Chicken Bazooka in Liverpool

I ordered a chicken burger meal, but the burger was raw. When I informed the staff, they offered me chicken strips, which I didn’t want after seeing the raw meat. I requested a swap for a small pizza, which is cheaper, but my request was denied. I left the restaurant and will be reporting this to the authorities, as I have video and pictures as evidence

I was on a short visit to Liverpool and decided to try Chicken Bazooka, and I was really impressed by their customer service. Even though I was new to the area, the staff made me feel welcome right away. They were incredibly friendly, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring my order was spot on. Despite being busy, they took the time to provide excellent service, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. No positives about this place. Avoid! Some chicken was undercooked, some was slimy, and I feared getting food poisoning from it, had to spit it out. To make things even worse, the prices are ridiculous. Avoid—there’s a McDonald’s and KFC just 1 minute away

the chicken is wet and soggy, they managed to make the chips decent though - dont get it

There are a couple of things which need to be changed. Chicken wings are very salty. Pizza is tasteless: as if you are eating just dough with cheese. Place should be cleaned thoroughly and facilities needs to be replaced by new ones. Place is in need of changes. The only reason this business is running I think, its location and name. But I regret honestly coming here.

Have had literally the best drunk/hungover food here, I couldn't tell you the amount of times i've begged for a singular spicy chicken wing with my food- only received once (which is insane because they only gave me it since there so kind and generous here). the people are so funny and silly, we always come here not only because of the food but because of the workers and the atmosphere they bring. love bazooka. EDIT: the spicy wings are amazing, they taste so spicy and beautiful

The chicken was cold and soggy and over spiced, in other words it was a little bit rubbish, I say this because I'm not allowed to use "profanities". Don't waste your money this place isn't worth it

It's okay, not highly recommended however. Had a chicken n ribs combo meal, ribs were a bit strange, and very chewy. Chicken was okay, you could tell it was sat for a while however, quite dry. Big portion for the money.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, the chicken in this place is great! It's consistent and reasonably priced. The family buckets are fantastic value. We travel into town just to go here as the fried chicken shops everywhere else are poor. Even nabzys has gone downhill. This place always delivers, the owner is really friendly and always cracks a little joke for free! Great service 😁👌

Yes, After a few mega pints landed back for some lovely chicken, twice. Ask for Curry sauce and the had none. I was disappointed until I got the spicy gravey. Magic.

ham and pineapple pizza was okay however nothing too spectacular for £10.80 the sauce left a strange aftertaste in the mouth with the cheese resembling plastecene. the cheesy garlic bread was mediocre however we both found that it wasn’t worth the energy of chewing as there was virtually no taste, which is quite impressive to make the bread, cheese and garlic butter not touch one tastebud.

Absolutely disgusting food. The donner was really thick and had a stench coming from it as if it was either out of date or warmed up in a microwave. The burgers were dry and chips were soggy. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away people unless u enjoy eating disgusting food 🤢

Great food, great service. Dom, the guy who took care of my order was very helpful and always with a smile. I come for food here most times and it is always amazing . The children are well cooked and tender. I will recommend this place to everyone. Great indoor sitting too.

The best chicken and wings by far, the attention was excellent and friendly, the atmosphere was empty but it was time, we arrived at 2:30 pm with my friends and everyone was delighted, thank you very much it was a jewel in our visit to Liverpool

Best advice is never go there. Worst service, staff don't know how to treat customers. Charging same price even if we asked to take an item from the list, without adjusting anything.

I mostly walk-in and order and it goes well, they try to serve you on time and they have a good customer service but sometimes I order online and whenever I do there’s always something wrong or missing. Like why can’t you guys get an order correctly for once. Today I order and instead of PepsiMax, I got Dr Pepper🤮 and if there’s any drink I hate is that. I ended up eating my chips and chicken with water because I couldn’t go outside to get a drink it was raining outside that was the whole point I ordered in the first place.

They had runout of chicken on a Friday night. First time I never got decent food. Got dry salty wings as they had no fried chicken. Normally great

Great suppportive staff! Me and my friends were getting stalked home and Chicken Bazooka was our place of refugee. An altercation took place and the staff were lovely and helped save us.

So we got back to our hotel room I was eating my Donor kebab when I bit into something hard I had a full sauce lid in my food normally I would accept this as an accident but the staff member I was served by was rude to us the whole time we were In there

Just got a takeaway from there. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Small bucket bazooka (40) £11.90. Plenty for 2 of us. Wings were a bit spicy but good.

