Dirty, poorly prepared food and barely a smile between all the staff.

Really lovely lady called Tracey, I was really struggling to understand using kiosks and she made me feel very comfortable. Kept smiling even when all the other staff seemed unhappy. Defiantly coming back for some lovely fried chicken.

This Place is absolutely ridiculous. My mother was ordering food for me and my family. Some how one of the KFC workers forgot to give me my drink and chips . No one should get take out food in the kfc . They shouldn’t forget about my drink and chips . Next time they should never forget about my chips and drink . NEVER GO TO THIS KFC IN READING

The only halal KFC in the ends. I give it 5 Star just for that. Certain man say all the KFCs in the UK are halal because the chicken comes from the same place but them man dont even pray. Anyway, big up Tracey, she's soo friendly and is always in a good mood.

I was enjoying lunch with my husband. Meanwhile someone was watching my bags and other customer’s belongings. Luckily a friendly colleague of KFC diner, her name Tracey, was able to point it out before me and my husband could. So grateful! Great sincere and kind service.

I really enjoy hot and tasty food of KFC broad Street.

As a tourist to the area it was quick and easy to order, food delivered on time and still hot.

This restaurant cleanliness is being maintained and staff are friendly and welcoming

They have started a new system when it comes to ordering which is more of a hassle and a hindrance than helping the customers apparently it’s a new word working that they started yesterday no customers like it including myself. It’s probably the worst system I’ve come across.

Staff lazy and do not care about customers or orders . Litter left on tables for long periods without staff cleaning . Restaurant dirty most of the time due to this . Food either under cooked or over cooked . Not worth time or money

The food was under cooked and poorly packed. Also 2 items were missing. To add this has now happened 3 times in a row.

Good to see there’s finally a WHITE reception in the fast food restaurants. You could call me a racist but you would probably change your mind if you were ever being served by rude Indian receptionists. Tracy is polite and lovely! She has great customer service skills and you could easily tell by the numbers of customers in the shop on Monday afternoon ! To all UK business owners, make sure you hire a quality staff rather than quantity. They are the asset in a long run!

Guys totally ignored my food ordered from the kiosk, and eventually gave me the wrong food.

I recently visited KFC, my experience was very bad, a lady named( "kiran")told me you wait for 5 minutes then I will take your order, wait for me for 20 minutes, When I told her, she talking rudely I will never go back. She don't know how to deal with customer

I ordered today afternoon kfc bucket with 10 pieces original chicken, the food quality is not good, bad taste. Seems like not the fresh food. It’s not looks like kfc chicken. As soon as I placed my order I got the plate with in a minute. I got shocked 🤯 I had ordered for takeout so didn’t check at the time . When i checked the food in home, food was really horrible. I want a refund for that . Please refund me asap.

I had a 45 minute lunch break and my food took 30 minutes to arrive only after attempting to ask for a refund. It was under staffed and I needed to return to my own work. My food went cold and wasn’t able to eat. Didn’t get a paper receipt either and had to show on my phone my order number as they removed it from the collections board when I’d not even got it yet,

Place was filthy, tables littered, floor littered with bones, No popcorn chicken on menu, no chicken bites, no mayonnaise, the man just threw tomato sauce in my bag after saying no mayo. poor customer service

Floor and tables all disgusting staff are rude and inefficient, forgotten items if our order and when questioned they just shoved them at us with no apology

I like this place. It is about 20 minutes from my work so if it could move to the other end of Broad Street I'd give it more points ... oh why does the door open the wrong way?

Revised June 2023 Despite months of bad reviews this branch remains the filthiest fast food place I've ever seen, squalid and giving poor value for money. The staff are clearly struggling with their failing franchise owner. This branch shows the downside of the KFC franchise. The other local branches do not have these problems....Yet.

It's some time ago already. They managed to fry the thighs and wings so dry and salty, and chips are cold, rubbery and unsalted. I don't kown why it's still in business. Never go again.

