KFC St. Helens in Liverpool

Awful experience. Food was terrible quality and all of the order was wrong. When confronting the staff they were extremely rude, even what seemed to be the manager! Disgusting environment with rats running around everywhere. Will never be returning again

Went here on Sunday to get a take out order, spent £26... After placing the order, I left for home, but when I opened the bag, there were items missing and wrong items placed in the order. I called the store but was told I should have checked it before I left... Why would anyone do this?? It's not rocket science to place a simple order in a bag for a customer, is it?? Anyway, I got no help and was not driving back, so I decided to put up and make do with what we had.. But the chicken was dry and cold, like trying to eat roadkill !!! The gravy was not bad we all had a lump each!!!! The thing that surprised me more was I later got an email asking for feedback on my visit, so I completed this very honestly, I got a response saying that they were sorry and someone will be in touch the following day. 3 days later and nothing. KFC has really gone down hill, not only has the food become inedible, but the service and aftercare are none existant.

Chicken spot on but you often get a dry tough peice covered up with the good stuff if it’s dry bin it don’t let yourself down the paying customers yes that’s us are not stupid.

Decided to get a take away for the family and order a variety of things. Got the food home which was about a four minute journey and served up our order. Firstly most of the food was at best Luke warm. In the order was a three pieces of chicken not as a meal. What I received was three drumsticks, not the usual three different piece selection. Three drum sticks that had more coating than meat. They were pathetic. The fries were soggy and not hot but the boneless chicken was fine. I paid £26 for our order and Luke warm food with 3 spindley chicken legs with soggy cold fries is not good enough. This is one place I will not be visiting again.

Usually go to Warrington KFC as we've have experienced poor service & food at St Helens on our last trip there. Had been told it was much improved. Yet again left drive thru to find at home missing popcorn chicken & cold wings. This place really is badly managed unfortunately. Server was polite at window. As other reviews really,probably best to avoid and stick with Warrington or Widnes

Got out of car and nearly broke my neck on ice … after 5 days they have still no removed ice for customers … half of menu not available and what was available had to wait 15 mins and was horrible … whats fast food about that … food on tables everywhere and toilets were a disgrace

Order arrived by Deliveroo on time missing fries and drinks after spending nearly 30 pounds I would have expected a return delivery with missing items instead I have to order again with 3 months to get my money back …. I won’t bother thanks

Drive thru shocking takes an age food wrong cold service rubbish staff not bothered manager not bothered. Go anywhere and I mean get a pot noodle instead of going here.

Truly awful place. Don’t get me wrong plenty of staff just no pride in their work place or providing the right levels of service(which are pretty low to begin with). Hygiene is disgraceful never seen a restaurant which so much debris/food lying around.

The staff was very rude and had to wait for nearly 45 mts in the drive thru.I asked the staff when paying 'why the meal is 7.49 while its on the advert its 6.99 ".She said dont know why. Terrible.Does this company have area managers to monitor these stores????????? Avoid this place . Please.

WORST KFC I have ever eaten !! Fries were ok but the main event...the chicken pieces... just tasted of oil. So greasy and disgusting. Please KFC St Helens teach your staff to cook chicken properly. Never going here again.

Please, please don't order from this particular site for delivery. The food/chicken burger was cold and poorly presented, buger and salad hanging off the bun. Missing items and even wrong items sent. The food was so greasy and tasteless, refund requested and that's not like me. Most in bin.

Stay well clear from KFC St.helens. this place is absolutely shocking. I would of given it zero stars if it would let you. Waited 40 mins in the drive through. Got to the intercom. That wasn't working. Got to the window , no one came, got to the final window and they said there was only chicken on the bone left. Oh and I needed go back around because there wasn't any tills there!!!!! Jokers Then tried to order online. Waited an hour and then they cancelled the order. Never again will I order anything from here

I’m being asked to rate this 1/5. But I give it a zero. Worst place ever for service. Sat at the drive through ordering station for 5 minutes without being attened to. Decided to drive round only to be told that it was not in service. But there where no signs on it telling me that. Then was told that they had no gravy but had beans. So ordered beans and called my wife to make some gravy at home. Got to the pickup windows only to be told they had gravy but no beans!!!!! Total farce. If the manager reads this please reply with contact details as I would like to speak with him/her.

