Ordered through JustEat and received possibly the worst service ever (no fault of the delivery partner) missing items from the order and tried to contact the restaurant via phone, the line was engaged for over half an hour and when the call was finally taken by the restaurant I was met with complete hostility from the staff who were less than enthused to deal with the problem. Ordering through a third party does not by default make the restaurant not liable for not fulfilling an order and to be told by a member of staff on site that "its not our problem and there's nothing I can do about it" because it's a just eat issue is completely abhorrent. Just eat are a delivery partner, they don't come into the site, jump on the line and cook food, they collect what should be a complete order which is already bagged and sealed supposedly with the correct items inside. A busy lunch service is expected, delays and mistakes are likely to happen, such is life. What isn't expected is the complete disregard and poor attitude from staff on site when faced with an easily fixable mistake, to be told that there is nothing that can be done about it is absolutely disgusting and staff members need to be trained in A) customer service and B) how to handle complaints in a proactive and polite manner. Managers at this site should be ashamed of their staff and invest some time in the hiring/training process.

Would give no stars if I could, paid £25 for 2 banquets delivered, I got a tiny box of popcorn chicken and a dip, Uber blamed the store, the store blamed Uber, staff not interested in sorting it out, AVOID!!!

Well what can I say!, first of all over £20 for two burger meals & sides said that I would never eat from here again after my last experience but was in the area hungry so decided to give it another go putting last visit down to it being a one off, how wrong I was food was absolutely s&%£# and that's putting it mildly was thrown together and tasted so bland and not fresh it's nothing like the KFC of old. Girlfriend was so mortified by her burger (zinger) that it was regurgitated and a trip back into the store was in order when she said she wanted to complain some zit faced kid was sent to front of house to resolve the issue but that was never going to wash with medusa who by this point was boiling with anger and demanded an audience with the manager who was hiding in the back after some heated words she was given a refund for her meal with reservations from said manager who said she had eaten 3/4 of her meal, so when she came back and told me what had been said I promptly packed up the rest of my s@#£ parcel and went back inside myself threw it over tho counter informing all that were within an earshot that here is the other missing 3/4 portion of the crap offering, as you can imagine everyone in the store had a little chuckle as I made my exit, and now I will say never again

The food was inedible. Chicken strips were extremely(!) salty and dry. Still burning my throat as I made a mistake and ate one. Popcorn chicken was cold and soggy. Never again.

Ordered a box meal and 2 kids meals the kids meals were missing there corn and also drinks didn’t realise till got home and phone just ringing out constantly children wasn’t happy at all never had a good experience at this KFC only went as my daughter was poorly and asked for it not impressed at all it’s a joke wouod t mind if they messed my meal up but a 5 and 4 yr olds dumb… they are

I wouldn't usually bother to leave a review for fast food, but felt compelled as the things we order are never right. I put previous times down to one off errors, but now its becoming the norm, and will probably be the last time we order. Missing drink, gravy, rice and even chicken mysteriously dissapears. Please get the staff to get their act together and put the right items in the bags, like a few people on here mention, its not hard to do. Maybe try and distinguish the Zinger Burgers from the regular burgers too. On arrival both have the same things on them including Hash Browns, and the packaging is identical. I don't want to have to have tasting sessions just to figure out which is which. Slow down, and take your time KFC Middleton.

Me, my girlfriend and her parents ordered from here off just eat. We didn’t get any fries at all with any of the meals there was also no chicken poppers in the boneless banquet meal. For £16 we got 6 chicken fillets and 2 cans of coke it’s absolutely f*cking horrendous then to top it all off when we rang the woman who was speaking to us blamed it all on us. We wont be ordering from here again and next time we will be going in person. Do not recommend.

Shift runners can’t do their job, they don’t give their staff their rightful breaks and bully one certain staff member into one job for a whole 12 hours, considering on the router she’s supposed to be on a completely different job

My girlfriend has started having chest problems, struggling to breathe while working. She can’t take her mask off so that’s not helping. She’s telling the shift runner/manager about her problems and she needs to get in touch with the doctors and they arnt letting her leave to go to the doctors. They are just ignoring her while she asks for permission to leave. I have rang them numerous times and they are completely egnoring the phone.

