Went for tea as it was coming up to 7pm and needed a quick meal to take home. Couldn’t order on the app to get at drive thru…had my dog who is anxious when left so decided to go through the drive thru and order (big mistake!). I eventually got to the order window at 8pm (no way out, trapped in queue so no real option but to wait). I ordered boneless box and zinger tower burger meal with a couple of extras. At 8:20pm I tried to attract the attention of staff, no joy, they were walking past the window looking but didn’t seem to realise I wanted to ask a question. At almost 8:30 a girl came to window (with her handbag on shoulder) to say don’t film here (I was taking a selfie style pic of my dog with front camera). I asked how long my food would be and she said she didn’t know. We had an exchange which resulted in her closing the window trantrum style. The car behind me then started beeping it’s horn, which brought the server (who I have to say had been really polite) to the window. He immediately began his apology “I know your wait of over an hour has been frustrating”. I explained it wasn’t me beeping the horn but the car behind. As he was here though could he let me know how much longer my food would be. He apologised and said he was having to wait ages for the burger. I asked for a refund and he brought the manager who kindly did do a refund. I explained that I wasn’t happy at the accusatory tone from the girl and she said she would speak to her when she next in. Incidentally, I called at macdonalds on the way home and got chicken strips within 10 mins! Wish I’d just done that in the first place!!!! Cannot believe how long it took on a Friday night at peak time you would expect things to be ready and keep a rolling flow of items ready! Must say though apart from the rude girl both the staff were polite but the lack of updates on progress and people walking past the window ignoring you wasn’t helpful, nor was seeing everyone stood around chatting! Won’t be going there again and for your sanity would advise you not to bother!

This KFC has to be the worst in existence. You're always looking at a 20/30 minute wait for food, no matter what time of day or how big your order. The staff are always standing around doing nothing, especially when it's rush-hour. They also badly need customer service training, their attitudes towards customers is appalling, especially when there are issues. 9 times out of 10 they always forget things in my order and food quality is inconsistent. They also heavily prioritise deliveroo/uber eats drivers before other customers. As locals from Denton, we just go to the Ashton branch now.

Once again no sure why we go her but ordered to takeaway arrived home half of the order was missing. Had to drive back for them to just give us chips. Gravy was dreadful and as thin as water. Everytime I have been here if I eat in or take out something is always missing. Stopped eating in as the place has dirty floors and sticky tables. This KFC and the one on Ashton moss are awful the chips are tasteless, chicken grease gets worse every time we go

Chicken was disgusting and service was terrible. Condescending management. Wouldn't go again after this trip

I ordered and they got half of the order wrong! The food was cold and disgusting,I ordered a wrap and it was awful there was 1 piece of chicken and it was all threw on it, the workers didn’t listen at all. I don’t recommend going here save your money!!

HORRIBLE & DISGUSTING!!! I placed an online order last night of 10 piece wings and fries. Food was absolutely cold and inedible. I tried calling straight after I received the food but went straight to voicemail. It is extremely worrying to think the staff of KFC thinks it’s ok to serve food if that poor quality.

Totally awful service, no sauce for chicken, no chicken drumsticks, no mayonnaise, no ketchup no sweet chilli sauce, no milkshake, no direction to say drive through is close all the way to the end. Chips was re-fried awful awful even my 8 yea old commented on how terrible the service is .

Not sure why I return here. But without fail they messed my recent order up. You go inside they take over 20 minutes to prepare food, drive through they will without fail mess order up. Ask for chicken leg they always give wrong piece. Forget to give gravy on regular basis and to top it off on my latest visit they forgot the chips !!!! Staff rude and manager is useless. If you queue up for the till if paying cash they ignore you for ages and you have to actually call for a member of staff to serve you. Total shambles of a place.