Kfc recently put out a message saying this particular restaurant was under new management and would be better. Food is still awful and 3 items missing by the far the worst kfc I've ever been to. Avoid.

Voted the number 1 worst restaurant in St Helens we had to check it out! It did not disappoint. Food was cold and vile, not like any other kfc! Chips hard as stone and very rude staff. You cannot make this up I ask you to go down and enjoy a real life version of kitchen nightmares! Make sure you bring a packed lunch, you won't be eating here haha

Wonderful quick service! Lad on the drive thru was friendly & helpful. Food was delicious as always! Will be coming back!

Missing items again, long waits at the drive through, food was luke warm, Not a great visit at all. Staff try hard.

2 customers in the place 5 staff behide counter tables not cleaned after last customer when food came not on a tray in a large bag I sat down the food was cold I don't like to complain I won't go back again some other customer came in from her drive throw to complain that her food was cold as well my partner just said let's go we don't come here again

Ordered online the matchday double bucket supposed to be 10 spicy wings and 10 pieces of origional recipe chicken, they sent 10 spicy wings and 10 bonless chicken pieces which would have cost less than the bucket price. They have done this before and never answer the phone so you cant even get them to correct it. A place quite frankly to avoid like the plague.

Long wait for Luke warm food, took over 35 minutes to get our food via the drive through not good enough for fast food

I went to this fine establishment on 25 of march where there was a medium size queue, so when I got to the front I was handled by someone called Margret who was very helpful and once I ordered it was estimated 5 mins of waiting but I got it in 3 mins when I tasted it my taste buds exploded with joy the chicken was very flavorsome and succulent so I went to get some more and they gave a discount for me and my son and my obese daughter we ordered 3 zingers with the zinger hot wings it was just to my perfection so we sucked up our drinks and left leaving a tip for Margret I would recommend this to anyone, it was a great value of money worth every penny :) I don't know what all these JOKEMEN are doing with the one star reviews it is a violation to this COUNTRY!!!

Food was warm and well presented, bit of a wait in the drive through, staff seemed friendly. Some litter around the car park which needed to be cleaned up.

Ordered food which had an off smell to it and tasted rank. Went into get a refund and the manager said it was the oil. If the oil hasn’t been changed why are they still serving it to paying customers going to make someone seriously ill. Should be closed down horrible franchise all the workers don’t have anything between their ears and get orders wrong on the daily! They must employ any Tom dick and Harry. AVOID.

Food smells OFF! And smells of cigarettes! Won’t be eating any of it. Chicken box was all ripped so the chicken was just everywhere! Freezing cold! I’m disgusting! Paid £32 for off food!

Terrible, never get an order correct , its almost like they try to miss items off its that consistent!

Went about 2 weeks ago my wife ordered 2 rice boxes when opened in a nearby car park no rice just dried up lettuce took them back,some jobswoth said blankly my wife ordered a salad box.no apology just a half hearted grunt,went again on another occasion they was supposed to open at 12 noon this was 12.20 also staff in kitchen no masks worn by any staff disgusting horrible place

Dreadful food but the manager Michael was apologetic and could not have been more helpful. Gave us a refund or replacement meal. Will go again

This place really needs to be closed down it's a disgrace, they never get anything correct, always have things missing, or wrong food given absolute shambles

A word of advice for anyone even thinking of buying the kids meal boxes .DONT.. there a disgrace only one nugget sized pc of chicken and a side .. ice cream or a yogurt with a small drink what a complete rip off .. I couldn’t even complain as no one bothers to answer a phone so with driving back in to town for me it a 4 mile round trip I couldn’t even take it back .. my kids just laughed at the one pc of chicken that was in a box it looked like it was someone’s left over at the end of a decent meal ... kfc should be ashamed of themselves for describing this as a meal ...

