Food is incredibly good and a unique venue for an Indian. Staff can be a bit too keen to ask how your food is 30 seconds after you’ve got it… Ordered chicken pakora as my starter twice and received veggie pakora. Not the best service, but the veggie pakora is still top notch! Really good Indian, mango lasse and food are super! I’d complain more about the starter being mixed up if the quality wasn’t so good. 4.5 from me - that’s purely a mistake with two orders. Keen, but friendly staff. Top notch food!

Had chicken pakora to start was very dry,chicken bhoona was ok

Food good, but the service was a major let down. The girls were good but the guy was very rude on a few occasions. Maybe time to retrain him as it doesnt look like the first review his attitude has been mentioned.

They forgot to put the korma curry in as I called them but they were closed but called the next and they delivered tonight what a brilliant restaurant food is always lovely and staff are so friendly 10/10

ordered the chicken tikka starter for £5:95 & got 3 small pieces of chicken! mixed pakora in set meal were mostly mushroom & potato fritters. the 2 curry in the set meals had very limited chicken also. used to love the Polo club but that's me finished ordering from them

Disappointing. Salad not provided as per menu listing for tandoori platter and poor small portion. No partial refund. Bad service to long serving customers, Just ear didn’t resolve the issue either!!!!

When the meal arrived I was surprised and thought it was excellent value for money however I was seriously disappointed. The Korma Sauce was tasty but 80% of the chicken was ineadable, it was tough and chewy. The veg pakora was ok.

Really poor. I was initially sent the wrong curry, I ordered a Paneer Rogan Josh as I’m vegetarian, but received a basic gravy with chicken. I called to let them know that there had been a mistake and could they send me back a Paneer Rogan Josh and if possible add some mixed veg to the correct curry. The woman I spoke to was completely unapologetic and seemed mostly concerned that I send the unusable curry back, lets hope not to pass on to someone else. She was initially unwilling to add the vegetables without an additional payment of £1.40. Very shortly after a driver arrived with a fresh curry with paneer. The curry I received was a sickly sweet mild gravy with some tinned veg and paneer added (nothing like a Rogan Josh). I wouldn’t normally be critical of a quick service but it’s very obvious that this kitchen has a vat of standard curry that they are passing off as menu specific and banking on their naive customers being unable to decipher one curry from another. In the end I just ate the naan bread (which was lovely). It’s a real shame, we used to order from this place frequent years ago but something has gone awry.

We were a party of 16 and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were lovely, in particular the head male waiter who had great banter and was very efficient. We will be back.

Ordered two chicken chasni meal deals which were so dissapointing. The chasni sauce was so watery it was absolutely tasteless and unedable. Spoiled at Saturday night house party.

Recieved my order earlier than expected which is good but the driver had an attitude. Unfortunately he was unable to follow a clear instruction left on the notes on where to deliver too. Any other driver is able to find my house with these instructions so why cant he? The food was good but due to the drivers attitude I will not be using this place again!

Not one to leave a bad review but we got South Indian garlic chilli & a korma, both were terrible - the sauces were watery and the South Indian could have passed for arrabbiata pasta sauce… chicken tikka resembled the chicken from a frozen microwave meals. Polo club used to be good sad to see it’s gone this far down hill. 1* is for the garlic naan

I hve used Killermount Polo Club many a times especially take home D for order( Reason I never make judgments in in lSimply worst food and highly Expensive. And more so there customer service is the worst form staff and speaking to owner. Pls avoid this place at any cost . Also pls note I have never give reviews. But world as changed for only review s . Believe me if you go with all good reviews then something wrong with you all . All that’s Shines is not…… . Never mind Simply Avoid this place. Cook at home , if really tired or treat. Usually love ordering from here tonight was such a disappointment ordered our usual set meal for 1 chicken jalfrezi. I dont know if it was a different chef but it was so hot with spice it was inedible, also there was no taste other than tomato, the main went in bin uneaten, so disappointed as always good quality tonight was not

Standards have fallen. Poppadoms smashed to bits. Dry chicken chat. Lukewarm pakora. Bland rice. All in all, I am very disappointed from what I assumed was a higher class of curry house. Won't order from here again.