We have just visited KFC at Denton as drive through customers.. I can’t say it’s fast food for a start, although I’d rather the food be cooked from scratch if that was the reason for the delay? Simple request for no mayo on zinger burger and a BBQ sauce.. ended up with 8 random pots of chilli sauce, spicy mayo and tomato sauce and no BBQ. On a plus point for me, I was given at least 20 sachets of salt (no lie) 🤦🏻‍♀️. Came to take a bite of my zinger burger which had Mayo on.. not really a problem, so went back in store to be offered with a replacement of refund straight away by a young lady 👍🏻😊.. Manager then came over, no acknowledgment of the problem, just asked for my name and card to refund to.. that was it.. No conversation, no sorry for getting it wrong, just plain arrogance.. I did say, it was a good job I wasn’t allergic to eggs and he ignored that comment. Managers need at least some communication skills, this one evidently didn’t.. I love KFC, but every time I’m let down…

Ordered a simple box meal at the drive through to be asked to wait in the car park where my order would e brought to me. After 20 minutes I went into the shop adn asked what the delay was, The assistant went round the back of the counter and re-appeared with my meal. Terrible service.

On going through drive through and not getting anyone ask me what I wanted I drove around to cash window to be ignored. Went inside to order and spoke to a male manager who was rather rude when I explained what had happened he said I hadn’t stopped at windows so I asked him to look at cctv and he said he didn’t have time to look did I want to order or what then walked away. A young man took over my order and apologised and I asked if another manager was available and a young lady came to counter and apologised and said she had seen me at both windows but couldn’t answer.

We had tried to avail ourselves of the 9 piece chicken bucket deal (£5.99) the week before but the Snipe branch was under refurbishment :( This week we tried the Gorton one and it was drive-in only, again due to a refurb, so we went to the Denton one. It was empty when we went so we thought the chicken was going to be cold and soggy but it tasted fab! And all thighs and drumsticks like it should be! We also got a wrap of the day (£1.98) which wasn't bad - the spicy sauce was really nice. Service was pleasant though as we changed an order, a manager or other staff member more senior was called and he seemed impatient and frosty - hope the poor girl didn't get into trouble! Aside from that, it was a happy chicken-eating experience! Defo wanna go back before the deal ends!

Just returned home from first travelling to KFC at Ashton to find it closed and looking like its having some sort of work done. Then travelled all the way to Denton. I asked for 3 piece meal and swap the drink for gravy and to have 2 legs in the order. Only to be told they can’t swap the drink for a gravy supposedly on the managers instructions! I stood my ground and told them I always order the same and have done for years so he then agreed. I paid £4.99 and asked the lady to check if there were at least two legs in the bag and she said yes and enquired if I’d swapped the drink for a gravy and I said yes. Low and behold I got home to find I’d got the chicken and the gravy and no piggin chips!! FGS. Gravy was a lot of use without the chips. One single order and they couldn’t get it right. KFC Ashton has never got an order right in all the years I’ve been going. I didn’t think I’d actually have to check if I’d got chips in there!

Just sat in and eaten a Luke warm meal after waiting 15 mins Watching four drive in customers going mad about their orders being wrong Staff arguing a headless clueless manager with no people skills And a delivery driver saying white drivers (he was white) getting treated badly compared to his coloured colleagues. Would it warrant a return not on your life Should be closed down place is empty toilets a disgrace and smelly

The worst ever! Avoid like the plague. No I am not passing through on the motorway, I live near by. This place has never got a single order right! To ight I paid over 30 quid for a family bucket no chips no sides just chicken and a bottle of pop. The kids meals just burgers no chips. This place is a disgrace! Avoid!

Twice I’ve been to the kfc in Denton now on 2 separate occasions and both visits I’ve been told the don’t have any chicken and all they can serve is drinks they don’t close till 10pm and I went tonight at 21:14 and nothing left...

Absolutely horrendous! Waited over 20 minutes after ordering ‘fast food’. Food was given but lo an behold as happens often here the order was not right. Large popcorn chicken missing. One of the wraps given was wrong - can hardly give a super charger wrap...

Handy when staying at the Premier Inn, very quick service, lovely staff. Always clean and tidy, staff always around cleaning tables and removing rubbish.

I know this is not the place for former employees to whine about places, but if for some divine providence you happen to end here and consider working in this KFC... Do yourself a favour and don't even bother to apply, unless you want to...

We just arrived at KFC in Denton to be rushed to order our food, when there was no one in the drive-threw let alone in the restaurant! they then informed us there was no gravy as they have had a busy day, i don’t agree...

We went there to treat my son and is friends first of all I got over charged then the food was cold and Ice-cream Machine was broken ! I complained to the manager and he made us fresh food. But people was bringing chicken back...

Waited in the drive through for my order for about twenty minutes. Apparently they were short staffed. When we got home, the food was hard and over cooked, so we complained, no one has been in touch, and this was about 3-4 weeks ago.

