KFC in Cherwell

Received only 4 prices of chicken in the family sharing meal which is supposed to have 6 pieces via Uber Eats in a sealed bag. I called Bicester KFC and the manager did not care or offer any recompense or to provide the two missing pieces. The large Uber Eats driver had a white T-Shirt with bodybuilder written on it and didn’t say hello, goodbye or thanks just immediately demanded the PIN number. Very rude. I thought that was very strange because the last time this happened a delivery driver asked to see my card and took all the details and went to France buying loads of things on my card somehow. So I thought this man was very suspect with his rudeness. Guess we just have to accept that these days. However the bag was sealed so it can’t be him. I explained this to the manager and told him he was responsible. He blamed the driver, became very rude and then hung up!!!! Ahhh, horrible service. I will NEVER use either service again.

10/02/24 at 21:00 phone call , Worse manager ever!! Rude arrogant and screaming at you for there mistake of the order! Always talking never lets you say what's wrong!! No knowledge of customer service and has the nerve to say that I can pick up the missing items when we pay for delivery and everything is wrong with the order!! No refund , no apologies nothing , such a deshuman arrogant person!! Wrong place to be working!! Poor poor KFC of Bicester getting worse with this type of karens as a manager!

So slow , not enough staff working. To be fair staff that were working were great just the service was so slow as there wasn't enough staff working for a Friday night... needs sorting

This is awful never get order correct items missing and customer service poor! Would give this branch a miss

Not sure what had happened recently new management or what but this is now the second delivery we have had that has been hot and fresh well done and keep it up!

Like most KFC’s this one is fine. Quick friendly service, food hot and the order was correct. Can’t fault it.

I ordered from KFC and when my delivery came to my house, part of my order was missing. Upon calling the restaurant to see, the “manager” as he called himself, spoke so disrespectfully and rude towards me when I told him that the service was awful and the order was missing two items. He then told me that Uber eats was to fault, there was no drivers to deliver the rest of my order and demanded me to contact Uber eats. I told him, Uber eats aren’t to be blamed when the order was missing two items and that was the restaurant fault. I asked him if I could have a part refund on the items not in the order received or For my order missing to be delivered later on that night. He got rude once more, than told me to come and collect the items missing the next day (the night after.) I told him, that is awfully unfair to make my fiancé travel to KFC the night after to collect items missing from my delivery when I ordered my delivery on the night, I should get all the items I paid for. Not only did he refuse to send the rest of my items to my door, he refused to pay some of my money back for the missing items. He also got very rude to me and I am so upset of the rudeness and the disrespect given to the man that called himself the manager.

Ordered a meal plus hot wings after an exhausting visit to the hospital. Got home (20mins away) to find the 8 hot wings missing. When we tried to ring to get a refund, nobody would answer the damn phone.VERY disappointing. We thought this place had improved after being taken over from the truly shocking place it used to be, but clearly not.

The bucket for 1 was filling: 1 chicken breast, 1-leg, 2 wings, 2 thighs. I added 2 spicy boneless fillets, it was served with chunky skin- on fries, plus a Diet Coke. It was a good ( pick-me-up) on the way home from the Midlands. A little pricy at £9.50 but then again all services off motorways charge a premium as most diners really need the meal. It was tasty, served hot. Easy to order from the self- service terminal , only waited 3-minutes:an efficient service. Serving staff have no pleasantries to offer, they looked tired and bored-room for improvement there...

This has got to be the worst kfc in the UK half my order missed and soggy fatty chicken and half cooked first kfc I've put in the bin avoid the place.

Not one for being a fan of mass produced takeway myself, our 11 year old daughter decided this is what she wanted on her birthday. Place was busy but just about coping and although there was a bit of a wait (only due to the number of people ordering) the food arrived back home piping hot. What else can be said about a KFC takeaway?? We had the party bucket that was shared between 4 adults and 2 children, plenty to go round and even left a couple of pieces and sides.

Good as usual for KFC ok. But if you register on the government website saying your going to give discount, give it. I bought a 6 piece bucket, usual price £10.99, last night was a Tuesday 11/8 no discount still £10.99. It appears they have registered its on the government website. KFC Buckingham Rd Bicester is registered, but no discount. Notice on window states they won't give discount for this scheme. So beware. Don't promise the kids of you can't afford to pay the regular price.

Awful experience with dreadful staff. Arrived half an hour before closing time to see all the staff chatting behind the closed door .. aggressive and rude gestures when I asked if they were open . This lot need dismissal

The Chicken wings are so dry there’s no chicken left on it and the chips are cold I got so angry just threw it all away. I’ve been here before same issue and did mention it to them and they did it again to me. Very sad guys KFC is not like this..Now I go to Oxford

Worst kfc I’ve ever been to...The chips we’re soggy and cold, the chicken was dry like it had been left under the hot light for two days and to top it all off the member of staff was rude! definitely wouldn’t go back there again.

