Burger King in Isle of Wight

I've greatly enjoyed their food for a while now, the food is always hot and ready to eat, the staff are always very friendly and helpful and the drinks are always perfect.

Well this would've been a 4 star but today, it really went down hill. Been ordering here for a few months now, usually been really good, although a bit pricy, however today, wow! Whole new management and staff. Got my order wrong, over 12, times. Yes, over 12 times. The young lad was absolutely useless, and the manager, was like she didn't understand a word of English, i would say an order and she would read back something completely different, then i would correct her and she would read back something completely different again! This happened 12 times! Face to face! I decided on the 13th time that i couldn't be bothered anymore, now that there was a HUGE queue as well. Ended up being double charged for the wrong meal, having points be taken out of my burger king account and not given anything. Was given the wrong drink, and the drink i got given tasted of pure chemicals so had to throw it away, the burger was a complete mess and the chips, i ordered the peppercorn loaded fries, got given a small regular style baggie of chips! So all in all, i spent nearly £15 on a burger i didn't order, a bag of chips that contained all of 5 and a half chips, and a drink i didn't want that tasted of pure chemicals. Never had issues with this burger king before today but if this is how it's going to be now with the new management and staff, i'm never going here again.

What can I say about the place like this...? Just absolutely the worst case scenario food stop..🤷‍♀️

Staff are friendly & food is done quick plus loads of seating. Very clean place aswell. Coffee machine has been out for few weeks now and as we are the older generation we like a hot drink and not cold fizzy drinks. Please can the hot drinks machine be fixed.

Not really happy at all they for get the BBQ in my burger the bun was maybe from last week and my be dropped in the sink and loaded fries 😳😳 really you get more chips from MacDonalds and they are rubbish the chips did not even get 1/2 way up the tub they gave them in ! So bad... I left a bad review last time I was there and had to take away stars 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Best Burger King there is, no other Burger King compares to this place. best food, staff and everything!

Lovely and friendly staff, always going that extra mile to make customers happy. The food is delicious and I would recommend this place to anyone! Would definitely come visit again!!

Could not get to grips with ordering at the touch screen terminal so ordered at the counter. Gentleman there was extremely helpful and gave useful advice and suggestions. Food ordered was delivered quickly and was very tasty. Ample free parking outside for up to three hours. You do not have the problem of paying Isle of Wights extortionate parking fees or have to download any parking app.

It's okay. I miss their curly fries from years ago. 😢

Best BK in the entire UK! Food is always hot and usually less than 5 minutes wait from order to eating food. 20 Vegan Nuggets and best thing of all! Free refills on cup drinks as long as you're in the premises (not sure if anyone is aware of that) but I am. Will always be visiting when I come to the island. A tip: because of the free refills, always ask for a regular drink as it is cheaper and still have the same amount of drink.

Walked in for a takeaway, unfortunately only 3 staff, and took a while to get food, and had nearly finished my shake while my food was prepped. Food was ok once I'd received it. It has been better, but not on this occasion.

We arrived late just before closing time, but they team were very nice, full service. Always great to go to this particular BK.

Excellent Vegetable Royal and Vegetable nuggets. Chips was too salty so they gave new portion straight away. Great service and staff.

Great food.. fast friendly service and 20% off Blue Light discount if you show your card. We had 2 Doritio king boxes with extra cheese chilli bites.. delicious 😋

Expensive poor version of macdonalds

When they get the mobile orders correct, it's excellent. Unfortunately, they tend to get them wrong often.

Service was good and restaurant clean. Burgers are never hot in any site not just here.

Great except nothing gluten free

fast and friendly service, only downside when we went was that they didn’t have their full menu due to technical difficulties. the place was clean and tidy. we decided to dine in but there is also a drive thru.

We used the drive through two burgers and a LARGE? bag of chips. The burgers looked fine. I had the chips at £3.50. We went and complained as we thought we had been given the small bag of chips. The attendant showed us the small and large bag of chips, the difference must have amounted to 1cm bigger. The smallest bag of chips I've ever seen, even if was supposed to have been x-small. Rip off, first and last time. Came to a total £14+

We popped in to the drive through ordered at the screen and then went to pay and pick it up. After a short while our food was ready and I have to say that it was all freshly cooked and hot the chips were delicious. It was good for a quick meal.

The nicest thing about burger king in Newport is it's never very busy compared to its rival chains nearby, it's high ceilings and open air conditioned space is often empty, good for people looking for a quieter environment. Burgers are decent, so too are the milkshakes although you have to order them from the counter as I don't think they are on the app. The sides however are always bad for some reason, maybe that's more of an issue with the chain itself though.

Loved my chicken burger and loaded fries in a clean nice and quiet store. I'm sure it does get busy but I enjoyed the experience.

