Probably the best Indian takeaway I eaten in the local area. I had the Balti Vegetable Chilli. It was ridiculously good with great underlying flavours inc. cardamom. The portion was such that I have frozen some for a second helping. Tried my friends’ vegetable biryani and vegetable madras. Equally great. The price was unbelievable. Will certainly be using this takeaway in the future.

We ordered Chicken Madras, Chicken Tikka Massala, Vegetable Biriyani, Pilau rice, Bombay Potato, Nan Bread & papadoms for 100 people for a wake. The food was ordered the week before & was delivered on time. They lent us their big pots for ease of service, which we didn't need to return till the next day. The food was hot, delicious and of their usual high quality standard. Everyone was delighted, "the best curry" some were saying. Thank you so much. You made a very difficult day that little bit easier. Jackie Dowie

We've ordered from here a few times now and always had very nice food. Staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable, particularly as you get rice and papadoms included. My dad is a huge fan of this place and everytime he visits, he insists on ordering from here.

Pedí un par de curry para la entrega y me dijeron que sería una hora, después de 90 minutos traté de llamar y no respondieron, traté de llamar varias veces pero no obtuvieron respuesta y nunca apareció. Muy pobre y nunca más volveré a usar.

Just been on a week long break to Brighton and stayed in Woodingdean . Decided one evening to get a take away and this was the closest to us . I ordered my usual Chicken Dhansak and Garlic Rice and it was the best I have ever had no word of a lie. Quick service and good value. . If I'm ever down again its a definite one night . Would highly recommend 👌

Having moved to Woodingdean from central Brighton we were concerned ton find that Deliveroo does not deliver to this area of the city. Fear not, there’s a top Indian very close by! Excellent curry and friendly, professional service.

Probably the best curry in Brighton. A must try. I highly recommend it. I tried curry from all over London but this definitely one of the best.

Great food, good prices, polite guys on the phone. We have tried many Indian takeaways and restaurants in Brighton area and I can honestly say King Of India is by far the best; quality of food, prices and politeness of the guys on the phone taking orders.

Only reason not 5 stars is due to the wait! Order over the phone turn up to collect at the time suggested but still had to wait another 30 plus minutes. It was very busy with what seemed like regulars, always a good sign in a takeaway. Excellent food with good portion size. Will definitely use again even if I have to wait!

I've been using this take away for about 5 years now but feel compelled to leave a review. This is one of the best curry takeaways in my area (Fiveways, Brighton) however the prices are rising, portions getting smaller with barely enough meat for a child let alone a hungry adult, the sag aloo (spinach and potato) barely half filled the small tin foil tray and they have started charging for minor substitutions even though the items swapped are the same price EG asking for a naan instead or rice (both £3). They charge £1 extra per swap The bags of salad and onion are much smaller now and they are charging for chutneys / mint sauce which used to be FOC. So in short it's just not worth the £££.

Curry didn't have much flavour and the chicken was over cooked. Naan was nice as were the poppadoms and chuneys. Onion bajhi tasted like they came out of a packet. Disappointed really as had high expectations as it used to be amazing. I came in Saturday 19th and ate in. Honestly the chicken wasn't great and the portions were very small, I eat plenty of Indian food and this was definitely average at best. When you pay £25-£30 you expect a great meal.
