Kfc in Isle of Wight

Consistantly poor compred to mainland. Food almost always tastes stale and the orders keep missing stuff. It has a very different feel to what I am used to. I can't recommend you come here

Popped in after the cinema, there’s not much to say really, it’s KFC! Just be careful if you park here, the 2 hour limit can be tight if you visit the cinema as well.

Well, it's a KFC. It's exactly the same as every other KFC in the land. BUT, if you're planning on eating there, you'll be reassured that the KFC here is the same as any other KFC anywhere. Juicy chicken meals served in clean and sanitary surroundings by people who manage to look happy to do so. Not much more to add to that is there?

Had just finished work and wanted a takeaway KFC all night. Walked from Sandown to Lake absolutely starving. Got to the doors at 9:30 to be turned away!!! A girl that works there told me that they close sit down at 9pm. I told her that I was previously told it was 10pm and that I only wanted a takeaway. I was told sorry and she shrugged her shoulders. If this is the case then surely they need to change their advertisement. Also a little bit better customer service would be nice! Absolute joke!!!

Food was good we had it inside. Little bit of slow service at counter. Luckily we got there just in time as alot of people complaining about there wait. But good service for us.

This is a recently opened store but as it is a franchise should offer consistent quality at all its stores. I have eaten KFC in many towns around UK and abroad but this was the absolute pits. The chips were horrible soggy and overcooked, the batter on the chicken was far too thick and hence not cooked through and the chicken was only just about cooked enough, in fact we recooked it at home to make it vaguely edible,popcorn chicken was not too bad but the Coleslaw and gravy was OK!! I probably should have taken it back but it had been a long day, which was why we bought the food to save cooking at home. I might be tempted to give it another try in a few months time unless I hear more adverse comments from the locals. Such a shame as we were looking forward to the store opening, hope they can sort it out or I guess it will not stay open for long!