I put a note so that a receipt and 3 straws should be included with this order but none of those where included, Im not very happy with this. Why should you have a note section if none of the requests are fulfilled?

Everything tastes normal and average, Service is fine but they have messed up my order multiple times. I ordered combo meals which had 6 wings with it, ended up with only 2 wings. It was a take-away, I only realised this when I got home and wasnt bothered to go back there asking for my wings.

The Taste isn't the same as Before, nothing Special now, Better off buy the Generic fried chicken.

Had a bad experience at this KFC in 2022 so had stopped eating here. Decided to give a try last Sunday 3rd March 2024 and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was well seasoned and fries crispy,the hot wings will definitely have me coming back. The eating area needs to be cleaned a bit more frequently as its a high traffick area.

The gravy is really runny it’s not thick, it’s got no taste to it

None of the drinks I ordered arrived

Fries were undercooked, explains why mashed potato was also sent. (It's waste as both not eaten) I would rather the meal be delivered later or a call for prefrence. Other establishments don't rush sending out, driver waits at takeaway/restaurant.

Worst services, waiting for 30 minutes more, only ordered a few chicken wings. Bad attitude, bad service, bad food.

Driver never had the two cans of tango for the meal and bag was sealed so KFC branch never sent them out in the order. Not even a substitute offered if they didn't have stock.

Bit of a dive. Staring staff bit spooky, but guess that to do with culture. Chicken strips soggy, not even hot. Tempted to take it all bk. Food below KFC normal standard.

Fantastic food & service, really great. Chip portion is getting smaller, every time I go - whats the reason behind this I wonder? Toilets need a serious clean, Its quite apparent they haven't been done in a long time. The amount of druggies and drunk people who occupy the upstairs on my route to said toilet, is quite distressing. I do feel this needs addressing, hence my rating of 4 stars.

The staff is okay and the food as well. As its the only halal kfc in Reading keep your expectations low and it'll be alright ;)

Had to beg a member of staff to let me go upstairs to use the toilet....

Cannot go wrong with a KFC but I cannot really judge its food since it largely shifts from time to time depending who's on the job and who isn't. The staff is really helpful though and as a bystander, saw a lady get her chicken replaced because there was something wrong with it. However, the place does need a proper clean down because of how often people leave their food on the table and don't clean up after themselves.

Order never came. Delivery guy seems to have arrived at my building but left the order somewhere unknown (or with another apartment) and left. Not sure how hard is it to read a flst number and find the right one! Obviously no way to contact any real person straight away and they respond to refunds in 7 days !!! What a joke

KFC, either you try it in UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, UK or anyplace else always feels like it's chicken soaked in excessive frying oil and grease. Nevertheless it has its unique taste and flavour

Rude staff.. We asked to get the pineapple stick swapped with fries in the kids meal and they straight away refused. We have went to several kfcs before and it has been always an option.

Your normal KFC , I would say fairly clean and food are okay, chicken filet are slightly under average, but they got a banging music playlist

Only time food and atmosphere is ever good is when Tracey is in. Tracy is amazing and makes sure everyone does there job. Quality of service and food always apparent when Tracey is not at work. The manager needs to fix up!!

Honestly, this place should be shut down. Hygiene is terrible, the place looks understaffed, bins overflowing and nobody seems in a hurry to clean. There aren’t even handwipes. Don’t risk it - go somewhere better.

When we went, we ordered using the tablet and the machine didn't print a receipt. Then, after we paid, our order didn't show up on the screen, meaning we had to wait for over half an hour (roughly), to get our order. The food itself was lovely. I just wish the tablets would work properly.

Most disgusting KFC ever no food hygiene what so every vist is disappointing last experience ordered chicken bucket every single chicken piece in the bucket was covered with lagre chicken feathers stuck to it and dripping down with oil. Complained to the manager he took the chicken piece infornt of me and pulled out feathers from ever piece with his hands and returned back the same chicken to me to eat :)

Driver went to other food places to collect. Took forever to arrive. This is the 2nd time it has happened shocking service