First time using this restaurant and deffo wont be the last. Got set meal for one, which was great value with really good portion sizes. Got the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken as my main and this was one of the best I’ve had was very flavoursome although could maybe done with little extra spice but I’m not complaining.

My friend ordered the tandoori mixed grill which was very over cooked. The chicken was super dry and everything was over spiced making it inedible. When we told the manager this he dismissed us and said that's the way it comes. This is not out first time in an Indian restaurant. Nor our first taste of spicy food. We won't be back

Anytime I pay with cash a lady calls and tells me I'm a new customer despite having ordered hundreds of times over many years. Please do not call again talking nonsense, if you do not want the business don't accept the order!

First time in this restaurant and it will probably be the last. We ordered mushroom pakora to start with and in amongst it was a bit of chicken pakora so watch out for this if your a vegi. Our main course was actually nice but the atmosphere surrounding us was awful. The man with the plaster on his nose maybe the manager was such a rude man, he was clearly bullying the young waitress girls infront of us, shouting at them infront of us it was really awkward. You can tell the girls really hate him the coward that he is can only bully woman!! We were the last table still sitting at 9pm (the restaurant wasn't busy for a Sat night we were 1 of 3 tables). The man with the plaster on his nose was pacing up and down you could tell he was wanting rid of us. He then brought a painter and decorater in while we were having our coffees and he was ordering him about now things like that should be done when restaurant is closed not at 9pm on a Sat night. I could go on but I will leave it there. I would avoid this place and spend your money else where!!!!

My friend and I went for a pre Theatre mid week meal. I got a lamb bhunna. The "bhoona" had no tomato sauce and the "lamb" was more like old mutton. Chewy and full of gristley fat?? I sent it back and re-ordered a chicken bhunna. Same bland sauce. My friend and I have been sick since leaving restraint with stomach cramps etc. Not the same place since covid, trying to claw back money by serving cheaper produce!!??

I ordered carry out pakora and a lamb bhuna. Both were dreadful. Pakora we're old and dried. The lamb was "as tough as old boots" and had large lumps of fat. When I phoned to give feedback, the lady was not interested. Go elsewhere.

Visited several times. Plenty of parking. Always looked after by staff and made feel welcome. In for lunch today. Good curries, chana masala dosa for starter. Poppadoms were fresh as were the spiced onions. Friend's enjoyed the tikka and South Indian Chilli Chicken.

Went here for dinner last night and can honestly say it's the best Indian Restaurant we have ever been to. From start to finish the food and service was impeccable. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the loveliest host,so warm and friendly. Such an amazing experience. It's spotless clean,food and service were outstanding. Cannot wait to come back. Below average food. Rice stuck together in clumps. Chicken pakora dry and burned. Salmon starter over cooked. Curry's flavour undistinguishable. Very disappointing.

Some of the best Indian food you'll ever have. There's something for everyone, from the standard buffet to specialities from all over the Indian subcontinent; I especially like the Red Fort Delicacy. The beer garden is excellent on a hot summer day!

I've been meaning to visit this restaurant for years as it's local to me, popped in for some lunch, 2 courses for under £10 was fantastic value for money, the food was freshly made and delicious, staff were very attentive and very friendly, will pop in again soon.

The most arrogant ignorant Manager I have ever encountered. I ordered take away delivery via their app. The money was taken from my account and then I received a txt saying, ‘the restaurant had rejected my order and would receive a refund within 7 days’. I tried phoning the restaurant but no answer, I drove to the restaurant to see why my order was rejected. The manager told me the business was changing ownership and now closed, I suggested he takes the delivery app down to prevent anyone else paying/ordering for meals they would not receive. I was stunned by this man’s attitude, he was insulting, arrogant and aggressive, Shocking!! I have been a regular in the Polo Club for years and this man knows me. Beware people!!

