Dear KFC, I am writing to share my deep disappointment with a series of unsatisfactory experiences I have encountered at one of your KFC locations (Walton High Street). I hope that by providing this feedback, you can take the necessary steps to enhance the overall customer experience at your establishment. During a scorching summer day in 2022, I visited your store with great anticipation. However, I was dismayed to discover that the fountain drink options were limited and store lacked ice. Consequently, I requested a cold can as a substitute, only to be informed that such cans were exclusively reserved for delivery orders. This refusal left me feeling disheartened and dissatisfied with the service provided. Due to this disappointing experience, I refrained from visiting your establishment for an entire year. However, when I decided to give it another chance, I was shocked by the exorbitant charge of £13 for a seemingly straightforward order of six mini strips and medium fries. To my surprise, it became evident that the staff member processing my transaction deliberately tried to find the most expensive option on the till. This questionable action further intensified my dissatisfaction and raised concerns about the integrity of the service provided. I took the initiative to report my concerns online. The resolution offered was a £5 voucher as compensation. I intended to use this voucher during my next visit. Yet I encountered another disconcerting incident. As soon as I entered the store, a staff member exclaimed, "I remember you!", I found this declaration perplexing and unexpected. When I attempted to seek further clarification, I discreetly started recording the encounter using my phone camera. Astonishingly, the staff member objected vehemently to being recorded, abruptly ending my visit. This incident left me feeling unsettled and frustrated with the treatment received. Moreover, I have noticed a significant lack of diversity among the staff at this particular location. The team predominantly consists of individuals who do not reside in Walton. I sincerely hope that my feedback serves as an impetus for positive change within your organization. It is vital to address these issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction, ensure fair practices, and foster a diverse and inclusive environment. As a valued customer, I hold the KFC brand in high regard and hope to see improvements in the experiences offered. Thank you for considering my concerns. Sincerely,

This review is about poor customer service. We ordered food via JustEat the food was acceptable quality but there was a problem with a missing item. We ordered a kids chicken meal at £3.99 and it came without the chicken. Just Eat have accepted the problem but only refunded £1.99 because only the chicken was missing. But the whole point of a chicken meal is the chicken! It’s worthless and hopeless without it .

Not bad food but don’t order extras as they never come. Asked for delivery to be left in porch due to isolating, but a huge bang on the door answered it and the delivery driver was walking off! Shouted at me saying he had been there for 10 mins! Total lie as we were on the look out! Thrust the food at me no social distancing still shouting felt very intimidated! Will not order from Just eat again for KFC, apparently is KFC driver! Horrible experience.

This was not a visit. We were excited to see that KFC was open for deliveries during lockdown. Looked forward to it all day, so disappointed. Food was lukewarm at best, chicken overcooked, not the kfc flavour we remember, oven chips which were horrible. Won’t be ordering again.

Very disappointed. Ordered via JustEat and ordered a doner with cheese. Instead of using burger cheese which kebab shops normally used they gave me a doner kebab loaded with strong cheddar cheese, totally inedible. Threw in bin and they wouldn't give me a refund. Stay away. I will use Molesey fish bar from now one.

Small restaurant in Hampton Court. After visiting the castle you can relax here and enjoy local dishes. The smoothies were very good, as was the food. Good service. You can sit outside when the weather is nice.

Celebrated a birthday, nice feel to the place. Struggled with Internet access and app compliance.

A surprisingly spacious and comfortable venue with very enjoyable food, created by what was clearly a talented Chef, who ultimately cooked my desired meal to perfection. Unfortunately, the standard of "Front of House" did not mirror the excellence in the kitchen. In particular, the Restaurant Manger/Maitre D' - or however he styled himself - soured the evening utterly. Much as I love meat dishes, I have a total abhorrence of bloodied, red and pink meats and will always ask for my steak to be "well done". A personal foible but, if I'm paying, then it will be cooked my way. The episode began with the waiter taking the order and suggesting I have my meat cooked medium or medium-rare. I refused. We went through the malarkey at least once more and I explained. He scuttled off. Shortly thereafter, the Restaurant Manager popped up at the table and the discussion about the cooking of my steak began again, only this time in a voice so loud as to make people from other tables look over, his bullying onslaught reaching the point where I felt completely humiliated but unwilling to budge over how I wanted my food cooked. He was absolutely insistent that I could not have the steak well done. It was like being harangued by Walton's answer to Pol Pot, ramming his so-called "professional expertise" down my throat with a shovel. My partner intervened, gave him a blunt delivery, told him to drop it and do as I asked. After attempting to argue with my partner (an ex-Chef himself) further on the matter he finally walked away having caused me extreme embarrassment, made a spectacle of himself, offered no apology and attempted to impose his will on his paying guests - those self-same guests who keep him in employment Not acceptable. Would I recommend? The food absolutely "yes". The bumptious little dictator on Reception? Absolutely not.
