KFC Wetherby - A1M Services in Harrogate

Slowest service ever been waiting for my mini meal for ages and we are not the only ones today.. Staff doesn't seem to be bothered whatsoever moving slowly and carelessly even though they see there are sooo many people waiting for food could have apologised if they are short of staff or something.. The screen has been like this for like 30 minutes as a minimum without any changes waisted half a day here dont bother ordering here YOU WILL WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME

Waiting for 10-15 minutes in front of the ordering till, I was either transparent or invisible as people were just ignored me...well done Tina, great customer service. I understand that they had 5 orders in a queue,but I had to use the meal vouchers....so either pay at the machine,or wait....for other people to finish ordering. Thank you.

Horrible experience due to Kelly manager being absolutely useless to exchange the food they have put wrongly for the kid on our order and refused to help. Don’t bother to write the full story you just don’t deserve to waste my energy. Just wanted to let you know manager Kelly shouldn’t be manager as she obviously lacks the competence. I would give 0 star for the experience I just had in there. Avoid the place.

Big sign telling you to use self service and treated terrible by staff. Rude when trying to pay by cash and get an actual receipt.

Food was absolutely vile my two year old spat his out when I tried it it was vile our hot wings Were cold and soggy burgers had a funny taste and chips were freezing worst I have ever had

Stopped at Weatherby services while coming home from a holiday. Waiting 20 plus minutes for my order and once I got it absolutely horrible very greasy and over cooked. Started eating it as I was hungry. We just to say most of my food went into the bin couldn’t be bothered to complain due to the long waiting time . To be honest KFC has gone down hill big time , this is the second bad one I’ve had now first horrible one was a totally different one miles away. That’s it for me , sorry KFC that’s me done no more I’m afraid.

We stopped here for a break from our drive and can say this was not a disappointment lovely would call back

Always a treat calling in here for a KFC or the M&S Food market. Warm and pretty clean for the number of people who use this place... 🚻

Very poor service and run out of fillet chicken

I'm not a big fan of KFC at the best of times, but this was a particularly mediocre version. For a road trip stopover, it is a hole filler and not much more besides. I'd probably recommend Burger King instead.

Good luck getting any food , closed during the night, won't open till 10am ...

The Chinese food place was good considering it was a service station

Disappointing...went there for the 20 hot wing offer and they told me they do not participate in this KFC offer. Didn't even know they could do this!!!

Food was fine, more expensive than my local. Service was slow af. About 10 people who ordered after me got their stuff first, then the cashier had a row with someone who took their stuff without the number being called out.

Quieter than most, plenty of space.

We stopped here for lunch on our way home yesterday. As usual it was very busy but we managed to find a table and we both ate from Burger King. The staff were constantly clearing and cleaning tables so everywhere was tidy.

Was busy. Food came out quick. Burger was top quality nicely prepared not slapped together. Staff smiley and and cheerful great service. Restaurant very clean too

Prob the worst KFC I have ever been too, waited 20 minutes for 3 pieces of overpriced chicken. (£6.49 for the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever had) When it was finally served I had to ask for napkins and was given 1 napkin. The chicken was overcooked and dripped grease, when I finished the bag was soaking in fat, quite disgusting tbh. Won’t be returning.

Waited 18 minutes for boneless meal. Complained as bus was leaving in3 minutes said he would find it delay, but just turned back on me and another man complaining. When food came no apology, coke was flat and no ice in. Food tasteless. Had to put in bi as wasn’t allowed iron bus so only got to eat1 priest of chicken and a few horrible chips. I will never waste another £10 in this food outlet!

The chicken was almost black,as the oil needs changing the staff I dealt with have problems communicating in English which is a problem when you ask for a breast and a leg 🦵.I didn’t get the breast,just black flavourless chicken 🐔

Very busy but staff at Costa were pleasant and efficient.

