KFC - Bolton Derby Street in Bolton

Simple order - a 6 piece bucket of chicken. Was asked eating in or out - answer out. 4 packs of fries had to be included which I didn’t want but was tired and accepted. Got the meal home to find 5 pieces plus the clipped end of a chicken wing to make 6. All was completely over fried and dry. Won’t go back and hope the owners are happy and enjoy sitting on the princely sum of the cost of the 6’th piece of chicken they didn’t provide.

Was fined £60 for parking my car in their car park while I enjoyed a meal with my friends. Signage is misleading and Impossible to see the short sign as you go in because it's lower than your car. The message you gave me KFC, was yeh come here, eat, and get the hell out within 75 minutes because we want money and don't care about our customer experience. Staff weren't so good either. It was clear they didn't care about the customers, lack of any enthusiasm to serve us, and unwelcoming. Everything looked like a chure to them. Not polite either. Avoid this place. They just want money. Food was average.

Had ginga Box meal with hot wings and Culshaw. It was large meal with Pepsi max it is very tasty. Service was little poor.

Called in today for food chips look like there been sat their for a while,just warmed up when customers come in,it doesn't look nice I would,nt even give them to my dog ,I hope something gets sorted with this

Terrible service, been twice and it was really quiet both times but still had me waiting well over 20 minutes. Never got the order right both times. All to busy taking selfies, hitting each other with brushes acting like children. I sat at the window the first time for a good 5 minutes they literally looked at me while doing all this and didn't even bother to open the window to say how long. It's a joke. I had to ask them where my order was and then they decided to pack it, clearly they wasnt waiting for anything just couldnt be arsed actually serving. Absolute joke. No management clearly and being run by immature staff. Doubt it will last long.

Used to really enjoy a Kentucky occasionally but what a disappointment place was dirty more staff than customers all as helpful as traffic wardens by the time l got home 600 yards Chips were sad and stone cold popcorn chicken was soggy best part was the coke avoid this place

Worse ever KFC. Soggy, limp and poor. Staff don’t seem to be bothered. Won’t use this place again. Not sure where the QA is.

Went into this KFC to order some food. It wasn’t too busy, only a few just eat drivers. I was stood there for a good 15 minutes and the staff knew I was there, but they never once thought to take my order. It took my husband telling them ‘we’re here to order’ and they answered with ‘Oh! Okay!’ And then when I tried to order my ‘3 piece fillet meal’ the one with just 3 chicken fillets, fries and a drink. The girl kept cutting me off asking which sides I wanted. I tried to explain I just wanted the fillet meal which doesn’t come with extra sides, she just kept saying ‘which side which side which side?’ When I finally got the food, the food was fine, but the staff seriously need to buck up their customer service skills. Very poor and downright rude.

Wasn't happy with chicken very dry and No drumsticks my dogs are most of it delivery service was very good and on time as promised

I had change cuisine as I was on my lunch break. I ordered fillet tower 1piece box meal. After order they asked seat on table and waited so long. This KFC is very busy serving drivrtru then inside. Very disappointing.

The food were excellent and hot. The staff are also nice service with smile. I will be back soon. Waiting time in the queue can be long?

Recently ordered a meal for myself and my wife. My Wife does not like spicy chicken so I ordered her a Fillet burger. I do not like chicken breast so ordered three LEG or THIGH pieces + 4 Hot Wings. They sent --- 1 x Zinger Burger + 3 Breast pieces of chicken and 4 x cold wings. Perhaps on their next recruitment drive they should choose Literate people who are aware of the anatomy of a chicken who know the difference between hot and cold. I had hoped that the poor reputation of this KFC branch would have improved (Lets face it , they have had eight week to retrain their staff, but it appears they still have a "couldn't care less approach to service". This is one franchise that needs NEW MANAGEMENT and NEW DIRECTION. Until then, my advice is STAY CLEAR!!!

Went here and it’s the third time only becoz hungry and on way from from somewhere never get order right always missing something to much in a hurry just use Allen’s, the food isn’t burnt and the gravy is better

My husband has just been to KFC and realised his fries were missing when he got home. Can't even get through on the phone to complain just re-directs to Just Eat to order. Ridicilous

Ordered a zinger tower box meal with mash and beans and three pieces of chicken. Costing over £17! Received a chicken burger, chips, gravy! Left the order outside waiting for it to be collected and no one has come back for it! Took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get a refund through just eat

Disaapointed in myself because I trusted them to get my order right. After reminding them that large meals come with a large drink, got home and after ordering & paying for 3 regular gravy's with the meals - I got none!

Disappointed with VERY DRY FOOD. I dont like food dripping in grease but the whole point to KFC used to be about "Finger Lickin" and thats the gorgeous juice of the chicken skin which dosent seem to exist anymore cause no juice to lick of ya fingers! Same with the chips, really dry, like tasteless microwave chips. The 1 piece of original chicken I got in the streetwise mega box was inedible, just all bones I think they put the cheapest pieces in the box deals. And to top all of that I didnt get gravy in this box deal. I had ordered an extra side of gravy so did get at least one tub, but thats not the point. The three star is for the Hot Wings which were alright cause they are supposed to be a little drier as they are crispy. Dont know if the food from all KFCs is now dry rather than juicy like it used to be or just this Bolton one.

