Our first KFC since our trip to Bulwell in July. I really meant to last longer but I like KFC. It was a delivery. Delivery service was reasonably quick, order was accurate and food was good. This is what I would expect from KFC at Mapperley. Just a shame the brand was so badly let down by our visit to Bulwell.

Ordered the party bucket all peices of chicken looked burnt and crispy the chicken flesh was dried up like it had been standing on hot plates too long is there no quality checks on what is going out I had just finished a 10 hour shift treating ourselves to kfc then driving back home get changed and settled down too tuck in to that what a waste of £30 disgusting not taste or flavour burnt and dry and was to tired after a hard day to jump back in car to take it back so in the bin it went we're kfc should of done that themselves and gave us fresh cooked chicken which our £30 deserved and every other customer absolutely disappointed and disgusted

Every time I come in the staff completely Ignore you. Customer service is so poor. Stood waiting at the till to be served and every one of the staff looked at me and turn around then carried on talking to each other which I felt was really rude.

I ordered food via Just Eat and I was given a delivery time of 18:20 on 13/11/2020. The delivery time kept getting adjusted up until 20:07 and then my order was updated as delivered. I never even received my order and during this time I called the restaurant; I was either hung up or told various lies about it being on its way and delivered within 20-30min and this was at 19:26. The staff were very unhelpful and kept making excuses and I stayed up until 22:30 (over 4 hours late and never received the food I paid for. It is a disgrace and I do not understand how this place is still open and I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened to more customers on the same day. I’m shocked how area management hasn’t been involved considering the amount of negative reviews that this place has received on various sites.

El nuevo personal es educado y lo hace mejor con lo que puede. El gerente es un ser humano desagradable que siempre piensa que tiene razón y no sabe nada sobre el servicio al cliente.Para ahorrar dinero, nunca se le da su comida en el embalaje correcto de KFC y siempre tiene que pedir pañuelos y toallitas, etc. Esta franquicia es la más lenta que he conocido y no es inusual esperar 20 minutos en el camino. Este KFC es bastante nuevo y cuando se abrió por primera vez fue encantador (buen servicio al cliente, limpio, excelente comida). En mi última visita, pensé que había ido cuesta abajo: el servicio era lento y el restaurante estaba sucio. No estaba ocupado, así que no había excusas para la basura y la comida en el piso y en varias mesas, el lugar era un desastre inaceptable. La comida no llegó a la norma ya que el pollo estaba muy grasiento hasta el punto en que recogí un muslo de pollo y cuando lo mordí goteaba aceite / grasa, no puedo recomendar este lugar.

Apareció mientras pasaba al abeto un bocado rápido. Cuando conseguí mi hamburguesa de filete, busqué un lugar donde sentarme. Había tres establos tomados, el resto eran gratis pero sucios, las sobras de las bebidas de la mesa derramadas en el asiento. Basura en el suelo, y la papelera se estaba desbordando. Luego, para colmo, mi pan se quemó por dentro. No volveré a visitar de nuevo.

We went to this KFC at 1800 hours last night, my son waited inside for around 17 mins. The staff never spoke to him, never apologised for not serving him, they ignored him. There were two others in front of him and the same happened to them. Staff were busy dealing with drive thru. They should have enough staff on to deal with both. Absolute shocking service. We came away empty handed and went elsewhere. Staff should have at least said “ I’m sorry to keep you waiting, we will be with you shortly” but nothing.

I didn’t really have a great experience here to be fair when it comes to the food but I can However say that I did meet a really polite young mixed origin guy I’m not sure of his name but he had a pony tail he absolutely made sure I didn’t leave the store unless I was satisfied he definitely, went out of his way for me and my children, he stayed very professional while by the looks of things was doing majority of the work due to new staff members. Also a lady called kat who I see very regularly she was good on till service . So that is the only reason I have gave 4* due to the customer service I received Many Thanks. From me and my children

Don’t bother wasting your time, managers are seen standing around in the back (this is the STORE MANAGER) i’ve been told, playing games on their phones, while staff have no clue what they’re doing. They never have half the menu, krushems have become extinct at this branch, can’t remeber the last time the machine was working. Absolutem waste of time!!!

Went through the drive through and was stuck in what can only be described as a soul destroying hour of completely unnecessary waiting. Everyone was more frustrated than everyone else. Finally got to the window where you collect your food and had to wait another 15 mins for them to actually hand over anything and when they did I wish they hadn’t bothered! Chips were cold, Pepsi overfilled so just split all over already cold food. Dirty Louisiana burger was Ice cold. As in the cheese hadn’t even melted. Freezing. My partner took it back in only to be shrugged at and told ‘the manager wasn’t in’. Erm it’s not the manager I want it’s a hot burger! Waited a further 15 minutes in the car park choking down cold fries dipped in cold gravy while world war 3 broke out in the car park of hangry customers. They brought out another cold burger! Gave up and went home for a stiff drink! Pathetic service I don’t know how they’re open.

Words cannot describe how bad this kfc store is but I will attempt to. Every single time I go I am either disappointed or just infuriated. They constantly run out of chicken/wraps or dips. The service is always extremely slow. They never park cars if their food isn't ready, so normally you will wait 10 minutes to get to window 1 to order. Maybe 10 minutes later you will arrive at the next window and maybe wait another 5 minutes for your food. There's no point in complaining because honestly the staff don't care. If you look on trip advisor you can see how bad the reviews are. In this day it's extremely rare to get service this poor but to get it consistently this poor is almost like they are doing it on purpose. Maybe Ronald McDonald is secretly the franchise owner and is trying to bring kfc down from the inside?

