Nice fish and chips, and plenty of them. The batter was nice and crisp without being too thick. Fish was fresh and cooked to order.

Been coming here for years. By no means the nicest in the area as it is not, however the most convenient, only a few minutes walk away. However, I will not be returning. Came tonight to order for my whole family. All large meals. Paid and went to leave. On asking for a small amount of mayonnaise I was informed it would be 50p. That’s no problem at all I’m happy to pay. Presented my card to which I was then told it would be charged £3 minimum!? For a squirt of mayonnaise? I explained okay il see what change I had. Unfortunately only 30p, 20p short. 20p’ To which I was informed rudely sorry it would have to be charged the full 50p on card! With a £3 minimum charge!! Pure greed. Not only that. Got home and portions were tiny. My family will not be returning. I will walk the extra few mins for much superior food and service.

Chicken meat on naan, curry sauce, chips, sausage ordered. Nice selection of salad/ sauce for the chicken naan but we weren't asked about the size so were sold the biggest. Sausage - tasty but not asked about size so sold the biggest. Chips- disappointingly small portion and not the freshest. Curry sauce - a bit watery and not as flavoursome as other chip shops.

Stumbled upon this chip shop on a hike, I really liked the food, fish and chips both freshly cooked, service felt personable, I would revisit if wasn't that I'm not from this area. Recommended. Thank you

Usually come here all the time but this morning was shocking, I ordered and everything seemed fine, went home to eat and the chips were undercooked (I know that as I work in chippies and my family own them) but he proceeded to tell me that they were fine. I took them back to the shop and he still tried to argue about it. He gave me another set of chips and when I got home, he had only fried a few new ones and mixed them with the ones that weren’t cooked. Not happy. Never going to order from here again. I had a leftover McDonald’s wrap that was better than the food I received today. Absolutely shocking. The fact you could taste the dry wite on the chips is a bad sign as well as the fact that most of them were just raw potato because they were crunchy in the centre.

I’ve had food from this chip today, this morning aswell to be exact. And i can guarantee the donner meat is freshly cooked as you can cleary see it being cooked on the kebab machine. The chips was bang on, always freshly cooked from here, never had a bad problem from this place.

Been here a few times and can guarantee a hair in my food. The donner meat tastes like the frozen meat you can get. The salad tastes very strange and not nice at all 🤢 Update: I had donner meat and chips with salad. I think I know what I ordered. I live in a different town, so bringing it back would've been a waste of petrol. I never said the Donner meat was cold... I said it was like the frozen donner meat you can buy from farm foods.

Nice and hot, and well presented food..Steak pie,chips&peas... The mushy peas were beautiful.. Loads of free parking..Well worth a visit..

Best fish and chip shop in this area

Absolute rubbish, what’s the point in putting a closing time down if you haven’t got anything 40 mins before you close. If you are going to advertise opening and closing times, at least offer your full menu right? No chicken meat and chips 👎

I tend to call in advance as order the Masala fish, staff are polite and the food is lovely

Delicious chips, gravy and mushy peas. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is cooked fresh to order. Excellent chippy, highly recommended!

Best kebab Iv had in a long time. Will be my regular chippy from now on. Very clean and happy helpful staff.

Hilltop Fish Bar were closed so I tried this one for fish and chips. Large fish wasn’t large and the chips were cooked with burnt oil. Not the best so won’t be back any day soon.

We got 2 large cod and chips from here recently. The fish was inedible. It was clearly a fillet that had been cut in half and fried in an old oil, it was so dry none of us could eat it and had to throw it away. Really disappointing, and the worst fish I have ever had. Unfortunately hilltop fish bar was close as this is where we usually go. Will never be returning here again!

Masala fish is so tasty. Standard fish nice crisp batter cooked very well not greasy. Good portion of chips too. Stoped on the way home and very glad we did. Would certainly visit again. Really friendly.

This has to be the best ‘Chippy’ Ever!!! Kebabs, Chips, Sausage, Everything are cooked to perfection. No dripping grease on any of the food, always fresh and staff are beyond lovely. I travel 9 mile round trip and it’s worth it!! Great Place x

Excellent chip shop. It's the first time I've been here, but everything was impressive from start to finish. The initial impression was great, easy to find, has parking space for about a dozen cars, the shop front is well presented, and upon entering, everything is immaculate. I was greeted with a smile as I walked through the door and made me feel welcome. They have a good menu, and everything is cooked to perfection. My fish and chips were first rate, I will definitely be going again and will recommend them to others.

Wow what a experience, had a mixed meat kebab and chips and this place is my top place for disgusting food, the chicken meat is rubbery and watery and the done meat is see through like council toilet paper. All I can say is AVOID

Passing through Kimberley today & came across this fish & chip shop. Spotlessly clean. fish & chips light fluffy & piping hot. All cooked in fresh clean oil. Big potions which we shared between us. Lovely.

When the food was un wrapped at home a portion of chips where missing but had been paid for. Won't be returning. Fish very greasy and batter flat

Fancied some chips and smelt this from the road. Only had chips and battered sausage but it was top draw. All freshly prepared by friendly staff and decent portions for the price. Will return

Quite busy when we arrived so be prepared for a 10-15min wait. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Decent menu for a chip shop / fish bar. We had quite a large order but was ready within 10mins and all correct when we got home. Well cooked and good flavours, would definitely recommend.

Only purchased chips but they were full of potato and cooked excellently not full of crisps like some places.

Totally disappointed. Second time in a row drive home to find order is not correct. Sauce was wrong and vinegar on chips when asked just salt. Chips in tray that was the only one thing that I was meant to eat had sweet chilli on top instead of hot chilli which was extremely upsetting as money and chips totally wasted. My son reacts go vinegar so he was left without food too. Not wasting my fuel to go back to change food, but this was our last time and we were regulars.

One member of staff very rude. Rolled her eyes when we ordered food, very blunt and short when talking. Didnt say please or thank you. Had a bit of an attitude. Seemed the same with most of the customers. Was very busy, but a smile is what would have made this experience better. She needs a lesson in customer service.

Called in for a chippie tea as we had been out for hours looking at house furniture.and myself and wife had pie chips peas and gravy over the pie.and I must say was the best we've had from a chippy in ages.so well done that chippy for dishing out good food.

Absolute disgusting! Hair found in the chicken! Asked for salad no salad given and the chips are just a sweaty mush that are black and inedible. Will not be returning! I can honestly say do not waste your money! Bring back the owner!