Orderd my food for half of my order to be missing including hot wings and an entire Allstate flaming meal for my child to be missing you can imagine the disappointment when I wrong they said ring just eat as the driver may of eaten the food absolute joke

I ordered a 18 piece bucket, and I noticed that the pieces were smaller, like they were cut into half pieces and then fried. Was not happy with that.

Worst KFC around, customer service was non existent, chips clearly been out all day, chicken was so dry and actually lodged in your throat after it was swollowed. If I hadn’t have got a take away I would have asked for my money back

Tight for time as it sometimes get for a family on a Sunday afternoon we thought we would “nip down” to KFC and pick up a drive thru for the family. On arrival to the site and seeing only a few cars in the que gave us further encouragement that this was a great choice and time saving plan.

This has got to be the worst KFC out there for customer service..unfortunately it's my local 1 and I love KFC bargain buckets for the family but it's always short of chicken pieces or a side. The kids love boneless banquets but there is always something missing..last Sunday I complained and the guy that took my order said customer satisfaction is important don't worry I'll give you some extra chicken..I ordered a 10 piece bucket for the family expecting extra chicken as promised then when I got home it was actually 1 short again lol...so funny you think your gonna get 13/14 pieces and you end up with 9..obviously I couldn't be bothered going back and won't do again..they have took the piss for the last time

Food was very good nice and hot but we ate in I don’t think I’ve ever eaten in somewhere as cold in my life and I work outside all year round

The Bolton kfc next to McDonald’s is shocking always get orders wrong and I have to re make the burger every time as it has been chucked together!!!

This KFC a hoax. The chicken was no different to a chicken shop anywhere else. KFC has a reputation and a recipe to upkeep. It just was not KFC’s original recipe chicken. (It was not a bad meal though)

KFC Bolton is consistently terrible. Usually the food tastes okay, which is why despite the poor service I still OCCASIONALLY go, but even that's irregular and I don't go too often... the main issue seems to be the service.

Can I ask what is up with Kfc at the moment ,I no they had delivery issues but that was weeks ago .Yet no matter what I asked for on Sat they didn't have and it still has a sign up saying limited Menu .

I wouldnt usuall put a review on about a KFC, BUT I can honestly say this was the best KFC I've ever had. The place was busy busy yet the staff coped really well, taking orders and asking customers to take a seat then calling out the order numbers.

Had a delivery last night. Not only was the service by Justeat efficient and five minutes early. The delivery driver was very polite.

Service poor. We no longer use this KFC as the Staff was not friendly or helpful. My wife and I get a bargain bucket with 4 chips in every other KFC we can swap 2 chips for 2 other side portion. We were not allowed to do this here and they were abrupt food not the best. We no longer use this branch

First time I been to this place. The staff got my order wrong two time and there is no apology. The toilet is dirty and smells the manegment of this KFC need to check and retraining of staff needed.

I have been going here few times month. Today was the worst. I have never had good service at this Darby St. KFC. I had to go here because it near my work. This place most of time there is soup in the toilet to wash hand and toilet smell and dirty. Coming back to what happened today. After I placed order at counter I asked staff can you put soup in toilet so I can wash my hands,I will ask some one to do it. Half hour gone no one did. After got the food at counter I asked if I can have wipes and tissue she said all finished. After that I put my food on table along with shopping recipet for garantee went to disabled toilet to wash my hand. When I come back on the staff put my food and papers in bin. When I asked lady who (Ellesha) clearing table she says I didn't do it. After a family who was dinning at the time opposite to my table they said she done it. I asked the manager ( Mechelle) what going on some my important papers and food gone in bin. she says you should keep your papers with you its not our fault no apology from any staff. I asked her can you ask some one to get papers out of bin. She says we are not doing it. After that I have to go in bin get papers out my self.

Been here lots of times when passing through the area great food cooked nice friendly staff only downside its not kept clean inside and out which is a let down as its great otherwise.

I visited KFC and they are not good listeners when I order they didn't gave my receipt.they gave us incomplete order.It's been the second time I had this problem.in the future I will never go there.i am not satisfied with this restaurant.

Really good variety of food which is good quality and good customer service. Good price. Good location close to town centre.

I am wondering if one day I will learn my lesson and stop going back here. This visit was to pop inside for an order to take out, I won’t use the drive thru as too many orders in the past have been incorrect.

This place I have been few times I have say every time the wash room was dirty or no soup in dispense. I don't know why this KFC don't listen to what customer say. They should be shamed of the review these getting.

Absolutely ridiculous, arrogant staff, I placed the order and the guy named 'ANTONY' who was not willing to work that night refused to clean our table .. on insisting he wiped it and out of anger refused to give us ketchup saying it's finished .. which made me surprised that how they are running their business .. on enquiring the shift incharge provided me with some ketchup and tissues but by that time our food was cold .. I only went there as it was the nearest halal kfc but was really disappointed .. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE .. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN ..

Filthy, always filthy, quality of food poor, order wrong. Just a poor kfc, virtually no parking either. Avoid!

Four weeks after they screwed up my first drive thru order, they did it again! I couldn’t believe when I got home and found I had been given 4 tubs of gravy instead of 2 gravies and 2 beans as part of my Boneless Banquet 12-piece order.

For some reason the Derby Street, Bolton KFC is not listed on Trip Advisor, probably because it is so bad and I note there are several reviews for Derby Street on this page for a different branch of KFC – However I have now asked Trip Advisor to put the required listing on for the Derby Street Branch.
