Not one to leave a bad review but we got South Indian garlic chilli & a korma, both were terrible - the sauces were watery and the South Indian could have passed for arrabbiata pasta sauce… chicken tikka resembled the chicken from a frozen microwave meals. Polo club used to be good sad to see it’s gone this far down hill. 1* is for the garlic naan

And more so there customer service is the worst form staff and speaking to owner. Pls avoid this place at any cost . Also pls note I have never give reviews. But world as changed for only review s . My friend ordered the tandoori mixed grill which was very over cooked. The chicken was super dry and everything was over spiced making it inedible. When we told the manager this he dismissed us and said that's the way it comes. This is not out first time in an Indian restaurant. Nor our first taste of spicy food. We won't be back

Really poor food and won’t return.

Excellent quality of food. Great portion size and everything was fresh,tasty and hot. Reasonable prices and service with a smile.

First time in this restaurant and it will probably be the last. We ordered mushroom pakora to start with and in amongst it was a bit of chicken pakora so watch out for this if your a vegi. Our main course was actually nice but the atmosphere surrounding us was awful. The man with the plaster on his nose maybe the manager was such a rude man, he was clearly bullying the young waitress girls infront of us, shouting at them infront of us it was really awkward. You can tell the girls really hate him the coward that he is can only bully woman!! We were the last table still sitting at 9pm (the restaurant wasn't busy for a Sat night we were 1 of 3 tables). The man with the plaster on his nose was pacing up and down you could tell he was wanting rid of us. He then brought a painter and decorater in while we were having our coffees and he was ordering him about now things like that should be done when restaurant is closed not at 9pm on a Sat night. I could go on but I will leave it there. I would avoid this place and spend your money else where!!!!

My friend and I went for a pre Theatre mid week meal. I got a lamb bhunna. The "bhoona" had no tomato sauce and the "lamb" was more like old mutton. Chewy and full of gristley fat?? I sent it back and re-ordered a chicken bhunna. Same bland sauce. My friend and I have been sick since leaving restraint with stomach cramps etc. Not the same place since covid, trying to claw back money by serving cheaper produce!!??

I ordered carry out pakora and a lamb bhuna. Both were dreadful. Pakora we're old and dried. The lamb was "as tough as old boots" and had large lumps of fat. When I phoned to give feedback, the lady was not interested. Go elsewhere.

Had a Saturday night buffet which was really good quality and the service was great too. They were busy but still managed to deliver great service.

Visited several times. Plenty of parking. Always looked after by staff and made feel welcome. In for lunch today. Good curries, chana masala dosa for starter. Poppadoms were fresh as were the spiced onions. Friend's enjoyed the tikka and South Indian Chilli Chicken.

Went here for dinner last night and can honestly say it's the best Indian Restaurant we have ever been to. From start to finish the food and service was impeccable. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the loveliest host,so warm and friendly. Such an amazing experience. It's spotless clean,food and service were outstanding. Cannot wait to come back. Thankyou so much!

Below average food. Rice stuck together in clumps. Chicken pakora dry and burned. Salmon starter over cooked. Curry's flavour undistinguishable. Very disappointing.

Some of the best Indian food you'll ever have. There's something for everyone, from the standard buffet to specialities from all over the Indian subcontinent; I especially like the Red Fort Delicacy. The beer garden is excellent on a hot summer day!

I've been meaning to visit this restaurant for years as it's local to me, popped in for some lunch, 2 courses for under £10 was fantastic value for money, the food was freshly made and delicious, staff were very attentive and very friendly, will pop in again soon.

The most arrogant ignorant Manager I have ever encountered. I ordered take away delivery via their app. The money was taken from my account and then I received a txt saying, ‘the restaurant had rejected my order and would receive a refund within 7 days’. I tried phoning the restaurant but no answer, I drove to the restaurant to see why my order was rejected. The manager told me the business was changing ownership and now closed, I suggested he takes the delivery app down to prevent anyone else paying/ordering for meals they would not receive. I was stunned by this man’s attitude, he was insulting, arrogant and aggressive, Shocking!! I have been a regular in the Polo Club for years and this man knows me. Beware people!!

I come here with my partner & friends from out of town every time we go for lunch. The restaurant is lovely, Fine decor & call me old fashioned, set tables & real linen on tables which adds to the ambience of the surroundings, the service is top notch, very attentive, the Food is well presented & is very good, I'm looking forward to my next visit, D'n,'A

Food is delish. Service is very prompt and efficient. Think their menu is a bit pricey given the location. Still relatively quiet last few times we've been in. Decor in need of a major overhaul to draw new business.

