Zizzi - Glasgow Princes Square in Glasgow City

Went for a birthday dinner for my daughter both the waiter and waitress on last night 6th April were very attentive. They decorated the table and gave her a free cocktail 🍸 all food was delicious. I had the beef wagyu pasta and omg the chocolate bomb for dessert. I would highly recommend it wasn't too much as I'm not a big chocolate dessert person. Although, I did share it. Hope to be back soon.

We had lunch with friends from the US. Very disappointing meal ordered Linguine with Tiger prawn no taste at all tiny size for the price they charging it is not worth it. When you stated on the menu The Tiger prawn should be big not tiny one like you can buy in the supermarket. 😡

Went in with my female partner for a lunch date, got sat down and wasn’t even given two seconds before we got asked what we wanted, was getting very judgy stares from all staff but mainly one in particular who was mainly serving us. She couldn’t even look at both of us when we were ordering and if we did it was a death stare. We had asked for the bill over 3 times but was blatantly igorned and giving an dirty look every time.Overall the food was brilliant, however, i think they need to work on their customer service towards homosexual couples going forward.

Cardboard pizzas and industrial flavored pasta, not representative of Italy, the "real" one, really to be avoided if you expect to eat well with good value for money, it's just disgusting

Love it here, we use this restaurant every time we visit Glasgow. Lovely food, plenty of options, reasonable pricing, love sitting on the balcony as it feels like being outside somewhere warm. On this occasion we had booked for the evening but were hungry by 230pm so asked if we could come any earlier - the host asked us to come back in half an hour and would see what he could do about a balcony seat. We came back at 3pm to be greeted by name with an outdoor seat, we felt very welcomed! Chicken Milanese was delicious 😋 Service was fantastic. Looking forward to our next trip!

Excellent Food, but we were totally forgotten about after asking for the bill for ages. The atmosphere was affected because there was two different playlists being played loudly at the same time, and it was really quite difficult to relax. One speaker was where the cheffs were and the other in the main restaurant- my girlfriend has autism and really struggled with the clash of the music. However, the food made up for it. Good evening overall .

Popped in for lunch, served by the amazing Lomand. Very tentative and funny! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, would definitely come again on our next trip to Glasgow

Lovely decor, friendly staff and nice food 😋 A good central place for a family catch up.

The food was bang average and service was extremely poor. We waited about 15 at a time just to get a waiters attention. We also asked for a couple of dipping sauces and we only received one, which is no problem, it happens. When we asked the waitress to retrieve another one she brought it back to our table with a very unpleasant attitude. Not a word spoken, not even a quick apology. Very poor overall dining experience.

My friend and I visit fortnightly for lunch. The food is delicious, and the service from Michal is second to none. Also, Adam is a very friendly, professional manager. We will continue to visit while they are there. Highly recommend.

Waitress brought out our main courses while one of us was still eating our sharing starter and started lifting the other persons plate away then she said “do you want me to leave that “when I was obviously still eating it The mains should have not been brought out until we were finished our first course. We also ordered two cokes and they took that long to make we ended up finishing the meal way before there was any sign of them had to cancel them in the end as we were ready to leave not sure they would ever have turned up tho haha My partner had been there before and said it was good service the first time. Found it a bit unprofessional. Starter and mains were good tho.

Our service was superb, we were never left with empty cups or plates. Our mains came as soon as our starters were finished. Our server Alannah was friendly and professional, and checked on us regularly to ensure we were attended to. Every item we ordered was heavenly, and we will certainly be coming again. Not a cheap place to eat by any means however you pay for the level of service and the quality of food. 10/10.

I went to Zizzi and tried to order a cocktail, they denied my young scot card despite having nowhere online saying that they do not accept it, they had absolutely no reason to deny my ID, extremely disappointing as they have accepted it here in the past, very unhappy with this.

For those craving a taste of the classics, my partner swears by their bolognese, a rich and flavorful dish that never disappoints. The courgette fries are a must, crispy, tender, and just amazing. To end our meal on a refreshing note, we always indulge in their affogato or tiramisu dessert. A perfect palate cleanser, it's the ideal way to round off a satisfying dining experience.

