Food/ drinks nothing special, abd queues were slow. Convenient place to meet friend for a drink outside city centre. BUT BEWARE, if you stay over 2 hours you are fined heftily for parking.

Rarely get what you actually order, think every time I’ve been I have had things missing, pretty sure they do it on purpose now. Spent £31 and only received £20 of it…

Well it's KFC. Good location as it was on our way.

Steep steps to the toilets which are badly in need of refurbishment. They are a disgrace. Shops look OK. We didn't buy food except a few things from Waitrose.

I love the test of kfc chucken from this place compared to the other one I have gone to in Oxfordshire.

Late evening travelling home, we stopped to eat. KFC was open and serving. Quickly, our tasty food was ready. It was served hot in a cardboard carton, easy to eat from. Good cold fizzy drink with some ice. Great food, and we'd certainly visit it nearby again. I even bought a loaf of good wholemeal bread from the Little Waitrose from a cheerful assistant.

The food is below standard. Full of fat and mine was not cooked through . Took back got fresh but no apology

Some of the worst KFC I've ever had. Of 4 pieces of original recipe chicken, 3 (3!!!) were legs, what a terrible ratio, so disappointing. The hot wings were the smallest, most dried up things I've ever seen, must have come from an ancient sparrow not a fresh chicken! The chicken tenders were also very dried out as if they'd been sitting there all day (I visited around 2:30 pm Saturday) and the fries were the usual KFC garbage but even more soft, bland and lacking in crispness than usual. Get in the bin.

Old and dated . The toilets and steps down to them need a refit .

This has the worst access to the toilets of any service area I know with them being down 2 flights of stairs. If there is a lift or alternative I didn't see it.

Not a normal KFC. Very small portion sizes compared to normal.

Awful. Dreary. Worst Waitrose I have ever been in. Almost no stock. Really depressing.

To be honest, the Kfc here was actually really good. Most services are hit and miss, but the food was fresh, and I really enjoyed it on our stop

Every time I come in here the place is a complete mess, bins are forever over flowing, food and wrappers on the floor. I’ve seen this place get busy but that’s no excuse for people to sit and eat in filth.

Went in the evening but I ordered on the app while outside and the meal was ready to pick up instantly. Clean and convenient if travelling

Don’t usually have fast food but was peckish and staying nearby at Travelodge. Good selection mostly chicken based. I tried the chicken wings, chips and a drink for £9. Food was hot though I prefer the spicier buffalo wings from Lidl. Fast service and ordered onscreen. No complaints except pricey for what I got.

One of the worst KFCs I've experienced. Soggy, warm (not hot) chicken, Expensive compared to other KFCs. Bland and slightly dirty eating space. Managed to 2 stars for service as it was quite quick, but otherwise hard to see how it could be worse. Very disappointed.

Absolutely shocking service at Oxford peartree services kfc. 2 men behind counter chatting to another guy customer side of the counter, when I was eventually acknowledged i asked if I could swap the pineapple stick for corn as my grandson does not like pineapple, I was bluntly told and I quote ' no you can't, pineapple is a desert you'll have to have fries ' I replied I already had fries, the guy then said "you'll have to have the pineapple then. Firstly not every child likes pineapple so maybe KFC you should offer choices . Every kfc I have been to have swapped the pineapple for corn with no issue. I instead bought the corn separately which In fairness was cheap enough, however I should not have needed to do so. The worst part though was the arrogance of the kfc staff

Typical service stations nothing outstanding nothing to bad. On a busy roundabout. Toilets down two flights of steps. Usual high prices, but does the job.

I felt a general feeling of being uncomfortable ordering and waiting for my order.it must be nice to have a second language that you can take the p,,,, in front of the customer when he has no idea what's being said. F u.

Dismal services, toilets are awful in the bowels of the place. Got here at 10pm on a Saturday , almost everything shut! No Costa, no Greggs, shame because they missed out big time, lots of Oxford fans in and around coming back from Wembley.

Got some orders wrong and staff didn’t listen to request of only thighs - bad service

Food was good. It was fresh you could taste it. The dining area was clean and tidy. Was lucky to go in when it wasn't busy.

Had an incomplete order that needed correcting, service slow even though we used the big tablets, no paper receipt/order, cola was preprepared so with ice was watery, bits of chicken have shrunk. Maybe an off day, I would think twice before going to this one again.

