KFC in Wakefield

It was dirty tables full of rubbish bins over full Food wasn't nice over cooked Colsaw tasted horrible Chips had way to much spice or what ever it had on them wasn't not nice at all Toilets was really smelly no toilet roll or soap Staff just standing around behind counter talking Didn't eat food what a waste of money Won't be going back at all

Great food the best KFC I've had in years all fresh really friendly staff not a bad thing to say about our visit .

Spent £40 for 4vof us to eat (2 kids, 2 adults) waited ages for wings in tower box meal and still didn't receive them. My regular tower burger only had the smallest chicken piece and the whole burger was covered in Ketchup. Can't afford to go back again, which is a shame as its one place the whole family like to eat

Terrible service, first no one spoke to me on the drive through so I should have known to leave then!! I ordered my food at the pay window and parked up, I sat for 20 mins before grabbing my receipt and heading in to find my food order. I was then ignored for another 10 minutes before shouting excuse me to one of the colleagues. I told her I had been waiting over half an hour and I wanted a refund as it was an absolute joke having to wait that long for fast food. She then turned to her colleague and spoke to him ‘do this order now’ and said nothing more to me. I shouted her again and said ‘I don’t want my order I want a refund’ then soon after the manager appeared and gave me refund. No organisation and slack staff. AVOID

Attended to store with my partner and 2 young children. Staff were rude and obnoxious. Staff were complaining to each other about the customers and Deliveroo drivers who were also ignorant and expecting to be served straight away. I asked for tomato ketchup and the girl behind the counter rolled her eyes then dumped a handful of sauce in my hand as though it was too much trouble. If staff are complaining about it being busy when it isn’t god help them if they got busy. Service was shocking and I will not be visiting this KFC again.

no clean tables even though we were the only customer floor was covered in food and one customer had to return twice because they got his order wrong twice so he stood and told them item by item till they got it right lazy incompetent staff dont go and spend your hard earned cash to be ripped off and risk food poisoning or covid

Truly awful, wanted to treat my family on my way home from work this evening so i called into the denby dale road branch drive through. Never again! They missed popcorn chicken off as well as the gravy. I asked for only thighs or legs as we dont like the breast meat (to dry for us) but got breast pieces which were very overcooked and had to be thrown away. £23 in the bin. Do not use this branch.

This Restaurant runs a very lazy service staff not interested in customer service at all food cold and usually wrong never any forks or condiments in the bag 90% of the time got to go back in to complain totally unacceptable probably one of the worst restaurants in the area in my view

Anyone who uses KFC knows that consistency is not its strong point. This outlet is absolutely abysmal. I went via the Drive-Thru Made the order, drove to the Pay window. There was a queue of course. I paid for my food and the girl said, "Can you move along, please." Quite where I was supposed to move to with a car in front of me I had no idea? Eventually got to the service window where you pick up your food and noticed that there were about six members of staff, four of whom were just standing about leaning on the equipment whilst the one girl prepared the orders and the one in the window passed it to you. Were this place being run by anyone with a bloody clue how to run it, then I wouldn't have had to sit in the queue for ten minutes. So...drove off to a quiet lay-by to eat my nosh. It was dry and I have seen more chips on a new Rolls Royce. But what really really really did my head in was there was no salt, no wipes and no tissues.....I mean, how hard could it be? Absolute rubbish and I will never go there again - and neither should you.

We always tend to use the KFC over other local drive thru’s, not only because we find the food tastier but the service that Teresa provides is amazing! She is so friendly and polite and always so chatty! She is an asset to the company and deserves to be recognised. Thank you again Teresa.

Getting a bit tired of Wakefield KFC... There always seems to be something missing... Today it was my chips... They're a bit slap dash.. And no serviettes yet again

Load of rubbish was delivered. Disgusting fillet burger and chicken and chips which was burnt. Don’t bother.

They opened for delivery today so I ordered via just eat. I paid 18 pounds for 3 small chicken fillets, portion of chips, chicken fillet burger meal and an extra drink. I also paid extra for full sugar Pepsi. They sent 2 cans of Pepsi Max and the portions of food were ridiculous. Burger bun burnt. Will never order from kfc online again. Kids were gutted

Ordered a chicken burger & a mighty four. Got given a mighty four & gravy. Since when does chicken burger sound like gravy!! Very rude staff, appalling service. Definitely won’t be going here again.

Shocking, the food was cold, the customer serice is appalling and I asked the member of staff how to use the KFC app, he didnt know!!!!!!!!

