Couldn't even put together a zinger tower meal correctly, burger in wrong box..not in box meal box, ketchup instead of zinger sauce, cheapo cheese slices making for a horrid taste halfway through the mouthful, overall piss poor and getting worse.

Shocking experience from rude staff with a horrible attitude. Young lad in there serving me clearly had a problem with me (and all the other customers in there) and spoke to me like I was a massive inconvenience, I’ll make sure I don’t go back and give them my custom again since having people in there clearly annoyed the lad working there so much.

When you turn up for an eat in meal at 8.20pm and told you cannot eat in as they are cleaning ready to close for 10pm .. the place was empty , 2 guys working clearly didn’t want to do anything and made excuse after excuse . Turning away business and with a couldn’t give a monkies attitude .. shocking ..

We entered KFC Burgess Hill at 20:00 to eat in ... It clearly states on the door and website open until 22:00 !! We got told sorry we are closing no eat in allowed. Unbelievable Bad Service and I do hope HEAD OFFICE HEARS ABOUT THIS...

Qued for over 40 mins because not that it was so busy anyway but because of the Deliveroo/Just Eat we’re taking up all the orders first leaving customers like me having to wait!!if they’re going to offer delivery service then they need to sort this out as it obviously clashes with in shop ordering so suckers like us take the back seat having to wait even longer!!!Nice chicken but won’t be a mug queuing again as waste of my precious time thank you !!!!

Collected a 6 piece bucket from kfc burgess hill very disappointed! Chicken was dry and tasteless either been standing around under heat or cooked twice to reheat! What’s happened to kfc used to be lovely tasty and succulent. Will think twice before trying again. Would certainly NOT recommend burgess hill had better from Hayward’s Heath I note 22% reviews are bad so it’s not just me or a one off suggest avoid I will!

Ordered from Uber eats - a really simple order - box Zinger burger meal with 1 piece of chicken, fries, corn on the cob and water. Order arrived with a tower burger. I called up and was told it had to go through Uber despite it being the branch error. Placed the order again, this time as just a zinger burger meal with fries and water, once again it arrived as a tower burger! Terrible, won’t be going there again!

Standing in the que for 19 minutes waiting to place my order, when I finally got close the staff told me to take off my open face motorcycle helmet, what do they think I was going to do wearing a motorcycle helmet?.10 minutes wasting my time waiting in KFC, no reason to not wear a motorcycle helmet where you can see my face clearly, may be they thought I was a confused bank robber in the wrong shop??.

I ordered and paid for a 3 piece variety meal. When I looked on the till screen it said 2 piece variety meal. I questioned this and was told that it was a 3 piece meal. The receipt also clearly said that I had ordered a 2 piece meal. The food arrived after a considerable wait and was indeed a 3 piece meal. Confused. On countless visits I have had to wait far too long for food. Slow, rude staff with a don’t care attitude. Several times my order has been wrong and the attitude was very much, “oh well”. No apologies and acted as if this was perfectly normal. Visited store last week to be greeted with a closed sign and no explanation.

I go here often because I love the food . However the service is awful. They normally only have one person serving and the queue is massive , sometimes out the door . And even then they don’t get another person on the till. The Krushems machine is broken every time I go in then (often just to get a krushems ) and this has been going on for years now . Since they changed the fries they are horrible and dry and stick to your mouth they are unpalatable . The wait time even when the queue is 2 people long normally exceeds at least 30 mins which my mum is having to wait in the car for me to finally get my food which is normally cold by then. Some of the staff can be quite rude as they have very thick foreign accents / don’t speak much English so you don’t understand them and ask again what they said and they say it again rudely . I have complained to customer service before and never got any sort of compensation (e.g I got an order, took it home and realised I didn’t get the mega box I ordered , and the email back I got was “We are sorry about this and will contact our team about making sure there is always everything in the order “ etc etc . They recently changed the store so there is some sort of system like McDonald’s, However it makes the wait times even longer because now they only serve with one till, and the ticket thing isn’t used . The food is normally cold and greasy and pricey but it is nice . Won’t be keen on coming until they fix the service

