AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! ME AND MY PARTNER ORDERED FROM HERE SUNDAY AND HAVE BOTH GOT FOOD POISONING!!! EXTREME DIARRHEA AND VOMITING. HAD THE PARAMEDICS OUT TO ME YESTERDAY, GENUINELY NEVER FELT SO POORLY MY WHOLE LIFE! HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO LOCAL COUNCIL AND TRADING STANDARDS. MY FRIENDS ALSO HAD FOOD FROM HERE SUNDAY AND THEY ARE BOTH BATTLING FOOD POISONING TOO. HARDLY A COINCIDENCE.

Every time I order from this place something is missing. Do not order from here

Very fast service fresh and hot food, very delicious, very friendly staff had no problems with my orders. Definitely will be coming in more often.

I used to love KFC but, it's gone to the dogs. Repeated my order 3 times as I was sat beside the intercom for so long and they still got my order wrong. If you are here then I would recommend going anywhere else that you can see over at Xscape while you are sat in the queue... There's a Domino's around the side too.

Went with my family for quicklunch, I had a spicy wing, it was delicious 😋. Cindy who served us, she's very friendly and helpful. We will be back again.

Ordered KFC for two kids and three adults, and it came to £34. The food was good—crispy chicken, decent portion sizes, and everything was hot. No missing items, and the service was quick. It did the job for a hassle-free meal. Would order again.

Disgusting food re fried chicken it should be called honestly the local chicken shop is better quality and the price is next to non the colonel would be turning in his grave well he did before he died as he was fuming. (In his later years, he became highly critical of the food served at KFC restaurants, and cost-cutting measures that he said reduced its quality, referring to the food as "God-damned slop" with a "wall-paper taste".) Says it all.

Had to put one star to get onto the review but I rate it 0 put in a £60 order tonight for delivery only half turned up. Waited over an hour for it to be delivered. Tried ringing no answer. So if your thinking of ordering food don’t bother disgusting service. 👎

06.03.2025 Reception and order went well and operator was polite. The kiosk window reception was very poor and somewhat rude. Four was missing from the order sides and salads missing, this seems to be a common problem at this branch. The chicken fillets were burnt and very salty.

I ordered a bucket of chicken and got 4 pieces and I ordered 2 drinks and chips and didn’t come when i rang to put a complaint in I told them what happened and then one of the staff members put down the phone.

Not very clean, food isn't always warm and the toilets are always smelly, dirty or lack of toilet roll. The service is pretty slow, always waiting a while to be passed the food even when it's not busy. We don't often visit for these reasons.

Piss on the toilet floor, no lock on the men’s cubicle, chicken was slightly undercooked. Only upside was the fast service but it was very quiet.

Much better service than the Wakefield one, restaurant is heated, food was fresh, well cooked and the order was correct

I am updating my review, I originally reviewed this branch three years ago and I believe that the atmosphere in the branch has improved. However, every single time I order from this branch, there is something missing from the order. I’ve ordered from them upwards of 20times, and the accuracy of my order is consistently low. If it was once or twice, it could be down to individual service however with the repeated poor service in the form of missing items - this is a problem led by incompetent managers, equipment, or policies.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quick and Reliable Drive-Through I’ve only used the drive-through at this KFC, but it’s always been quick and efficient. The service has been decent, and my orders have been accurate every time. Perfect for when you need a hassle-free meal on the go. Keep up the good work!

Worst KFC ever visited.. Seems like many people work inside but never you get your food on time.. Delivery is even worse after 10.30pm they always cancel my order saying no chicken 😒 which is very degrading for KFC, as it is chicken but these people still accept the orders, tried to order from other apps too all the time same reason to get my order cancelled No Chicken 🖕... I think management should have a deep look into it..

I always find the chicken at this location is superior to any of other KFC. I’m not sure if they cook it differently but it tastes amazing! The service can be a little slow if it’s busy however on a normal occasion it’s usually very quick.

Complained that my chicken was dry and the seasoning and skin was almost burnt. Member of staff took my chicken back and cunningly replaced it with different pieces of similarly burnt chicken, in the same bag. No remorse, no apologies. Its my local KFC. Food quality varies but Customer service is consistently poor.

Chicken dunt taste like it used to

Literally the worst service on a late evening, twice now we have been and given cold food, terrible service and missing items. Last week they were having a good fight, whilst we were waiting for our order, then missed half the order.

Ordered a 6pc wicked variety bucket to take away via drive-thru. Came home to find out I was only given 6 pieces of chicken and the fries, missing the fillets and hot wings. Not the first time my order has items missed from this store but this is really taking it too far this time. Saw a group of workers talking together when getting my order ready, clearly distracted from the job.