The restaurant is lovely, Fine decor & call me old fashioned, set tables & real linen on tables which adds to the ambience of the surroundings, the service is top notch, very attentive, the Food is well presented & is very good, I'm looking forward to my next visit, D'n,'A

Food is delish. Service is very prompt and efficient. Think their menu is a bit pricey given the location. Still relatively quiet last few times we've been in. Decor in need of a major overhaul to draw new business.

Went for a family meal 14 of us, food was fantastic but my gosh what an abrupt & rude manager! I've never experienced this rudness before in a restaurant £500 bill & the manager was so obnoxious & rude , rushing our food also! 1 of our meals came and it was wrong the manager's aggressive attitude was awful because we wanted to correct the mistake. & didn't accept the meal that was wrong. Will be avoiding in future while that rude manager is still employed at the polo club!

Took my wife here for her birthday. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Attentive without being obtrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and obviously freshly made. My wife had ice cream and fruit and the fruit was definitely not out of a tin. We will definitely be back.

Tired cold and hungry, heading home. Stopped initially to get takeaway but decided to eat in. Lovely food but too much, got rest in takeaway that will do nicely tomorrow lunchtime.

Excellent service, pristine establishment and the best Indian cuisine in Glasgow. The food is freshly cooked and very authentic. We've been going for many years to this restaurant and can't find any fault with it. Exceptional.

Went here with family as we had family up from England so wanted to give them a good experience but in fact this is what we received. Firstly wasn’t very welcoming on arrival, the male server had the grumpiest face ever. Secondly during having starters served out I was pushed to put a plate down, was very rude when in any other restaurant the server would use their manners. Thirdly, when getting our mains served there was a confusion with the waiter and one of the meals and he very rudely said it was the customers fault in which fact it wasn’t, the male server should have checked with the other server to see instead of rudely throw the rice down and when the customer got upset, the male server then asked him to leave the premises, this was no fault of the customers. Also most of the group ordered chicken tikka and then we were all served normal chicken in a sauce and on asking why it wasn’t chicken tikka, I was ignored. Again during having our mains served I was pushed out the way again, so rude. Lastly, for our bill with having such a big group we wanted to split it. So first couple went and paid then second couple went and paid but then when it came to the last 3 people to pay the female server said we weren’t allowed to split it…. So therefore on person had to pay £126 when in fact they didn’t have that to spend and which was totally unfair for us. I don’t understand still to why we can’t split it so now after the horrendous time we had here we now need to sort out who got what because the server couldn’t help us. WILL NEVER BE BACK. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EVEN THOUGH THE MALE SERVER SAID HE WORKED AT THE HILTON, CLEARLY NEVER LEARNED CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE HILTON.

Great individual curry sauces to enhance dishes. Despite being in for lunch set menu (a bargain!) The choices were extrnsive. The food was varied and tasty. Staff were helpful and very attentive. Enjoyed it so much went back for pretheatre later in week! A la carte menu available too.

My wife and I went for a meal and were left very disappointed at the attitude of staff. My wife found numerous flies on our food (poppadoms), upon mentioning to staff (politely might I add) we were told it was because of the lamp. Our food was taken away and replaced (we weren't asked if we wanted more). When we queried the bill, we were met with an argumentative manager and told that "flies are expected " as well as "its not like the food is outside". The manager had a bad attitude towards us. He was rude, dismissive and argumentative.

We have been visiting this establishment for many years and had lots of celebrations and dinner parties! It was always lacking the last few years and customer service was pretty appalling , but today just topped it off! I came along with my husband, 10 year old son and dog to come sit outside and enjoy a meal and drinks. Ordered first drink which was difficult due to language barrier, then my husband proceeded to go on to ask for menus to be very rudely told by the manager that we won’t be served outside due to staff shortage. He then came out to explain and was very flustered and angry, he said he was too busy to seve outside (4 tables occupied inside) and said that there is nothing he could do! Stormed Away, never have we been spoken to in a way from a manager of a restaurant! Needless to say we will never be back and neither will my family or friends! No idea how he gets return business!
