KFC in Liverpool

We came in here for a quick lunch having enjoyed our visit a year or so earlier. However on ordering the order went from "preparing" to "ready for collection" fairly quickly but we were then told that they were waiting for some chicken to be cooked. We hung on for about 5 - 10 minutes hoping they wouldn't mess up the order which thankfully they served correctly after that time. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bites which were shown on various posters around the place. The pictures showed large pieces of chicken brimming out over the edge of a tub but what I got was a small number of tiny chunks which I had to peer into the tub to see. I also had a couple of chicken pieces - all of the chicken was dry and not at all succulent as it had been previously. Furthermore the tables were all dirty, there was food on the floor in several places and the bins were overflowing - we could not put our rubbish anywhere other than leave it on the surface above the bin as indeed previous customers had done. Finally we felt sorry for the Uber Eats delivery guy who arrived around the same time as us and managed to be his delivery around 5 minutes before we had finished and were leaving. I should add that all of this occurred just before 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon and there was only one or two other customers besides us so it was very quiet ineed.

Absolutely AWFUL - This KFC has gone totally downhill, food is absolutely appalling, I've been numerous times as it's close to my work and they manage to mess up the order every single time. Staff are rude, place is filthy and the food is just shocking compared to other KFCS, portion sizes are a joke and its just all around bad.

Never seen such a scruffy looking dinner in my life, chicken bones and food rapping's all over the floor both inside and out, plus the table tops requiring cleaning. Not once did I see a employee clean a table or attempt to pick up any litter. Paying cash at the till was difficult due to the poor English spoken by the till attendant and it became evident once the meal was ready the attendant had not fully understood what had be asked for. I do not whish to sound racist but at the entrance to the Kentucky a sign states the chicken is halal certified, my understanding of that is the poor chickens throat is cut so it bleeds to death. As a Christian I am a bit disturbed by the sign after all would you see a sign in a Muslim country saying "chickens humanly butchered" to appease Christians, NO? Stopped eating Kentucky about two years ago when I looked into why it no longer tasted like Kentucky and promised I would never eat their again. It was only for my two grandchildren wanting to go there I went in however the experience has left me with no doubt in my mind to never go near the place again. Plus I paid £29.00 for three meals and the amount of fries you get would only feed a young child. No longer finger liking , more like sh*t stinking.

I walked in and the tables had not been cleared and people where waiting on tables to be cleared . The bins where overflowing and food on the floor. After an argument between the front and kitchen staff we got our food which was completely wrong and took another 20 mins to redo. If I wasn’t with the grandchildren I would of just left!

Restaurant requires an urgent deep clean. Tables filthy, floor covered in packaging and left over food. Toilets even worse. Not a hand gel in sight or anything to clean the table. If the dining part is this filthy, does not bear thinking about what it's like behind the tills/kitchen area. KFC Area Manager - do your job and sort this place out. Vile. Never again.

Worsed experience, no receipts at tills so had to remember number. 20+ minutes wait once ordered. Chicken was laced with red veins in burger. Side chicken was coated in fat. Did my best to eat as so hungry. I don’t see me ever using KFC again based on this. Absolutely disgusting.

Placed an order on a order app. I was in a hotel 1.6 miles away, waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. Got food delivered, absolutely s**t in a box, cold not just warm stone cold. Avoid, avoid.

No Pepsi, and we weren’t given any straws or napkins. As this is a drive thru only restaurant, this was very inconvenient. However, the food was lovely

We were visiting Liverpool for a few days and had a 7 hour journey up. The kids were absolutely famished and rather than try and find a local place to eat, we thought we'd stick to a KFC; because we know what to expect in terms of taste and quality. Ordered food through "Just Eat"; total came to about £30 for 10 pieces of chicken, 2 fries and a bottle of drink. Food arrived on time and when we opened the bucket, we could see the chicken visually looked old. I bit into a thigh and almost threw up; it STANK! The fires on the other hand were tasty, but beware, you got about 10 fires per portion. DISGUSTING food. I have never been so disappointed in my life. AVOID this place.

Arrived at KFC to find it closed (Sunday morning 10.30) as l thought it opened up at the same time as MacDonald's, so sat in car park for 30 mins until it opened. Have now received a parking ticket for £170! Have complained to the parking company who said they tried to contact me and the penalty is now £170! I advised them it was a genuine mistake plus the signs were not visible, but they just don't care. So beware if you visit. Funnily enough now, they have replaced the signs so they are more visible, can't believe KFC are associated with such a rouge company shame on you KFC.

the location is a few minutes' walk from Albert dock. My order came out fast and was tasty. a large number of tables.