This is the second visit to this branch of KFC and I thought the poor service on the first visit was an unlucky fluke but NO it is still as bad. Most orders cocked up and people having to push to front of queue to get it sorted. Average waiting time 20/25 mins a joke. I will not visit this branch again and would not recommend it

Reviews very poor but actually service was nice and chicken ok. Bit greasy. If you're stating at the premier inn there's not a lot of choice.

the worst KFC around, two ladies serving very poor customer service talking to us like complete rubbish, literally dropping the trays of food on the counter and grunting some sort of order at us. never go again i would advise others to stay away

I wish KFC would give more choices of ice cream even the though the one choice they had was nice. In summer that would be a great bonus for many customers I sure.

The 5 of us arrived and were told that they were really busy and ran out of chicken and would have to wait 30 mins which considering my mum was over from Tenerife and loves Kfc & the gravy we waited. When we went to order after the 30 mins had passed we were told we had to wait a further 10 mins and had now ran out of the gravy.Just a terrible experience from a place I previously liked.

Wasnt open when arrived so only opens at 11am !! Slow initial service so hopes as time goes on it improves. Seemed a couldnt care less attitude. Clean neat and tidy but it had only just opened. Food as per normal

This place is a joke, had to wait nearly 20 minutes to get my food. The girls behind the counter had no customer service skills and you could hardly make out what they were asking.

20 odd teenagers running riot forced us to abandon meal because they were pushing each other around in a supermarket trolley in the car park and throwing cones inside and outside. The inside was covered in litter..... Staff no interest whatsoever in sorting it out.

Staff unable to cope with more than four orders so concentrated on drive thrus. Who trains these staff! Why do KFC get it so wrong

I visited the drive thru. The assistant was polite, helpful and certainly an asset to KFC. On arriving home, my order was exactly as asked for and the food was hot and delicious. I will certainly visit again. It is just hard to get to being on the outskirts of a major motorway roundabout but it is well sign posted

I love KFC but the one at Denton Rock is really really bad on a few counts. I keep going back with a view that things will improve but it’s trully shocking.

Called in with my other half and his two kids. Placed the order and was still waiting 15 minutes later. I complained and they said they hadn’t received the order! Luckily I still had the receipt so they said they would redo it. Had to wait another 15 minutes and wasn’t given any drinks so had to go back and complain again for a second time. I wasn’t the only person to be complaining of poor service and the lack of attention to detail.

After a long flight back from Brazil I was really hungry so fancied something quick on the way home. I do quite like a KFC now and then.

I stopped at this KFC on my way home after a long journey for work.

Went for food here on the way home from work as I was working locally . Got the food AND drinks home, wrong drinks wrong food. Wasn't worth going back. Been to KFC Hyde totally different experience. Staff seem to pay an interest rather than playing on their phones and hanging round the car park

Popped in during a business trip. Told the Mega Box was now on the kids menu. No longer "mega" just small. The only highlight was the gravy. The rest of the meal was mainly chicken bone and batter all greasy and jammed into a small box on top of a bed of soft greasy fries. No southern soul here so it was straight into the bin. They can keep their chicken and I'll keep my money. Found another chicken shack local that does give you value for money and quality ingredients.

Visited yesterday and been up all night on the toilet not nice at all iam done with KFC it's disgusting!

Llegamos a una cola enorme y sólo podía ver 2 personal trabajando detrás del mostrador. Sirvieron para averiguar que no había pollo disponible para 20 minutos. Una Pepsi y un pedido de Fanta, pero me dieron 2 tazas de lodo marrón, sinceramente no tengo idea de lo que era pero parecía asqueroso. Fuimos al wc - ambos tenían líquidos corporales y en el retrete. El personal no parece que se preocupan y estamos muy lento. Peor KFC nunca. También el drive thru ha estado cerrado durante unos 3 meses. Todo es un desastre y absolutamente necesita cerrar sus puertas. Nunca jamás visitará este KFC nuevo.

