turned up at 21:45 and they closed the store when it says that they close at 22:00. Quite disappointing.

Slow service. Unhappy staff badly presented food. Won't visit this KFC again

I went into there the drive inn , I had a zinger chicken burger meal Chips in and tango orange drink, They give me food poisoning, 4 days of vomiting and diarrhea. I'm disabled brain injury epilepsy This caused me to have sezuires. I couldn't keep my meds inside me Because non stop vomiting and diarrhea for 4/5 almost , in the end I went to a+e hospital at reading hospital, on a drip now so extremely upset, the service from the staff was disgusting. I witnessed the manager servicing customers and handling money , then straight back doing orders touching food shocking behaviour, aviod this place or you will be ill like myself,

Delivery time changed 15/20 mins later after ordering and asked for specific chicken pieces on note but didn’t get them, chips were nearly cold by the time I received the order too.

We had to wait a very long time for our food, even though the place wasn't busy at all. When the food finally arrived, the rice portion was missing kidney beans. There was no hot water in the toilet facilities.

It's a Friday night and I'm hoping to enjoy a meal out. However I'm not sure what's going on in this KFC but it's not good. Staff being disciplined in front of customers, not in English. The atmosphere was tense. The staff behind the counter were not focused on taking orders. Instead, they were raising their voices at each other and several customers were staring at the commotion. Apart from that why is it so cold in the restaurant. I'm not comfortable eating my meal when me and others sat here shivering.

I specifically ordered rib meat but was given 2 legs instead. these were what I really didn't want! not good

Delicious food, staff is so Coperative,we ate a crispy, delicious zinger or other food in a clean restaurant. I never forgot the cleaning of this restaurant so stunning, lighting everything.

Placed order @ 17h00. Estimated 30-40 mins arrived @ 18h30. Chips were ice cold & chicken barely warm. Driver was very courteous- no issues there. Don’t think they’ll be ordering from KFC again in a hurry.

This must be the worst kfc I have ever eaten. Spent £31 on a 10 piece bargain bucket and a tower meal. Chicken was so dry and the chips had to be thrown away

My workmate got served, and then the server walked off, leaving me standing there until I spoke up a few minutes later. My workmate was given the wrong order, it was changed for another wrong order. He gave up and got a refund. I eventually got served and had to wait ages. Are the portion sizes shrinking? Kentucky fried budgie....Chips were warm and soggy, asked for NO ice, got served ice.... No one working seemed to speak or understand English to a basic level. A complete disappointment. Went elsewhere as I was hungry after the 'starter' I had here. won't be going to KFC again, end of.....

the food was ordered at 17:50 arrived at 18:37, which is fine but the food was freezing had to put them in the microwave which is not acceptable to be honest and the side pot of gravey was cold and the beans was solid together like it had just been defrosted... i appreciate a full refund is not going to happen but i ak a regular use of just eat so i expect better here to be honest...a third of the bill being returned woud be acceptable here.

Placed my order early and asked for delivery at 11:10am so it should arrive just before I start my lunch break at work. Driver turned up 15 minutes late, didn’t pay any attention to the notes that I put on for him to find me at work. Food was also cold when I got it and because it was late i had to eat it quickly so that I could eat it while on my lunch break as don’t get long for lunch.

Pathetic service always give wrong orders when we go through drive through for collection…Orders wraps from drive through but this 4th time I am receiving wrong order. It is very frustrating when we come home and check the order. Always issue of giving wrong orders. And when we call and complain manager argues on the call and went back to return the wrong still they were arguing we us . Very very disappointing

We had a big party order and the staff were great at handling it. Friendly and efficient. Unlike other kfc I've visited, this one didn't miss any of our order off so that a massively plus for us.

The driver was lovely and polite and friendly and helpful very nice and kind and caring very happy with the service

Went through drive thru, ordered meals to then come home and there was 2 kids burgers instead of 2 kids popcorn chicken meals... so had to drive back.. to get the correct meals AND a refund to compensate for having to drive back, correct their mistake and also come home to eat my food that is now cold. The manager was completely not apologetic nor understanding, got told by the woman that I hadn't been clear with my order even though she understood when I ordered as to what I said. Staff training by both team members and managers I'd a definite must. - complaint handling, reading orders back, politeness etc etc. Would get treated better in a pub establishment than a fast food restaurant. I got the correct meals but no refund - poorly dealt with. I suggest when people order here, speak slow and clearly, do their jobs I guess and read the order back and again do their jobs and triple check bag. See You Next Tuesday

Status changed to delivered but has still not arrived 2 hours after ordering

Most of the order was cold or not hot. Even the gravy was lukewarm. Disappointed...