Lazy bast***ds haven't changed the oil for a long time. Gave me burnt chicken then told me freshly cook chicken would be 5 mins, so we waited. Happily gave me new chicken and I'm sure it was the original chicken they had cooked for longer. Not ass'ed. Offered me refund, but I would rather post this message. Dont bother going there. McDonald's next door.

I’m not one to right bad reviews, but when you experience this level of ignorance and poor customer service it is worth being noted. Avoid this place. Our food took over an hour, upon asking for an updatewe were told that “ we’ve been shouting your order for the last ten minutes, not my problem”. After telling the lady that we had placed a table service order and we were told that it would be brought to our table, she handed us our food (that had been sat without a heater for 10/15 minutes) and said that that’s our order. After asking for the food to be re- made, which is more than exceptional considering our waiting time and poor customer service we received, the girl rolled her eyes at us and walked away from the counter. We were then greeted by the manager, who has the worse customer service I have ever experienced, I’m unsure how someone with that attitude is in a management role. She told us that it’s not her problem, and that we could either take the food or get out. What ever happened to the customer is always right? We waited an hour for our order, plus the less than adequate customer service, and you call yourselves a fast food restaurant? I hope you take this review into consideration and consider improving both your customer service levels and management capabilities at this store.

There are some good and some not so good KFC restaurants. This one in my opinion is diabolical, some of the staff are friendly, it's the food and the management of this franchise that makes the staff and customers uneasy about giving criticism. The first time I went got a take out meal, the gravy needed a straw for it it was like a broth not what the usual KFC brand standard is, I called the store as was home and was given a reference to use when next in. Went in this time girl at the till was so nice said had a code, then have the order she got the manager, the manager was of foreign extraction, possibly polish maybe some other far flung destination, barked no that's wrong in a scathing tone and dirty look to the assistant on the till and wiped the order off. Then took my code, going away in the back, returning 4 mins later to tell me the code isn't right, I said it must be NO NO NO NO, she says as if being repetitive makes a difference, I produce my mobile to find the call as all calls are recorded, she says you can't record calls, you have to tell people, rarely do I get to return a NO! so fast to someone, the law of RIPA 2000 clearly states recording of calls for home users (think she's forgotten she's a store manager not a multi lingual Erin Brockovich) Situation continues with miss attitude providing poor customer service as if she can win an award for it, ended up bought the meals as was hungry and 2 similar meals one zinger one plain placed on a tray with no way telling which was which, saga ends up said friend has took a bite of my burger which was the zinger as we couldn't tell the difference due to them not adhering to the band standard and boxing up. Definitely a store to avoid

After a day out at exhibition centre, we decided to grab some quick food for journey back home - we purchased mega box meal, chicken snack box and a regular popcorn chicken Upon opening the items the first thing I noticed was that they had given me a small popcorn chicken box that was only 1/2 full - meaning there was only about 5 prices in it for £3.29. I went in and challenged to be told that it is a regular but they did replace so had a full box. On the way home I rang a friend who previously worked at a KFC and described the size of the box and he confirmed it was a small portion which I was very disappointed with. I would have accepted that providing small portions was an error until my son bought me his snack box whilst I was waiting for the replacement popcorn chicken. He showed his box and I am not exaggerating when I tell you he had 1 price of chicken ( as expected) but literally only a handful of chips that didn't even cover the bottom of the box. Lastly for the megabox, there was 1/2 bag of chips and only 1 hot wing. These were rectified by the staff, however another 2 people had similar issues that had gone via drive through... this sounds like deliberate attempts to not provide items as advertised, to reduce portion sizes intentionally and do it to drive through so that people may have already headed away so don't come back to challenge. I have not had this experience before in Preston, so seems isolated to this one

This was my umpteenth tone in this KFC. Absolutely finger licking good. Only drawback is that tables are dirty and ckeared after a long time by the staff so have to hunt for a clean one.

He visitado esta franquicia de KFC, muchas veces. ¿Cada vez que voy con la familia, el servicio parece empeorar? ¿El personal no es útil y parece que no quieren trabajar allí? ¿No hay gestión del personal? El personal le hace esperar innecesariamente, mientras hacen bromas y se ven muy ocupados. La experiencia de disfrutar de un servicio de "chuparse los dedos" simplemente se ve arruinada por la calidad del servicio que el personal brinda allí. I stopped here for dinner whilst staying local the staff were alright and the food was the normal KFC standard but the restaurant was filthy the tables were filled with rubbish from previous diners and the bins were filled to the top as well

Had a meal here on 13/12/2018. Absolutely disgusting. Got a zinger burger which was a tiny chicken burger in a dry, stale bun. Chips were cold. Waited for ages while staff chatted with each other. Won't be going back.