Everytime we go here and we go maybe every few months, it's always got problems. It's not long opened aswell. In the past we've had to wait 30 minutes for cold food as the man taking our order had to also take payments and sort the order out. They always seem to struggle with staff and need more on. They've ran out of chicken twice and this is before everything that happened on the news. Someone seriously needs to sort this place out.

I visited here and wasn’t impressed due to the fact I had ordered the southern bites boneless feast 12 pieces the lady had told me at the drive through as I was ordering they was no bites no drinks apart from tap water no beans no corn on a cob and no pop corn chicken and offered me to have extra fries I asked if I could change it for more chicken as you already get 4 lots of fries with the meal. I then arrived home with my take away food to find I had no extra chicken only 3 lots of fries instead of 4 lots and 3 pots of gravy I would not advise anyone to visit this kfc as it’s the worst one I have ever visited.

this place smells of old cooking fat from the car park ! Once persuaded by kids to go- they had run out of what we wanted! what they did have was very greasy. Concerned about the health of the local population- you can certainly get a lot of fried chicken and stuff for your money - Not my favourit- even the kids have swtiched to indian takeaway.

Every single time I have been here they have either taken forever to get me my order even when the place has been empty, messed up and given me the wrong items or both. On top of this, the staff have been rude and displayed a disgraceful attitude. Absolute clowns working here. Look at these reviews on tripadvisor. Terrible! I got trapped in the drive thru on Saturday for 25 minutes @ 7.30. Seemingly nobody taking orders as they were short staffed. The drive thru convoy (7 or 8 cars) all ended up reversing out of there. KFC should be ashamed of this branch - badly managed and dis-organised offering terrible service and terrible food. Avoid this KFC, tell your friends

Not only that, I go in tonight to see if they can redeem themselves and they completely failed. They left me should at the counter, completely ignored me, never said, I will be with you in a moment? Nothing then a guy walks in after me, and after a few minutes of them ignoring both of us, then one girl comes up ignores me and serves him.... so I was that angry, I just said " I take it you don't want my money and left... I will never go to this place again, ever...not only that they close off half the restaurant well before closing so they can all go home early? The restaurant is a joke, the management is a joke, and the staff are a joke because the management are obviously not training them up.

40 minutes for a megabox. Get home No gravy after an exhausting 13 hour shift this would be enough to bring me to tears. Feel sorry for the staff who have to work in such stressful environment. Thought I would treat myself to a mighty bucket after a long day at work, pulled into the drive through and gave my order only for the staff member to say they had ran out of chicken strips. That was fine as I understand things run out from time to time, when I asked if they could be swapped for a alternative her response was "no it's a set menu and we cannot change it" this left me with no real alternative then to leave and drive off in disgust as the staff member offered me options and stood there looking perplexed. Why for a big chain like KFC changing 2 items in the meal (through no fault of my own) was such a big deal I do not know, lack of customer service and care.

On the way back from the cinema I 'treated' my son to a kids chicken nugget meal. Initially we parked in the long drive through queue, this was around 9pm on a Saturday evening. Realising it wasn't moving I backed out, parked up and went inside. The restaurant seems to be an accepted hang out for local chavs and their out of control kids, who were running around inside playing tag, and generally making a nuisance of themselves to anyone eating inside. Aside from this the first thing that struck me was how filthy the place was... rubbish all over the floors and the tables and no one seemingly interested in clearing it up. I had a similar experience a few months back in the Daleside Rd KFC and vowed to never go back. The place is staffed by the usual gang of minimum waged and disinterested teenagers, wishing they were somewhere else. The zombified girl who took my order was rude with zero customer service skills. When I received my sons meal we got it home to find that the coke, which incredibly had been placed in the same box as the food had saturated the box and the food, the chips were ringing wet and went in the bin and only the nuggets could be recovered. Generally speaking, guess what happens when you place an ice cold cup of coke next to a small bag of hot chips or nuggets??? Yes, they soon cool off, but especially when the coke has been carelessly placed in the box so it saturates all the food! A truly terrible experience and in fact I won't ever be going back to any KFC but you should avoid this one in particular.

Visited this KFC on the way home for a bite to eat but found it untidy this time. We had to have one of the items replaced as it was cold and didn't seem fresh. Unfortunately they forgot about this and continued to serve until the queue had gone down. I went to remind them and found it had been sitting waiting - they said they would do another one. So by now I had finished my drink and my other half had eaten their meal some time ago. It eventually came but really wasn't in the mood and it was bland and tasteless.

We have visited this KFC twice and on both occasions the staff have been slow and appear to lack any form of management. During our last visit we had to wait 15 minutes for 2 of the Dirty Louisiana's, once eventually served and there was no coleslaw. It did not help that whilst we were there drivers were pipping and shouting at the staff as they were not happy about the back log at the drive thru - dreadful atmosphere. The tables were dirty and we did not stop long! Very disappointing.

I went to the Burger King drive-through on Castle Boulevard in Nottingham, and after waiting for several minutes at the designated spot with no response, I drove ahead to check if the drive-through was open at all. They had left a metal door open, which partially obstructed the already tight road, and ended up scratching my car. I got out to assess the damage, and a member of staff came out shortly afterwards. I explained calmly, saying literally these words and nothing more: "I just scratched my car against the door; it’s a bit dangerous here." She immediately started getting annoyed and replying “The door was open all day and no one hit it; you could have avoided it by driving more on the side; or you could just have asked me to close it; it’s not our responsibility if you hit it…" when I finally managed to put a word through, I said “I’m not asking for compensation, just to maybe put a warning sign for the next ones or something, since it’s so narrow here?" She said, "OK," and disappeared. Tell me if this is good customer service.
