Khushma Cottage in North Hertfordshire

2nd time with mediocre meal. Meat tough in all food, wrong dish delivered, won't order again.

Half a hour late, got the chicken tikka wrong and told me there’s nothing he can do, wasn’t helpful.said next time he would not now though.

Ordered of just eat, food was late chicken tikka was also wrong spoke to them and they said”nothing I can do now” after putting it the order notes what I wanted.

I recently ordered a takeaway from this fantastic Indian restaurant, and I have to say, I was blown away! The staff were incredibly accommodating, making sure my order was just right and even offering helpful suggestions. The food itself was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and fresh. Each dish was packed with authentic taste and perfectly spiced. The portion sizes were generous, and everything arrived hot and well-packaged. I will definitely be ordering from here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an amazing Indian takeaway experience!

Lacked flavour, spices was very disappointed I ordered chicken curry, pilau rice, Bombay aloo, onion Bagi and popodoms.

Absolutely beautiful food..can't believe I've lived here all these years and not tried sooner. Quick and polite delivery. In particular the onion bhaji where cooked to perfection. Chicken tikka massala was vibrant and the chicken melted in my mouth. Look no further order from here

First time ordering. Delivery was lovely. Presentation was good. Food was awful. Curry was over salted with no taste. Starters. Lamb was lumps of fat. Garlic rice had again no flavour. £30 in the bin unfortunately. Tried something new & was bad. Will stick to cooking my own as this chef clearly has no idea of flavour.

Bit disappointed - Chips were cold and they forgot Naan bread. It was eventually delivered after I called restaurant but we had almost finished dinner by time we got it

Had a birthday curry party of 12 last night. Friendly and helpful staff. Cracking food. Especially as we were a mixed group of vegan and meat eaters and the staff helped everyone with orders. We’ll be back!

chicken curry nothing to it really no depth didnt taste at all like curry lamb saag sauce was taste lamb chunks not as soft as it should of been quite disappointing

Unfortunately poor. No sauces or salad with the meal and the poppadoms we ordered despite every other local Indian place offering this. No free item despite the Just Eat saying they’d give a free item above a certain spend. Food lacking in flavour.

We have a takeaway from here regularly and it is always super tasty. The delivery guys are always really friendly and we thank them. Last time the onion bhajis were missed from our meal and we called them to let them know. To be honest, I forgot about it but this time, when I ordered online, they called to check and added the bhajis to the order. What more can you ask for in terms of customer service and tasty food? Whilst the order was just for myself early delivery was much appreciated. However, if this formed part of a dinner party it could cause issues.

Korma wasn't the best this time around, it was also not very hot. Didn't enjoy it, which was a shame. Delivery was on time, and rice was hot.

Really tasty food, order spot on and quick delivery. Great vegan options with chickpeas, veggies or quorn. Very hot naga! Nothing was too oily like a lot of Indian restaurants. Will definitely order from here again.

I have been here once and I defiently will be returning. Polite and engaging staff, the food is top qualitiy, I had a korma and the chicken could not taste fresher. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks to the Khushma Cottage team!

Lovely food, loved the naan wrap and the quorn curry - spot on!

Wish I knew about this place sooner! A big group of us were graciously welcomed, as the only vegan/ non meat eater in the group, I was delighted the vegan options were clearly labelled. The food was honestly delicious and I was excited to eat my leftovers the next day! The bring your own bottle policy is FAB as we could all drink exactly what we wanted. Thank you to all the staff at khushma for looking after us :)

Best vegetarian curry around. So nice to be able to order a delicious quorn jalfrazi, saag aloo etc. Honestly my experience with Khushma Cottage has been very positive 10/10

Really happy with the quality of food!!

Cannot recommend Kushma any less than 10/10. We got stuck in a rut ordering from the same Indian take away regularly, but gave this a try and haven't looked back. Please try this place, you won't regret it

Food was wonderful as ever - its easily the best indian restaurant in the area

Dreadful meal. The lamb rogan was tough and stringy, not tender at all. And no flavour or spiciness to the sauce. Tomatoes were green and underripe. I couldn't finish the meal, would not recommend

They forgot to deliver the poppadoms we'd ordered. The delivery person refunded the cost of those, but not the dips etc. which were fairly useless without them. Some of the order was cold, otherwise fairly average.