Welcomed by lovely lady who let us choose our seat. Drinks served, coffee remade as not extra hot but all done with a smile and very accommodating. Pizza was tasty and overall a lovely relaxing lunch. Will definitely be back 😊

We used to visit this Zizzis a lot but hadn't been for sometime. Pizza's still good. The Rustica pizzas looks huge but luckily nice & thin 👍🏻😆. Staff excellent, friendly, quick service. However disappointed there is no longer seating in balcony area for 5 owing to intrusion of screening from next door's restaurant. As an aside the remaining balcony area currently looks too crowded with seating arranged as it is. The balcony area was the USP for this Zizzi's, but they were busy enough so what do I know 😆.

Great food. We always visit Zizzis every time we come to Glasgow. Our server, Blanca is brilliant, so welcoming and friendly to us every time.

ZIZZI'S you did not dissapount. What a lovely end to our visit to Glasgow. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Zizzi's Princess square this afternoon, the atmosphere was great and the service from our waiter Lomond was nothing short of outstanding. Lomond was very patient and helped us with recommendations as it was our first visit to Zizi's. We will definitely return.

Seven of us had a booking in Zizi's last night. Great table, great service, great start. We ordered a really varied selection of starters and mains. Superb. Charming staff were very engaging. 👏

Pizza rustica - I appreciate it’s a particular style of pizza, however rock hard, inedible edges aren’t that satisfying or appetising really - seemed particularly thin and toooo crispy. Toppings - all fine. Cappuccino, far too hot-hot, milk had cooked and it lacked any great coffee flavour. Tiramisu- no variation of texture - a common mistake is to saturate the sponge and so it loses all body and becomes a mush that disappears in the cream. Sorry.

Lomand the waiter was absolutely fantastic quick to seat us and and quick to take order couldn’t have asked for any better service.

It's not often that one server completely invigorates and enriches a dining experience like Lomond singlehandedly did for us. My husband and I have had a really difficult time recently as we both lost our jobs and our dog had to be put down, so we decided to have a little date night to lift our spirits. The second we came in, Lomond greeted us with a smile and happy demeanour and engaged us in genuine conversation. This made us both smile, a scarce response from both of us as of late. When he was grating my parmesan cheese he locked eyes with me in a way that said 'i understand and it will be okay.' and the wildest part? I really truly believed him. Thank you Lomond. Thank you Zizzi. Thank you life for being strange enough to bring little pockets of joy.

Poor experience, pasta was not good, certainly not freshly made, only one member of staff looking after tables. Manager and others stood about doing nothing to help. Disappointed.

I made a last minute booking but still the staff managed to accommodate a request from my 9 yr old son. The staff were so helpful, welcoming and the food was absolutely first class. We plan to come back soon. Would highly recommend 🙌

Once went there, and the server must have been either quitting or brand new or just completely on drugs. He brought out the wooden dishes that the pizzas and such are served on, completely fine right? afterwards he offered for us to KEEP THEM, I don’t know if this is custom for zizi’s but it was the first time that it happened, they weren’t washed and i felt a little confused and said no. He was quite friendly to deal with, just a little tad insane. After our delicioso meal, the man attempted to play a game. He for real came up to us like jigsaw and muttered the phrase “do you want to play a game”, bewildered, I asked what his little game was and he stated that we could either pay the table infront of us’ bill or our own. Now, let’s just say I am a gambling man, and I would never let this opportunity pass us by. And I promptly paid my own bill, which he exclaimed i was boring and our bill was higher. The men at the other table looked rather uncomfortable and actually disclosed they didn’t want to pay for our bill, I am unsure how this went down with the insane guy because after I refused his challenge I left with my tail between my legs, a broken man.

Always enjoyable visiting Zizzi's. Lots of choice, often special offers for Zillionaire members. Servers are very knowledgeable and very willing to assist with any questions. We always enjoy the food. Nothing is too much bother.

Terrible Food (Chicken Calabrese) 1. Not what was described on the menu - 2.chicken tough 3. hardly any sauce 4. burnt fries instead of potatoes 5.roasted chilli consisted of stalk and seeds only …. 6.Staff didn’t ask if the food/ meal was ok or not (Maybe just as well) poor poor quality of food - As a once regular me or my family unfortunately will not be back

Want to give a big thanks to Lomond the waiter, who was exceptionally accomodating, despite the huge workload he was managing, and who's bubbly personality made me laugh more than onece! perfect atmosphere, and as always amazing food to the best standard. Really enjoyed it!

