Brilliant soft play, have been multiple times. Staff are very helpful and the facilities are clean and appropriate for young children. A very pleasant place to spend time. Very well judged menu and great coffee!

I don’t have children but my friends each have a 2 year old and a newborn so we were looking for somewhere that the kids could be entertained but older kids weren’t running about. Koffee and kids is brilliant, it’s small enough that you can see and hear your children all over the soft play.. it also is adult friendly when you need to go in to rescue a two year old! It got abit busy as it is half term but wasn’t overcrowded.. the vanilla coffee was lovely and both ladies working there were very nice and helpful. I know my friends appreciated somewhere that their children were safe and they felt comfortable enough to sit with the babies to feed etc. They’ll be back and I will recommend to all of my friends with young children. Ps I didn’t eat but the food looked amazing and the children’s lunch bag was fantastic.

I have visited here 4 times this year and after the first time it’s just been out of desperation to keep my baby occupied on a rainy day as we are local to this place. The baby toys are filthy, none of the battery operated toys work (this hasn’t been a one off occurrence, it is this same every time we have visited). They also let much older kids in the baby area which is small as it is, a 5 year old jumped off a soft play cushion and almost landed on my baby. The outdoor area is just as dirty. Such a shame as it’s the only place in town of its kind. Friends I have visited with also feel the same. Hopefully somewhere else will open up in town and kids and Koffee will have to pull their socks up to compete!

Discovered this place today tucked away on a side road. From the outside you'd be forgiven for thinking it looks a little bit amateur, but inside the facilities and experience are excellent! It's a very clean, very safe/secure and very friendly place to bring babies/toddlers and our 2 year old son enjoyed it! It is small, but that works in it's favour as you can sit and enjoy a drink/meal and still be close enough to see and hear your children. Also the small size means it probably won't get horrendously busy like some other soft plays which get a bit overwhelming. Even better, they accept card which some small play areas don't. Reasonable prices for everything and proximity to the city centre adds to the appeal. Only thing to mention is that there is no car parking there, though there is a public car park just across the road (access via Parkway).

Will start with the only negative, the parking! It's very limited. BUT you can park on moulsham street for an hour or parkway car park which is literally 2 mins walk away. Or call up before to check if there is a space on the drive. The staff are lovely and very helpful! It is very reasonably priced and ideal for babies and toddlers and even some older kids as there is an outdoor bit too. It's all enclosed and safe and you can relax knowing the kids are safe! I visited with friends and the lovely lady gave us a small cake each did the kids which was a kind touch. Will definitely be back, just look up on a map before you go so you know where to park!

I love kids and koffee. There are lots of soft plays near or around Chelmsford but the food and decor are not as appealing to adults. Kids and Koffee is clean with an outdoor play area as well as indoor. Food choices are all pretty healthy and you feel able to relax while the children play. I could not recommend it highly enough- definitely worth a visit for any parent looking to tire out their children. They have a singing class on a Tuesday which I haven't been to yet but its meant to be great. 50p for babes in arms and £2.50 for toddlers.

Have been here several times with young children. There is 2 play areas, a small padded area for younger children and bigger play area for older children. You can sit at tables right in front of the play areas watching the children whilst you enjoy a coffee/ tea, so it's nice you can keep a watchful eye. Friendly staff. Only downside is very limited parking outside, but you can park up Moulsham street which is nearby for an hour

I've wanted to go to this pub for ages. The reason being it was Keith flints pub. I was absolutely made up that I've photos of me outside which I'll frame. I do live far away so this has made my year being a big fan. I went inside and it was not what I expected. To be honest it has some nice charm to it. A real nice country pub. Prices are reasonable and the bar staff very friendly. I would recommend and would love to go back again.

Friendly staff, too small for the size of hospital & the menu needs a look at. I felt visiting family at the hospital for a week, meant the menu was too much of the same type of food. Aside from this, meals were available from Marks&Spencer but there was no where to heat them up.
