the kebab meat on the pizza was absolutely rotten could not bring my self to eat the pizza as for chips and kebab meat again the kebab meat was absolutely rotten what a waste of money I have reported this to just eat for a refund I'm very disappointed as the food from here is normally spot on

guys the kebab meat unfortunately was not good after 1 strip I had to throw the rest of the meat away. I'd like to point out that I asked for fresh kebab meat to be cut on my notes this was not looked at. the chicken pakora was perfect I did enjoy that but it's not the same because I like to wrap it up with the kebab meat so I'm disappointed yet again

Ordered pizza from Papa Ali and it was a disappointing experience. The pizza had a burnt base with only cheese, lacking any toppings, making it tasteless. The service was equally subpar, with a counter staff member displaying rudeness and arrogance, oblivious to customer service. Not recommended – a complete waste of money. Unfortunate to have such a negative encounter.

Food was alright but paid for separate salad and sauce but never got it.

Kebab wasn't that good, hard bits on it and I asked for salad and it didn't have it on it. There was the smallest amount of cheese too.

Food was delicious, very tasty and I enjoyed it. Considering I tend to avoid takeaways due to poor quality, I can’t fault this one.

Guys the kebab meat was not nice at all it definitely was not fresh also the pizza was good on one side of it and the other side had a thin layer of filling this not acceptable.this is the second time now I have been given rotten kebab meat so now I have to make this review and be honest after all this order came to £28.41p it did not make the quality standards that I know you guys normally do. Very unhappy customer

We always go to papa Ali but weren’t impressed this time unfortunately. Chips reheated. Sauce missing. Usually is so so nice so will give benefit of the doubt and say it must be so busy tonight.

I've just returned from Papa Ali in Shieldhall Road Glasgow..I'm anaphylactic to Palm oil and the guy serving was INCREDIBLE reading everything,asking chef's etc what ingredients were in curries etc. Turns out it was in most of the curries but he made me an beautiful kebab..Palm oil free..was sooooo good to have a take away! Went over and above to help!! THANK YOU PAPA ALI!! And even suggested I bring my own oil in and he would get chefs to cook it if i wanted!! UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!!

I'm anaphylactic to Palm oil and not had a take away for 5 yrs since diagnosis. I had a yearning for an Indian curry and explained to manager. He went over and above to help me,asking chef's for ingredients, checking packaging ingredients on oil etc...turns out I couldnt have a curry due to the dreaded Palm being in most stuff cooked with the oil!! He made me up a beautiful kebab with a palm free pitta bread and as much meat as a family of 4 could eat! Even suggested if I brought my own oil in He would make me a curry!! Now that's what u call service!! THANK YOU PAPA ALI!! I'LL BE BACK!!

Great service, and food is always perfect

I ordered the Tandoori Mix Main Meal, the chicken was so tasty, the lamb was delicious, the sauce had a gorgeous taste, I also ordered a korma sauce it was everythingggg… the naan bread was so soft and fresh, I asked for a garlic naan, they delivered with rice and salad which tasted of fresh lemon and lime with fresh herbs. It was totally worth the money and a large portion, enough easily for guests. Will definitely only be ordering from here from now on. Ps surname is Packer don’t know why it says McCullagh

Amazing service from this place. I ordered £28 worth of food (all lovely) and somehow my address showed as the wrong address. After calling to find out where my delivery was, I was told it had been sent to wrong address but 15mins later, I had another fresh order from them. Not a lot of places would do this, as it is an expense to them. Top class service. Will defo order again

Item missing from order again, happened twice now. Just spoils the meal waiting on someone to turn up with it halfway through eating

Food always pipes hot and tasty, any issues will be resolved right away, guy on the till is a credit to papa Ali he’s what makes the restaurant tick up most respect to the guy any time you go in he works like a mad man, always most welcoming too 10/10 for that man, keep up the good work lads

Used to be 5 star but the past 3 times I've had a chicken pakora pick up its been over cooked and solid chicken. Ots a shanecas I love tge guys but think they think I'm tgatvpussed I won't notice even when I'm not. Cones out too quick too. Sorry guys. Won't be doing business again.

Food was extremely disappointing.

Used to LOVE the chasni pizza from here but not sure if they have changed chefs or what because it is not the same :( even the pakora sauce has some sort of mint taste to it. It’s a no from me. So sad as used to be one of my fave takeaways! Go back to what you used to serve please!!!

Also the size of the nan bread with the munchie box ?! Are you having a laugh ! My hand is bigger than the nan !! I get times are tough but come on ?? Surely someone is on the wind up

We ordered two pizzas and pakora. The pizzas were good and so was the pakora. No complaints. Food was decent standard and was quick delivery. Would order from here again.

Won't be coming back the standards have slipped I paid 25 pounds for two chicken korma and two fried rice and nann bread and poppadoms took them half an hour or more to make then get back home,The poppadoms were like a piece of cloth not crispy,Obviously old ones,They forget they ain't the only ones that cook out there and know about food Quality,This was dreadful everything was bad about it so bye Papa Ali and hello another takeaway shop,They won't care but if they Continue making bad food and trying to cut costs they will lose a lot more customers.

First order using Just Eat and first from here. It was as expected from reviews, it is one of those where it just tastes like the best you get. Well seasoned and very tasty. Great stuff. 👍👍

The food was good, would’ve rated higher if it was hotter. 50 mins to arrive, not too bad for a sat night. Forgot to deliver chips, guy in restaurant was apologetic and offered to deliver them or a refund. I didn’t fancy waiting another 50 mins just for chips which would’ve probably been cold. Overall it’s a shame as had the full order arrived and arrived hot I’d of scored 5 stars all over and doubt I’ll order from here again.

I've never used Papa Ali before but will be again without a doubt. Food was excellent, portions great and unlike a lot of takeaways the food was piping hot. One of the best takeaway curries I've had

Pizza was tasty but the order was incorrect. I asked for a pizza with half onions and cheese and the other half with pepperoni and donner meat, the pizza was covered in onions which I hate therefore could not eat it.

Food was very disappointing kebab meat was very dry

Curry was lovely, pakora was dried out and the chips were soggy.
