KFC in Liverpool

I can't give less than one star and post a review. The apparently bad review is because the place is boarded up! The KFC website was still showing it as open, as was Google, but it certainly wasn't.

Closed due to recent fire - store gutted and needs rebuilding. It will be some considerable time before the store is reopened, and windows and doors still boarded up waiting for insurance/investigation to be concluded. Hopefully the store will eventually reopen as there is a needed for a KFC in this part of the city.

Always something missing from order, check it before you leave, always busy, this was the worst KFC I've ever been in, went in there once and it'd run out of chicken, when what you are selling is in the name of your business the least you can do is stock the item, also their gravy was sometimes like p*ss and other occasions it was like jelly, seems to have closed down now , which is a vast improvement

Food always terrible always a queue staff not very helpful

I have a child with autism so I am unable to enter the building as she does not get out of the vehicle. The assistant with blue tinted hair (so sorry I didn't get your name!) has been unbelievably supportive when for technical reasons the drive-thru has been closed. She has gone out of her way on a number of occasions to help me and support my daughter in getting her beloved hot-wings! Can't tell you how much this means to a parent of a child with special needs, the lady immediately understood my dilemma and has made it possible for my little girl to get her lunch. Please pass on this feedback, she is a credit to your company. I now avoid all other branches and only use Edge Lane. Well done!!!

Ordered online KFC web site. Arrived in time however order was missing several items. Finally resolved by refund after going round in circles trying to get in touch with right department. Won't be going back. Sorry grandkids.

NEVER AGAIN! Twice I ordered a meal and cookies for my son, Twice the order was wrong! Took 3 days to sort money back and got one payment back so give up!

absolutely disgusting place the only thing nice about the place was the food all the tables where dirty floor covered in mud me and my grandad had to clean our table ourselfs it was absolutely minging never coming here again

When I ordered my food I found hair in my chicken wing and I was so disappointed when I told them about it they took it and replaced it with another one there was no respect when I told them I want some compensation for what happened one of the staff started shouting. I'm very sorry to say it was a horrible experience. We had a long journey ahead of us, from Liverpool to Oxford .We were looking forward to some food before the journey. We walked in and ordered our food. But if we had looked around first,we would not have ordered anything. It was filthy. Nearly all the tables had left over food and empty containers on them. We got a table and had to clean it ourselves. All the bins were overflowing. And I mean over flowing. Full trays all round them and food and containers on the floor. Food wasn't great. Chips tasted like they were overdone. Toilets were filthy.Overall, sorry to say it was the worst KFC I was ever in.

Very nice staff were pleasant and friendly food was really good that day plenty of parking.

It is a horrible place I’ve been waiting about 3 hours for my delivery to come and hey have been saying on the app that it’s going to restaurant I got a refund but I expect more from kfc just don’t mess up and make that delay again.

Awful. On a lovely tour of the fine city of Liverpool when my business partners and I were tied up by a terrible hunger. We were utterly devastated to find out the fine chicken based establishement had remarkably depleted it's chicken stores. No sure if they had any other meat available like racoon but we weren't going to be tied down to one eatery. Thankfully we found another place to eat just downs the road. Will not be retourning.

The service was quick and easy and the workers were also very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and decent. Overall it was a good experience. 🙂🙂🙂

Brilliant service and very clean

Fast clean same food quality. Small relatively clean sitting area.

Food is standard for KFC but the staff really don't like people, they sighed when people came in, like it was an inconvenience for customers to come in. I watched a woman get her order, something was wrong with it, she kept trying to get someones attention but they purposely kept their heads down and avoided making eye contact so she gave up and walked away.

My 4 year old grandson loves KFC. We had been out all day, and we were passing. He asked if he could go to KFC and not MCD over the road. My husband, myself, and my grandson really enjoyed our meal, and as it was quite at that time of day, he was able to run around until we left. KFC 🍗 amazing as always 😋

Was stood at till for 10 minutes before being served despite i was the only customer at the till i got 4 piece chicken meal the chicken was over cooked very dry i got a large meal i got about 10 chips the othier two meals was fine zinger burger box meal and 4 piece chicken strip meal. Food is generally correct, a little hit and miss for quality, typical kfc really but the service is the slowest of any place ive known, consistently slow. 10 min wait when the only car at drivethrough and ordering 1 standard item

Sorry but it wasn't the best KFC I've had. They were very busy, and my rice box chicken was cold, dry and had been sat for a while. The bean sauce consisted of one Little bean in the corner of the box. It was too busy to say anything, as I was in a hurry.