The staff are young people who do not give a dam, two young ladies were especially rude. Requested some breast pieces, they nodded but did not reply and did not pass the message on. We recieved 6 drumsticks and 4 back pieces. We asked if we could order at the counter and they refused us but as we were eating a man clearly ordered at the counter! Shame on you and your inadequate staff!

This branch of KFC is an absolute joke. The drive in part is the worst one I have ever visited. The order intercom was out and there was o ly one person serving when I finally got to the window. The rest of the staff were doing the just eat/ home delivery services. What a joke

This KFC is the best one I’ve been too the staff are absolutely amazing they deserve so much more than a positive review and the higher up management should look at what they can do as a reward the food is amazing the staff are amazing I couldn’t find a fault with anything even if I tried. Food was ok, although I had to wait a long time for the food after ordering. I then received a £60 parking fine for being over the 60 minutes allowed. Great! I have visited this restaurant many times over the years but due to this experience and after contacting KFC customer service who said there was nothing they can do to help, this will be the last time . BEWARE OF THE TIME LIMIT FOR PARKING . I cannot believe paying customers are fined, especially late in the evening when the car park was empty.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat on route. Found it surprisingly empty at dinner time. Was there around 11.30 ish and there's was 3 people including me in there. Place is clean and service was OK. Why don't they do service to tables as McDonald's do? Not sure why they have those annoying ipad types screens( no doubt covered in everything bug under the sun) then you have to wait at the counter for your food anyway! I do enjoy a good KFC and would chose it every time over McDonald. However, I believe that the food portions are getting smaller. I don't go very often, too expensive imo, and have noticed that the bun the chicken comes in seems smaller somehow. The box chicken burgers seem less than a few years ago. I also get lost on the amount on the menu. Chicken is chicken and yet there's this burger, that burger etc. For someone who doesn't go often, they all look the same until you buy one and discover you've actually bought the smallest on the menu and it doesn't fill you up. Anyway enough negatives, I love chicken and they are building a new drive through 5 mins from my house so I guess I'll be there instead of the Mcdonalds I use (bored of cardboard tasting food). Breakfast at mcd is great, rest no so. Plenty of seats and car park has enough spaces to park. Oh, one thing I don't like is the delivery service people. They always seem to park at the front and are in the way as you try to order. Same at McDonald's. Annoying at best. Anyway, glass Houghton is pretty good tbf.

Was really looking forward to a lovely kfc after a really horrible day had us waiting nearly over 2 hours just to cancel our order when the courier got there! By the time they cancelled our order it was too late to order from anywhere else! very disappointed.

Didn't give me the correct order.First didn't give my drinks and then my burger I got my drink but when I noticed the burger wasn't there I had already ate my food so couldn't get it.even the food wasn't even good.

The food was okay. Customer service was crap. Girl serving looked like she hated life. I asked for sauce, and she threw it at me. KFC used to be my fave fast food. It's gone down hill.

Absolutely terrible place, even to work at. General Manager is nasty to the Team Members, shows them no respect even in front of customers. Food and drinks are forgotten, chicken isn't cleaned properly and sometimes undercooked. Sometimes waiting on chicken and orders for over an 30 minutes to an hour. Do not recommend working or coming here. Some of the managers are really nice though such as Ethan and Bradley as well as some team members such as Jess and Jade.

Don't bother. They'll delete your order, run out of fillets and then "try" to give you a refund which will take 3-5 working days to process, "if it works". You were fast enough taking the money. It should be an immediate refund in this day and age. Ridiculous.

Don’t bother ordering food from them, they will not deliver and still charge you! Thieves

This place is hit or miss with the food also make sure you check your order as they sometimes forget to put everything in the order

Just ordered rice box when i got home they had given me chicken fillets and 4 tub of gravy shit service also as change was given she didnt hand over chang proply and five pound note flew off so i had to park up and go and find it i defo wont be going there again abserlute crap dog enjoyed chicken but lets face it dogswill eat anything .

Absolutely appalling. Can't order at counter. No hot drinks Ordered Zinger burger, had to take it back as it had zero spice on it. Gave me another, exactly the same, asked staff if the zinger was meant to be spicy, they said yes, i told them neither where it was just plain chicken. They said it depends who puts the spice on, or NOT today! The chicken is obviously frozen as it was just mush. Tiny portion of cold chips. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST FAST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. TRULY DISGUSTING.