By far the worst KFC i've ever been too.

Busy day decided that we were hungry but in a hurry so as we were passing KFC we decided to give it a try. We selected Boneless Box between us, regular Fries, Corn on The Cobb. Obviously the service was quick, but nothing exceptional.

Food was usual KFC std, staff busy but got order bang on, bins a bit full but cleared by the time we left. Good parking and handy location near most hotels.

Called in on our way home from Liverpool. Usual kfc fayre, well cooked fast food at a reasonable price, jovial staff and a nice clean dining area and clean toilets

I ordered dipping boneless feast through deliveroo. They always forget the sharing dipping bar which I had to eat chicken with no sauce. So if you say it comes with the dipping bar, then give the dipping bars.

Visité este KFC y sólo el Halal en Liverpool el 9 de mayo de 2018. En conjunto no está mal, pero podría ser mejor. El personal no era tan simpático/escuchar como debería haber sido. La comida estaba bien, otra vez no excelente.. La porción de patatas fritas parecía un poco menos, hamburguesa de pollo zinger estaba bien.

Ordered off Deliveroo, 2 piece meal with hot wings and fillet burger meal, was quick and meal was very hot and tasty, happy that it was delivered with everything correct, not like kfc on great Charlotte st, where they miss half the order or give you a burger instead of the 2 piece variety meal.

مطعم كنتاكي بصفة عامة هو خيار جيد للمسافرين بحكم رخص اسعارهم وكان الاكل جيد لكن ما ضايقني هو سوء النظافة بالنسبة للطاولات والارضيات وعدم الاهتمام بها لذا ارجو ان يهتموا بهذا الامر

I have been to this kfc a few times to see that it is un tidy and not cleaned thoroughly EVER. It is the closest one to our house and we sometimes get food delivered. Every single time they forget something such as the drink cookie or burger. It ruins my experience

This is the 2nd time I've been here with family and same thing happened both times, they never have enough stock of everything. After taking the order off my grandkids I went to the counter and out of 8 orders 5 had to be changed because they didn't have certain items then they had no napkins or wipes at all. Went to go to the toilet and the smell was horrible and lo and behold no toilet roll. God knows how they stay in business if that happens all the time. Defo won't be going there again.

My daughter visited the drive through today and placed her order for two boxed meals of Rio BBQ boxed meals, which include sides burgers, chicken in sauce and fries with a drink. After being kept waiting for half an hour, she was given two drinks, four small boxes of chicken in a drizzle of sauce and two fries. She was charged £9.98 for this. She complained and was told that was what she had ordered and there was nothing they could do. !!!!! As she was extremely busy and now late she went on her way. I am so disappointed and let down by the behaviour and the food. Don't bother visiting here. I won't be going again.

Fui no KFC, pois ficava próximo ao hotel em que fiquei hospedada. A refeição segue o padrão da rede de fast food. Achei as mesas e o chão um pouco sujos, porém creio que foi devido ao horário (meio dia). É uma excelente opção para quem está viajando com orçamento limitado.

Food okay, staff member who served us was pleasant but the tables, chairs and floor had food all over them. We had to clean a table and the chairs before we sat down to eat. I was not offered milk with my tea. There were no wooden stirrers. I was given 3 plates for 5 people. Don't the staff/management have any pride in their workplace? Don't they care about the customers? If I have to ask then the answer is probably no.

Attended this Restaurant with some overseas work colleagues and to my disbelief We was subject to Racial and Unacceptable Verbal Abuse from Staff. When We went to file a complaint the Store Manager refused to take Our complaint because one of our colleagues answered back to the tirade of abuse We was subject to. It is beyond belief that Staff who work at this restaurant are allowed, not only, to verbally express racist behaviour but also use Foul and Abusive language towards customers. Staff at such large franchise as KFC ought to act professional at all times and I am afraid to say that this branch of KFC has failed miserably in every aspect of Professionalism and Customer Service. Not only did staff shout Racist Derogatory words towards my work colleagues but also aimed Verbal Abuse towards Myself. Furthermore, when We attempted to make a complaint our Complaint fell upon Deaf ears as the store Manager refused to take a complaint and instead chose to defend the staff in question. Bit of Advice, Avoid this place at all cost. HORRENDOUS, VILE and FOUL Mouthed bunch of Staff who verbally abuse Customers!

I was in a hurry and time was getting on, so I stopped at KFC for some lunch. What a mistake. The floor was covered in bits of chicken and discarded paper, there were tables with the remnants of meals left lying around and all of the bins were over flowing. It wasn't particularly busy and there seemed to be staff just standing around talking. The food was hot, but not as hot as other KFC's that I've been to. The staff seemed more interested in talking between themselves than looking after the customer. I won't be going back!

