KIKU in Plymouth

Biggest ask!…please at least bring mains out together…not mine first then leave the kids hanging for a further 10 mins. Sharing dishes turn up here and there, all a bit of a mess to be honest. Far more efficient at lunch service as opposed to dinner when it’s busier.

Really nice atmosphere and food that isn't covered with sauses, toppings and mayo meaning you can actually enjoy the food. Never had a dissapointing meal here, portions aren't massive (depending on what you order) but aren't supposed to be as they are rich.

Could not fault the food. Attention to detail in both flavour and plating style. Sat at the Kitchen Bar and asked questions about the what they were making. I know this can be annoying for them as they are working but they we're happy to answer. Will definetly be back again! Best sushi I've had since going to a fusion Restaurant in Stockholm a few years ago!

My first visit to Oishi Sushi, and it won't be the last! Ordered the vegetable tempura bento, which comes with miso soup - the batter was crisp and light and the veg beautifully cooked inside, with a tiny quantity of sauce which provided extra flavour and didn't make the tempura soggy. Service was very good - polite and attentive and not at all overbearing. Thanks very much, I'll definitely be back!

Having regularly adventured to the food spots in the market, tea & bun have been by far my favourite! Fresh tasting food with wonderful flavours, all at good prices with great service to match. I particularly recommend the karage as it’ll beat any sort of fried chicken you’ve ever had.