Personal que la tarde del domingo parecía mal formados, y apresurado. Cosas sencillas tuvo que mencionó tres veces y las tareas fueron completadas a medio camino. Yo estaba hambriento de mi comida era importante para volver a la casa. Justo debajo de normal un poco.

i visited this particular KFC for my usual "meals on wheels" , the drive thro is STILL boarded up from a fire many weeks ago , i parked and ended joining a long queue inside , it turned out they were cooking to order and it was taking forever, the staff have a "couldnt care less" attitude , 2 people in front of me gave up and walked out and tbh i wish i had followed them as my chicken was just warm n the chips whilst being red hot were not cooked :(

Been here 3 times , each time I said never again but was pestered by the kids.The service at the counter is chaotic when it's busy, and sloppy when it's quiet.The second time I went about 4 people were waiting to be served and the guy on the counter (about 17 years old and didn't have a clue) got every order wrong.If you put a big order in half the food is going cold while the rest is being prepared.It's not cheap either, but the quality is poor. The KFC coating is obviously what they're famous for and is very tasty, but the chicken itself is not the best quality and the french fries are awful.The display boards are very poor and make it hard to decide what you want to order.

Stayed at Premier Inn Denton, great stay but for the link to the Brewers Fayre next door (my review talks on the £8.99 breakfast rip off). Then we saw the KFC and enjoyed the polite staff, food and chatty atmosphere. It was then we realised others from BFayre were there with same needs. Thank you for saving my weekend KFC!

How do you run out of chicken and make people wait for 25 mins. You only sell chicken for gods sake???

Oh my gosh just spent 30 minutes in queue waiting to order a very new member of staff on till but no one to help her another 15 minute wait for food order had to go back in as drinks had not been given so in total an hour waiting chicken was cold as they put that in he bucket before they started faffing with the child and side orders the food was ok just avoid at all costs if you have a life - he drive thru was having the same sort of delays

i love kfc but finding a decent one is another thing, however... i have visited this one several times now, and am happy to say this is a good kfc, great staff, yes has sometimes been a little untidy but hey is that the end of the world when there so busy, the foods good the kitchen looks clean, so for a few plates on the odd table, no big drama... all in all its a great place.... dont believe all the negativity you read.

Food was hot and nice,but was very busy and the tables weren't clean and toilets weren't clean either.

Currently sat at KFC Denton been here for 15 minutes and counting for something they said would take 4 minutes. Well at least they haven't run out of chicken like last time!

Wasted about half an hour of my life waiting for food in this place. It wasn't busy - a couple of people ahead of me plus the traffic passing through the drive-thru.Staff just seem to wander around with no urgency, changed the cash drawer in the till. When I was served there were no burger buns and the ice cream machine wasn't working.Really, really, just don't bother.

Since the first day they opened this branch consistently gets the orders wrong which is especially frustrating if you have used the drive thru & already left the premises. Staff don't seem in a rush to serve no matter how many people are waiting. Food very often lukewarm at best.The only positive thing I would mention is that up to now it has been clean. Long way to go .........

Got to be the worst kfc I have ever been to the food was rank it was cold had hole in the coslaw tub and it's full of kids and very badly staff would never yous it again

The service here is fine, the food is horrible however. We've been on 3 separate occasions willing them to get it right this time but I won't go again. The food is cold and greasy, they miss items out please do not order the gravy, twice I've received it with the sticker showing when it should be binned, and it's been hours before. Honestly I'm not surprised it's so quiet all the time.

Our visit to KFc was terrible, the place was cold and unwelcoming and untidy, and the staff were apathetic. Food was just average. Will not be going again.

I have been to this KFC a few times over the last 12 months. When I first visited it was horrendous and I felt for a new branch they are really poor..... BUTOver the past 4 months I have seen amazing changes... this place is now a credit.Hot fresh food, staff that are happy you help and they get your order right.The bins are clear of rubbish and there's no grease left on tables and chairs.It's been a pleasure using your facilities and I look forward to returning

Been to this restaurant a few times, usually use the drive through, but thought I'd go inside instead,although friendly staff see disinterested and robotic, they look clean and well presented though, the cafe its self Needs to be cleared more regularly and the floor was quite sticky,the food was very tasty and chips hot and fresh and although not cheap worth the money

If you love chicken, go to KFC, it can get expensive but it is 100% worth it. I recommend that you get a krushem as they are so tasty.

