Service from a chap who had Down syndrome. Really nice, enthusiastic guy. Only rated 3 stars because he seems to be the only nice member of staff there. would have been 5 stars if the rest of the staff didn’t have faces like slapped as*es. Others couldn’t care less about anything. Thanks to the chap who served me today, a real credit to the branch. Need more employees like himself.

Just ordered food via Uber Eats with friends and the order was missing a full meal and sides. Missing items is very common when ordering from KFC unfortunately, and especially frustrating when they won’t answer the phone to deal with customers directly.

Great staff and great food. The food was crispy and succulent. Very clean and quick service. Perfect for a quick bite to eat.

Went to kfc tonight ordered 2 chicken burger box meals what an absolute joke burgers in little boxes an freezing cold with brown lettuce went large on chips they were chucked upside in a large bag upside down lifted the cardboard chip containers out which were empty an all fallen out an absolute joke your staff don’t care you need to get rid them all get some new decent staff or close the shop down your taking hard earnt money an it’s an absolute joke what you recieve in return

we arrived at 7pm and chose it because it had facilities to eat in as it was a cool evening. Nobody told us before we ordered than we could not eat in, and there were no signs to say this. The computerised ordering system gave the option to eat in - it should be progammed not to offer that option if it is not available. Unfortunately we were too tired and hungry to cancel the order and go elsewhere to eat inside. Very disappointed, and the staff were rather rude and unsympathetic about it. And the box ordered was much smaller than the picture shown.

The service is terrible , they are mostly out of stock of things to provide like ketchups and everything , cleaning is probably once in a day because there were boxes everywhere. I literally cleaned my own table to eat there.

was really looking forward to a kfc meal as not much chance living in cornwall .what can i say ist appearance very dirty i ordered what i thought was a 3 piece chicken meal with extra chips was given a receipt with order no on waited for it to come om screen but suddenly get shouted at for not picking up order even though it still had not appeared as ready on screen then find. i do not have extra chips then opened up chicken only 2 pieces went back to complain only to be told it was my fault i should have asked for 3 (which i thought i did) asked for an extra piece but wanted £1.90 although there was only 50p difference in the price asked if they could do a refund and start again but was told no so by then i just asked for a full refund from the manager after jokingly saying i had come from cornwall for this meal was told i should have got one closer to home. all i can say is i will never set foot inside that place again but in the mean time please train your staff in customer relations

Where to start. Only one of the two touch screen order boards working. No vegan burger option on touch screen. Only one person serving behind the counter. No hot drinks available. Tiny chicken piece for one of the 3 original pieces I ordered. Overall a terrible experience and will not be returning.

The place was so dirty you would not want to use the WC let alone eat and six staff on and only one working.

I went into the South Street branch of KFC in Exeter to get an evening meal. It was around 8pm, I did not have to wait long to place my order; however I did have to wait for around 5 minutes to collect my order of a 3 piece meal with a sugar free Tango drink. I returned to my car and drove out of the city to enjoy my meal on my way home. However when I opened the packaging I was greeted by 3 small very overcooked pieces of chicken and some disgusting chips that looked very questionable. I tried to eat the chicken but it was dry and not of the standard I normally expect from KFC. I basically threw the meal into the bin and drove home to eat a ham sandwich. I prefer KFC to other types of fast food but I wouldn't want any other customers to experience the disgusting food I was served today. I did not want to drive back and complain about a £4.99 meal, but I would advise avoiding this branch due to the quality of the food offered in this branch.

Proper long wait for your food. Made me so late for my lesson. Be warned. Also chips are always soggy and not crispy.

28 minutes to get our order (5167), if that wasn’t bad enough we didn’t even get an apology for the wait.