Food cold, service very slow yet not very busy toilets dirty

Overall the experience here was great. I was greeted with a friendly manner and got to order quickly, the food itself was made very fast but also accurate. I have no complaints about this restaurant and will look to purchase more often from here.

It's probably the best Burger King I have visited (and the only one on the Island). The food comes out consistently good, and the place is always quiet.

Been to a few burger kings in my time and it's usually a rushed affair. Choosing food then ordering and running out of the door to get home in time to watch iggle piggle before bedtime. However we were on holiday so ate in. Compared to othe BKs the staff here were on point, helpful and friendly. The food was hot, well prepared and my whopper didn't fall apart as soon as I looked at it (as often happens). The guy behind the counter even did a checkback to make sure our food was good. Genuinely amazed. Well done your a credit to the franchise and burger king as a whole.

Enjoyed a quick delicious PlantBaked Whopper Burger. Very tasty indeed and large. Clean surrounds and friendly staff.

The place looked closed mid afternoon. Turns out it was just empty. We found out why soon enough. Used the drive thru to order bacon double cheeseburgers at around £5 each. The picture looked good. When we opened the bag what we saw was 2 tiny packages - surprisingly small. Opened them and saw 2 dismally small burgers with the cheese not even melted. The patties must have been cold when they were made otherwise at least the cheese would have melted slightly while they were sitting for a few minutes before we opened them, but no the cheese slices were unmelted and instead provided a sort of sliding surface for the patties to slide around on. Nothing like the picture in terms of size, colour or appeal. Without exception the very worst burger I have ever had the misfortune to purchase and the worst value for money I have ever been ripped off for.. Honestly if your only product is pretty much burgers and this is the best you can do then it's shameful.

Stopped here for snack. Food was good. Service was okay. Drive thru layout is confusing and badly thought out. To get to the drive thru you have to drive against everyone leaving the car park and then wait in a queue for KFC drive thru. Then the collection window is at such a strange angle you even need to risk losing your wing mirror by getting too close or stop so far that they have to throw your food at you.

I always use the BK app for great deals. This restaurant always serves up lovely fresh food with a smile. You couldnt ask for more especailly with great value

Amazing food and polite staff, the restaurant was very clean and not loads of food left on any tables. The food had all the beautiful flavours that you would expect from Burger King and the chips you just don’t want them to end. The drinks have plenty of flavour selection and free refills if you eat in.

Messiest BK ive been in, they need to consider letting someone clean up for half hour or so, as soon as you walk in you're welcomed by food/straw packaging all over the floor aswell as some odd bits of leftover food

Cold burgers, dirty tables, gross! Go up the road and enjoy better quality.

Glad BK is now on the Isle of Wight, but it would be better if they actually weren't frequently out of loads of items (from the already limited menu). Constant issues with the app and kiosks in the restaurant often make ordering a frustrating experience

Best pick up or eat in much hotter food than deliver

These joints can always vary, but I've found this one pretty reliable. I just wish they'd buy a refrigerator so they can chill their soft drinks for the Uber Delivery orders. It's not great getting a Coke at room temperature. Otherwise, it's a fairly decent Burger King.

I wouldn't call the loaded fries loaded. It was rougly a teaspoon of cheese sauce and a tiny amount of bacon. The burger was cold. Total rip off, the worst Burger king I've visited.

I had visited once before and found it OK. This time I was not impressed our meals were cold. I asked for my to be change but my partner ate his . I refuse to eat cold food. Also the eating area was not clean. Food bags left on the seats and the floor was dirty. At the time we went in, there were only 2 tables occupied.

The islands only burger King, service was quick for a Saturday afternoon, although they did have a problem with the tills. They serve frozen coke and Fanta, the coffee was nice and is very cheap only 99p, they use plastic straws, not the stupid paper ones

Sat at the drive through for 15 minutes. Order taken. Told to pull in to a disabled bay and wait for our order. 20 minutes goes by. Went in and asked where our order was, not acceptable etc. Got told by some teenager who didn’t give a damn ‘we are busy’. Well you aren’t mate, maybe by IOW standards but it’s laughable having come from a BK in Oxford last week. 5 cars isn’t busy!! No explanation. No apologies. Oh and the order was wrong as usual. Can’t bear it, I only go as the kids like Burger King but I would go to KFC anytime which is next door.

Had to return to the counter 3 times for items missing from our order. Food was average.

went there today for a quick meal, food tasted nice. i had the bbq double beef burger with cheese to go, i payed for extra bacon and extra cheese, i found out when i got home and started eating it that i didnt get the extras in my burger, it doesnt overly bother me but i still payed for those extras which is a but eh i guess, overall staff were polite so i havent got much to complain about