Really terrible not surprised they’ve got such a low score. No chips wtf? Replaced with one ONE hash brown. No ice tea replaced with Dr Pepper (they failed to mention this would be the case). Tried the new vegan burger £4.49 extortion for such a boring bland burger not even any crunch to it just a sloppy dry piece of soya. Staff were friendly enough but food just not even in stock. First visit to a KFC in a while won’t be back.

I called Kfc next to Matalan,St Helens today 26.1.20. after work.I dont usually go there,only every now and again for a change. I ordered tower burger meal (which should have come with bacon on,there was none) I didn't go in the restaurant,it was the drive through.The young lad who served me was ok,as serving goes. I went to the pick up point and on getting my meal i sat on the car park to eat it. The chips were stale,burnt and all i could taste was grease.The burger was just about ok.i ate it but didn't enjoy it. It is the lastvtime il go tobthat particular restaurant.The one in Widnes was spot in the last time i used it,which was quite a while ago now.On looking up the reviews for KFC St Helens most of them were bad and had only 1 star.Something needs to change in the St Helens branch but i am just a customer with an opinion. This is by far the worst kfc i have ever visited. Food is substandard the place is a mess an absolute embarrassment to the kfc brand even down to the pot holes on the carpark that will damage your vehicle how this place stays open is beyond me when widnes or the a580 branches are only under 10 miles away from the town . Its simple if you want a kfc do not come to St Helens

Ordered food on Just Eat at 2:10 and received it at 4:45. Absolutely shocking food. My food was stone cold the gravy had a film on the top and was turning solid. Between KFC and Just Eat the services are shocking. The so called manager at the St Helens branch was very rude and put the phone down on me when I was speaking. This places needs shutting! Rude staff, slow service and disgusting cold food. Would not recommend

Monday evening 10pm informed no Chicken and no gravy !?. This place needs shutting down with immediate effect to save any pain for customers. Does McDonalds run out of burgers !?.

Absolutely shocking, taken 2.5 hrs to get here via Just Eat for not having any drivers available. Food was still warm apart from the hot wings, they were cold. Should be taken off there, not that reliable.

Absolutely awful!! My husband drove to KFC in st helens to order our meals. He waited 40 minutes before receiving our food only to discover they had given us fries instead of mashed potatoes- we deliberately ordered mash as we don't like their fries.our only options were to go back and collect the missing items ourselves or we could have them free another day!!! Maybe they should ensure that they have an "ADULT" on every shift and better organised rota so that they are staffed with the correct combination of skills needed to improve their performance. All in all I would suggest that you eat elsewhere!!

I have finally given up with this place! There are some good and some not so good KFC restaurants. This one in my home town is diabolical. For at least my last 10 visits, the hot drinks machine has been "out of order". Seeing as I only visit typically once per year, this means the machine has been out of order for at least 10 years. Why not admit that it is either permanently broken or, as is more likely, does not even exist. On my latest visit two weeks ago, all bins were overflowing, tables uncleared and litter all over the place. The local "chavs" also seem to descend on this place at weekends with gymslip single mothers and their reprobate illegitimate brats running amok all over the place. Whilst "assistance dogs" are allowed in the premises there was one loudmouthed female teenager sat at a table with a cockapoo. Since when have cockapoos been assistance dogs! Why did the staff not kick her out? Avoid this place at all costs.

Me and my partner decided to go through the drive through around 8:15pm. Paper signs up to say they don’t accept cash. I can understand that sometimes the card machine doesn’t work so they won’t accept card payments, but to not accept cash ? Finally got to the window to order only to be told they don’t have some food. My partner wanted a zinger tower burger meal which is obviously made up of boneless chicken. The member of staff then told us we can still have the meal but the chicken in the burger would be on the bone ???? After hearing this and what else they didn’t have we decided to leave it. So then had to queue in the drive through to get out half an hour after getting there. By far the worst KFC I have ever been to, kept going back as I thought it might improve but will not be going back again. AVOID this one.