Really not impressed. If I overlook the mismanagement of my inexperience of ordering KFC and understanding the menu, trying to find a clean table amongst the many empty tables was impossible. Yet insanely there was plenty of staff on duty behind the counter and in the kitchen. A trip to the toilet was even worse. The sign says they are cleaned regularly but that must be biennial as there was no cleaning rota to be seen and they really were unacceptably filthy for any restaurant let alone an international chain restaurant. I’ve been here 25 minutes so far and there is only 1 or 2 queuing at most and still the tables are dirty. This could be because the bins are full but we made an effort to stick our rubbish in after taking the photograph of the bin. Assuming this is not run as a franchise under the KFC label something should be done to address the poor service and condition of this restaurant. Will not be going back to this KFC!

Sitting here at the moment waiting for my meal to come back. First attempt was cold fries, sold to wait three minutes, by which time, chicken got cold, no napkins or salt, tables a mess . rubbish

I popped into KFC for lunch today, I went to the toilet first as needed the facilities. The toilets were in a right state. The WC’s were badly stained brown in the traps and the sings were absolutely hanging. Never seen anything so bad. I then waited in the que to place my order and my thoughts of what cleanliness is the kitchen after seeing the toilets....? Anyway as I got closer to the order point, the person in front of me was greeted by a man who obviously had a really heavy cold or flu - he looked absolutely terrible. (Poor chap should have been home in bed) and he was rubbing his nose, touching the cups and everything. The other staff were looking at him and keeping away. At that point I gave up And turned away and walked out. Awful experience.

Had their lunch offer. Wasn’t disappointed at the price!! Last time a bought chicken here to take away they gave me the tiniest scraps but this time no problem. I think it depends on the staff.

Visité esta noche para recoger a mí ya mi compañero algo rápido para comer, cuando llegué allí, ya había un caballero quejándose de su pedido, el caballero que estaba detrás de él también se quejó. En este punto, debí de irme, cuando el tipo me estaba sirviendo, parecía grosero y triste (no hace daño sonreír). Me faltaban algunos artículos y la hamburguesa "simple" que pedí sin salsa tenía salsa dentro. Cuando volví al mostrador para pedirles que me prepararan un refrescante también agregué que faltaban artículos que ordené, me dijeron que no los ordené, que claramente dije que quería la comida de la caja, no la comida original. por sí solo, cuando mi hamburguesa fresca fue devuelta sin salsa, ¡parecía haber salsa en la caja de hamburguesas!El personal era grosero y la tienda estaba sucia.Siendo un ex empleado de KFC esto no es aceptable.

I went to kfc once and as soon as we got there the tables were dirty and I got the wrong order there is rubbish everywhere and squashed chips on the floor

i ordered a 10 piece bargain bucket and it tasted like hot garbage they gave us no chips and forgot to add beans there food is horrible never go there

Fui a un restaurante de comida rápida llamado hoy y no podía creer lo malo que era el servicio y lo dejó con las manos vacías. No me di cuenta de que la prioridad hoy en día es deliveroo, alrededor de 7 conductores de entregas iban y venían mientras esperaba 25 minutos y luego me informaron que se había perdido en el servicio. Es mejor que vayas a MacDonalds porque al menos los conductores tienen que esperar en la fila y no tienen una línea secreta con el gerente para que reciban su comida a tiempo. La señora con la que hablé no podía importarme menos, solo dije que aquí está tu dinero de vuelta. ¿Qué tan malo tiene que ser un lugar para que la gente haga algo?

Food cooked, I'd give 1/10. Toilets disgraceful! Had to ask table to be wiped. All tables dirty. Been before....remember why I'd not again. I'm from Leeds originally. They cook K f c properly there. Maybe Exeter should take some tips from them?

No suelo comer en establecimientos de KFC, pero en general los considero correctos. Este en Exeter sin embargo, era bastante pobre.

Fuimos el viernes a las 22:50 para encontrar el piso lleno de basura y dijeron que cerrarían a las 23:00. Un montón de carne pre cocinada en el asimiento caliente todavía y el sitio web indicando que están abiertos hasta las 2 am. No tiene mucho sentido. Cuando están abiertos y limpian los alimentos, está bien. El personal es encantador.