Very quick service, hot, overall experience let down by tables needing a proper wipe to clean between each customer.

Despite asking the staff politely to clean the tables , we were completely ignored. Hence, we had to clean ourselves.

Okay. I have to start the review off by saying I'm NOT a KFC fan so this review won't lack prejudice. Therefore I'm gonna stick to facts. It's a wheelchair accessible place with Blue badge parking (and normal) for 2 hours and is accessible with loos. See my review of the whole park for more details of this please and a video. Unhelpful staff. Food was a major let down.

This KFC is conveniently located in the pear tree service station. It’s our go-to kfc. Chickens cooked fresh and service is quick. They recently did a renovation of the dining area. Spacious and moved the kiosk machines away from the toilet. Highly recommend a kfc break if you need a stop at this service station

Waited about 12 minutes for quite bad service. I went just after Covid so over a year ago. They still don't do the Colonel's Club rewards, but you can order from the app...... Hmm, that sounds a bit dify. Not sure if I'll just stop to use the other services on the A34 or Banbury next time I'm after form finger locking good KFC. THE CHIPS WHERE LUKE warm but we all know this is a problem.

Please explain why I ordered 2 of the same meal and 1 turns up with chips and the other has just an empty bag ??? Don't bother ordering as it was also cold

Firstly ordered on machine. Order collected and drink was wrong but definitely clicked tango not coke. Then the corn was subbed with gravy. And chips are cold. Not good. Also no ice cream. Thanks kids crying now

Had a zinger burger meal and have to say it was spot on really enjoyed it and so did (the wife )

Food was to the usual KFC quality and tasted fresh. However this is the second time I have been in and struggled to find a clean table, with dirty floors and overflowing bins, it was also unpleasant that the toilets could be smelt from the ordering counter. I did not even go in when it was especially busy, so disappointed that they don't either have the staff or the pride/effort to keep it reasonable in there.

The staff were polite and welcoking, the chicken was amazing and the lobby was clean and had plenty of room.

Chicken was abit chewie, not really hot, had gravy which was £2.59 a large pot that had use by 9pm and we didn't get food until 9.15 pm. I wouldn't go back. Not the best.

Visited twice over a weekend. The twister wrap was a bit chewy the first time on Friday night but Sunday afternoon couldn't complain. It's about £1-2 more expensive per item than a high street KFC so be warned. Service bit slow on Friday evening as well despite a very basic order.

Dry food been on the side for god knows how long, miserable staff, so expensive compared to a KFC in major cities, would not use unless absolutely starved.

I only use this services because of the location. They are dirty and grotty. The KFC is very busy.

Check your burger before taking away. Mine had obviously been on the rack for a long time. Hard bun, brown shrivelled lettuce and cold. The guy did change it but with no apology.

Was very busy but also expected as it's on motorway, loads of coaches and families. Staff tried to move the flow of orders. Maybe a bit voca. They did their best in the conditions present.

Served by a very helpful and friendly man who came running after us when he realised part of our order was missing Thank you so much.

Found 3 feathers over 4 hot wings which had also been lying around for ages. The Zinger Burger had next to no sauce on it and the bread was very dry. When I asked if I could have no ice in my Pepsi Max, they gave me ice and wouldn't change it. Probably the worst KFC I've been to in the UK.

Small KFC on a small services outside Oxford. Only real food place apart from Starbucks for coffee & cake. Usual KFC fare.

Fast food joint that was surprisingly busy on a quiet Wednesday night delivered my meal very swiftly. So 'all good'.

I waited 25 minutos to be served three was only two guys attending at the counter and very slow no smile or even apologised for keeping me for so long absolutely nothing to recommend !. On top the box meal was totally wrong from what I’ve ordered!.

Literally the nicest vegan chicken burgers I've ever had. Same spices as normal Kfc, and vegan chicken that tastes better than normal chicken, roll mayo and salad in burger all good too, thoroughly recommend

KFC on a services - don't expect perfection but I do expect a friendlier service, as it happens it felt more like I was being interrogated by the gustapo, maybe the heat was causing a few issues, my order was fine however whilst sat eating I watched them get a customers order wrong not once not twice but 4 times...

They’ve certainly improved over the past year and the queues aren’t out the door like they used to be. Must have employed some better staff!