This is truly the last time I use this take away. Last 3 visits the food has either been cold, wrong items or missing items. This time got home food was cold, missing a main item and wrong items given. The shop was dead so no excuse. I went back to complain and got fobbed off. Couldn't be bothered arguing just won't return

I have been to this restaurant before and the food has been fine although it was a few years ago, however on this occasion the chicken was very greasy as if it had been re-fried and the coating was dark brown saturated with fat.The chips were again very dark and overcooked never seen that before as the chips have always been nice.Overall very disappointed its not like it used to be back in the day maybe it is a chef issue in the way or length of time its cooked.I would hope this wasn't food that had been left to go cold and reheated instead of throwing away for fresh after the regular 10 minute rule especially it being chicken.Colonel Sanders would be horrified!Oh! and the toilet facilities were disgusting!

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Only 2 members of staff - one serving, one preparing the food. This left no-one to clear the tables. I only went in cos I wanted a Milky Bar Krushem (yes I know it's not the greatest food choice!). After 15 minutes I reached the front of the queue only to be told that the Krushem machine hadn't been working for months. That tells you a lot about the owners, that they can't be bothered to get equipment repaired for months. Decided to settle for chips as I had heard that KFC chips are good. Unfortunately they were about as cold as my Krushem would have been if I'd been able to order one! I felt very sorry for the girls working. They were very patient and polite despite the awful conditions they were working under. Won't be returning though as the lace was a mess.

I ate in the shop and the food was cold.on ordering food to take home I asked if it was possible to have hot food what I got for over £25 is a selection of hot sweet corn with cold fries cold chicken and thankgod a chilled drink for the additional payment of fifty pence due to sugar tax.Avoid if you can but I don’t believe it to be the staffs fault just there procedures the food is now in the bin look forward to any new ads on tv.

They are the worst fast food establishment in burgess hill. They only take maximum of 4 orders at one time, which’s causes such a slow service. The staff never seem to be happy and they also never seem interested in making a good work service. This is only for the burgess hill store, every other KFC I’ve been too hasn’t been too bad.

9.30pm 20/09/18 gas leak at kfc all staff stood outside smoking saying we are closed due to gas leak, will never use this place again, last time i visted this shop some of the chicken was red on the inside.

As far as KFC goes the food here is actually alright, it’s a lot less greasy than most of its other restaurants but the service is absolutely appalling. Every time I go in there it’s a new member of staff with the same “couldn’t give a crap” attitude. Unfortunately it does tend to be foreign workers (I don’t have a problem with this at all) but why would you put a member of staff with VERY minimal skills in English on the tills? I had difficulty understanding her and when I asked her to please repeat herself she became rude and very hostile! When my food was ready my tray of fried chicken was then slammed onto the counter in front of me followed by nothing but a discourteous stare. Absolutely shocking, the music in the restaurant was also unbearably loud and the music they were playing was rather inappropriate for an eating establishment. I would give only 1 star but like I said the food was ok as far as KFC standards go.

This is our closet KFC for me and my family to visit. We have been here so many times and each time has not been great a few here and there have been ok but the majority have been pretty dam awful. I went recently and my partner chewed on what looked like cartilage or a bone of some sort and I ate the pieces of chicken that came with the meal I had my own and my partners one, about 2 hours later I was on the loo almost all the rest of the evening and even in the early morning I know it was food poisoning from the chicken because no one else had it. weirdly enough 2 days later KFC announced they had run out of chicken due to a delivery/supplier issue. Seems rather odd? I emailed KFC saying as i'm sure you can appreciate I will not be returning to any KFC for a long time if ever, I was sent an apology and a £10 voucher to spend. Although I am gratefull I still am extremely scared to go back there any time soon. Also the service is awful every time I visit the burgess hill branch there is 2 workers there and neither can cope with the influx of people coming into their store. I personally would shut it down refurb even though it has recently had this and apply the same practices as the Brighton branch touch screens for self service. The machine never gets our order wrong it is always done plain the way we want it and we get it alot quicker as well.