La papelera rebosa de basura por todo el piso. Varias tablas no han sido borradas ni borradas. Múltiples miembros del personal estaban inmóviles detrás del mostrador (constantemente chismoseando y revisando sus teléfonos). Esperé 10 minutos para que mi bebida llegara después de mi comida.

Large KFC located in South Street in Exeter City with plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. But most of the tables were uncleared and not a good place to eat. Friendly attitude when ordering meal.

The hygiene was very poor, tables were dirty, i found 2 hairs in my chicken. I ordered a boneless banquet with baked beans they gave me 3 fillets which were dripping in grease the beans tasted like i was eating a lit cigarette.

Just your average KFC. When I visited there were quite a lot of dirty tables but staff were clearing them. Staff were friendly enough. Didn't have to wait long for food despite it being fairly busy.

Pedí un pollo de 4 pieza ósea. Me sirve hasta cuatro pequeñas piezas de comida como patatas fritas de pollo caliente y una bebida fría, espumante frío aparentemente llamado Pepsi. KFC deberían avergonzarse de sí mismos para servir. Estaba demasiado llena para poder levantarse y quejarse, pero no nos molestamos en comer su terrible esfuerzo de comida.

En una comida de perlas para mi esposa y yo estaba esperando un cliente volvió a pedir perdón al personal del mostrador para llevar su hamburguesa de pollo volver por frío. Personal en la parte trasera a través de pruebas y en la papelera, volvimos con otro. El cliente appogised de nuevo, pero en ningún momento el personal de decir nada, ni siquiera una disculpa a ella. Servicio discuting.

On our latest trip to devon we visited Exeter and because we could not find anywhere to eat we ended up in KFC, food ordered was a total cockup they could not get two orders of boneless banquets right,when we finally got the food it was ok but what a performance to get the order right,staff were totally incompetent toilets needed a real good clean, only good point was the food was good when it finally arrived

Los miembros del personal se las arregló bastante bien con los clientes enfadados que no tenían paciencia. Había habido un gran orden ideal y el personal estaban esperando más de pollo para cocinar. Clientes manipulados muy amablemente teniendo en cuenta la mala educación de los clientes.

4 piezas de muy pequeño pollo y media bolsa de patatas 7 libras. El tamaño de las porciones son mucho más pequeñas de lo que eran. Con frecuencia falta lados cuando llegue a casa. Esta comida es un timo total. Nunca se compra KFC nunca más.

Sólo un 1 estrellas porque no hay opción para poner a cero. Absolutamente horrible nunca pedir cualquier comida aquí una auténtica ducha de s#% t! ! ! !

This KFC is really strange. Sometimes everything is perfect sometimes very nasty. On my last visit the original recipe chicken was fine but chips were cold and the popcorn chicken was burnt!

Live KFC in the uk and this place is very good, all kfcs in the uk the same really anyway , always high standards and proper big bits of chicken breast, tho I do think the original chicken pieces are now much smaller than in the past

Waited 20 mins for our order with staff arguing with us, finally got called with drinks and sides missing. Food was no where near as good as it usually is, very very disappointed kfc

Called in at about 12.15 p.m. - queuing out of door despite the restaurant being very quiet. Husband waited until 12.30 p.m. to place order, by 12.45 no food - we hadn't been alerted that our food was ready - helpful young lady came over to serving area shouting her orders out clearly, unlucky for us we had a lad who didn't move from the food area - neither of us heard him. When we challenged this he began to answer and argue back - when we got to the table - drinks/sides missing, luke warm and limp chips. Bin overflowing. Been here before and I wish someone would sort the stench out in the ladies toilets!