Have been visiting this KFC pretty much once a week for the last 2.5 years and over the past few months service has gotten really bad. I can't remember if I've EVER had wipes put in my bag but I use the drive-thru and eat at home so that's no biggie. The problem is that they have gotten my order wrong more times than right lately, I go in the evening on my way home from work and it's not even remotely busy so there's no excuses. Once or twice I can pass for mistakes but this is just incompetence. Oh, and the chicken is usually sopping wet with grease....I'll be stopping off at a different KFC from now on.

Didn’t have several items on the menu. When finally managed to order something was tasteless. The seating areas were not well cleaned. When mentioned the issues to them they were standoffish and not interested.

I rarely give a bad review but I have to say that the restaurant was busy but it was very dirty. Although busy the food wasn’t hot. Personally I would not go again, but this may have been a bad day.

Very poor service always running out and things always have to ask for condiments and end up having to go back in very hit and miss avoid this kfc if you want good service wont be going back .

NOT EVEN WORTH THE ONE STAR!!! The staff are rude, they never ever ever get your order right. I am sick of paying for food and not getting it. How hard can it be to read an order on a screen and bag it up? The staff are potatoes. You pay for large, you don’t get it and have to argue for what you have paid for. KFC seriously need to sort their staffing out, especially the dark haired young lad who works at this store, his attitude is a joke I don’t even know how he has a job. The chips were rank, the gravy were rank, service was rank, it’s a hole round rank experience.

Visited tonight, disgusting service, got our order wrong, told them and was spoke to very rudely! They corrected our boneless banquets after giving us 2 small rather than 1 large! Then only gave us one wrap, asked the man about it he said there was two in the bag, I told him there was only one, he told me the other was under the other food. So I drove home to find only one wrap in the bag. My seven year old, who is severely autistic kicked up a huge fuss and got into a state because his food wasn’t there. Which resulted in him having cocopops for his tea as he wouldn’t eat anything else!!!!The manners and customer service was shocking! We definitely won’t be returning

Visited today and made two separate orders, both in which were wrong! Confronted by a rude member of staff (made to feel very small in front of other customers!) after asking about my wrap that I couldn’t see in my bag and him stating it was under a box meal.. got home and not there! Staff member a youngish, small build, brown haired male wearing a black top (8pm 12.03.19!) Incredibly slow, waiting over 15 minutes for my food (to be wrong), rude staff members, disgusting customer service skills. Overall really poor service, very unhappy and will not be revisiting!

The fries have been changed , I now have to go to kfc for their chicken but go to either McDonald's or Burger King to get the fries, the fries are disgusting why change is the cost

Been here before was ok but now no good. The staff ignore customers and prefer to chat to each other. Even the drive through comes to a stop without any reason and no cars Queuing in front. Give this one a wide birth there needs to be a management change here !!!! Shocking.

Turn up at around 7.45pm on a Sunday evening, four staff at the counter just chatting. Placed our order no problem then tried to find a tidy/clean table but no joy. We decided to sit at the table with the least chips underneath and gravy on it. We then wiped the table ourselves and eat our food. Couldn't put our rubbish in the bins as they were already overflowing so just stacked our trays on the top. The bins outside were overflowing too and you could sense the Rats would be having a nice supper.

First let's be clear I love KFC now and again we enjoy the meals but the last 3 times I have ordered, paid and brought the meals home only to find on all 3 occasions found something that I have paid for missing. Tonight my 3 piece meal paid for only received 2, previously chips missing and before that's a side missing.

They always get my order wrong when I’m at the drive thru. Rude unfriendly staff. Don’t go here!!!!!

Disscussing behaviour from some of the staff. Wouldn’t visit again. Went through drive thru served by Tom very patient with my child who as difficulties. Then the female shamile was rude!!!

The past two times a have had to complained first time the food was not done and today 9/9/18 there was two fly's in my drink doing backstroke.

The first impression was of a clean restaurant which was quite quiet at the time. We were served immediately by a friendly young lady and our order of two meals was supplied promptly and piping hot. We had requested a breast piece of chicken with one meal and a rib piece with the other. We were actually served breast pieces with both. It was not a huge issue to us so we did not complain.