Having recently been refurbished, it looks a lot nicer but unfortunately there could be improvements. After refurbishment, there is a glass barrier at start of counter stopping everyone from looking at the menu on monitors behind the serving area until they are virtually in front of the centre of serving counter. A very bad design meaning people cannot decide on choice of food till last minute. There are always queues sometimes to the door. This should be changed so people queue in other direction. Staffing levels always seem low, maybe it's a high turnaround of staff. Food is okay when you eventually get it but the speed of service definitely needs to improve. Fingers crossed the KFC shoplift team and management read this and implement changes to help everyone locally.

Have stopped using this place. Huge turnover of staff and not very helpful. Often gets food wrong, (or left out of bag). Even complained to their head office about quality and food that had been missed. Although compensated me, (not for all of it), they did not really seem to care. Will not use this one again.

I was with my family at this restaurant last year in August and had a very bad experience with the staff. Now the management has changed and I said let's give another chance. My little one was very pleased and those golden wings.....its a must go. Staff very friendly and despite the fact we went at busy times serving was bang on. Love it !

The food quality is no different from any other KFC outlet I have tried. Quality control is at least consistent. That said, the entire ‘experience’ is so dispiriting that I’d sooner go hungry.Despite a physical makeover a while back, the ‘atmosphere’ there is my view like a waiting room for The Samaritans. At night, there is – among the customers – a palpable air of menace. I would not be comfortable for my wife to be there on her own after 9 pm.Rarely have I encountered such a bunch of miserable staff who are so enthusiastic in sharing their discontent with anyone and everyone it seems. They don't even have to open their mouths; their body language tells you all you need to know.Do KFC care? In this particular site it seems not. Either on-site management is inadequate, or simply not present. I suspect the latter. This is text book example of how not to do it.The strange part, and remains a mystery, is how this particular outlet is so very far below the standard of all the other KFC outlets I have visited over many years. KFC HQ, you need to send in mystery shoppers, and quickly too.

Once again the service and queue time is painfully slow as the staff run around like headless chickens chatting and not getting a lot done . A little bit of leadership and maybe a trip to a another store to see how they operate is in order . That being said the chicken is good and always hot .

It really annoys me that I love KFC but I can't go to my local one because it is so AWFUL. The staff are so rude!!! The manager guy got my drink wrong and when I told him he threw took the lid off threw it down the drain and slammed the cup in the bin before giving me a new drink without an apology. There is ALWAYS a queue about a mile long because they take so long to process the orders. The staff don't let you use the rewards card unless you tell them before you order. The place is filthy, nobody cleans the tables or empties the bins they are always flooding and sometimes there is visible food and dirt on the kitchen floor which is disgusting.

I stopped off today at KFC at 11.30 to find a sign saying "Due to unforeseen circumstances closed until 14.00 today" I went to Subway instead. On the way back I saw to blokes in suits sitting with a laptop, After reading other reviews of this branch it looks like the "Manager" should pull his socks up.

I am a regular customer, and to be onest KFC ia my no.1 fast - food :)!!! Everything is yummi...my favorite is the take five box because has all you need in just a little box. As for desert I am in love with the krushems .. I highly recommend KFC

ok, I enter KFC Haywards Heath, no one else at the counter, I order a 6 piece bucket. The server then in a flash chicken went flying into the bucket. I could not quite understand what the rush was as I was the only one at the counter, all become clear when I got home. The rush is so you cannot see the worst and smallest piece of chicken, (mostly wings) she could find, barely covering the bottom of the bucket let alone filling it some way. My advise if you are getting take away, check your bucket before you leave its unlikely it will look like the picture on the menu board.Legs and wings from more like a sparrow and soggy cold chips, very disappointed.

The food was awful, the service was no better. The burgers fell apart and the pulled chicken was missing from the pulled chicken burger?!???? The chips were shrivelled and clearly had been cooked for a while and to make it even more appetising it was 'literally' thrown on the tray. The staff looked messy and dirty and one member was even having 'a quick ciggie' out the front by the door. The restaurant itself is just dated and unclean and the whole experience has put us off ever going to KFC again. I would be surprised if they woukd still be serving food should the food standards agency decide to pop it. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS unless you want disgusting food and poor service from messy looking staff

Best burgers in town, hands down. Loaded fries are incredible! Milkshakes are awesome. Staff are awesome. Highly recommend