Woefull last i went in, cold,,the tables were 50% clean and sopping wet,50% rubbish all over, food was greasy, and not the best,,,watery gravy,except for the chicken sandwich,that was ok but actually not done how i asked, was just grubby tbh..last time in there

We eat here almost every week and we love the food. What was special was today I left my phone on the table and they found it and kept it until I came back to look for it. A big thank you to all the staff. I would recommend this place to everyone for the exceptional service.

The mens toilets are disgusting and smells so bad. Taps on the sinks are hanging off and one doesn't work. It's been like that for a long time.

Popped in for a latte, unfortunately they no longer serve hot drinks, so I shall have to go to their Arched competitor opposite.

Ive been to this KFC many times and I can honestly say its the best one I’ve ever been to. The chicken tastes fresh and the chips are consistently delicious

3rd time now receiving incorrect and incomplete food order, even after asking to please check that everything is in the bag! As traveling some distance with the food, surprise surprise, hot wings missing from a £55 order. There won't be a 4th time! Incompetent staff at the window of the drive through.

Absolutely rubbish!!! Everything is too much hassle for the staff, if you approach the counter to order, you can only do so if you have cash!! Ordered a bargain bucket, asking for some breast or side breast pieces, as our family not so keen on other parts but understand we will get some. Didn't get a single breast or side breast, if you cannot give me any, tell me then I won't waste my money!!

Probably the worst KFC in the UK, and we are silly enough to keep returning. The portions are ridiculous, 3pce.. includes a chicken leg, some type of wing, and a rib cage with 2 bites on it.. Hit and miss whether the chicken is juicy or rock HARD, and hit and miss whether it's hot!. The one in Pontefract town centre is not much better, Ferrybridge services is completely different.. always hot, juicy and proper chicken pieces. Stop cutting corners, give better training to the young staff. READ YOUR REVIEWS!.. they are terrible! Today was the final straw Castleford.. what a total waste of money!

Food was good as you would expect from the franchise, very friendly staff, didn't have to wait in a queue for too long. Only thing that takes away a star from ratings is overflowing of the rubbish bins, also self service kiosks were out of order (all four of them were out of paper). Overall it is a good place for a quick bite to eat. Edit: Changed to 5 stars after the place has been refurbished making it look more spacious inside. All the kiosks were working and the place looked tidy.

2nd time I have been here and its absolutely disgusting.on both occasions I ordered different burgers and both times they taste like they have been stored for a couple of days.and don't even get me started on the corn (dry and like rubber ) I even forgot I ordered it in bbq as they put the slightest bit on top.also such a bad smell in the toilet and in store and same smell around the building. It took ages for food. The chicken was slightly warm. I asked the lad on the counter for a couple of sporks and his reply what are they. After explaining he replied well I ain't white am I. I found that highly offensive 🙁

No soap in dirty and bad smelling toilets(i was more than 1 time and same smell) ,and in photo is a part from lettuce found in my Zinger instead to be in bin!!!

I waited ages to be served and it took a while for my food to arrive. I ate in the restaurant not thinking anything of it until today I received a £100 parking charge for taking longer than an hour. What an absolute joke.. I will not be giving money to this restaurant again.

Do not eat here very poor service also watch out for there stealth car parking charges .cameras are watching you .if you exceed 1 hr parking you get fined £170 pounds so be warned. The food was rubbish and I will never eat here again nor will I park at any kfc establishment as they are making excess money out of you by stealth. Be warned.

Used the drive through, there was no chicken available so we had to wait. When we got home the bargain bucket chicken tasted dry and the fries were soggy.

Missed half my order, rang the store and got a code to get the two meals next time with a freebie thrown in and both meals upgraded to large. Very understanding and professional staff.

This has got to be the worst experience of any fast food take away I've suffered. Where do I start. Service, was there any, the ordering system was slow, the food delivery after from the counter was diabolically pedantic, over 30 minutes waiting for food. Then when it did finally arrive it was dull and really lacking in any quality or volume. So ridiculously expensive for what it was. Then let's add the hygiene, the tables were tacky, so we cleaned our own, the bins were overflowing and the toilets were not very clean, and that's being nice. The staff, well I can't blame them really knowing the pathetic salary they will be on, were about as happy as funeral attendees. So you've figured out I and my party didn't rate KFC at all. I have spoken to them with my complaint and they have basically dismissed everything. I, 100% will never lower myself to a KFC ever again. There are thousands of far superior cafes, restaurants and take aways in the area, that provide quality food and service above and beyond than that of KFC. This particular site and company are simply not worthy of mine or my families hard earned money.