I've now been here 6 times as its local.... don't think I will be again.... 6 visits 6 times food not cleared away.... and staff available to do it.... they are also serving greasy chicken but 6 times when I asked about wet wipes to wipe my hands they hav ent had any....I'm sure as part of th franchise they should provide... today I've been told there is a shortage

i have used this place since it was built and its beyond a joke now staff can be rude and also make you wait while gabbing with there mates instead off working got food today it was disgusting tasted a bit funny and also the pop situation when you buy a bargin bucket it comes wth sides and a bottle of pop but if you want pop with sugar in not the zero crap you have to pay extra to me thats wrong if its in with the price and if you dont like zero pop and tell them they still charge you the same price thats wrong they should take the price of the bottle of your bill if you dont like or want the pop but the company dont care as i have fetched this up with there head office

I use this takeaway fairly regularly and in the past I would have given it a much lower score as you often came away with items missing when using the drive through. But I have to say that recently the service has improved and the last three or four visits have gone without a hitch. Staff also seem interested in getting your order right.

Service was fine. Food expensive and disappointing. Chips totally tasteless. Haven’t had KFC for years. It will be years again- if ever.

I have eaten in at this KFC several times and it has been good so WHY when you get a drive thru do you get less chips (cold) and scratty bits of chicken. The worst is I picked up the take away drove 10 minutes to work to find the extra hot wings I ordered were not in the bag. Can't go back due to work. Forget the drive thru go to the counter!!

The gravy they make is ment to be changed several times a day but instead they scratch the date off and re-date it. I am going to let Sarah know who is the top dog at the place they think they can get away with it well I ain't stopping till the gravy is changed when it runs out of time.

Used the drive through as we were staying at a hotel nearby. Fast service polite staff no complaints it is what it is

Very poor no customers but kept waiting at speaker over10 mins ti order ,food all hard and verging on cold manager James only a youngster himself with no customer service experiance with a young girl seving constantly giggling asked for lattes got luke warm strong coffee avoid at all costs

Normally KFC is pleasing but this particular fast food outlet is nothing but a slow food outlet. The staff have few manners, the food is rubbish. We called last week just for 4 icecreams and it took 17 MINUTES from order for them to be supplied and 2 of them were only half filled! Come on KFC sort your staff and service out!!

To say this is a fast food outlet i think it is pretty good.After all the fiasco of the KFC having no chicken issue i think this place has improved,or is that just me thinking it has !

Never had so many mistakes made with such easy food. Called a few month ago and none of he order was right, it was also cold, got told we could have a code for a discount next time, however when we used the code the order was wrong once again, when phoned up all they could say was sorry about that. Went today through the drive thru, got told that thy couldn’t do wraps as there were no wraps and couldn’t have burgers because there were no burger buns! There were also no hash browns, no sauces left. Food was cold and the women on the counter took so long taking the order we were sat there for ages. There is no management there at all, unorganised and stupid. KFC is 100% not fast food!!!!

For the first time, I went to this KFC branch and the staff were unhelpful. Actually uninterested is more to the point.

Got my two kids meals from drive thru asked for beans instead of fries - got home been given fries - phoned up was told could drive all way back for replacements or give me a code for replacements for another time - so left my kids with only a small popcorn chicken and a yoghurt for there tea. They couldnt deliver even though they do with just eat because i hadnt ordered via just eat.

Just like any other KFC's however I have had some problems with this one. The food cold and not up to standard. Had to email their management once and they did send vouchers and sort the matter out so worth a try again

Visited here for the first time tonight. Not busy at all quite a few staff behind counter but quite a few tables not cleared. Went to disabled loo/baby changing what a state.... nobody had cleaned or inspected in ages. Will NEVER go again. Didn't order food just left.

Staff here can never sort out a problem. Quite bad actually. But despite this, the food is consistently nice too.😋🍗 But the staff need sorting out!

Every single time i call here always problems. There so slow and thick its unreal!!! Think KFC really need to check there staff out. Customer service is non existent! Called today at about 3.30 think there was about 3 people on and one staff must of just finished. The staff serving was more botherd about haveing a conversation with the staff that just finished her shift rather than serving! I went to the toilet the toilet roll was empty so i informed the staff an they literally just stood and looked gormless at me like i spoke a different language again i repeated theres no toilet roll in the lady's toilet!!! The young girl behinds the counter finally answerd and said ill sort it after i serve u. They served me my meal with hard chips! There was no sugar for my latte. No apalogy just "there's no sugar left!!" So rude! Any way got my food an left. I sat in the car for ten minutes an not one person went and filled the toilet up with toilet roll. Totally lack of customer service very rude will not call bk to this KFC again!