Visited my freind in st Helens I live in Liverpool .the story unfolds I had just finished work I arrived my freind had his five young children who all had not eaten .I wanted KFC and too my surprise kids wanted the same .so I headed of too KFC of linkway we decided party bucket 26.99.and extra side orders got to counter placed order and was told no chicken on the bone ,I started too laugh as it was a joke ,no really we have no chicken .A KFC no chicken really yes try Warrington that was it .so googled KFC and there is one in

My wife was stood in this line for an hour and ten minutes. It seems like the ordering points and drive through take precedence over the people waiting in line. The staff were rude, the manager did not manage the situation at all "just kept saying ive turned a board off and contacted head office" the staff behind the counter were saying that they have to keep the line down and it was " nothing to do with them". I contacted the complaints department and they were better. But they are going to send me a voucher for my trouble. I WILL NOT REDEEM IT THERE!!!

Called in kfc sthelens for lunch ordered 2 zinger burger meals served quickly as chips must have been standing for a while as they were cold. The floor was like a skating rink all kinds of food on it , no sign of anybody cleaning tables or the floors. The toilets looked like they needed a good clean. Will not be eating there again.

Had to wait a shocking 30 minutes for the food to be prepared. The food wasn’t worth writing home about being very plain and not a great deal of taste in it.

Visited on the 28th Sep 19 and wished I hadn't. This KFC is by far the worst place I've had the displeasure in using for a long time, as others have stated it took me 20 minutes to get served as there was only one serving - 'very intermittently' at best, the main focus for the staff attention was the drive through customers (the actual restaurant wasnt busy nor was there many in the queue) It then took a further 15 minutes to receive a just a bargain bucket, there were lots of people waiting for food (13 inc me) which the order screen said was ready to be picked up yet there was no staff around to physically pass it to the hungry and very patient customers. So 35 minutes in total for a bargain bucket !! Unacceptable. The place in my opinion was very much understaffed and looked in need of some 'grown up' adult managers to supervise, the staff in the back looked like they were standing around just passing the time of day, there didn't appear to be any standards or professionality, there was also no one at all around to clear/clean tables or the floors which were filthy and laden with rubbish and food. This was most certainly the last time I personally will visit this particular KFC and advice others to go elsewhere then maybe someone in the KFC management will look at the damning feedback and take steps to improve this sinking ship of restaurant.

As the title suggests this must be THE worst FKC in the country. Take tonight, the doors were all locked (8 pm) so we decided to go through the drive-through after getting in a 15+ car queue we couldn't turn around so we were there until we got served ....... some 40mins later we finally got to the service hatch only to be told ... Sorry, no Chicken on the bone, no fillets , no fizzy drinks, no gravy and the list went on...... at this point I asked why don't you have a sign up informing customers about this lack of food before they queue up for 40minutes only to be told there's no food !!! The guy serving then said its company policy not to have any signs informing customers about the lack of food available !!! so after trying to explain how frustrating this policy is I asked to speak to the duty manager ... a few minutes later still no show ...... so I asked to speak to her again ..... sorry shes not available ("Jade" the duty manager) was a no show. Why does KFC plan to open another venue in St.Helens when this current one is run so badly? Its a total embarrassment to the KFC brand and still continues to outdo itself in the worst customer service ive ever experienced in any fast-food outlet ...... but hay theres some light at the end of the tunnel .... the receipt!! you can always fill in the online survey so head office can see the abysmal feedback it receives..... nope ..... because they never give you receipts to fill these surveys in !!! and I wonder why? ..... no recepits = no survey = no poor feed back !!! if any KFC area managers read this please DM me and ill be more than happy to tell you of a string of poor service experiences from the hell hole that is St.Helens KFC.