Wasn't the best KFC but wasn't the worst. Good location, a short walk away from the hotels. Didn't have any trouble getting the food.

Es la primera vez que piso un KFC, los empleados no te ayudan mucho a la hora de pedir comida, para saber como va la dinámica de los menús, y no había nadie mas esperando para pedir. Para una persona que nunca ha ido, igual necesita algo de ayuda. Por otro lado no quisieron calentarnos el potito de comida del bebe, con lo cual no pudo comer. Terrible. Espero que no sean todos así, porque si no es un fracaso de franquicia.

This is by far the worst KFC I have been to, and it's a shame because it's my local KFC, I only live in an apartment down the road. I have been a few times, and they've all been as bad as each other, yet unfortunately this occassion was the worst.I arrived at around 7pm with my boyfriend, and we were served by Katie, who was absolutely lovely and showed how customer service should be given. She served us with a smile and we continued with our order. We moved to the right hand side of the till to wait for our food, my boyfriend waited for our food which took around ten minutes. Baring in mind we only ordered a popcorn chicken snack box and a hot wing snack box with four extra hot wings, and two pepsi drinks. I was sat down at a table waiting for our food.When our food arrived I had four hot wings and I was missing two. I went back up, and by this time there were plenty of people waiting to be served, waiting for their food, and others were returning incorrect meals. I managed to get to the front as I had already had my food in my hand, yet I was blanked for 5 minutes, in which a gentleman came up next to me and said to someone on the other side of the till "I asked for two fillet pieces and I got give hot wings". I replied with "they're probably my hot wings then.."Someone took the wings from him and placed them back on the shelf, at no point did anyone ask me what I needed. I ask to ask myself where my order was, and I ended up speaking to a guy who really didn't know how to speak to a customer. I told him I was waiting for two hot wings, and his reply was "oh, erm I don't know... we've got a wait for hot wings". In which he then walked off ...I then stood there for a further few minutes before Katie the cashier who served me asked me if she could help, and I explained. From there, she went around the back to see what the hold up was and she came back and told me that they would be a few more moments. I told her that I would go and sit down.I sat down to a cold meal and I never did get my hot wings. No one remembered me, no one brought them to me and I was blanked by all members of staff but Katie. Who was also managing to juggle cleaning the shop floor as well as taking customers orders. Yet the staff behind the till couldn't even manage their orders, pack their orders and give out the correct orders.Whilst I was sat down I could see other people getting orders of hot wings with their meals, and I ended up sitting down to a cold meal which I ate two hot wings a handful of fries and I threw it away.The customer service was absolutely appalling, and I feel that KFC should be ashamed to have such incompetent staff members. At one point another member of staff shouted at other members of staff "WE HAVE NO PACKERS" ... So I'm guessing that there was an inadequate number of staff packing food into bags and boxes?And one last thing, the top of the receipt says that the address is Chaloner Street, Guildford Road, Woking, GU22 7NJ ... not Queens Dock.Oh, and for the issues I didn't hear one person get offered a refund for the mistakes.

Die Cola - wurde wohl ignoriert.- Ambiente: wenn man das Essen vom Boden, Tischen und Sitzmöbeln zusammen nimmt würden mindestens noch zwei Personen satt werden. Einfach nur dreckig! Aber es war ja immerhin kurz vor Ladenschluss... (ca. 45 Minuten).Empfehlung: vielleicht lieber den Drive Thru nutzen. Im eigenen Auto hat man die Sauberkeit dann selbst unter Kontrolle...

Place is alright staffs is busy with talking each other they don't care about customers ,it's just annoying!staffs should need to Learn what is customer service.

Worst KFC in the world FACTRestaurant area was filthy. Staff were too busy chatting to each other and ignoring the customers,When you order a variety bucket I expect a variety of chicken but it was all legs. I complained and was asked to leave.So I left with my bucket of legs!Disgraceful management skills.

Dont want to go on, in a nutshell, went once, they ran out of chicken, yes really. Avoided for a while, but went back recently and drive through till wasnt working. Had to go in and they gave the wrong order. They also gave 5 legs and one other piece which is a joke. They are complete imbeciles and don't care about the customer. Go to the one on edge lane! We go there now.

Restaurante de rede. Salvou minha vida depois de uma noitada no Cavern. Pedi o básico (frango). Mas peguem porções pequenas porque cada pedaço é realmente enorme.