The chicken was very fresh, and the fries were slightly well done, which is a win for me as soon as someone leaves a table, they are instantly cleaning it ready for the next customer. Great kfc compared to most. 👍

Good spot to stretch the awld pegs

Food was lovely and piping hot, fast service Only thing that put me off slightly was the repeat visit from the onsite cleaner who kept blowing her nose in close proximity to us near where the bin was situated in the restaurant, I get that people have to blow their nose and it cannot be helped but it was off putting when you're trying to eat your meal 😐

Ordered from Just eat. After 1 hour of waiting they suddenly canceled the order, presumably because they were closing. The management is clearly unprepared and incompetent. Should be a simple policy to not take orders if you can't fulfill them. Thanks for wasting my time!

Seriously the worst KFC I’ve ever been to. The food tasted and felt stale - I’d have complained in person if I hadn’t taken it away. Rude and disinterested staff.

Stopped to use the toilet and make a phone call

It's is slow but the staff couldn't work faster - they keep up with the orders as its busy. Friendly. Chips are rubbish and always soggy these days and not crispy at all but chicken good.

Standard KFC as one would expect. However, the woman at the front was miserable and annoyed; when I asked for regular Pepsi instead of Zero...she was quick to say they've ran out and was reluctant to give me a bottle of water, when I asked to swap the drink for water instead. Bottom line is: she shouldn't be at the front, serving customers; if she's in a foul mood.

Smelly toilets. Need refurbishment

Went yesterday, service still as slow as ever and not even very busy. The piece of chicken looked like it had been under the lights since the dawn of time when I got outside to eat it. Sadly the worst kfc in Oxfordshire or I've ever been to and I really like kfc. Staff always seem to be moving slower than snail pace and totally unmotivated. Plus was not a hot day but at the order point you could smell the toilets downstairs. Come on kfc get in there and sort the franchise out. Back 2 years later they are still clueless more than 5 customers and they fall apart. Update the 2 men who started at 8pm should run the place cleared the backlog in 10 mins the other two before had built up aas were just stood looking at a the drinks machine half the time.

Dated Services from 1980/90s. Nothing worth writing home about. I would stop elsewhere for food if you have the option. If you are desperate fir KFC then it's adequate.

Hammad was on shift this evening, honestly the kindest person! Very friendly and polite! Absolute legend! I will return again! He provided the best service, definitely an asset to kfc! It's hard to find dedicated staff these days but hammad is a fine example of this! Very happy thank you again!

It was quite late when we visited, so was relieved to find the KFC still open. We used the touch screen ordering, which was so slow to respond, I almost gave up, but decided to persevere, and eventually completed my order and payment, before taking a seat. Although there was a member of staff sweeping the floor, it did look like a couple of the tables, although not filthy, would have benefitted from a wipe clean, but that didn't happen during our stay. As there were only a couple of other customers, our order was ready in good time. The food was enjoyable, hot and not greasy. Unfortunately, there were no moistened finger wipes, (have KFC stopped providing these?) so found I used far more of the dry towels than seemed necessary.

Items missing, really small portions

There was one guy serving the food so a long wait. The food was cold and soggy because it had been sitting waiting. I ordered a vegan burger with hash brown and cheese, paid an extra £1 for them but they hadn't been put on my burger. Will not be returning

We arrived at about 8pm on Thursday evening - it was fairly quiet which is probably why the food was a bit dry - I guess it's all cooked ahead of time and had been lying under a heater for quite some time.

Didn't eat in so my atmosphere rating maybe off. But the people that were eating in looked relaxed and sounded cheery.

Been there a few times. Both Lunch and dinner. The service is good at lunch and not so good in the evening. Chips are bad but Burgers are good.

The food seemed overcooked compared to other KFCs I have had. This may be a one off. Otherwise it was fairly standard KFC.

A standard KFC effort although I'm not sure if prices are slightly higher then the high street because this is at a services. The good news is there is also a Starbucks, Waitrose and Gregg's at this services. So a decent amount of choice. There is also a Krispy Kreme donut stand in the Waitrose.

Ordered the wrap meal was cold and bland to say the least and very over priced. After ordering and before wrap was prepared asked iff i could change the sauce? and was able to here them shouting and moaning about my request even before it was prepared good old customer care at its best NOT
