was bland. Dabeli was very tiny and the taste was average. Masala tea somewhat tasted like a pre mix tea microwaved and served instead of freshly made tea. 2. Service - There was only one person who was tirelessly working and doing everything alone - waiting tables, cleaning tables, getting orders from customers and serving them as well. She was doing her best and was clearly over worked. There were 3 other people standing behind the counter on and off who were either owners or managers (not sure) but they were not helping the waitress at all. They were just standing there with an off expression. None of the owners came to check on us, no one asked us if we liked the food or not, there was no cutlery on the table and no tissues as well. We had to ask for that and only then were offered the same. The overall vibe of the restaurant was extremely off putting. No music, poorly arranged tables, no liveliness and overall a sad affair. Suggestion to the owners: Please engage with your customers that shows that you care and want more people to come in!

Nice decor overall, food is nothing special but not bad either. I don’t think it’s worth the prices they charge though. Few reasons for the low rating. 1. Long wait. 2. Average quality. 3. My wife’s vada pav had metal inside the vada. 4. Before ordering, I asked if the Gulab Jamun were freshly made in house and fried to order, I was told yes. However, when the Gulab Jamum came out it was clear it is just a microwaved ready made option. Not only that, but just 1 tiny readymade Gulab Jamum for £3, that’s crazy.

To be honest I would have given Zero star if there was an option. Food was very poor quality and taste. We ordered Pav Bhaji, the Bhaji was not at all cooked well and all vegetable were raw.. it just seemed like all vegetables were mixed in chopped tomatoes and served. The bhaji was not at all creamy in texture. It's noway near Mumbai Pav Bhaji or infact Pavbhaji itself at all. Pav was very dry and flaky. We ordered Butter Pav for which we paid £3..but the Pav was very dry and we couldn't eat it. When gave feedback to the owner... He said everyone has different prospect but the Pav bhaji is good. Not at all authentic Mumbai style, as we are proud Mumbaikars ourself. They didn't even bother removing the charges after seeing that Pav bhaji was not eaten due to poor quality (not that we asked for but should have done with courtesy). Very poor customer service too, specially considering they are very new. Don't expect to receive fresh Or tasty food if you visit this place! Not Mumbaikar for sure!

Really wholesome home style food cooked well. The thali was presented nicely and was the portion sizes were really good. Give them a try.

We tried Grilled Vadapav, Misal Pav. Both were unique and indian taste. Their pav are specially made Mumbai style (not like other restaurants using warburtons) which is itself hard to get in UK. Must try Lemon Soda (it’s like Indian Street Food Soda) ☺️ Mango Lassi was nice. Service was great. Over All we had a good experience.

Booked a Valentine's Dinner surprise for my parents and was truly amazing! My parents loved the food and the service. The desserts were a hit! The quantity was perfect! Overall the best experience for both! :)

Absolutely authentic taste brought to Kenton. must try their food, especially vadapav, pavbhaji. Their pav are specially made Mumbai style which is itself hard to get in UK.

Lovely place for some good Maharashtrian food. Vada pavs have authentic Mumbai taste. Pretty decent Indo Chinese. Chat items were lovely too. Kokam sharbat was a hit. Overall a fantastic place with very modest owners who go the extra mile to make your experience wonderful.

I don't recommend this place who is a real foodie and know the actual taste of any item. I did order the food based on their name name "Mumbaikar" expecting Indian taste or Mumbai Taste. The food quality and portion size was below the average & not at all nearby compared to the local fast food restaurants like SKVP or Amol's or Shree Sai vadapav. I did put notes while ordering, but it was overlooked. It looks like they never check the notes from the customers. Please visit them if you want to spend extra money for below average food.

The restaurant is spacious and the ambience, lighting is quite welcoming. We were late on a Saturday night but the Restaurant staff and owners were quite happy to take our customised orders. Food on the menu card offers a very rare North Karnataka and Maharashtrian vegetarian food. We were told every food is prepared fresh. They have a great chef who served us magic. For 90’ we spent in the restaurant - it felt like we were in Mumbai! Highly recommend dining in here..

We went on my birthday with my family. The food was delicious.

I wanted to buy a quick snack and decided to try the Cheese Burst Vadapav. Initially I thought the price was a little steep for what I ordered but once I tried it my reservation changed immediately. It literally felt like the best Vada Pav I have had till date. Everything was freshly made and inside the Vada it had Cheese inside when was a joy to eat. The Spice level was bang on the money and I didn't have to tell them to make it mild, it was perfectly spiced. The Pav (Bun) was super soft and tasty. As it was a takeaway order the Vada Pav came in a decent box with few extra tissues in a white bag. My overall experiences was good. I would definitely visit again as not only the food was good but also because the staff were super friendly and attentive.

The staff and service was excellent. The food was perfect and most appealing is that it isn't too spicy which makes you feel uncomfortable. The staff gave suggestions for their best dishes and to be honest the VadaPav was and excellent mention. In terms of prices, cannot complain it is perfect set.

Food took a while for collection but perfectly made and worth the wait. Wada pav had two tasty chutneys and nice touch of crispy bits included. Potato pawa was tasty and papdi chaat well presented. Looking forward to trying different things from the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting London and came across this place in harrow. Upon entering the restaurant, I was awe struck with the vibrant and inviting ambience. Makes me feel like home with their touch of Indian culinary skills. I was excited to try out their vada pav and Mumbai Tava Pullav. The Maharastiyan Gujarati Thali was something new to me and I loved the dish . I look forward to returning to try more dishes from their menu and treat my taste buds with Indian street food. It’s a place I would recommend to anyone seeking an authentic taste of India in the heart of London.

Personally I thought the paneer Kathi roll was sooo average and overpriced for what it was. The paneer tasted like normal raw paneer in a roll. The green chutney was probably the worst green chutney I have ever had and it ruined the other dishes. They forgot to add cheese in our grilled cheese sandwich.

The best place to enjoy the real taste of Mumbai in UK... Their vadapav is scrumptious... It really reminded me the taste of Mumbai 's original vadapav.. We tried their ukadiche modak as well.. The taste was so authentic.. Truely made keeping in mind maharastrian cuisine.. Hakka noodles, fried rice Dahipuri and sevpuri was amazing as well.. After a long time, we got that Truely Mumbai taste here in UK.. Service was also timely. Good luck to you guys.. We will surely love to visit again..

Had a full thali, and it was just perfect!

Ordered Schezwan Grilled Vadapav, Masala Tea and Pav Bhaji - Both the dishes were way below the expectations. The tea was cold and didn’t even feel anywhere close to the Masala tea. Above all the place was boiling at 7 pm, we were sweating and felt like running out..! I don’t think we would like to visit.

I thought the place was OK. We had cheese vada pau, chilli paneer and pau bhaji. I was pretty hungry when we got there and the food took 30 mins to come! The service was really slow and they didn't explain to us it was going to be slow. I wanted to order more but decided it would be better to go home and eat. The chilli paneer we were told whether we want it dry or with gravy. We went for semi gravy but it turned out to be a soup with fried paneer. This was an unusual take on chilli paneer which I would not choose again. It tasted fine but maybe a better description would be paneer soup. Also the price was around £8 and it seemed like we got st most 10 cubes of paneer! I thought the pau bhaji was OK if a bit salty. Whilst the service was OK and they made us feel welcome I wish they were upfront about the slow service. I am unlikely to go back but it is worth a try based on the other reviews. Maybe we went on an unfortunate day.

It’s a place I would recommend to anyone seeking an authentic taste of India in the heart of London.