Food better place cleaner still didn't have a bad word to say till I was waiting saw a young girl park on the Disabled bay get out and sit on the outside bench and table with some of the KFC staff there is 2 bays the other was taken by another waste of space who wasn't disabled I expect it from low life not the staff who work there they should no better but when you have kids in charge of kids this is what happens if I had all the bad feed back this place has I would take a big advertisement to say sorry if you can go somewhere else do it

Had several bad meals and each time say never again but this was absolutely the last time ever.

Each time I have visited this KFC they have never got the order right only ever used it as I live near it but I prefer to travel to next town KFC .staff can't get order right place is always untidy food not good shame I waiting 40 years for a KFC in this town

St helens kfc has really gone down hill, the chicken was burnt and dry and left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth, the fries still had half the potato skin on and where cold and disgusting, the gravy used to be nice, not anymore though, no flavour and looks pale, I'm going to the one in widnes from now on.

Got a take away and specifically requested no mayo on one of the two zingers. Guess what both have mayo. One of the burgers is hard enough to be a house brick. The pepsi coke taste of soda water not pepsi. Just look up the burger on the website then look at the rubbish I have been given and ask yourself Do you want to eat here?

My son has just been to kfc an was told he cud take order what he asked for because what he asked for didn’t exist he got home after an extremely stressful experience to find that his order was short an on top of that the food was not just incomplete but the chicken was full of human hair when I rang the store to complained I was greeted with a very rude member of staff that put the phone down on me three times an refused to give me her name an told me to speak to a store manager in the morning well after spending 26 pound an you can’t even eat the food to be told to wait till next day then that is not very good an I will not be going there again an don’t intend to leave it there I will expect a full refund an a full apology but that don’t take away the whole bad experience of take out an disappointment not to be able to eat an then to be greeted with maybe stressful but definitely unhelpful staff I will take this as far as needed

Went on a Sunday night. Waited close to an hour when there was 3 people in the store. Had to go in store because the person on dive thru took 15 minutes to serve us & didn’t know what they were doing. Got told they had no chocolate sauce, no gravy, not cups for the crushems and no burger buns. There were 1 member of staff on serving and giving food & they were all very unhelpful and rude. Forgot some of my order after me driving home and checking. All round the trip was one of the most stressful experiences and we all left very unsettled and not even feeling like our food.

Visited on Friday the 22nd and the place is shocking first off 20minute wait just to get served on the counter having not having a card on me to use the machines and only 2 members and f staff front of house both trying to get orders out and serve the customers waiting having been served it was another 20 minutes wait to receive the food whilst trying not to stick to the floor once the food arrived the chicken was soggy as were the chips I know this restaurant gets busy on St. Helens match day but this was ridiculous most I’ve waited in the past was 20 minutes it seems putting these screens as slowed everything down

No corn, no crushems,and very rude unfriendly staff, practically threw food at us through drive in, no thank you off any staff!!

Went to St. Helens kfc..the bins in the restaurant over flowing with rubbish and food, nearly every table needed cleaning, and there was only four tables in dining, had to take my finished tray over to the counter and tell the staff there was no room in the bin as the rubbish in there was all falling out. She looked at me as if to say ... arsed and said ok and grinned at her work mate and carried on chatting. There was food on the floor, There was a group of young lads in there taking over two tables using disgusting language and wasn’t even eating they had gone in to sit down to stay out of the rain. We heard them say this .. amongst everything else they was coming out with. The chicken was over cooked the fries was luke warm. The whole experience was dreadful. There was plenty of staff chatting behind the counter who could of cleanned Front of house. I have ran restaurants for over 18 years and I’d be devastated if this was one of mine. Absolutely shocking!!! If I had the option to rate this zero stars I would have

Came in both order screens out of order went to toilet that out of order asked for rice box “sorry we have no rice” Sat down couldn’t find the salt “sorry we have none” what restaurant runs out of SALT?! Then they forgot half of our order what a shambles il go McDonald’s or Burger King next time!!