Went for a family meal 14 of us, food was fantastic but my gosh what an abrupt & rude manager! I've never experienced this rudness before in a restaurant £500 bill & the manager was so obnoxious & rude , rushing our food also! 1 of our meals came and it was wrong the manager's aggressive attitude was awful because we wanted to correct the mistake. & didn't accept the meal that was wrong. Will be avoiding in future while that rude manager is still employed at the polo club!

Great restaurant with friendly staff and lovely tasty dishes. A favourite place of both mine and my Mrs when we choose to eat out.

Took my wife here for her birthday. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Attentive without being obtrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and obviously freshly made. My wife had ice cream and fruit and the fruit was definitely not out of a tin. We will definitely be back.

Tired cold and hungry, heading home. Stopped initially to get takeaway but decided to eat in. Lovely food but too much, got rest in takeaway that will do nicely tomorrow lunchtime.

Excellent service, pristine establishment and the best Indian cuisine in Glasgow. The food is freshly cooked and very authentic. We've been going for many years to this restaurant and can't find any fault with it. Exceptional.

Went here with family as we had family up from England so wanted to give them a good experience but in fact this is what we received. Firstly wasn’t very welcoming on arrival, the male server had the grumpiest face ever. Secondly during having starters served out I was pushed to put a plate down, was very rude when in any other restaurant the server would use their manners. Thirdly, when getting our mains served there was a confusion with the waiter and one of the meals and he very rudely said it was the customers fault in which fact it wasn’t, the male server should have checked with the other server to see instead of rudely throw the rice down and when the customer got upset, the male server then asked him to leave the premises, this was no fault of the customers. Also most of the group ordered chicken tikka and then we were all served normal chicken in a sauce and on asking why it wasn’t chicken tikka, I was ignored. Again during having our mains served I was pushed out the way again, so rude. Lastly, for our bill with having such a big group we wanted to split it. So first couple went and paid then second couple went and paid but then when it came to the last 3 people to pay the female server said we weren’t allowed to split it…. So therefore on person had to pay £126 when in fact they didn’t have that to spend and which was totally unfair for us. I don’t understand still to why we can’t split it so now after the horrendous time we had here we now need to sort out who got what because the server couldn’t help us. WILL NEVER BE BACK. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EVEN THOUGH THE MALE SERVER SAID HE WORKED AT THE HILTON, CLEARLY NEVER LEARNED CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE HILTON.

Great individual curry sauces to enhance dishes. Despite being in for lunch set menu (a bargain!) The choices were extrnsive. The food was varied and tasty. Staff were helpful and very attentive. Enjoyed it so much went back for pretheatre later in week! A la carte menu available too.

My wife and I went for a meal and were left very disappointed at the attitude of staff. My wife found numerous flies on our food (poppadoms), upon mentioning to staff (politely might I add) we were told it was because of the lamp. Our food was taken away and replaced (we weren't asked if we wanted more). When we queried the bill, we were met with an argumentative manager and told that "flies are expected " as well as "its not like the food is outside". The manager had a bad attitude towards us. He was rude, dismissive and argumentative.

We have been visiting this establishment for many years and had lots of celebrations and dinner parties! It was always lacking the last few years and customer service was pretty appalling , but today just topped it off! I came along with my husband, 10 year old son and dog to come sit outside and enjoy a meal and drinks. Ordered first drink which was difficult due to language barrier, then my husband proceeded to go on to ask for menus to be very rudely told by the manager that we won’t be served outside due to staff shortage. He then came out to explain and was very flustered and angry, he said he was too busy to seve outside (4 tables occupied inside) and said that there is nothing he could do! Stormed Away, never have we been spoken to in a way from a manager of a restaurant! Needless to say we will never be back and neither will my family or friends! No idea how he gets return business!

It must have been about 20 years since I wàs last at Killermont Polo Club. This was a welcome return. We were warmly welcomed despite our late arrival. The highlight was trying the paneer for a starter, not something I'd ever gone for before. I also went for chapattis as the side for the main course. The only disappointment was that there was no gulab jamin available and the desserts were western ones. Well worth a quicker return than 20 years.

