KFC Chelmsford- Springfield in Chelmsford

For the first time in years they gave me the kfc that I remember. I have had bad experiences at almost every kfc in chelmsford but tonight a pat on the back for the Springfield branch Everything was perfect well done

This KFC is becoming more disorganised. Service is poor and the waste area was a mess. Looks like staff had not sorted it for hours. Tables were dirty and sticky.

If I had known that the number on the plackard was the amount of time you have to wait for you food to be brought out, id have gone for a smaller number!

Used the auto service to order my food. I got my food with 5 mins. The food was hot and delicious.

Manager (Pathum) was was so helpful and had great customer service

Delivery time kept getting pushed back and some portions of fries missing.

the driver went across Chelmsford to come back to our address it was ridiculous, meal was cold, paid for 2 extra chicken fillets got only 1 not happy

delivery guy rang to say he'd arrived which was helpful.

Wanted to order a takeaway, taking advantage of the deal £4 for this & that. You can't do this on the machine... let me know how if you can.. Went to the till... without an ounce of care the employee ushered me to the machine, after making me wait about 5 mins at the till. Turned out he actually couldn't speak English. I'm not kidding. His colleague kindly assisted and then took over. I think this should be a bare minimum while working in a customer facing job in England, that's just my opinion. In Spain you need to speak two languages min to work on tills. This is pure disrespect from the establishment to allow this kind of rudeness to customers & irresponsible of them to allow someone to be hired who cannot perform the job.

Staff was extremely friendly and the place was kept quite clean despite being a little busy. 👍

Time kept changing but ended up being nearly an hour later than original timing. It told me a driver had been allocated at the original promised delivery time so thought it wouldn’t be too long, but food arrived stone cold 48 minutes later - seems like the food was prepared on time and sat on the side waiting for the driver to show up, otherwise how was it so cold? I tried to contact Just Eat to cancel and complain and was informed they would be in touch within 7 days - useless to me tonight!!

Ordered at around 5.20 pm still haven't received it.

Dog Friendly KFC! Currently sitting here dining in with other people’s dogs.. great to know.. I would encourage anyone with a dog to bring them in here.. spread the word..

food was cold wrong items put in the box missing pop corn chicken x2 + beans not gravy not sure who read the receipt but got it all wrong as you can tell not happy

I ordered the food at 17.10pm it arrived at 18.35 and the chips were soggy and the chicken was just about warm enough.

Where the prices are going? A few tiny chicken pieces meal for £9.49, and gotta pay for juice bottle extra, and only get 1 dip… isn’t that ridiculous? Used to be 2dips, didn’t have to pay extra for bottled drink… and then they’re complaining people don’t go for take aways anymore… pricing is the issue, can see lots of staff just wandering around in the kitchen, yet waiting like 20min to get my order prepared…

I am very disappointed with the just eat service as my order arrived over an hour later that expected time.

The food never arrived, it says it’s been delivered but it hasn’t. The restaurant have refused to help. Absolutely appalling service!

Ordered boneless banquet. Guy shuved the food at us, shut the window and walked away before we could even ask for sauce. (A dipping sauce is meant to be included!) I had no spoon for my beans. Careless, I was in a rush so didn't have the time to wait for him to reappear. Clearly needs to learn some customer service skills!!

There's no way to remove items from your burgers which means some people can't order.

Staffs are nice, place is tidy, toilet is clean. Unfortunately, the Kiosks and KFC app don't work properly; luckily staffs well know what they do, so a bit of longer than usual to complete the order.

food is more than an hour late and no follow up from the app. it says courier is at the restaurant but it's not true when I called and checked with the restaurant

You know what you’ll get when you go to a KFC, so not too many surprises - only this time the chips were actually hot. They definitely need a new speaker and mic for the drive thru ordering though - they couldn’t hear us and they sounded like Charlie Brown’s schoolteacher.

Nipan is a great guy he was quick at service as well lovely to speak to him

Went to drive throu and got told to go the the window and sat there for 10 minutes to be told to go back around as I didn't order even though I was told to go to the window then the order was missing things and the staff were busy on there personal phone's

Ordered the food at 06:09pm. As it is a weekend I would expect a little delay, but 2 and a half hours (08:38pm), and the food was freezing cold. Tried to call the shop whilst waiting but no answer. Truly the worst experience we have ever had. We have never had this problem before.