Literally just visited it’s 630 got served by a girl with blonde hair, The service I couldn’t fault got rid of the young lads that’s definitely the service that you should get every time you go !!! Keep her on the counter and employ better service staff just like her and you wouldn’t get such bad reviews off people including myself previously

I hark back to the days when I were a lad, when this KFC was capable of cooking food properly. I've been there twice in the past month or so and I honestly don't know why I went back the second time, cause it was equally bad.

the food was not fit to eat, the skin on the chicken was cold hard and well over cooked. seem liked it had been cooked and then re-heated. the window were you order was shut it was filthy could not see through it.. I was ill later that night and all the next day after eating 2 pieces, binned the rest. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE " BE WARNED"

We visited at lunchtime after the students had eaten. The place was in disarray, trays left on tables, bins overflowing and rubbish strewn on the floor. The staff were happy to take your order and the food was just okay. The toilets needed some attention. We won’t be rushing back

Been tonight the food was spot on I’m talking finger lickin good it was perfect.Its dissapointing when you get naff dried up chicken that you could use as a football Been there experienced it from staff who say sorry about that couldent care if you dropped dead.Not tonight they got it right and I mean spot on.When you walk into a restaraunt see crap left on tables watch out the managers got no backbone and it’s lazy staff that are underpaid and don’t care walk out.

Dont know why we keep returning to St Helens KFC...totally lets the name down..went at approx 9 pm and not for the first time...no chicken! To be fair when they do have it chicken rends to be dry so dont know why we bother...will travel to widnes next time.

Me and my brother for a bonless banquet each which around £7 anyother kfc give you good meals this one give you patheticly small boneless chicken same size as a hot wing and served cold and small portions of chips and popcorn chicken that are also cold never go to here

I know KFC dont care, but they seriously need to do something about their St Helens branch. Staff have the customer service skills of a damp cabbage, they are stupidly slow, they never know how to put promotions through the till and they always get the order wrong.

This place gets no better its KFC fault you would think if your the biggest chicken place in the country you would make shore they were the best .KFC is worn out didn't care they need some competition to wake the up if someone dose this I would drop kfc in a heart beat

Came here 6th October from a day out with our2 granddaughters aged 5 and 1. Went to drive through No hot drinks or icecream ( never had ice cream in at least 2 years) so ordered yoghurts and plain fillet burger and WATER ( as they cant have fizzy drinks)x drive to next window to collect food and hot drinks machine was on!oh its just came in was the reply we got. Then we drive off . I looked in bag only recieved 1 yoghurt so had go inside for other. Got home food freezing and 1yr olds burger smothered in ketchup and looked pale so all got binned and she had a yoghurt!!! Absolute Disgrace will never be going back.

We Just visited KFC only to find that it's absolutely shocking! We waited at least 20 mins in the drive through queue only to find that when we got the food it was freezing cold... I advise anyone to stay away from this KFC, it's absolutely shocking, we are never returning!

These people who are serving food dont really do give a toss about you.... the supervisor is sat there on Facebook or something their customer service is shocking they cant even pick up a phone.... 100% wouldn't recommend on going there. sooner go mc dees up the road,at least they get your orders right !!! I visit here quite a lot during my lunch breaks, and I am genuinely surprised at the level of vitriol people seem to hurl at the place. Come on people, it's KFC, not the Savoy! To be fair, it's not the best KFC around and it can be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but I can honestly say I've never been ill after dining there, and I've been going in for about twelve years!

Saint Helens KFC has to be the worst KFC ever. How on earth can they get it so wrong. The coating of the chicken is always soggy and greasy but the chicken inside is dry and tasteless.

St Helens KFC has to be the worst in the country. I travel a lot and eat from KFCs all over. I actually live in St Helens so have used this branch 5 - 6 times now. Would of used it a lot more if it wasnt such a let down. but wont be going there again after tonight, the place always looks dirty. Hygiene is not priority here. No wonder they have a huge problem with rats. Out of all my visits there they have NEVER got the order right. i think if you order more than 3 meals from here at any one time it confuses them.And i cant blame the lack of training. Surely you dont need training to read a screen. Tonights chicken pieces and strips was very dry. Even the popcorn chicken just wasnt chicken. Sorry to say but i think St Helens KFC needs closing down.