We stayed at the hotel across the road … so ran around to get our order … very rude staff that were not interested at all in what we actually wanted to order.. vile staff !! Wow if i could give a worse rating I would. Imagine ordering and paying for potato wedges and then waiting 20mins plus to Asked where your order is. To be told by the horrible man that you never order or paid…. Shocking why would I stand there for that long the idiot.

I was left to wait after everyone that came in the shop because they were either deliveroo deliveries or pick ups.....after everyone left I was given my food... Minus half of what I asked because there were no chicken pieces left..as they went to the deliveries, because you can be rated there. Fries are bland chicken is dry. Worst experience from a takeaway in my life. There is a bald guy who think he is God. He asked for the choice of drink I asked for miranda and in a fraction of second I changed to pepsi saying "feel like drinking pepsi today" He came closer to me and asked what does that mean to me if you like pepsi, I said "nothing" Then he said shut up and get out. Never visit this place if you have dignity ( only the bald guy)

I'm not joking when I say one of the worst chicken burgers in my life. Service was very weird, they didn't say a word. Bald guy stood silently while he painted the burger in mayo and overcharged us a few pounds. Food was cold and not fresh and the chips tasted like we were eating polystyrene.

Little silly baldy man with an attitude must have Little man syndrome as he was scrawny and scruffy, didn't take much notice of this wally as don't really talk to this type of person. Save your money, save your energy! So rude service (bald guy) I never come across something like that. Disrespectful, didn't wanted to take my order and talk down to me. Throw my food on the counter as well... If I wasn't 9 months pregnant and hungry I would of left right there. Should of gone to kebab next door. FIX UP YOUR ATTITUDE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! Without doubt the 2nd worst place I've ever purchased food from. Once ate in a kebab shop in Leeds, but that was before the days of reviews. The place is filthy, owner rude, service terrible, pizzas were burnt when they came out of the over, Deliveroo delivery guy came in with an order when we were there and as it was busy with customers he told the delivery guy to get out and come back later. Hillarious. Everything is a bother for the owner, who mutters the odd word and is pig ignorant. Food dreadful but when you're starving after a match or a few beers you'll eat anything. We laughed that if we had Covid the food would probably work as a vaccine for Covid. All in all, food terrible, owner rude, place is filthy, slow service. Would only recommend for the experience of saying you experienced it!

ZERO stars , We've entered inside the shop , the bald guy didn't not even acknowledged us. There were zero customers so he wasn't even busy . We were ready to order and he was just staring at us and then I said can I order ? And he just kept starting. We've ordered a pizza and double cheese burger. He put the food on the counter and didn't say a word then went at the back of the kitchen without acknowledging anybody. We took the food and We've asked for 2 garlic sauce for the pizza as in this shop you need to pay for it. And we had to pay 40p per sauce. We wanted to eat in but the place is so filthy and there was no customers so they weren't even busy. Disgusting service and place

Ordered on uber eats, quick warning, really don't bother, this has to be some of the worst takeaway in the world, not just Liverpool. This crosses the boundary of bad takeaway food well into absolutely awful and inedible territory, definitely not worth it.

I walked into Chicken Bazooka hoping to get a burger before catching my train at Lime Street train station. When I entered there was only one other customer who was eating inside. I stood at the counter and after a few minutes a young man wearing glasses came out from behind the back holding a bin bag and put it in the food service lift. He then walked past me towards the freezer, slipping on something on the floor, took something out of the freezer and then walked past me again. I thought it was strange that there were no other people there and yet he completely blanked me. I waited for another few minutes until I was standing there for about five minutes in total. He came out of the back area for a third time walking past me for a second time without recognising that I was even standing there. I decided that I would just leave and go to McDonald's where I got a double 1/4 pounder and cheese for just under£5. I didn't really want to go to McDonald's but at least when I went there i got served. Before writing this review I was expecting to see a chicken shop with 5 stars across the board. Anyone who can turn away customers and send them to McDonald's must have an unbelievably successful business model. However, there are a lot of poor reviews. Perhaps it was best that the young man didn't serve me in the end.

The food was good but the service was very bad

Me and my boyfriend went in to grab something to eat, we ordered a chicken kebab and a Donner kebab. The Chicken kebab was undercooked and a really small portion even though I asked for a large. The Donner kebab looked like it had been frozen Donner which was just thrown into a microwave, it was burnt round the edges, I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. The service we received was so rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone, I wouldn’t even call it a restaurant.

Genuinley really good if you go into the shop to get it. Cheap, tasty and convinient but, I wouldn't recommend ordering for delivery. Somethings usually missing or it's cold and soggy and I only live 0.7 miles away from the place.

We ordered 4 pizzas 2 were burnt black underneath 2 were undercooked. Chips were cold and very soggy. I would avoid this place at all costs.