We booked this venue for a funeral and albeit we arrived early which was not the staffs fault, the manager who's name is Adeepa had an attitude towards both customers and staff that was nothing short of appalling. Given the sensitive nature of our visit, we assumed the venue would be understanding and polite, however this was not the case. From the minute we arrived Adeepa came physically running up the car park towards to main door and started shoving some of our guests out of the way, was argumentative, standoffish, clearly had no compassion and was so obviously agitated at our presence. He screamed at his staff and was pointing fingers right in the young female waitresses face for not pouring a pint to his standards which left this young women incredibly upset, he was literally foaming at the mouth and flinging his arms around when anyone from our party tried to have a calm and polite conversation with him and was overall one of the worst people I've ever had the displeasure of being around. At one point, this "manager" Adeepa told us that "I'm walking away from you now, I've done my part" as we continued to try and have a decent respectful conversation with us. Upon booking we were told we could take what we had left home with us due to having alot of food and understandably not eating much on the day, however, when we mentioned this on the day we were met with an incredibly angry Adeepa who was clearly triggered at this and who demanded this was not true and which I can only presume he wanted to save and serve to his restaurant later that day due to the amount left (disgusting to say the least). This restaurant had a couple of other tables in by the time our party was ready to leave and who also seen the behaviour coming from this "manager". He did not thank any single one of our guests for coming and wanted nothing but as much money as he could get. This place deserves nothing but to be bought over by new owners if it has any chance of being a decent place to dine.

Ordered from Uber eats and the food was almost an hour later than the time shown to arrive. I called after half an hour and was told the driver had left. The drive to ours from the restaurant is 10 minutes, so when I called back almost another 30 mins later, the driver should have been to me already. Food eventually arrived and the orders were wrong. We chose the meal deal for 2, and made note than the lamb was for X dish and the paneer for Y. Food then came in the wrong sauces, and couldn't just be switched as my partner is vegi. Only gave 2 stars as the food was good, but the service was horrible.

Had a lovely couple of hours in the restaurant and the sunny outdoor garden. Really good meal and inexpensive wine. The restaurant and facilities were spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. Excellent value for money.

Terrible customer service, we order regularly from here and can be a hit and a miss... tonight though wow....delivered completely wrong order and said that's what I ordered!!! Spoke to darpeep(manager) nothing but sarcasism and said I order 2 nans and a vegtable curry and onion bajis......

Fantastic service and amazing food. So much to choose from, and all very reasonable! Usually get deliveries from here so nice to finally get to sit in. Never disappoints.

We used to go here regularly. But now find the food is not nearly as good. I found a hair in my meal and was told it would be deducted from the bill…it wasn’t. I still paid full price. Definitely wont be back as also got no apology.

Just home from a lovely meal at the Kilermont Polo Club. Been going there for years but not been for a while. New menu. Food amazing. Best Indian meal we’ve had in a long time. Loved the new decor and staff very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back soon and will tell friends.

No complaints with the food, but felt rushed into ordering and staff were a bit too eager to clear the table. Felt like they couldn't get our whole meal completed quick enough.

Just had a takeaway from hear for the first time. I will never get another. The nan bread had a hole in the middle and was burnt. The chicken chatt had raw bits. The pakora was poor aswell.

We began using Killermont during lockdown. Had many very good takeaways. The quality is consistent and the portions sizes good. Value for for money is pretty good as well. They are very good and remembering small details added to orders. Very good and I look forward to visiting in person when it's allowed.

DO NOT get a takeaway from this place. Ordered from JustEat and they delivered to the wrong address and refused to give a refund when I spoke to them, shocking customer service, hung up the phone on me.

The Killermont is one of my favorite Indian restaurants. They do a phenomenal lamb masala, serve big portions, and are well priced. Back when we could go to restaurants, they have a lovely, classy interior and a beautiful bar. We did their lunch buffet and enjoyed everything. Highly recommend them for takeaway as well because if you do a meal deal it will last you at least three days.

Very dissapointed with our takeaway tonight. Paneer tikka burnt with powdery taste, chips were 2days old and refried. Spoke to manager was so cheeky and rude couldn’t care a less. Advise you all reading this do not order from this restaurant !!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been coming to this restaurant for five years and the quality of the food is fantastic , I visited last Saturday as that's when we always go, yet again the food was amazing, but for whatever reason they have done away with the budget menu that they used to have for weekend lunchtime, we had to pay twice what we used to, don't think that is fair, especially in these times, i don't think that we will be back unless they reduce their prices.

There were 4 adults and a baby buggy on this visit; we got met at the door by a very amiable and welcoming host who showed us to a table suitable to seat us comfortably whilst affording space for baby to stay in her pram beside us without causing any obstruction. The table service was prompt and friendly and the waiter was very happy to go over the very extensive menu and explain the nuances of the fare on offer BLAH, BLAH, BLAH..... The point is: the staff were great, the food was great, the food was great the ambience was great and the cost is very reasonable. So, would we go back? Yer darned tootin' we would! every week until we've tried everything on the menu