I tried this place again after not going for over 6 months and it's still as bad as ever. Must be the worse KFC around and how the brand haven't done something about it is surprising as it really gives KFC itself a bad name. I know how they keep going though, they take your money but don't give you all the order. Every single time I've gone to the drive through I get home to find I've not a full order. They are stealing in my eyes. The food is also not nice, fillet burger but the chicken only had one side coated. Stay clear and go to another fast food provider that ensure quality of their franchises.

Went at tea time on Friday. Pulled up to the usual outdoor bins overflowing, but a new thing... looks like a bin bag had been emptied over the drive thru. On going in not much better, one bin overflowing and dirty tables. A brush left in the lobby hinting that maybe the restaurant is cleaned occasionally? Although to be fair it was that covered in flour I doubt it could clean anything! Paid for my meals and got them home to find the large fries I’d paid for were only regular! This place is a joke!

I would not think of going back there again.The staff do not seem to be interested in what they are doing.Eggnor people who are waiting.When some body complains.The answer is.It is what it is and walk a way.They need some sort of supervision and training.The worse KFC .I have ever been Too.Staff attitude is terrible!

If I could give it no stars I would, it’s run by kids and they are so rude, food wasn’t hot tbf but the staff attitude is terrible, if they cleaned up outside maybe the rats wouldn’t be so happy there, rubbish everywhere breeds vermin, you reap what you sow.

Went there the other day it was shut it had run out of chicken and everything else went to widnes lots better cleaner brighter more friendly and they had everything I wanted usually the one in st helens town they are out of one thing on the order .You no when a place is dieing when they don't replace bulbs in the sighs it's not the worker's fault it's the owners read your reviews if widnes had a open late subway I wouldn't go to st helens ever

Absolutely terrible customer service, staff were so nonchalant. Soda machine was broken, we had ordered 3 big daddy meals (the perk being everything comes large size) and we were given 3 cans as a replacement. We asked could we have a big bottle instead as we'd paid for 3 large drinks to be told 'we have none and the delivery is only just coming in'. Now we had already waited at the drive thru for ages and watched as most of the delivery had come in. So instead of getting us a bottle a waitress at the back said 'just give them some large gravy'. Very unhelpful. We asked for extra cans instead and were told there weren't any more. By this point we gave up. Staff need to be trained, contingency plans put in place or just shut it down! After all that, the food was greasy and unappealing.

I arrived at KFC at 11:30 there was a sign on the door saying they would only be opening at 12:30 with apologies for any inconvenience caused, so I went away and came back at 12:30 only to find the sign had changed to 'sorry we will only be opening later today'.. what a waste of time, so unprofessional for a massive company. There was one girl in the shop on her own so I can only presume other members of staff hadn't turned up for there shift, surely a company so large should have contingency plans. Will never return.