Very poor presentation of food. Food was bland and stodgy. Waiter walked off saying he would collect cutlery but never returned - had to request someone else to assist. Quite concerning how fast the mains followed the starters - clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for some time. In all honesty, I've ate better ready meals.

Been to Zizzi Princess Square and it has never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is lovely and Vahe the head chef never disappoints. The size of the pizza is immense 👍

Turned up, maitre d was welcoming. Very busy Saturday night. Couldn't find my booking. He simply said ill find you a seat. Food was scrumptious, recommend the organic red wine. After a lovely meal, I checked booking. I'd booked the wrong Saturday. Top marks to Zizzi for customer service.

Have eaten at this restaurant on a few occasions and never had cause to complain. The food today was extremely poor. The Mushroom risotto was very salty and the spaghetti bolognese was more like spaghetti soup. Very watery with hardly any meat. The 2 stars have been given for the waiter who was very professional and friendly and very apologetic and we were only charged for our drinks. Sorry, but we won't be back

Michal looked after us. We had a lovely time. I really love the indoor/outdoor feel of the balcony seating. Perfect for the unpredictable Scottish weather. Rustica piccante is my favourite pizza! 🍕

Staff were very accommodating and kind. We initially sat outside the restaurant however my daughter, who is autistic, was a bit anxious sitting near the railing so I asked to move inside and within minutes our food was at our new table. I also had a mishap when paying and had to wait to sort it out with my husband via text. The lady serving us was very patient and made me feel very comfortable. The food was excellent and we had a lovely meal. Thank you x

The food was nice and what you would expect from Zizzi. I would say however the kids pasta seemed much bigger than my local Zizzi, so that was a bonus! We sat on the terrace which was nice, especially if you are a people watcher 😉. Service was good we had an attentive waiter. All round nice meal which you should expect from a Zizzi.

Service terrible. Grumpy service, no smiles, just a big guy looking bored at his job. White wine warm had to go to the bar myself to ask for ice to cool it down. Ran out of vanilla ice cream, so meant any sweet that used vanilla ice cream was affected i.e chocolate brownies.we declined sweets due to almost all sweets being affected. Worst of all we were then left to pack our own food if we we wanted to take it away. normal restaurant practice is to finish meal, ask to take it home, staff pack it and bring it ( this also to be zizzis practice). imagine the look of confusion on my 8 years old face as your waiter brings us the boxed to pack out own dinner, he hands her the box to pack her own. so we pack our own dinner before he clears the plates. then need to go into the bar for a second time to request a bag to put all the dishes in as we need to take them home. when paying the bill we are asked if we want to leave a tip , i normally tip about 10% for good service. tonight i refused a tip for the poor service. feel quite insulted when we are expected to pack our own food and then tip for service that should normally do this. is it now normal practice in zizzi to expect customers to pack their own food at the table into the brown paper boxes or is this just a lazy server? - kind of ruins the dining experience and calls in to question what "service" actually means, and then adds insults to ask if i would like to tip when the service was so poor? should you doubt this you should check your cameras from our visit.

Lomond was an excellent help when describing the menu especially as someone with allergies, he went into full depth about gluten free options and so helpful and friendly, I am definitely anxious about trying new places due to allergies but he made me feel as ease as my food was excellent, thank you so much for a good experience

Had a fairly pleasant meal at zizzi princes square - service started as good, however deteriorated throughout the meal (in particular I would note we waited a very long time after we had finished to get plates cleared and then the bill), staff on shift at the later part of the afternoon appeared more interested in their phones than the few customers that were in. Food itself was ok, not great considering the prices. Starters we had a mushroom thing which was nice, though found the bread part far too doughy and thick for a starter personally, the breads and hummus were ok. Mains I had a pizza which was not even warm, the pasta and meatballs were very dry and lacked any taste or sauce. Disappointing also that a restaurant that size could not provide tobasco sauce or crushed chillies which I like on a pizza. Overall the quality of food and service did not match the prices charged - wouldn’t be in a rush to go back unless it was a pre theatre or something