Popped in today for a change as usually use a different KFC store, ordered a meal but with an extra burger.. There must of been abit if confusion as my meal was served up only to be then told hat I had to wait 3-4 minutes for a hash brown to cook so in the mean time the rest of my meal was going cold, luckily another member of staff noticed this and put it in a hot place so it actually stayed warm other that waiting a little while longer than expected the meal on the whole was very nice and I appreciated that it was kept warm for me in the end

Clean and tidy looks like it's been recently refurbished staff very friendly nothing too much trouble food excellently cooked kfc chicken yummy free wifi and changing which is something I never relizised kfc offered all in all very pleasant

I have been there in 1997. My first KFc. There were no kfc in France at this moment. It has been a revelation to me I definitely love kfc

Always go for the zinger tower burger and never been let down enjoyed the hash brown tender chicken spicy sauce and fresh bap - original frys washed down with orange tango yum yum

Very busy fast food place - food was freshly cooked - but the restaurant is very cramped and you just want to get out of it ASAP (perhaps that's their idea!)

I ask the women in there for a mini chicken fillet for my m8 Gary As I was waiting I looked over the back and saw a member of staff picking her nose while on the phone.As I continued to watch she was preparing my fillet when I received it I asked the women to have other one(I explained Why). Then the women how prepared my fillet started shouting at me in front of other customers in her own language. I got my money back thought. I wouldn't have mined the burger IF THE WOMEN DID NOT PICK HER NOSE no clue what her nationality is but here in england u speka english or get the F out.

I think the cleaner was 'off' the floor,w tables and Waste bins were overflowing.The food was greasy, the staff dispirited, a total disaster culminating in my husband being ill. Never again

Scored 2 out of 5 for hygeine recently. They say they are addressing the issues but it was bad enough to be reported in the local press.

This restaurant has out me off of KFC! Looked filthy behind the counter,staff uniforms dirty/creased and to too it off the stench comjng from the toilets hen we went to find a table was enough to put me off and leave the restaurant without eating the meal! Will definatly not be returning here!!

Food was okay, but there was no hand wipes supplied, no vinegar sachets nor for a while any serviettes, not until we had finished our meal.

Occasionally Visit our local KFC with my son so decided to visit the KFC in Exeter while on holiday. Unfortunately the establishment was below par. The tables were not clean, we sat at a table that was the cleanest but still had to sit with food remnants and drinks containers. My biggest gripe was the malodour eminating from the toilets.On the food side - Chips were cold and soggy. Needless to say we will not be returning.

The restaurant was disgusting and the toilets were even worse. I will never be returning and to top it all off the food made me ill.

The food here is average for a KFC, the restaurant doesn't have any salt or condiments out, you have to ask someone for them which can be difficult when there's a big queue. The service is quite slow as they take one order, make it, then take the next order - with only 1 cashier.

We arrived here just before 9pm and got a bargain bucket to eat in. There were no condiments (salt, vinegar, sauce, tissues, hand wipes) with the meal or anywhere visible in the restaurant. (The person in front of us in the queue asked for some ketchup and the server just dumped about 2 dozen sachets on the counter for him.) The only sort of tissues were a jumbo roll of blue tissues, like you might get in a transport cafe. I went to the toilet to wash my hands - no soap, plus ultra-violet lights to stop the druggies injecting themselves. Gives you an idea of the sort of clientele they usually get.We were in the 'dining' area, along with some foul mouthed youths sitting with their empty cartons and playing with their smartphones. While we were eating they shut the two ways into the dining area with roller shutter doors. No way out other than to attempt to lift them yourselves or try to attract the attention of someone at the counter to open them for you.There was nothing wrong with the meal - pretty standard KFC. I'd suggest that you get a takeaway rather than dine in. And ask for some sauce and tissues as well. Or possibly just go elsewhere.

Firstly, I love KFC.....just not from this shop!They never have enough food prepared, so expect to queue out the door.When you do get your food, check the order.....It is ALWAYS wrong.Somehow they frequently manage to burn food and the fries are always stone cold as they'll serve them up and wait for your chicken to cook. Expect to be stared at like a freak if you want a cup holder or some mayo, and don't bother trying to complain in store as they will say they can't find the complaint book and promise to add it in, which of course never happens.The tables and toilets are filthy and the staff are rude and look tired.Actually so upset with never getting what I have paid for that I have complained to Head Office.If you're driving go to Digby or Sidwell Street instead, if walking, go to Sidwell Street or Cowick Street. This outlet is the worst.

visited kfc today , it was awful the coating on chicken was soggy and greasy , and the chips were also greasy, and you could smell the old fat in the fryers all over the resturant !!! the bins were spilling over and the tables were dirty!!! some of the staff that came out from the back were very dirty!!! there were no napkins or sauce . out the back where the toilets were stank !!! very disappointed won't be going back !!!