After going to KFC I thought I should highlight some of the main issues when I went. First of all there was only one girl on the counter/service station and there were at least more than 10 people waiting to be served. The time was around 4:45 on a friday and it's likely its going to be busy at that time- the business was not a problem, but the fact there was only one girl serving a crowd of people who were ordering for more than one person, was quite shocking. Second of all I ordered my food, being given my food was a quick process so I had no problem with that. I had ordered the fillet wrap meal with a diet pepsi for myself, a diet pepsi for my mum and a regular popcorn chicken meal with Tango. I had also ordered ONE corn on the cob and a small tub of gravy with it. I seem to remember the price came to about 12 or 13 pounds. Trying to find a clean table to sit at was a task, the tables were either covered in food crumbs or there was still food on there waiting to be cleaned up by the disinterested cleaners. First of all, the drinks were just over half way full, with no ice. I had let that slide as I wasn't too thirsty and I didn't really have time to complain about it because we had to hurry as we had plans for later. I had received two corn on the cobs, which means I'd been charged for something I didn't ask for so I took that back to the counter. My meal (fillet wrap) tasted rather bland, it was dry at the top and in the middle there was a big clump of sauce which wasn't too nice to eat, also there were far to many tomatoes- this wasn't too bad though because I could easily pick them out- but I was officially put off eating the whole thing when the chicken looked quite pink. I asked my mum as she is very good with cooking, she said it should be okay, but I didn't finish eating it as it had put me off. Whether that was raw or not, it should be perfectly cooked through and through, they want me to eat the food they give me not be put off by some pink chicken. The chips, as per usual, were cold in seconds, hard and rather greasy. The corn on the cob was fine, well done KFC you got something right. My son's popcorn chicken was quite hard and I was surprised as usually it is quite nice. After we'd finished our not so great meal, we decided to get some cookies- I asked the girl at the counter the same one who had been serving everyone by herself a couple minutes ago, she rudely replied "got none." as if I was supposed to know. I said okay and sat back down. So unsatisfied with my meal and service, we decided to go. Binning our meal was a task in itself as the bins inside were practically overflowing. It frustrated me the fact that going up to the counter, you could see all the staff behind just standing around waiting for something to do as though there isn't rubbish everywhere, or a dozen people waiting to be served OR chips going cold. It's almost as though they don't have a manager there because it seems like someones just put a gormless bunch of teens in the restaurant and told them, just feed some hungry people. It's like they're all programmed to do one thing only and don't have the common sense to think when someone needs help on the counter to help them, or clean up when somewhere needs cleaning. It's stupid. I should of reported it back to them there and then, but as I said I was in a rush and had to hurry. Well lets just say I wont be going there again after this visit, next time I will trust my instincts and go to maccies.

Arrived at quarter to 9 in evening Building devoid of customers. We through drive through where a young female took our order, cutting us off several times.....conversation was pretty much:Her: what food do you want?Us: mighty bu......Her: drink?Us: cokeHer: is that it?Us: a boneless boxHer: drinkUs: fantaHer: 14pounds oddCard machine was thrust at us and pretty much snatched back before serving window was slammed shut.Next window, hoping for a better experience.....had food thrust through window and dropped on drivers lap, drinks followed in similar suit before window again being slammed. Will likely not return in a hurry

The restaurant has had a makeover, which looks far better than when I previously visited. I ordered a 12 piece boneless deluxe bucket. There was nothing deluxe about it. The chicken was tasteless and very small pieces. The chips were lukewarm and not very appetising. The staff however was very efficient and polite.

Think this place need to be shut down or relocate and a complete change of staff I'm sick of getting home and it's the wrong order something missing and the staff well that's another set back to this place it's a 5 mile trip to this site 10 mile in total after phoning to complain missing food 3 hrs of trying to get someone to pice the phone up is like winning the lottery avoid and go to mc D's or Burger King or subway

The food in here is really going dowhill... Twice I have been to take away and the chicken burgers have been cold and hard.. If I was eating in-store then I would have complained.. But not much you can do once you have taken it home

Ordered a variety bucket which should have included 10 pieces of original recipe chicken, but when I got home there was nothing but drumsticks and wings. No thighs, no breast, no ribs. It is as if they deliberately put in the smallest of the smallest cuts! I made a complaint and got told they were sorry but hoped I would be happier next time. So as well as the rats in the fryer and the faeces in the ice, customers now have to worry about getting fair portions!

Not a regular at KFC, sample it about once a year so no great number of comparative visits, but went here yesterday, and was astounded at how filthy dirty the employee who took the order at the drive through window was. The (company) shirt she was wearing sported every dripped/splashed/spilled array of foodstuffs, from ketchup to batter to grease to, well just about anyone's guess what else. None of these appeared to be 'fresh spills', and she also looked personally filthy. No expectations of Michelin starred service, obviously, but her communication skills were just above a grunt. Seriously, for a big food outlet? Sort it out!