Ordered via the uber app. When delivery arrived some of the order was missing however it had been in the supposedly checked and sealed bag as there were reminance of what was missing in the bag and bucket. I phoned the store to be told there was nothing they could do, in an abrupt manner, telling me to contact uber eats. I asked if he would just send the missing item and he point blank refused. Terrible customer service skills. I believe the item was in the bag and somebody has removed it whether that be the driver or a member of staff it should have been rectified. Also the food was overcooked and cold. Never again.

Think tonight may have been our last visit to this KFC..Yet again met with unhelpful staff, who are rude and very un-interested in dealing with all aspects of your order - unless it's an Uber order.. (More on this later..)I was rudely directed to use the self service machine, but when I tried I found that it was slow, and half the options were missing such as asking for a plain fillet burger. It also refused to accept my "Loyalty" card number When I went back to order there, I was met with a rude member of staff who grunted that there was a limited menu - which I was well aware of. I politely told her it had no options for plain burgers and wasn't accepting my card, etcWhen she tilled up the order, she didn't appear to know what she was doing, missed my card, and then didn't know how to enter a voucher code so she called someone to do it for her.Now I had to wait for it as they prioritise Uber Eats orders above anyone who walks in. They have about 5 staff members out front - all doing Uber Eats orders.. If you walk in, you literally have to wait until they are finished doing those, before you start on yours - sometimes it can take 15 minutes just to get served at the till..)When we got home, we found that some of the chicken was dry and the "variety" bucket didn't have a great variety in it..This by far isn't the worst.

The food is fine I suppose, passable, but the fact you have to wait upto half an hour to be served and then being served by miserable staff who look like you're just getting on their nerves is the icing on the cake. Avoid at all costs.

Went in for a take away - after placing my order was told that there was no chicken for 20mins. I asked why so long......." We don't know". The place is a disgrace, the dining area was full of rubbish etc. No one was interested in cleaning up - no napkins etc.

Our local KFC restaurant which opened only a few years ago seems to have declined into a very sad dirty and un clean place for the public to eat? We had food which was only warm and thrown together and decided to leave promptly, I decided to nip to the toilet only once opening the gents door the smell kicked me in the face square on it was unbearable!! And definitely needed more than bleach to sort it out, I don’t think the staff bother cleaning them to be honest, as a family we won’t be visiting again, and the worry is if the toilet is that dirty how clean is the kitchen??

WHY DO I KEEP GIVING IT ANOTHER CHANCE????? Dirty dirty place , full ofof young ones getting out of the rain ( don’t blame them) but swearing at each other very loud and just being young. Took ages to get served and there was only me stood at till and nobody at drive through. There was someone stood there but didn’t even acknowledge me to busy on her phone. The last time I did a review on this place it was because people were on there phone and just not serving seems like it’s something they are allowed to do. AVOID

I was the only drive thru user at the time, girl taking order kept trying to second guess my order, very impatient. At payment the credit card machine was thrust at me and snatched back. Food was pushed at me with a 'here' and my drinks with a 'here you are', no thanks or nice day etc.Food was under average, chips/fries were soggy and few, chicken limp and Zinger, the chicken was hiding scared under a piece of lettuce, pathetic.Coffee was good, but tepid.Go to Bury or Oldham.This is not my first visit to Middleton but it will be the last

I have no idea how these people who work here get simple things so wrong!!!! I wanted a twister wrap(chicken,garlic mayo with lettuce and tomatoes), started to eat it at home and I taste barbecue sauce! I hate barbecue sauce! So total waste of money and food! Even after being told a number of times that I wanted mayo on it, they still get it wrong!!!! They need new and smarter employees, even my 8 year old niece could do a better job! Don't ever go unless you wanna be disappointed!

Again they get the order wrong, wanted chicken on the bone got boneless, ordered 2 gravy got none, went back and got my chicken on the bone was told the gravy was in the bag, it was but only one, no apology no nothing, won't be going back mcyds from now on.

This is the first time in 2 years I have been to KFC, I was disgusted. I visited on Friday evening. The restaurant was untidy and not enough staff. The staff all looked very young, they were not interested in the customers. I ordered a zinger box meal, after a long wait, I got my meal minus one item, they had no corn. The zinger burger was cold and there was only 6 fries in the packet! and the coke was absolutely flat. This is the worst fast food meal I have ever had. Don’t waste your money!

