Great food and service love the seasonal menu and specials - lovely staff too

Great service, great location and great food!

Very poor presentation of food. Food was bland and stodgy. Waiter walked off saying he would collect cutlery but never returned - had to request someone else to assist. Quite concerning how fast the mains followed the starters - clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. In all honesty, I've ate better ready meals.

Been to Zizzi Princess Square and it has never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is lovely and Vahe the head chef never disappoints. The size of the pizza is immense 👍

Had a great lunch here with the girls. Lovely round table and server was friendly and efficient. Food was delicious and portions really generous, had leftovers to bring home. Very good value- highly recommended.

Turned up, maitre d was welcoming. Very busy Saturday night. Couldn't find my booking. He simply said ill find you a seat. Food was scrumptious, recommend the organic red wine. After a lovely meal, I checked booking. I'd booked the wrong Saturday. Top marks to Zizzi for customer service.

Have eaten at this restaurant on a few occasions and never had cause to complain. The food today was extremely poor. The Mushroom risotto was very salty and the spaghetti bolognese was more like spaghetti soup. Very watery with hardly any meat. The 2 stars have been given for the waiter who was very professional and friendly and very apologetic and we were only charged for our drinks. Sorry, but we won't be back

Michal looked after us. We had a lovely time. I really love the indoor/outdoor feel of the balcony seating. Perfect for the unpredictable Scottish weather. Rustica piccante is my favourite pizza! 🍕

Staff were very accommodating and kind. We initially sat outside the restaurant however my daughter, who is autistic, was a bit anxious sitting near the railing so I asked to move inside and within minutes our food was at our new table. I also had a mishap when paying and had to wait to sort it out with my husband via text. The lady serving us was very patient and made me feel very comfortable. The food was excellent and we had a lovely meal. Thank you x

My friend and I visit fortnightly for lunch. The food is delicious, and the service from Michal is second to none. Also, Adam is a very friendly, professional manager. We will continue to visit while they are there. Highly recommend.

The food was nice and what you would expect from Zizzi. I would say however the kids pasta seemed much bigger than my local Zizzi, so that was a bonus! We sat on the terrace which was nice, especially if you are a people watcher 😉. Service was good we had an attentive waiter. All round nice meal which you should expect from a Zizzi.

Service terrible. Grumpy service, no smiles, just a big guy looking bored at his job. White wine warm had to go to the bar myself to ask for ice to cool it down. Ran out of vanilla ice cream, so meant any sweet that used vanilla ice cream was affected i.e chocolate brownies.we declined sweets due to almost all sweets being affected. Worst of all we were then left to pack our own food if we we wanted to take it away. normal restaurant practice is to finish meal, ask to take it home, staff pack it and bring it ( this also to be zizzis practice). imagine the look of confusion on my 8 years old face as your waiter brings us the boxed to pack out own dinner, he hands her the box to pack her own. so we pack our own dinner before he clears the plates. then need to go into the bar for a second time to request a bag to put all the dishes in as we need to take them home. when paying the bill we are asked if we want to leave a tip , i normally tip about 10% for good service. tonight i refused a tip for the poor service. feel quite insulted when we are expected to pack our own food and then tip for service that should normally do this. is it now normal practice in zizzi to expect customers to pack their own food at the table into the brown paper boxes or is this just a lazy server? - kind of ruins the dining experience and calls in to question what "service" actually means, and then adds insults to ask if i would like to tip when the service was so poor? should you doubt this you should check your cameras from our visit.

Lomond was an excellent help when describing the menu especially as someone with allergies, he went into full depth about gluten free options and so helpful and friendly, I am definitely anxious about trying new places due to allergies but he made me feel as ease as my food was excellent, thank you so much for a good experience

Pizza rustica - I appreciate it’s a particular style of pizza, however rock hard, inedible edges aren’t that satisfying or appetising really - seemed particularly thin and toooo crispy. Toppings - all fine. Cappuccino, far too hot-hot, milk had cooked and it lacked any great coffee flavour. Tiramisu- no variation of texture - a common mistake is to saturate the sponge and so it loses all body and becomes a mush that disappears in the cream. Sorry.

