Kebabish & Tandoori Balti in Wakefield

I hadn’t ordered from kebabish in years, therefore thought I would give it a try last night. I made my order at 6.58 and hadn’t received my order at 8. I then rang into store and they advised that my order should arrive in the next 10-15 minutes. It did not. I rang again and they said it could be another 10 minutes and then we were informed that the food was still at the shop. Instead of it getting delivered we had to go collect it ourselves. They did not offer any discount for the long period that we had waited. Obviously the food was cold and soggy by the time we got to eat it which was at 9.10. I had also ordered a whole chicken but was only given half a chicken. My dad requested in store to speak to a manager and the worker at the till advised that the manager would call us. We did not receive any call from management. Extremely disheartened by the service. Waiting 2 hours for food is really not acceptable especially when you have young kids that have school the next morning. Really upsetting that the management didn’t have the courtesy to give us a call. Definitely a shame.

Delivery on time pizza spot on. 👍👍 very enjoyable once again.. The mixed starter was also very nice.

I've ordered from these a few times but will never be ordering again. I ordered a medium donner kebab, it came with 5 strands of donner meat. Then when I called up to ask what was wrong there was no answer. I regularly order from this place and tip well. I didn't think they would mess me around like this. Will be informing friends and family not to order.

Absalute shocking kebab meat was crispy dry rang to complain to be told it’s fresh I asked for refund to be told I’ll sort you out next time 🤣🤣like I’ll ever order again from that place . Ordered on just eat so got a FULL refund … nice 1 lads messed up again and again from your poor reviews✊💦💦👍🏻🤣🤣🤣

Ordered today took forever to be delivered and came ice cold imagine an ice cold pizza. Tried to ring but no answer several times. Totally avoid absolutely disgusting

Wouldn’t order from here again!! Not the best of foods let alone the rest. Took an hour for my order to come, for my curries to be spilt all over the bag, wrong dip too rang up twice after where 2 different people spoke on both occasions telling me they was sending the right one out for me to ring 3rd time and them saying they don’t have a clue. Ridiculous

Ordered a large kebab and this is what I get, absolutely appalling, wouldn’t recommend, food was cold when it was arrived, had to warm pizza up in microwave.

Ordered from here quite a few times my husband always orders grilled chicken which he loves nowhere in the description does it say there is any spice never has been before but this time it was that hot he couldnt eat it i ordered mixed kebab and everything was dry but so spicy to that point i couldnt eat it dont know whats going on cos its normally nice but both our dishes have ended up in the bin

My kids love Kebabish, local and great food, staff always polite when they deliver, great customer service all the time.

Shocking everying is dry the chips are rock hard and bun is like its been microwaved

Ive just eaten the most disappointing kebab in my life, well the bit I ate as couldn't even eat half of it. £26 for food that has gone into the bin. As I'd ordered the special kebab and seen a picture I assumed it came in a sauce but there was no sauce and no salad just bright red rock hard chicken and some other kind of meat (??? Your guess is as good as mine what kind of meat it is if it was even meat). I should have looked into the reviews a bit better, I will never order anything from here again What a waste of £26, what a shame

The worst chips I ever had. It was our first and last order from this place. Starters were really dry and old. No dips ether. Old and soggy chips. Chicken masala curry and chicken Rogan Josh were exactly the same! Kebab lamb wasn't too bad. Looked fresh. So disappointed!

This take away take payment for my order off just eat which was at 6pm this afternoon. Its now 9pm and no answer at takeaway. I've been at work all day and wanted something quick with my family. Need to be refunded!!! This is horrible

Absolutely amazing food, staff Ali made sure our order was perfect and gave us more than asked with no extra charge. Definitely recommend they do the best curries and at such amazing prices the offer is unbelievable and to top it off the curries are mouthwatering and out of this world :) very happy customer.

Fantastic value and quality. I did not expect for the price I would enjoy my food so much. I was even my normal awkward self and changed a couple of items on the meal deal. Ali the guy at the desk is now invited to my birthday party, what a guy! The unsung hero of curry houses. I now buy from Ali every week and am never dissapointed. Ordered via just eat, incomplete order when I phoned up to find out where my missing item was they argued telling me it was just eats fault. It arrived looking great but once dished up and tried the damask was slightly hotter than the Rogan Josh but all 3 curries tasted nearly the same in taste and appearance shocking experience all together

Don’t order from here if you actually want to eat! Waited 2 hours for our food, phoning up the place about 3 times before it arrived. Had to deliver our food by taxi. Kebabish - if you’re too busy, don’t accept the order. It’s not fair to keep people waiting 2 hours for their food😡 not to mention the food was mediocre.

Great service, lovely food, good value. Always on time, and delivered by a polite and friendly chap everytime. Highly recommend this place, by far the best takeaway round here

They are horrible I ordered at 19:16 and still don't have my food they have poor customer service and laugh in the background with everyone there I felt that was really rude I will NEVER EVER order from this place again I also recommend you don't either

I order 2 kebabs with mayo my mates food was horrible she found what looked to be a small stone and for 3 hair strands they are normally grate with food and very grate with there delivering but so some reason last night was horrible now me and my friend have both got the sick sick flu don't think I will be ordering from here again any time soon

Really friendly staff. Stopped off to break up a long journey and was a very pleasent detour. Nothing fancy but that was just what we wanted. Good honest food. :)