Took us over an hour to order our food from drive through. Nothing fast food about this KFC. May be the slowest fast food I 've been in. The staff who took can't hear a thing we said, I literally had to shout. No apology from the staff for poor service, worst customer service skill. I will not come back!!!

Visited this kfc with my grandson. Placed my order with the young lady she didn’t make eye contact she then went on to get my order sliding it to me across the counter ( still no eye contact) then ran to the corner just past where they do the drinks sat down with her phone laughing and joking with her work mate who was on the drive through also on her phone. THIS KFC IS A JOKE AND ALWAYS DIRTY ALWAYS HAVE TO CLEAN MY OWN TABLE.

You only get 1 star because I can't give you zero, just arrived home from this kfc drive through, will never be going again and recommend everyone and anyone avoid like the plague, tried several times to call to no avail, the phone just rings out. The chicken we have just been served should have been put in the bin for the pigs, not served up for a near £20 wicked variety bucket meal and got chicken that can only be described as plastic crunch and that's my best description of it, dry and overcooked is an understatement. Please manager get in touch and I'll provide my contact detail, then we can have a chat about where your going wrong, your so called chicken pieces just went in the bin... utter disgrace

Came here for a snack on a Thursday night..... It was very quiet... Only 1 other couple in there..... The tables were a mess with leftover rubbish on them and the floor was also full of litter.... When we got our food it was cold.... The chips looked like they had been pre-packed and left out.... and when we complained... The girl behind the counter said "Well lettuce is cold we don't warm it up ????..... When your paying £12 for a bit of chicken & chips you expect it to be warm!!!!!

I think the standard of service is entirely due to the direction of the manager. Most of the staff here are fine and being a newish restaurant its clean and modern and on the same site as the new Aldi. Food is generally on a par with most other KFC's. One point to consider on behalf of the staff is the amount of morons they have to serve here, many of them families, who hopefully don't live at home like they do in here? On every trip you find tables in a mess having the debris of a meal just left scattered, food on the floor and even litter on the pavement outside. If you open a restaurant (or anything else for that matter) in Middleton; be prepared.

I have visited here a few times now and every single time either my order is completely wrong or it's stone cold! As for the staff I can't believe they got the job, they doing have a clue how to work as team and lack the capacity to even cumicat with each other through the customers order. This down to bad training and badly managed!

Always use the drive-thru service here, but I think it's time to accept they're never going to get an order right, so this was the last time. The staff lack any real customer service skills and do not possess the concentration span required of them. Every single order is always wrong in some way or another and today was no exception. To be fair, we know how incompetent they are here and so we really shouldn't have left the carpark without going through the order, but we were pushed for time so we didn't. Arrived home and predictably the order was wrong. Received gravy instead of coleslaw, a piece of chicken was missing from the box meal, and another meal was completely missing. Seriously, invest in some training and be a little more circumspect in recruiting. I'd rather be served by someone listening to me instead of someone having an argument with another colleague.

Saturday morning started splendidly, until I came through the drive through. First of all, I made the ill-judged decision to trust you with my morning breakfast. I paid £6.68 for a double-bacon and egg McMuffin meal with an extra hash brown, to which I received a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal after having to wait 10 minutes in the car park - feeling like another number on their system, rather than an individual customer. To my disappointment, no double bacon and egg McMuffin meal came. TWICE. I have been SHUNNED, HUMILIATED, not only once but twice, and had to WALK from my car to the in store facilities to deal with their mistake. The incompetent staff member clearly does not understand instructions and embarrassed me after laughing at me with colleagues. I have left unsatisfied as your unprofessional staff member decided to give me the wrong order AGAIN. At this point, I was already in my car as I believed and trusted that you would not betray me a third time. I drove off, furious, hungry, and let down. As a human being, forced to live in a cost of living CRISIS, where my hard-earned money is already strained, and used to provide for my children, this was my TREAT, before my 12 hour shift on a Saturday! I know deep down you don't care much about one measly customer, but I am not the only one. 88% of 1 star reviews on TrustPilot also feel betrayed, underwhelmed by your service and staff. I WANT A REFUND. FROM THIS BURNT BUN, PLASTIC SAUSAGE THAT I DID NOT ORDER, HOWEVER your hash browns fill a small hole in my heart. Honestly we expect so much from Mcds but always get let down.