Frequently buy food from here it's neither outstanding or bad it's exactly what you would expect from a KFC, the car park can get buys at peak times which can be a bit of a pain

Absolutely appalling service, sign in window stated KFC closed at 8 o’clock, but it closed at 19:30. Staff were not bothered about my order and didn’t really understand the questions I asked. Will this meal feed 7 people? I wanted a ten piece bucket, but there was no chicken being fried. So in the end I ordered a boneless bucket. I was also given cold pop corn chicken, which I had to beg to be exchanged. I got home and realised that the rice was missing from my order as well. I tried to call the shop at 19:50, but there was no answer. I live about 10 minutes away, but I still drove back to the shop anyway. The shop was closed, and I spoke to the manager, who was very unhelpful, and basically blamed me instead of his incompetent staff for getting my order wrong.

Fast effective service. Interactive screens made it fun for littles. Manager was so lovely and provided a great service.

Was looking forward to a nice KFC after a hard week at work. Paid £14.99 for a 10 piece bargain bucket that contained mainly small legs and looked as if it was what was leftovers at the end of a day (was 4.30pm). Could have got more of a meal in Pound land....Was also under the impression that NHS workers would get a bit of discount..."WRONG"....A discount may have made me feel a little better but it was not the case...Will not be returning and do NOT recommend !!!.

Avoid. Missing several items from my order. Food would have been cold by the time I returned to store. Zero customer service. Didn't answer phone when called repeatedly.

Lovely hot chicken, fries and gravy. Mash very watery and not very nice, service was not the best the person at the till looked like he hated his job/ life but all in all it was good.

Stopped to get some food obviously, I asked for new vegan burger she thought I was stupid and asked another lady who also thought, well she said we only do chicken.

Watch out if the middle aged lady serves you . She gives you change with the receipt on top . Only when you've left the store do you realise she's short changed you . She's conned me twice . Awful little person .

It was towards closing time so I suppose I got the dribs and drabs. Felt ill immediately after and now suffering with sickness and diarrhoea. Will call tomorrow and let them know as no one picking up the phone.

The worst KFC ever. Dried chicken burnt out wings, Chips that have not been peeled with skin and salty Chicken. The worst ever. I love my KFC but this was the worst. KFC head office you need sort this out.

The food is (usually) always the same I like KFC usually and its often nicer than more expensive pub food.. This KFC offers KFC food that's the same as any others.. I almost feel bad rating average but its the same as all kfcs.. If you want a KFC woot... You found your place.. Would I travel from Banbury or alysebury to eat here... Well no.. That would be stupid! I'd use the local KFC

Visited this KFC about a week ago and unless the ownership, staffing level, customer focus and quality of food changes, I'll never, ever go back. Whilst the staff weren't the most friendly or attentive I've met, I think the owner of this franchise deserves the most severe criticism, because he or she is clearly more concerned with cutting costs and maximising profits, than providing the kind of service and fast food the KFC brand is renowned for. After picking up my son from Bicester Village, we were both hungry and craving some chicken, so decided on a KFC. I would imagine that any Saturday night would typically be a busy night for the KFC in Bicester, so you would think they would have a suitable number of staff on, wrong!! Only one person taking orders, another just faffing about and one person seemingly doing all the cooking. We should have walked out when we saw how long queue was, but we thought, this being a KFC, the food would be served quickly, so we'd get ours reasonably quickly too; two wrongs never, ever make a right!! 35 minutes later we finally got our food, fast food this is not, but worse still, the food was not only cold, but tasteless too. It was that bad, I really don't think I could have tasted the difference between the packaging and the food itself. I still can't figure out whether the chef was superhumanly quick and the serving staff subhumanly slow or whether the food was hanging around for hours, but if the latter is true, that's not, as far as I am aware, a good thing where chicken is the main ingredient. All I can add is that if KFC have their own inspectors like Macdonalds do, this branch must be in some kind of Bermuda Triangle!

i went there at lunchtime got 3 piece meal - the chicken was overcooked and very very dry in fact inedible as if it was reheated from previous day - needless to say i wont be going back there

Très bon accueil et service rapide pour ce KFC qui a eu la patience de répondre à nos questions avec le sourire. Un petit clin d'oeil à la jeune fille qui nous a dit au revoir en français. Ne pas hésiter, pour nous la qualité de la viande était au rdv. Rien à redire. Les frites sont même meilleures qu'aux KFC français.

Terrible kfc, started with staff dropping the food, which was fine and they offered to replace. Got home and realised that the orders were all wrong, missing chicken, sides and the driest most pitiful excuses for burgers I’ve seen. These were mostly bread with soggy lettuce and cremated, shrivelled bits of chicken lost into the middle somewhere. Awful. Don’t bother with them.

We got food from here on Friday. The service was poor and the food was terrible. We had 8 piece boneless dipping box with gravy. The chicken was dry and lukewarm that includes the popcorn chicken. the chips were cold and the gravy had been watered down to make a portion and they gave us corn on the cob due to not having enough gravy and they were so over cooked you couldn’t eat them. This is by far the worst branch we’ve ever been to.

Kfc has a reputation worldwide for chicken. We ahve eaten many excellent measl at KFC's in America and the UK. This one did not come up to standard. The chicken wass lukewarm, fries were cold and tough, service was slapdash and not particularly friendly. I would not return
