Great food and very friendly service.

good food, still says vegetarian on things that are not, so I phoned and they didn't understand. oh well.

the food was awful it was cold and greasy never order again I am going to try to get a refund where do I get help for that my mum and dad are pensioners and they hated every experience of the food

it said delivery was between 13.55 and 14.15 it arrived at 14.02 and a very nice and friendly young man delivered it, lovely food and plenty of it

the driver got lost but it wasn't his fault and I of course gave him a tip. the food was nice but some of the meat dishes are still labeled vegetarian when they shouldn't be.

The driver got lost and didn't bring the entire order. I rang the shop and they did send the missing items straight away, but the rest of our food had to be re-heated.

The chips weren't cooked properly, and the pastry on the pie wasn't cooked underneath I dread to think what the filling would have been like. Meal went in the bin will not return and definitely would not recommend.

Asked for peas and gravy, got gravy and curry sauce. The deals include sauce on the meal.. which is already slop, if you want the sauce in a tub, extra! £ Fish wasn’t even edible, worst chippy I’ve ever had!

Prompt delivery to Stabbo from Beeston. My fish (cod) & small chips, mushy peas, with 4 mushrooms in batter, was a filling meal, with good ingredients. Delicious.

This does have nice food here, but the service is pants, and home delivery is hit and miss when phoning them they do not help you they just blame the delivery person.

Do not order from KING COD!!! Appaling customer service shouting at me down the phone saying it is down to just eat not them. Ordered through just eat, said it had been delivered but nothing turned up. When I called king cod to complain they didn't offer to compensate or give us any food.

We ordered online fish and chips and looks good and everything was fine till I find 3 hair in my chips 🤢🤢I think and I hope hygiene is frst so this disappointing me I hope you improve little bit more and next time when I ordered I will enjoy my fish and chips

Ordered a small cod and chips. Service was okay. But was ruined by the food. The chips were undercooked and had the consistency of cardboard. The fish, don't get me started. Barely battered and inside us like eating a fishy mush. As much as I hate throwing food away, this time I had to. Would not recommend.

Ordered large fish the fish was large but the batter tasted like donuts so just ate the fish as couldn't stomach the hard fried batter

I ordered sauce that came in a pot which was fine but I asked for them not to put any sauce on my order, it came covered in chilli sauce. the order was to share with my 6 year old son, when I phoned the line was terrible could hardly hear but what I could hear was they do not read the instructions and I was at fault because I asked for chlli sauce, well that's one new customer you have lost that spends 30 to 40 pound a time. Read your instructions it could be someone with an allergy next time.

Best chips in beeston, staff are friendly and portion sizes are excellent. Couldn't ask for more from a local chippy.

Pie was overcooked, as was the chicken tikka. Chips weren’t great either, not satisfied unfortunately.

Once again this takeaway has failed monumentally to deliver edible food. They had been closed for several weeks so we thought that they had, maybe, got their act together. Sadly, NO!!! They took what looked like a decent piece of fish and served us a piece of cardboard and charged more than the Humber Road Chippy who turn out constantly good food. Sadly it was closed that night. Never Again.

Very rude stuff. Our order has been delivered to wrong place, phone to King Cod and they didn't want to help or resend a new order. Don't waste your time on these low service place. They just want your money, no matter that miss deliver. First time ordered and last time. Worse place ever. Horrible place !

We visited Nottingham this week and had Fish & Chips from King Cod. They were stunning. Good quality thick piece of fish and lovely clean, fat chips. When we return to visit family we will definitely buy from there again. Lovely & recommended.

Ordered a box with fish cake, sausage chips and Doner meat. Every bite was stale, dripping in grease and tasteless. And cost me nearly £15. Won’t be ordering from there again. Complete waste of money 🤬🤬

King cod chip shop is on Queens road on the main road going through Beeston. Staff customer service skills were good. Chips weren't cooked enough. I also had beef & onion pie which needed to be cooked for at minimum a few more minutes. Unlikely I will be going here again next time I'm in Beeston

Wasnt so warm the food by the time we got it,also probabaly was put long time ago in the bag because all the wrapping paper was wet from the steam..and because of this the chips was very bad.. also the naan bread was wet...

My first takeaway fish and chips for a while a d I was very pleased. We had a large fish and large chips for £10.30. The fish was lovely and the batter cooked to my liking [not to crispy]. More than enough for two so at £5 each for a takeaway meal that's pretty good. A great local chippy

We have been to this lovely chip shop twice in the last two weeks. I can not praise them enough for the quick service, lovely chips and great customer service and will continue to visit again.

The best chippy in Beeston by far, but can get busy when trying to phone for delivery frustrating sometimes, staff are more friendlier than about a year ago, better. Can't give 5 stars as had issues with delivery phone line and ended up having to fetch myself 👍