I only go to this KFC if I finish work late. I use the drive-through, and the last few times I've been, they have either given me the wrong food I asked for or not put it in the bag at all. Staff are not on the ball with orders.

I've had KFC a few times, and usually enjoyed it. I decided to get the new Buffalo Tower burger. A lot of big claims on the TV ad and on the menu about its height etc. Unfortunately this tower was more like a bungalow. They must have used a child with tiny hands in the menu pictures to show off how huge this thing is. I know never to expect to get what you're shown by the marketing but this really was a joke how small it was.

Try to avoid this KFC store. I stopped in the drive thru before going to hospital, I asked in the window to please have everything with cups and plates for the boneless feast I order. They did NOT put the 4 sauces I paid for with the menu, and did NOT put cups either, not salt for the corn or forks for the salads. I should check but I was in a hurry and has I specifically ask the guy to put everything in I thought it would be fine, but not Every time they "forget" something, I think the manager get an extra payment if they "spend less" and they constantly "forgot" things on the order, it's specially this store, for the rest I don't need to remind them but this one even asking the they keep "forgetting".

Ive visited this brand across the country and this is by far the worst KFC in the UK in my opinion. I ordered the 3 pieces of original chicken meal to takeaway.On returning home I found 3 chicken drumsticks, my side at £2 !! of small beans were congealed and the chips cold. This is the 3rd visit to this restaurant since it opened.Returning each time in the hope that improvements had been made as I live close and like the brand but on each visit it gets worse. Dont waste your money and go else where or get Popeyes to deliver.

The rice was only a half portion. poorly packed, chips had all fallen out of the chip bag!

Our delivery was 1 hour 40 minutes after ordering and the food was cold. We order from here a lot and are always happy so this was disappointing. A refund or voucher should be offered as this was unacceptable with no apologies sent or explanation.

I love KFC but a bit of a drive to the nearest takeaway, I don't like ordering on instore screens so one of the very helpful staff did it for me, the mighty bucket for one and a zinger burger was really tasty, thank you

Amazing can’t fault! They didn’t have the ONE piece of chicken I asked for (I did order other food) but they gave me some other stuff to replace it Amazing service! And I loved the little note thank you for having such good customer service!

A few years ago they had great hot wings, according to their staff they had changed the supplier and are now selling the worst hot wings with the price after inflation! It has been a year, too salty, less crispy and mix with tiny wings. I won't recommend it if you come to this KFC just for hot wings. Good staff poor food quality.

The most tidy and clean KFC, I visited in the UK. The customer services are nice and they actually do a good job to make the restaurant clean.

Appalling from start to finish. 25 min wait for food to take away on an unbusy day. When asked what the delay was I was offered no apology, no eye contact, no sympathy, nothing just told they were waiting on the chicken. It was as though they just did not care. Other customers returning to the service area to complain about orders with missing items or incorrect items again met with disdain and lack of care. Will never return.

Genuinely appalled! Arrived at the restaurant to find it not busy at all. Ordered on the touch screens and then had to wait 25 mins for our order! Other orders were completed, but many customers had to come back because there were either missing or wrong items in the orders. After 10 minutes, I asked what the delay was. No eye contact from the server, no apology, just the words 'we're waiting on the chicken'. Then they turned their back on me. After 15 mins, I asked how much longer until we would get our order. Again, no eye contact, no apology just told '10 mins'. Other customers were now getting involved and raising their own concerns that we'd been waiting so long, but the response from the staff was to shrug and walk away. Appalling service - rude, disinterested, dismissive, unsympathetic. Will never go there again!

Absolutely ridiculous experience with just eat...we made an order, which shows delivered...but it hasn't been delivered. Just eat have to make sure that the drivers are doing their jobs properly...

I’m just wondering how they haven’t shut down this kfc. The Indian lady on the driveway is very rude. However when they gave me my order Mega box I had to return it as they had served me a few countable fries. Their chicken was very smelly and the box war ripped. I hope they do something about this KFC!!!

Clean, tidy, clean table. Food hot and not oily, quickly got our order. Love the watermelon and lime very refreshing. Parking was good not crammed.