Tuesday value offer 9 pieces £5.99.When I joined the queue there was plenty of chicken on view. However, the only girl taking orders in store wasted so much time being miserable and complaining to the customers that it took 30 minutes to place my order. She then informed me that the chicken would not be ready for at least 13 minutes. No chicken in any form available. No hash browns. Various other items not available.Having watched all available food being dispensed out the takeaway window I left empty handed and unhappy.

Called in for lunch as it was convenient. First time at this location. Plenty of parking, very nice building with lots of seating. Only one person serving and everything had to be ordered from the kitchen asn nothing was ready. Queue quickly built up. Kept serving new customersinstead of handing out the orders. He didn't really know what to do and seemed confused. Eventually a young lady came to assist and everyone got their orders.Need more staff especially at lunch time.

On attending KFC recently, a customer approached reception and vomiting all over the floor. The girl on the counter very kindly offered to clean it up but on watching this process was not impressed at all!!She got a mop out and started cleaning the floor, then got some tissue and place it over the rest of the vomit with a yellow sign on top. I assume the same mop will be used to clean the floors in future and i think some hygeine training is seriously needed. Maybe some spill kits especially for vomit and not using the cleaning mop. I found the whole experience very unsettling especially as we were in the middle of eating our food. :(

My First Time Ever visit to a KFC.... I called at the virtually new DENTON KFC on Alphagate Drive M34 3SH. Not the easiest place to get to as unfortunately there is no entrance off the Motorway Roundabout... its well signposted though. My initial impression was spoilt by a dirty tray on one of the outside tables at the entrance.. I went in and spoke to a very helpful young gentleman on the till called Paul Davies who sorted my MEGABOX SINGLE meal and black coffee very quickly. Equally quickly my meal appeared - absolutely PIPING HOT as was my excellent black coffee.... I was very impressed. Sadly 45 minutes later when I left the same dirty tray was still on the front outside table :(

Went to KFC in Denton with my husband after a long day at work Gareth and harry were a real credit to there company usually go to the KFC in Ashton but after the fantastic customer service will definitely be coming here in the future Donna and George

Order my zinger Salad and got a sloppy salad, even when I showed it to a manger, they turn and said "That's not the salad served here??" Well blow me - I'm still in your restaurant, not even walked out with my order and asked you to look at what's is served!!Think staff recruitment needs checking as after wide eye conversations, I got my money back but it was more then what I paid - maybe they give back interest, not back for a 10% ROI.

One of the worst places ive been to. The staff cannot get the orders correct, the bins were overflowing, tables wernt clean... to be honest this place needs a revamp and its not been open for very long.

One thing is for sure : KFC UK need to look at how the French run their restaurants and copy it! UK KFCs are by their very nature farm yards at best but this one I found to be clean, well run and polite and friendly staff when we visited. Quite often it's badly brought up customers that ruin places like this by chucking food and litter everywhere, a modern British phenomenon I'm afraid. Decent enough food at a reasonable price I thought, especially the buritto I had.

An absolute joke, just purchased a biggest daddy meal through drive through .got home to discover that they forgot to put chicken in my chicken burger

One of the most dirtiest places I've been too , left food as place was vile, tables and floors were so filthy covered in food , drink spillages all over floor , the place was empty yet still a mess ! Staff stood around chatting paying no attention to dining area , staff outside smoking in their uniforms , how unhygienic is that ? I will never again eat in that place , lazy dirty scruffy staff . I complained to shift manager who just shrugged and said sorry will speak to staff .

This branch was on a TV show and seemed bad there, it's true! I only work round the corner, always empty but very slow service. Had to wait in line 10 mins with only one customer in front, the cashier wasn't taking any more orders until the person in fronts food was cooked. Another 10 mins after ordering my food and finally got out with not long of my lunch break left. Food only warm and gravy almost solid, seemed to have sat there ages. Worth going the next junction on the motorway and visit the Ashton one.

Been a handful of times & always say to myself I won't return. Today is another reminder why. Every time I have been their is something to complain about ranging from cleanliness, to food quality. Guaranteed every time I've been in the drive thru I've had to wait in the parking bay, just like today. Today I had to wait for fries!!! Really? What kind of fast food place has you waiting in parking bay for fries!! If I was the owner of this place, having spent so much money on it I'd be reviewing the people I've got working there before they lose anymore customers.

Well placed just off the M60 and M67 has ample parking and a good well organised drive thru. It is KFC but the chicken etc seems to be always fresh.