Waited 15 minutes to be served at 7:20pm!! 3 people out the back one person serving. Not quick enough. No engagement with the people waiting. Do not go here today's my last time.

And to be repeatable told it's not flat and to have the cup slammed down on my table ! Terrible KFC is always Greece and fat of course . Wonder how much ammonia and silicone ,salt and sugar, fluoride and gmo's are in it ?

After queuing for along time most of what we asked for was not available. Once in the restaurant it was filthy, food on the walls, floors and table. With all the nice places to eat in Exeter this was a much regreted visit and will never go to again!

Food was ok but had the normal flavour and was very greasy. Good for a hangover cure but not something I will have everytime.

Without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. How these people managed to get past their job interview I have no idea. Appalling.

I popped in recently after a long shopping trip and needing some calories. I used to like going to this one years ago but crikey I will not be going back now. The food was fine (as you would expect from KFC) and staff friendly but when I tried to find somewhere to sit down the whole place just stank rotten of urine. I could not escape the smell and ended up throwing half my burger in the bin. I will not be going back.

Its like a death trap in the KFC in exeter, the floors are so slippy because of the grease that is always on the floor. Its so unclean and the staff dont look clean either. its horrible

I like KFC, or rather used to like KFC. I think the delightful crispy coated chicken is turning in to soggy undercooked lukewarm slop. Having spent a day out in Exeter, the consensus was to grab some KFC before the drive home. The restaurant was sterile and without character, but clean. The service like pulling teeth. No smile and a real effort. Sitting down I wanted paper plates, napkins, sauce, cups for the bottle of pop etc. I had to ask for every thing and I felt like I was in the wrong. (It might be a crap job, but at least try and be helpful). Food was soggy, chips warm at best..... Nothing like it used to be.

kfc is never wonderful, like it was when first introduced into this country, when the crispy coating really was special, but it is still acceptable as a good alternative the fish and chips i have never eaten in the restaurant, always takeaways,the restaurant area always looks a bit scruffy.

always have a good meal but this time it may have been quick service but it was lukewarm and flavourless. will give it a miss in future

What can you say about KFC - we all need a fix every now and then and this one ticks all the boxes.

I visited this restaurant one evening with my partner. The place was unbelievable. Food, wrappers and litter all over the floors and tables. My shoes were sticking to the floor as I walked across - obviously had not been cleaned recently nor properly. I asked the server whether a bomb had gone off - he assured me that this was normal for this time of day!! I also asked him whether after we had finished our meal we should just throw all our left overs and wrappings on the floor as so many previous diners had done! I did write to Kentucky Fried Chicken to complain, but was fobbed off with some letter about doing better in future. This is undoubtedly the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in - anywhere! Please go somewhere else to eat - you have been warned.

Visited last month on a Saturday evening around 7.40pm. Upon arrival found the restaurant to be particularly dirty – there was litter/food all over the floor and also on pretty much all of the tables. This was by far the dirtiest fast food restaurant I have seen, particularly bad considering I have visited establishments in Ecuador, Malaysia and China as well as the UK. There were several staff serving behind the tills but none cleaning up the place, despite there being just a queue of 2 or 3 people. We were served fairly quickly, ordering, and paying for a 2 piece meal and a 3 piece variety meal. We waited for a minute or so before then being told that it would be a 16 minute wait for the chicken to be cooked as there was none available, with barely an apology. I would have expected to be told this before or at least while ordering. As we were heading to a concert and didn’t have much time we requested a refund. After much umming and ahhing the manager was summoned and finally we got it. Quite frankly I doubt there would have been a clean place for us to sit anyway. Very poor, even by KFC standards.
