Situated in the older part of Rushden, however don't let this deter you. We've visited twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. All meals were delicious, presented well and delivered in a timely fashion. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will be returning. It's reasonably priced and we cannot fault the food.

Myself and 3 friends came for Sunday lunch after hearing great things! They did not disappoint. I went for the Mediterranean tart which was very tasty, vegetables and roasties were cooked to perfection. We had great service from beginning to end. It was all very relaxed and we ended up staying for 5 hours. Not once did we feel rushed. Thankyou so much, we will definitely be back!!

Our first visit to the King Edward since reopening and we will definitely be back. Great to have such a fab pub within walking distance. The pub has been tastefully redecorated with lots of comfortable seating choices. Today we decided to sample the Sunday roast and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered our food and drinks and didn’t have to wait long until a delicious plate was bought to the table. The food looked and tasted ‘home cooked’, beef was succulent and a lovely selection of veg. I would love to see a side order option of cauliflower cheese!

As most coeliacs know you become a creature of habit. For birthdays on a Sunday we usually go to one of two pubs, as I can eat safely there. Both have closed. 😟 My birthday this Sunday gone and I saw that my local was not only under new management, reopened, but also serving Sunday lunches. Wanting to support local, but nervous at the new venue I booked. Making sure they could cater gluten free and letting them know that there would be a coeliac in attendance. The meal was AMAZING! A beautiful roast dinner with gluten free gravy and also stuffing. The only thing that differed from a “normal” meal was the Yorkshire pudding. I would ask them to have some; because their Yorkshires were a big attraction! There wasn’t a vast choice when it came to puddings; but my chosen one was gluten free so it didn’t bother me. (Sticky Toffee Pudding, and oh yes! It was amazing). So thank you to the team at the pub. We will be using you in future, especially for Sunday roasts. For future coeliacs considering going. Make the establishment aware; but you can be catered for, safely and considerately.

Very excited that we've found the perfect night out. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, the wine and drinks brilliant, the atmosphere just perfect. I think this could be the best find for a night out anywhere in the area. Plus the best Espresso Martini I've ever had. Planning the next visit already, thank you so much x

I popped in for lunch as I was feeling peckish and had a burger. WOW! what a burger the meat was thick well cooked and delicious. Never thought a burger could taste so good. I would recommend the pub for food and its good value. They also do lots of different events and entertainment on different days of the week. Well worth a visit.