Absolutely shocking customer support. Have an order with them over an hour late and blatantly ignoring all attempts of contact. If my food even does turn up I know now it'll be stone cold. Pretty bummed out by this :/

I do not like fast food in generally, when we visit which we have short time for dinner they served uncooked chicken...

Did try the drive through but virtually no movement or service being offered. As is the case now the place is clogged with just eat type delivery drivers collecting huge orders. If you go out to eat you do not expect to be queued behind this type of business. It seems that the delivery business model is now more important to companies such as KFC and it feels pointless bothering to turn up to be served. I left empty handed.

Some of them uncooked chicken, it wasn't nice to see with high price!

Ordered a family feast 10pc, got home with all breast,,,, not one single drumstick.

I got today family feast meal, it was so horrible, chicken 10 peaces was only legs, so much soaked in oil, that when took bucket out of bag, bottom of bucket just fell off, fry was so oily, so soft, so terrible, I never didn't have so bad experience in KFC, like today in Edge Lane KFC. Just putting you off to go there again.🤮👎👎👎

Ordered a boneless banquet meal and bottle of 7up, the drink wasn’t with the order, I explained it to the delivery driver and his response was phone them, half hour later and still no answer!

I've been twice, the first time I ordered 3 pieces of chicken as takeaway, only after leaving I noticed it was 3 chicken legs!. Again today I orderd 3 pieces of chicken and again 3 chicken legs. I asked the staff member if I could have a variety of chicken pieces, she obliged but initially informed "you get what's available " . If I wanted chicken legs I'd go to Tesco and buy a pack.

Tried to use the KFC app for offers. We were getting a family bucket only to be told that they weren't accepting the offer app as it "crashed the tills" . Well it never crashed the tills at the garston branch last week!! Have you ever heard the like. Fuming isn't the word.

Gave away our order to a just eat driver. Then had to wait 15 mins for another order, with different drinks, as they had sold out. Not going back. Rather eat a scabby pigeon.

Giving 1star was being generous. Visited you store yesterday . Stood for 25minutes at till just wanting to order a coffee. Left in the end. The staff were busy .but could see I was standing there made no contact with me at all . Will not be returning

Card machine wasn’t working in drive through, so the sign said pay inside. Doors were locked and weren’t allowed in. 5minutes waiting outside we were told we wouldn’t be allowed in to pay inside. Went to nearest cash machine that charges for withdrawals. Went back, sat at the window until anyone noticed to take our order, to then find out they were out of pretty much everything whilst the staff were eating and drinking the rest of their food :)

Took the grandchildren they enjoy it. I would have like a coffee but machine was broken the same as last time went never mind

Don't forget your 10% discount if you have a Blue Light Card. You'll need to order at the counter though if want to use it. This drive thru fast food restaurant gets very busy at popular times. Lots of delivery drivers.

Filthy toilets that scared the kids out. Selective service by staff ignore the queue process. Dodgy attendants acting busy to avoid picking up tasks. Crowded environment not safe for kids. Not sign of supervisor or manager to ensure smooth service.

Ordered £30 worth of food to be delivered 1 meal and then to be told they won't refunded it so phoned up to an prep recorded message basically telling you your not getting a refund for meals message absolute joke!!!!!

ordered a meal with a friend off just eat. After getting ready to eat found that a meal was missing. rang up to find what what happened. was given a code and asked to go into KFC to collect it. upon arrival the woman at the till asked have I got a problem which came off as more hostile even if it wasn't ment to be. explained that my meal wasn't included in the delivery showing her the recipt and the code I was given written on the back. was given the explanation of we have none of that meal in at the minute so I will need to go on just eat and get a refund. I waited to see if there was anything she may of offered since i had to go in and waste my time to come out with nothing. only to find that she was pretty much done. so I pretty much left. Will not be going back to edge lane KFC from this point on, other family members have had issues with the particular KFC. would give a lower score if possible even a minus star if that ever became an option.

The assistant was told by aleysha to not take any more orders, which is fine if you are busy, but I was left standing as if invisible, nobody bothered to say hello, we won't keep you long. When my food came, aleysha called my number, never once smiled, I find this rude behavior in a service industry position

It's what you expect from a KFC but usually a queue and takes a lot longer than you expect fast food