The place is beautiful and upscale inside Princes Square Shopping Centre Our feeling is that the food lacks the Italian spirit in preparation The timing of our attendance at the end of the day could have an impact on the numbers...!!

Had a fairly pleasant meal at zizzi princes square - service started as good, however deteriorated throughout the meal (in particular I would note we waited a very long time after we had finished to get plates cleared and then the bill), staff on shift at the later part of the afternoon appeared more interested in their phones than the few customers that were in. Food itself was ok, not great considering the prices. Starters we had a mushroom thing which was nice, though found the bread part far too doughy and thick for a starter personally, the breads and hummus were ok. Mains I had a pizza which was not even warm, the pasta and meatballs were very dry and lacked any taste or sauce. Disappointing also that a restaurant that size could not provide tobasco sauce or crushed chillies which I like on a pizza. Overall the quality of food and service did not match the prices charged - wouldn’t be in a rush to go back unless it was a pre theatre or something

Welcoming, staff friendly and efficient. Food delicious. Great value for money, great location and atmosphere. We go a lot. Blanka, our waitress, always has a friendly smile and is very helpful . Excellent venue

Hi really Love Zizzi food and my husband gets gluten free as he has a celiac condition. However 1 thing I was annoyed about was that they don't take cash. My husband was treating me and when he went to pay was told card only....he/ we like to keep the cash flowing in Scotland luckily I had a card but took the whole enjoyment out of my treat. It's a bad time ahead if a cashless society. And for staff I feel they will lose out on tips

The old man who took our order incredibly rude. Wanted to ask more info and he harshly replied I only want your drink order. He was in such a hurry it was unbelievable. Kids set came with rotten carrots and cucumbers. I asked for it to be changed and he came back with the same plate with all the rotten parts cut off. Surely peeling a fresh carrot and cucumber wouldn't have killed them. Food was average. Especially the old man forgot to order my calamari.

Great location, friendly attentive staff, fantastic food and good value for money

We ordered the salmon and avocado salad, it was hard and the salmon was dry and like burnt from frozen. The rest is passable. What we did like was the carbonara pasta.

The food was excellent especially the vegetarian lasagne which was more delicious than the normal lasagne. The staff were friendly and accommodated all our needs.

Excellent service! We were quite a large party (18 people total), so we can’t have been easy, but the service was fantastic. Our server was Gordon and he was so patient and funny! The food was excellent as were the drinks. There is definitely a reason we come back every year!

Here for my friend groups annual dinner - Food was amazing, deserts were gorgeous, staff were super friendly, music was great and we all got a free shot before they brought the bill! We come here once a year without fail and it's definitely the highlight of our year!! Gordon was class and a highlight of the meal!

I had lunch with a friend at Zizzi restaurant; the food was really very good and the service was delightful. Blanka was the excellent, she made our day. She is a huge asset for zizzi :)

Normally a big fan but the service was unenthusiastic & awful, the food bland and the drinks which should have been cold were served at above room temperature. Had to wait 10 minutes after our main courses were put down in front of us for a separate member of staff to bring cutlery after asking twice.

It is your regular chain restaurant. Food is decent but not great and quite overpriced for what it is. I had a carbonara which was alright. Ordered tiramisu for dessert which was too sweet and the glitter seemed a bit unnecessary... The ambiance is really nice in this particular branch it also seems to be a good place for large gatherings like birthday parties. Overall nice place to have a drink inside the Glasgow Princes Square not the best for a good meal worth the price.

Lovely restaurant and staff. Had run out of potatoes for the main I wished to try, so provided an alternative of sweet potato instead. Meal was lovely. Recommend.

Table for two after shopping in town. Was surprised at how expensive mains were (£18 for one main) but thought Zizzi's is normally reliable and good. Drinks and big dough ball starter were okay, nothing special. Sticky pig pizza was okay, probably good have got something similar from a supermarket and it was not served very hot as you'd expect from a pizza place. The five cheese carbonara had no sauce and was completely cold. We were polite and asked the waiter for a hot carbonara as that is the least you'd expect if you paying £18 a head. The waiter said he'd bring a new one but it had clearly been microwaved, there was steam come out the middle and the sides were still completely cold. The manager then had the cheek and audacity to say it's al dente and that's how it's meant to be served, which is complete rubbish. We paid for starters and drinks and with one of us not having eaten a main at all. Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant and I can guarantee I'll never eat at Zizzi's again and be telling everyone this story. The restaurant was understaffed and that probably didn't help.