Esse KFC era bem próximo das docas. Foi o que nos salvou. Era o único restaurante que encontramos aberto após a noitada no Cavern Club. Como todos da rede, frango empanado. E o detalhe. Muito diferente daqueles que existiam no Brasil. Não era coxa de frango, mas o peito inteiro empanado. Enfim..... Comemos o que aguentamos e sobrou muito frango.

Went with daughters before mcbusted concert a couple of months ago.food and napkins all over floor and tables hadn't been cleared.one person serving didn't have a clue about customer service and neither did she care.no manager to be seen and had to clean my own table.outside there was a young woman trying to get in but door was stuck so I informed a member of staff who just shrugged.wont go here again it's filthy

went in last saturday, the queue was out the door, not kfc fault, disney on ice at echo arena had just finished hence the queue, but the kfc staff were excellent, the queue went so quick, got my food in no time, well packed and hot and tasty

Every time we visit this local kfc the order is always wrong when we go to another kfc this never happens. This time they forgot the burger in the big daddy box meal which is the key part to the meal

Kfc is nice when it's not all dried up coz it's sat there for hours. When it's fresh is best. I use kfc quite regularly and mostly drive thru's, sometimes service is awful at certain stores but mostly ok. They don't always give you the dips you are supposed to get with meal deals. It's good if you just wanna easy meal without cooking.

Horrible service at this place, need to sharpen up the chicken pencil and develop a professional working environment, service was awful and chicken not very hot, horrid chips too won't be returning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went one time a few months ago and they didn't have chicken on the bone. It was only 5pm! Just went today and we ordered a 6 piece variety bucket. they only gave us 5! Terrible. The girl serving us was really clueless too.

Called in after work. What a wast of time. Cued up and reached the order section. Ordered a variety meal only to be told they had no chicken on the bone left. KFC no chicken on the bone something missing hear. By now i had 4 cars parked behind me. OK i will have something else.Tried ordering that and they did not have any. Now loosing my temper. Told the lad how can i go backwards to look at the board with all the cars parked up my backside.Normally go to KFC on the Wirral. Have to say they are top draw. Left the drive in went next door to McDonald service good and had everything i asked for. Will never go back to that KFC again.What a disgrace to the chain of fast food eateries .

I agree with previous reviewers that the staff here are very rude and need some serious retraining...starting with the Manager !Called in at the KFC with my son yesterday at about 5pm. We placed our order and were told to take a seat and someone would bring our food over. We just sat there for about 10 minutes and saw lots of other people being served so I assumed that we had been forgotten. I went to the counter to enquire what was happening and where our food was. I was told that there was a problem with the fillet burgers and we would have to wait. I saw that the rest of the order was sitting under the heater and I asked how long it had been sat there. No one seemed to know so I asked for a refund and said I would go elsewhere.The manager Keith came out and said nothing when I asked him if it was normal practice to leave customers sitting around waiting. I also expressed my concern regarding the food safety issues of leaving food sitting around under thhe heater when the remainder of the order was not ready. Again he just ignored me. I asked if he had heard me and he responded " I am doing your refund and cannot do two things at once" How rude. I did not realise that issuing a refund was such a complex operation that he could not respond to 2 questions whilst performing the operation of the till!I got my refund and asked him if he was going to give me any explanation, feedback or apology for my obvious displeasure. He replied " I was going to give you a free meal and speak to you if you stopped tallking!"If the manager leads the way in customer service no wonder the staff are allowed to act as they do with little attention to the common courtesies that any customer would expect in any retail outlet.Very poor experience and a very poor attitude of manager and staff.

Good location by the Dolby and Campenalli.....we were served quckly but disappointed at the state of the tables left full with used cartons and the floor could have done with a sweep and a mop

What can I say.. As this being my local KFC I would rather travel for a better service. Every order I have placed I have had to park up and wait then given the wrong food. Once we sat in the car park for over 25 mins for our food to find out they had forgot although we were the only customers at that time. So disappointing! Get a new manager to pull this place together and get it up there with all the rest!!!!

went through the drive thru, waited 15 minutes for the food, we had to park in the car park and wait, when it eventually arrived the order was wrong, went back, the ignorant male member of staff did not even say sorry or anything in fact he never said a word, just slammed the missing food on the counter, will not be going back again, manners cost nothing

I found the staff quite rude, just slammed my meal on the counter and had to wait ages. The place was disgusting, all the bins were full and overflowing and there were bones on the floor.

Went for a family bucket which is not my cup of tea but mum and brothers like that type of finger licking food! We all had ice cream afterwards and all agreed it was one of the nicest ice cream we had which is on a par with the clotted cream ice cream we had in Padstow next to Rick Stein fish and chips! Next time I will just order two cream with a zinger chicken which I have enjoyed before.