This is by far the best KFC in the UK for me. The food is tastier than any other KFC I go to. It is always busy, so food is always freshly cooked but you don't wait too long for it. The staff do a great job. If you're going on a long trip, definitely stop at this KFC

Shocking service! AVOID if you're in a hurry as you nearly end up having to pay for parking! Meant to be "Finger licking good" but only give 1 serviettes..!! Chips undercooked and food nearly cold by the time they get round to giving it to you..

This is the worst kfc ever visited. 40 minutes to wait nobody serves you . Staff are useless .

A very overpriced stop on the motorway at Wetherby A can of orange available in any High St for 50p is £2 75 ans a cheese sandwich £7 !! The toilets are busy and essential A place to avoid

kFC is not what it was like back in the day when they were seasonal flavours on the chicken. All you can taste is salt and the chicken in very greasy 😏.

Best KFC I’ve had in a long time. Food was prepared quickly and accurate to order (nothing forgotten as per my usual experience in other branches). Well cooked and tasty as it should be. Drinks machine wasn’t working at time of review.

Expensive and nothing special. Tables and chairs in eating area scruffy. Food not stand out good. Only used it for a rest break. Will probably avoid in future

A great service station for all your needs while traveling

Ordered a zinger burger and found bone in the burger. Fries were refried, old, and burnt (picture attached). No quality check is done clearly. It wasn't that busy either that you would blame it on that. Would not be going to this KFC again

This place is convenient to visit and fairly reasonably priced. The opening hours are fine and the food is usually really good (the teriyaki burger is terrible) and it is exactly what you would expect from a kfc

My son asked politely for 2 empty cups (paper) after a big order the attitude from the lady server was wow Ester it’s good customer service to be polite even break a smile He did explain why.

Very busy place liked the fact that food prices were the same as high street, only thing missing was a changing places bathroom for a wheelchair dependant person who needed a hoist up to receive pressure during a long journey.

Very unprofessional staff. Couldn't care less. If you want to be ignored before the tills close and only then be acknowledged. This is the perfect place

Nice open space, good food, busy but we'll organized and clean. We stopped here on our travels and everything was positive about our stop. Plenty of toilets, food came hot and fast, plenty of parking. Couldn't have asked for anything more from a services.

Deary me it was expensive!!! My wife had one of the veggie burgers and loved it. 🙄

Inadequate hgv parking, nightly load thefts, expensive... shall I continue... save your time and money....avoid!

Avoid at all Costs!! Go to Burgerking or Chow! Waited 15mins (not fastfood really), chicken was cold, told a member of the staff and the guy who had just handled the cash came and put his hands all over the Chicken. Josh was on his phone at the back despite people queing up at the till to order, then handling food with his bare hands and then to top it off the tiniest portion of SOGGY fries ever!! Chicken was soggy too! Wont be stopping for KFC again 🤢

Arrived around 6pm on a Thursday evening and the staff told us they were closed?

Fairly standard KFC at a motorway services. Been twice and on both occasions had a fair wait for food. On the last visit (a Monday evening at 7:15pm) there were about ten orders ahead of me and I had a 15 minute wait! Not really fast food eh 😢? On the upside, they put an extra piece of chicken in my Mighty Bucket for One meal - by accident or as inconvenience for my wait I am not sure (the server didn't say anything and I hadn't complained), but I'll take the extras from my favourite fast food chain anytime thank you 😊 🍗🍗🍗.

You can't get a cup of tea with your meal because apparently the machine is broken... which I've been told on my last four visits. So I went to Burger King instead.

Not very nice,over cooked fries and not very warm but place was busy so don't know why it felt like chicken had been hanging about waiting to be bought. we were a piece of chicken short as well which was annoying,but couldn't be bothered to queue up again,expensive meal at £23 but not much else on offer x

Very long wait. Tepid food and chips were horrible, barely warm and tough as if they had been made for hours. If we weren't tired after a long drive we would have complained but just wanted to get home!

Ordered bucket for one for my Grandson, chicken was dried out, looked like it had been cooked for hours. Would have taken it back for a refund if we weren't already back on the motorway. Is this KFC now or Wetherby?