Such nice and friendly staff and really speedy service.

The chicken wasn't fried recently. Can tell its been sitting there for a while. The fries was missing that seasoning that I'm used to from other stores.

The food took 1 hour and 12 mins to be delivered and when it did arrive the food was stone cold absolutely awful

All good here the chicken was cooked to perfection. I have been to other KFC's where it wasn't quite right.

time keep changing ordered at 8pm and had to go to collect food yourself at 9.50pm.

Dine in at 6:30pm on a Thursday. Ordered a 4-pc Colonel's Meal and got 3 drumsticks and a thigh. Asked to exchange a drumstick for another thigh and was told "sorry we run out of chicken", at this time of the day? Seriously?

The food I received wasn’t up to the usual standard. I tried exchanging the chicken piece but the quality remained the same. The outer layer wasn’t crispy, and the inside felt watery. The chips were soggy, and the chicken wings and filet were just okay. Won’t be coming to this kfc outlet

Delivery driver went the completely wrong way, then just left the food at the bottom of the flat outside without ringing the bell and food just said delivered. Food was missing items. And the food was freezing cold. Not happy and never ordering from here again. Delivery driver was so rude and inconsiderate.

The staff at counter and kitchen were either talking or arguing soooo loudly and annoyingly among their colleagues right from the moment I sat till I left in 5 hours. The look like an indian man and lady were sort of quarrelling. They were not paying attention to customers. What a dissapointment, dear Management please look into the matter as it may tarnish the image of KFC

Complete incompetent staff who never get my order right to busy waffling to each other, just ordered a boneless banquet, get home I've a manky wrap full of mayo, one mini fillet, chips for 8.99 Complete rip off, won't be back again and warn others to give it a wide birth.... not happy...you have people working in their that don't speak or read English that's properly why your staff are getting orders wrong.

Food is good , place is clean and the staff is very friendly , Kevin the guy from the till is always kind and hard working , i feel welcome .

The toilets were closed and every time the staff used the door to get to the kitchen it was left ajar and the smell was terrible. There was also no air conditioning for a very hot evening in a restaurant made of glass made it very difficult to find a table in the shade.

We came to the drive through last night to order a 6 hot wings meal , with gravy on the side and 2 separate wings. The man serving us gave us our food and it was the wrong order, when we told him this is not what we ordered he decided to argue with us and then started to close the window in our face instead of helping us and giving us what we ordered. We asked for the manager and he said the manager was not there, so we spoke to his other colleague who simply gave us the right order in the end but charged us extra for it. The original man serving was disgraceful and absolutely rude. We would like to speak to the manager on this as I do remember the man's face and he wouldn't give us his name. We would like the manager to reply to this comment so that we can come back to discuss this matter as it was the worst and most rude customer service I could imagine and he charged us extra for his own mistake.

Incompetent people taking orders, they acknolwedge the order at the drive thru, I pay, they are missing all the chicken pieces and then tell me it is ok we didnt charge you for them, and this is a 1st world country employing useless staff, and do you think they even have the brains to say, oh, we messed up, let's fix it, no, rather give me a year 2 level type school boy stare

Hi,I visit yesterday to Kfc Reading Retail Gate Reading,the environment of kfc was excellent,their guest area was clean,Chicken was very delicious, their employees were very politely to me,Specially I think his name is Keshav Panesar,he did his best to take order then pack then serve,I liked his dedication to work.Next time I like to visit to Kfc Reading.

Wrong and arrogant attitude of staff- I ordered original chicken, they gave me two breast pieces and when I requested to replace with leg piece the lady stuff turned her back and told we don’t have leg and walked away. Two minutes after I saw her serving leg pieces to another customer, when I enquired, she said the leg pieces were just getting cooked. Then why couldn’t she answer “if you need leg pieces please wait for 2 minutes they are getting cooked” instead of walking away and telling they don’t have leg pieces?

Fantastic service from Keshav Panesar hope I spelled that correctly if I didn’t I apologise. Flawless service from start to finish - don’t often leave good review but his service certainly deserved one. Keep up the good work I’m sure there will be a promotion in it for your hard efforts.

Did not receive order although said was delivered have a ring doorbell to prove my claim I will no longer be using Just Eat as this has happened before….

Slow service. Kitchen staff bagging food without gloves. Chips were a mixture of fresh and maybe a few hours old, possibly from the overflow tray scooped back to complete portions. Appalling.

Not all KFCs are equal, some are average some are not then some are spot on. The KFC at Reading Gate Retail Park was spot on. Perfect crispiness, polite and efficient service. Top shelf KFC.