If you must visit Zizzi, go to the one in the West End as it's better. When we arrived, it took almost 10 minutes for the waiters to acknowledge us. We eventually got seated and had our order taken, but the service was very uninterested. The waiters seemed very tired - I'm not sure if it's Zizzi's fault or not but -1 star regardless as it's not acceptable. The food was OK, but nothing special. It's very expensive for essentially fast food level pasta, so -1 star for the ridiculous prices. Everything here was mediocre, except for the prices, so sadly I can't recommend this place.

Friendly welcome. Busy but well organised restaurant. Efficient service, although the device the server was using was struggling with WiFi. Not sure I really get on with staff wearing their 'own clothes', looks like they just walked in off the street. Pizza was hot (unlike equivalent pizza express which is usually tepid at best). Express payment on the app was a faff, would have been quicker to pay the server. Overall a nice experience, but not quite a 'wow' experience

Had a beautiful lunch, starting with garlic bread to share then I had spaghetti Bolognese and my granddaughter had a calzone it was so big she got to take half of it away . Food , service, and staff are fantastic as usual.

Always enjoyable visiting Zizzi's. Lots of choice, often special offers for Zillionaire members. Servers are very knowledgeable and very willing to assist with any questions. We always enjoy the food. Nothing is too much bother.

Mum mum and I had a lovely lunch today. Our server was a very friendly lady from Poland, I can’t remember her name but she was so nice, polite and very professional. Only one thing that I’m not too happy about was the fact that your restaurant is Card on payment. This is not good for people or small businesses, your company is contributing to the cashless society.

Still my favourite place to get a simple but filling plate of mozzarella and spaghetti. Nice seating and nice staff too. No complaints. :)

Situated on the Terrace level of Princes Square Shopping Center, this restaurant has become our trusted choice whenever we find ourselves in Glasgow. The staff greet us with warmth and courtesy, setting the tone for a pleasant meal ahead. Service is prompt, with our food arriving in no time. Their pizza menu is definitely worth your attention. Despite their seemingly daunting size, the thin and crispy dough makes each bite an absolute delight. For those craving a taste of the classics, my partner swears by their bolognese, a rich and flavorful dish that never disappoints. The courgette fries are a must, crispy, tender, and just amazing. Friendly front of house welcome - we arrived early and that was not a problem, we were offered a choice of tables. Ordering was friendly and food came quite quickly. Waiting staff were attentive and food was nice. Good value for money.

Manager nice but other staff looked like they were a bit miserable. Pleasant enough back lacked enthusiasm. Service quite slow. Food was reasonable in the end. Not amazing but ok. I think the Ashton lane branch is of a higher standard.

Friendly staff and our personal waitress Blanca was efficient, friendly and patient despite being very busy. Menu choice was good and the food itself was delicious and imaginatively prepared. There was no feeling of being rushed again despite it being busy. Would happily go back.

This was our third trip to this Zizzi’s and the first time we’ve paid anything from our meal. Firstly there was no beer on draught so we ordered two bottles. Upon ordering our mains we received one correct main and one incorrect and cold. By the time it was corrected I had finished mine and my husband still hadn’t received his. When it was arrived my husband made sure it was taken off the bill which was absolutely fine with the staff member. While my food was fine, his was very bland and felt like “a classic chain restaurant meal” which he didn’t want to finish. We then ordered two cocktails which sounded and looked delicious by the picture presented on the menu. It was the tiramisu espresso martini. It didn’t come with the biscuit garnish and when asked about this the server looked puzzled as if it wasn’t usually served with part of what the cocktail was made up from. She returned explaining they did not have any of these but could offer a honeycomb alternative - something which would not have gone with the cocktail. The cocktail tasted like a poor, watered down coffee. Ky husband politely explained to a staff member that the cocktail wasn’t as expected to which he responded “yes I agree, the cocktails really needed sugar and had already been deducted from the bill”. I am giving two star review as although the experience was poor, all staff members (particularly what looked like two male managers) were extremely nice and very understanding. We left a tip based on the two men who looked after us and took the time to correct the issues we had. Unfortunately though, we won’t return as 3/3 trips to Zizzi’s has been unsuccessful.