The food was like warm, yes they was busy, but you don't expect this service, if we hadn't been driving back from Banff, Scotland, and we was tired and wanted to get home would have taken it back

I ordered 4 hot wings and got 4 sparrow wings totally discusted and the have the cheek to charge for them I even took a picture of 3 of them what a joke

Worst KFC ive been to, service really slow even though quite and plenty of staff. Cup filled up with excessive ice so hardly any drink fries were raw/under cooked and the rest of the meal cold, really poor.

Only ever use for wee stops but this us one of the worst for parking..unclear markings and spaces are far too small for today's cars lots of people trying to park or get out of tight spaces

Not had a KFC for a couple of years mainly due to the pandemic, we had to stop at Weatherby services and was delighted to see a KFC, we ordered a few different meals, my favourite has always been a fillet burger, there was a very long wait, which was unacceptable really. When the meals arrived, dips were missing but I was shocked at the size of the fillet it was hidden on the bun, under the lettuce, the chicken was chewy a massive disappointment, this could be just Weatherby. My son had a wing that had feathers still attached, they were coated but surely someone should have spotted them. We didn’t complain as the queues had grown and we were running late, but if we have to visit Weatherby services again would give KFC a miss.

Staff did not seem to have a clue what was going on. Orders was showing on the screen as ready to be collected. At one point 10 orders was showjng to be collected. So every one was going to the counter. Turnes out food was waiting in the bags on the counter ready, but no drinks was ready. So food was standing waiting.i heard oke member of staff say if your going to chuck the food on like that you can sort it out your self. I dont blame her tho. Very poor service. On the up side food was still hot and very nice

If your here for fast food forget it The service here is so slow if they were going any slower they would stop Over 10 minutes for a plain fillet burger😡😡

I'm still confused how service stations fast foods are soo slow. I'm not at a services for a long sit down meal. I'm here to quickly grab food and go. I grabbed 2 items and it took 20 minutes.... On the bright side at least I got my food and it was very tasty !

Poor service and uninterested staff who weren’t bothered that you had to wait 25 minutes for two portions of popcorn chicken. Not even bothered when you criticise the standard of service. Avoid and use the new Leeds Skelton services 15 minutes away on the M1. Wetherby services used to be really good ….. not anymore!!

45 minute wait which is normal for here. Food adequate once you actually get it

This restaurant seriously needs an investigation send a mystery shopper. Waited nearly half an hour for my food absolute disgusting no apology for the long wait. I ordered my food from one of your Machines didn't even give me a receipt if you can't maintain them get rid of them is it the Staff I wouldn't say it was this branch is seriously understaffed and seriously needs help I've emailed a complaint in and you can't be bothered to respond

A really long wait time for basic food. Disappointed...

Probably the worst experience at a KFC I have ever had. There were various items missing from the menu that were still able to be ordered, which meant you just had missing items and no explanation until complaining. The main item that was missing was chicken, which would surely be worth mentioning at a KFC? Maybe a sign saying "no chicken left" would save customers from getting frustrated with you. Wait times were through the roof, it was painfully slow and just embarrassing to watch. It's called fast food for a reason, I only had a small order... It is worth noting that this was not a temporary increase in wait time and was observed throughout the duration of my visit, from sitting down through to finishing my food and setting off to my now delayed journey. Poor value and not a good experience, just go somewhere else.

Bad customer service , no one give a f..k about customers, managers are useless, cashier is scratching her bottom, missing things from order . I hope area coach have a look on cctv an take some action.

The slowest fast food place EVER! ridiculous waiting times.

Never in my life had suche a poor quality of KFC food. Fries were soggy, not fresh and cold. Wings were also cold, barely spicy No taste. I also ordered hot chocolate coste £2.99 and had that watery flavour poor quality chocolate. We also waited for food over 20 minutes, even there was no que and our order was first on board. This place doesn't match fastfood description. Staff looked a bit unhappy too. Will not come back to eat there.

I am really disappointed by the degrading quality of the burgers specially the Vegan burger patties at Moto weatherby services