Visited Zizzi in princes square garden in Glasgow on Sunday 14th April. The service was first class, Jacob was amazing with us. The food is absolutely delicious. Definitely give a 100 out of 100 for here.

Zizzi is always good. I moved up from Manchester a few years ago and the new management in Princes Square fits the new look of the restaurant. Quick service and fantastic food. Will always use as seems to be the same quality no matter where.

Very Disappointing Experience My food & My Wife food wasn't cooked properly, not recommended I know I received a discount on my bill this about the food I spoke to one manager and I found them saying we very busy that trying to justify what happened

Absolutely shocking and very unfortunate experience. Especially given that this was a special occasion and we rarely have the money to eat out. Waitress was not particularly enthused or friendly, not a smile on her face the whole evening. Husband ordered lasagne, he loved it, I ordered the super zucca salad with dressing on the side. I repeated this twice as it's happened before that the order comes without this. Of course, that is again what happened in this scenario. When I reminded her politely, was met with "oh, do you want them to make another one?", when yes politely, that it why I ordered the sauce on the side and raised this on the dish being delivered. Meanwhile that meant hubby ate alone and was almost done when mine arrived. Though this time it came with half of the leaves and grains lobbed on the plate, no butternut squash and no red peppers! the main ingredient. Oh gosh, so I had to say something again... so then bought to me, the squash was slimey and turned foul. Not safe for consumption. Oh goodness this was a total disaster. Awful experience, no one subsequently asked 'how everything was with our food'. It was all dealt with very passive aggressively with cold looks from the kitchen staff from across the room. I felt like a burden. I just wanted a nice meal out with my husband. Though they knocked the cost of my dish off the receipt, it didn't at all make up for the cost we paid to come out in the first place for the rest of the meal and transport. Wish we had never of come. We will never be coming back to zizzi, and actively discouraging friends and family from visiting. It was such a shame, and a cost for us coming out despite the dish being removed.

Pizzas had hardly any cheese on them ! Also the rubbish being taken through the front of the restaurant wasn’t a good look ! Sitting eating with bags of rubbish going past your table !!

Had lunch in Zizzi's for my friends 90th birthday. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was good but could have been better. Pizzas had to be sent back as they were cold. However desserts were first class.

It's as you'd expect of a Zizzi. I pre booked and added a note about sitting in a corner if possible. I was on my own and my social anxiety can go really hard sometimes but I'm trying to push myself to get better in "social settings". The server was amazing; according to my receipt he was called Michal. An absolute asset to their team. He had obviously read the note on my booking and let me choose where I wanted to sit. Which was amazing as I was able to pick a table which was out the way, in an unpopulated area of the restaurant and with my back to the wall. To most that may seem weird but to anyone with autism and/or anxiety, you'll know why that makes a difference. He was so kind, patient and very helpful. Personally for me, it helped me calm down a bit and feel more comfortable. The venue was semi dimly lit as well, like some restaurants tend to be, which for anyone with sensory overloads like light, again makes a difference. Unfortunately my eyes were too big for my belly and couldn't finish my main but both Calamari to start and Pomodoro were excellent as per Zizzi standard. Side note though, their Calamari starter comes in Small or Large and their definition of "Small" is definitely what I would've called Large 😂. I can't even imagine how big the Large version is.

Without making a reservation i turned up with a family of 10 at 1200 on a busy Saturday, not the best of plans. Even though it was obvious they were busy, the manager went out of his way to accommodate all of us, thank you. The food and service was exemplary and our short notice visit to Glasgow was made more successful by your actions.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon - food scrumptious - but highlight was your staff member Lomond .. he was fun , brilliant , professional but not just to us but to all customers - we actually wanted to kidnap him - think you guys need to clone him … thank you Lomond for making us laugh , smile and to Zizzi’s - he’s a credit to the business - keep doing what you do - top marks ❤️
